Came in and paid 5.78 expecting a large iced chamomile tea, they tried to give a small. And when I told them I ordered a large he just threw it in a bigger cup and added water. Such trash customer service. The highschool is the only reason why they stay in business.

The iced americano is always great. Cashier guy was really attentive. Nice environment and music. There are tables inside and in the porch. Plenty of parking spots in the market place. I’m sorry for the pics, I eat /drink before being aware this place deserves a good review. Thanks guys.

Hit or miss. Sometimes they are incredibly nice and sometimes I leave pis$ed off. I keep coming because I refuse to drink Starbucks and I happen to really like Coffee Bean products alot better. But this store is at least better then the other local ones. The other ones have a issue almost everytime. I literally order the same exact thing everyday. To avoid issues at the other locations I order online for pick up. Most of the people here are nice. Today I had an issue, last time I had the nicest person. The time before that I had an issue but with a different nice person and the time before that I had a rude person with an issue.

Bad service and very slow. One morning I ordered a caramel frappe which took 30 minutes to make and give to me. I tried to be understanding as they can get busy but I watched a server have my drink in hand while talking to another server for about 5 minutes. This morning was even more frustrating. I ordered a 5 dollar hot chocolate. The workers took 40 minutes to make my drink. After asking twice about my order they proceeded to give me the wrong drink.

Terrible Service. One time I went to order a caramel frappe at this place, and It did not taste anything like it, It tasted like pure water and milk. So I This guy named (Isai) was very rude and disrespectful and said he wouldn’t remake it. So please take actions of this guy named Isai and if anyone else ever comes here and notices him be careful.

While the ice blended coffee drink at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is good, I find it to be on the expensive side. The quality is decent, but the prices make it more of an occasional treat rather than a regular coffee stop for me. If youre willing to splurge a bit for a cup of coffee, its worth trying, but it might not be the most budget-friendly option.

I went to this place because of an app that gives you surprise bags and The guy who gave me the bag (male, glasses, white, curly hair)was really mean and rude. He said to us we had to confirm in front of him or else he wouldn’t give us the bag. He ended up giving us the bag after I told him numerous times that the app says to do it before we get to the place and showing him that I had no way to confirm. Also he gave us less things. There was a lady that was in font of me who came at the same time for the same app and the same bag and she got 6-7 items and we only got 3. And he gave me a stink eye when he gave me the bag( bro gave me an Uncle Ruckus look)This would not be the case with StarbucksIt’s the first time I’ve ever been here and I was with my family of 15 (family reunion ) and we were gonna meet up and get something else too but this guys attitude ruined the whole vibe. So we infact left to Starbucks.They had great coffee and serviceThanks Starbucks👍

I truly love the drinks here. The price is a little bit higher than starbucks, but the drinks are a little bit bettter. My favorite drink here is the ultimate vanilla bean ice blended. The place is very spacious, and plenty of seats available. Great service, but slow due to them only having to workers. I guess thats what having a higher minimum wage means.

Same for my husbands drink. Nothing like carmel macchiato. It was good, but not what we ordered. If it wasnt good, I would have given this place 2 stars.

Came here for a quick breakfast. But I waited way too long for warm bagel. They put my bagel on the counter and didn’t tell me or called out my name. The place was packed with customers waiting as well. The staff was either annoyed or tired because they were very slow. I walked out with a cold bagel. Terrible service here. I will not come here again.

I ordered a Large Caramel and Cookies n Cream Ice Coffee at the Downey Location yesterday. It wasnt a long wait. A group of people was ahead of me. The staff person who took my order was very professional and nice. I received my drink within minutes. The inside was clean with a few people lounging. The drawback is the parking. It was packed due to being in a small shopping center with other business. Other than that Ill be going back soon. My experience overall was great. Kudos to the staff. 👍

I’ve recently started going to Coffee Bean, and have been very pleased with their vast menu options to accommodate people like me who don’t like caffeine. They have a great matcha drink and teas which helped me greatly when I was sick a few times. Also their decaf drinks are delicious and very well blended. I’m always content with every drink I order!

I like the quality of the drinks at coffee bean preferably over Starbucks. However there were 3 workers in the store and one of the trash cans was so full inside that stuff was falling out of it so that was kind of dirty looking and not very appealing. The young lady that took my order was a bit too shy.... maybe she was new Im not sure but but the drink and croissant were good.

Forced to give a star to make a review, but the product that I ordered was really good so I gladly give this forced star along with another for the great drink.However, I find it appalling that a customer friendly Cafe would have a restroom yet tell customers that they list the key. If a key cant be responsibly maintained, maybe this establishment should install a digital code for customers as other places do. This experience will keep me determined never to enter another Coffe and Bean to spend my money. I find both the irresponsibility to maintain the key and the indifferent attitude when expressing this to the customer unacceptableWell, it seems many Coffe Bean locations are closing down, perhaps this one should be added to the list

If you want some beyond diner quality coffee and a little something to go with it, this is a good option. They had a few simple snacks and sweets. The frozen coffee drink was really tasty, but with more charge than I needed late in the afternoon. I am sure they would have done half decaf if I had asked, and it would have been perfect for earlier in the day. It is not a restaurant, nor does it pretend to be. The food is similar in scope to Starbucks, but being a different chain, the offerings are different. There are small tables and comfortable chairs you would expect in a coffee place. The furniture and atmosphere a a bit lighter in color than Starbucks, not does it seem to take itself as seriously

My absolute favorite coffee shop! When I was dieting I tried so many alternative drinks at Starbucks and I just wasnt satisfied. I discovered a no sugar added mocha latte at Coffee Bean and died!! Its super rich in flavor, not watered down at all. I cant go without it. I absolutely LOOOOOOOVE Jessica which is an employee there. She is so welcoming and has a beautiful smile. I really like this place. Unfortunately the only time I get to stop by is when my husband or grandson are getting haircuts next door at Supercuts or I’m stopping by Petco...parking in the afternoon is a disaster most of the time. When you try to stop you have to fight to find parking with the parents picking up their kids from the high school. Other than that, the atmosphere is a pleasant place to hangout both inside and/or outside.

So far so good. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf of Downey is good. Servers are helpful (I am bad with coffee drinks and they bare with me) and coffee is fast and pretty tasty. The Mochas are decent and good. The main reason I like this place is that it is good for studying and doing homework. They dont bug you or try to freeze you out of the store. They installed a row of 5 tables with plugs so I am happy. Hours are decent, a bit better than starbucks, being that they close at 11 PM.

I go in on 2/6/2019 at about 9am. I ask for a regular coffee with steamed almond milk and the barista is telling me this will cost me $4.10 (incl. tax). I explain to her that I got this coffee every day for the past year or so and my price is always under $3.00 (incl. tax).Barista was not having it, I am obviously wrong. This review is not necessarily about trying to overcharge for coffee, which can be due to poor training, but when I politely explained the situation, the barista got rude and dismissive.
