They hire the dumbest staff. First they hired a girl who didn’t know what “black tea” was and kept serving the fruitiest flavored teas no matter what I asked for. Had to start ordering via the app to get the exact correct name of tea so she wouldn’t mess it up. Now they hired a guy who can’t understand me when I say My name to pick up my online order. He spent seven minutes with me by the window trying to find my order until his supervisor came over, asked my name, and found it immediately.

Excellent cup of coffee, here and I love their cold mixed Frappe style drinks. I really enjoy the locations and sometimes will stay for a bit and enjoy some of their latest style brews. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has been a comfort stop for years. I highly recommend their coffee and service is usually very prompt. Great coffee experience and if you can find one of their stores in the area there are sure to be patrons enjoying delicious hot cups of coffee.

I order here all the time, the drinks are accurate %99 of the time and wait is fair.All great minus an employee who was blatantly disrespectful to my face, making rude gestures and noises you know like a kid would, all just because I was picking up my order and the front door was locked when it was still open.All I needed was my bag and politeness, I’d did nothing bad and was really kind the whole time.Aside from that great coffee

Very small parking lot, short drive thru that can become very crowded. Walk up counter for orders is very small inside. Not welcoming to stay and sit, but Very friendly staff, very clean. Convenient location, recommend and will return if you’re looking for something other than Starbucks…. Which is literally a block away.

Staff seemed to be hungover as they were not very attentive. They first a had a hard time taking our order and then gave me the wrong coffee instead when I asked for what I ordered they gave me a cup of just steamed milk with no coffee while giggling. The cheese danish came in a plastic bag and they didn’t offer to hear it or anything.Do t recommend just go to StarbucksSeem to treat their customer like number and not potential returning clients

Service here is more often than not short bordering on rude. And multiple times they’ve ignored the drink customizations or even left off standard parts of a drink that weren’t even customized. Then they act annoyed if you ask them to fix it. Or if you ask them to heat up an item that you ordered on the app and specified to heat up. And this is coming from someone who is super careful not to be that annoying rude customer and apologizes for asking for anything extra. I love Coffee Bean but I avoid this location if I can.

The GM at this store is really overwhelmed. I asked her why was the store out of espresso beans and she said that she only has 2 shift supervisors and the company wont let her hire more staff. Not sure whats going on here but its something that should be addressed and handled. Very strange experience for customers.

I got a slice of Chrissy Teigen banana bread. It was the most delicious and curious harmony of flavors, and moist! The coconut bits & chocolate chips were very tiny, so it was like finding little treasures. Also got the Chai Rooibos tea latte.Another wonderful flavor!We always order through the mobile app. Our orders are ready when we get to the window. The drive-through is open till 11 PM.

I really haven’t been feeling this location lately. The service has been slow, even when they’re not busy, and the attitudes have been terrible.On today’s visit I forgot my mask so I fully covered my nose and mouth with my hoodie. I also stood OUTSIDE to ask for my mobile order. The first person who sees me ask where my mask is and I tell them I forgot it but I’m just picking up an order. She tells the manager so then the manager comes over and also asks where my mask is to which I replied, again, that I forgot it. She says she can’t serve me since I don’t have on a mask.Now lets not forget that people are making masks from extra material at home. So my hoodie fully covering my nose and mouth, while I stand outside shouldn’t be this big of a deal. I’ve already said that I was just picking up a mobile order.I then tell her, again, that I’m picking up a mobile order. she grabs it for me and feels the need to AGAIN say she can’t serve me without a mask. I already got what i came for… how is that necessary or even remotely good customer service? I tell her that I’ve obviously already been served seeing how my drink is in my hand and this nut job says it again 🤣 “Sorry I can’t serve you without a mask.” What?!I prefer the taste of coffee from Coffee Bean, but Starbucks has them beat in terms of customer service. Might be time to use up my balance and part ways.

Its usually pretty fast here. Occasionally Ill ask for the pastry to be warmed up and theyll forget, but its not a big deal. Its very small inside. The only seating is outside, so if its really sunny or hot its not the best place for hanging out. There is a drive-thru, which is cool.

Great as a drive-through service with a super courteous staff that make really great drinks. Outdoor seating only. Tiny storefront for walk-ups. Absolutely no bathroom that I can find anywhere for public which is a huge minus. Would have stayed longer and bought some food, but no bathroom, which means I have to drive to Ralphs. Youre losing $$$$.

Location does not take walk-ups after 8 p.m. only drive-thru... unfortunately employees are difficult and disinterested in being helpful.... it is the only walk up location for hospital employees to get coffee... now we cannot go there after 8 p.m. very difficult.. they close the lobby anytime they want with no explanation... the only solution is to bring your car

This is my favorite neighborhood coffee spot. Nice staff. Good seating. Decent wifi. Service can sometimes be hit or miss. Specifically with what you order. The manager does take care of you if anything is wrong, however.

It took a while to get our drinks. This location is S L O W. It doesnt matter if you walk in or drive thru, they are slow. Ive seen the employees on their phones or talking to each other with overflowing trashcans. I prefer the drive thru location on Sepulveda. They are quicker and more efficient and drinks are better prepared. This one was on the way home and so we used it begrudgingly.It used to be a good location for excellent service and tasty drinks. Maybe they can get back there.

Im a fan of this chain but in this case there is no seating inside to use laptops and its really designed for drive through only. Theres plenty of outdoor tables and umbrellas if you really want to stay. Ive only gone inside once to get tea. Its busy with cars but the one larger one down the street closed due to slow business.

On the last 3 drive thru visits, I ordered a coffee cake, the cashier asked me twice, just to make sure if i said coffee cake and they would even ask if I want it warmed up. But yet they would forget in seconds, because when I drive up to pay they would just charge me for my coffee. I asked them about my coffee cake and one of the cashiers even said, oh you ordered a coffee cake? Like really??? You even asked me if I wanted warmed up, how can you forget in seconds??? This the last time Im coming to this coffee bean. Smh.
