Most pictures people have posted are from the Malibu location. TO location is a cozy bar with four or five hightop tables. Food was wonderful. The menu has increased in price by apx 30% from posted menu. Lobster tacos were great @ $23.99. You have to ask for the happy hour $8 margarita special price and they weren’t my favorite. I’m sorry I didn’t take more pictures of both the place and the menu!!!

Found this spot in thousand oaks while searchingfor a good breakfast spot. we ordered a breakfastburrito and chilaquiles with a Sundae . the foodwas good it was a bit pricey but what do you expectits ventura County. the staff there was reallyfriendly, and the coffee was delicious

This place is cuuuuuute. And the drinks and food were delicuous! We sat in the bar area, our alcoholic beverages were delivered very quickly. And they took our order for food in a timely manner. Carne Asada fries hit the spot perfectly. I will say my only complaint was I asked for some water when we ordered our food and never got it. Bur everything else was fantastic. We got there around 5 on a Sunday and it was busy but not packed.

I definitely fell in love with this place. I love the bright blue walls, flowers, beautiful hanging lights and adorable boho style couches and seating area. There was parking right to the side of the restaurant. We were seated right away and enjoyed a break from our drive seated outside on one of the couches. The cars passing by on PCH were an obvious and didnt bother us. The food was delicious. Service was good. I will definitely be back.

Had brunch here. Bomb food and bomb drinks. I had a chicken bowl, wife had lobster tacos, and kids got a quesadilla. Everyone was happy, full, and satisfied.They have an extensive menu with lots of creative options. Full bar with a few beers on tab and a champagne flight. Yup, a champagne flight, mmmhhhhhmmm.The service was friendly and fast.

The hardest thing to get right is a simple dish, because you cant hide its flaws. Tacos, fajita, guacamole...often good, but not great. Except at Cliffdiver. Seasoned and prepared perfectly. Vegetables that look like they were picked that day. Highly recommend.

Cool fun place with great energy and a fun vibe! We came in on a Wednesday evening and it was a perfect combo of relaxed and busy. Chandler was our bartender and he was one of the greatest mixologists I’ve come across. He is one of the reasons I’ll be coming back! Great drinks.

Very good, we had 2 burgers (I know it says seafood but we were craving a burger 🍔) a cantaloupe water and a LA hazy IPA . The busser was on top of all his things and very nice energy, the server seemed a little lost, they were pretty busy but I think he could have handled it better . Kitchen was great, fast . The patio is very cozy and the color pattern that they chose is beautiful and heart-warming. Nice interior as well, i think I saw some TV screens also, you can come watch your favorite sports games 😀 . I might be back someday to try the seafood

Do not visit this amazing place because I want to have all the food to myself. 🙏😂First visit was to the location during covid. They were filming a commercial but accommodated us at the outdoor seating area. The guacamole has the perfect seasoning and they replaced the chips with veggies.The star of the show and why I had to visit location is the surf and turf burrito 🌯 The steak is tender and instead of fish like many would have, this version has moist shrimp. Everything you expect from a great burrito and perfectly grilled to melt the cheese.Mahi mahi, cauliflower taco, and horchata rounded out the meal. Luckily had a partner to share with 👧🏼🍹

Today was our first experience at The Cliffdiver and were so happy that it exists! First things first... the ambiance is spectacular. Its uniqueness feels like some hip spot in Portland or in LA - but its here in Thousand Oaks! We went with our family and loved its relaxed feel. It wasnt overcrowded at all which was lovely.The service was very good, and the food was exquisite. My family LOVED the esquites and my sons California Burrito looked out-of-this world! I forget what my wife got, but it also looked KILLER! Im Keto, so I had the smash burger as a lettuce wrap which is kind of In-N-Out esque in a good way, and also got an order of the mussels which were excellent. Theyre in a cream sauce with bacon and cilantro.If I could give make one improvement to the menu, I would make some Keto options where you get the burritos or tacos that are on the menu, but make them into bowls with the rice and beans removed - so itd be like lettuce, meats, cheese, guacamole and sour cream. Mind you... I bet theyd absolutely do this... but I often feel awkward asking, and youre not sure how much its going to end up being with all the adjustments and added meats... so it would be awesome for that to be on there.I was just happy they had delicous things I could eat though. We will absolutely be back here. Its literally the perfect place to take the family or friends who visit from out of town because its not just your run-of-the-mill place... its really fun and memorable. The music selection was pretty fire as well. Yeah, I said it...There is a connecting bar as well that is open a bit later than the kitchen I believe. Whats nice is that the two sections are separated a bit, so they feel like two different spaces. Oh! - They also have their own parking lot in the back with plenty of parking! Again... really glad we found this place and if youre having trouble thinking of a casual and relaxed place to go with an amazing vibe... this is it!!!

I ordered lobster tacos. The lobster meat is cooked perfectly, the cabbage gives it a crunch, and I like the spiciness from the chipotle aioli. This atmosphere reminds me of dining out in Mexico. Superb service. I recommended all to try this place.

Stopped by on my way down PCH. The outdoor area and decor are beautiful. Feels like a slice of vibrant tropical paradise. The food/drink is good and they sell merchandise as well if you would like a local touristy souvenir.

This is place is so disorganized, the seating is first come but you have to stand in line and order inside first. Even though it didnt appear busy, it took a long time to get our food and the staff kept saying sorry but were busy. The surf & turf burrito came with no shrimp, the burger was decent, and the ceviche was a bowl with a few shrimp and some avacado.

Lobster tacos with the whole claw. Need I say more?The Cliffdiver is one of those beautiful eateries that catches your eye while cruising the PCH. Friendly service and comfy indoor or outdoor seating (couches and a turquoise gem aesthetic) it’s hard to beat the views. Even next to the highway, I didn’t once feel overcrowded nor were the passing cars a bother.If you’re traveling along the coast, earned an appetite after surfing or craving some good grub, this is the perfect place.Word of advice - order the guac. They give you a whole bowl w/chips, salsa and cherry tomatoes.

We stopped here for lunch while we were out adventuring. The restaurant has a really cool boho costal aesthetic and most of the tables are outside. I love how dog friendly their restaurant was! The staff is also really friendly.If youre VERY hungry maybe this isnt the post to grab lunch. The portions are VERY small and the price is pretty high up there for what youre actually getting. The Tacos had more cabbage on them then fish. Dont get me wrong the flavor was great but nothing out of this world.We ordered the Surf and Turf Burrito, Lobster tacos, and the Mahi-Mahi Tacos.The Seating situation was a bit crazy as well. Its kind of like a free for all which is fine until people (other customers) start coming up to you asking if youre almost done with your meal. It felt really rushed and I wish we could have enjoyed the patio a little more. It seems like the staff isnt too involved with making sure guests have a place to sit.If youre looking for a drink after a long day of exploring Malibu make sure to hit the liquor store first. They currently dont serve liquor but suggest your walk up the road and pick something up at the liquor store.It was an ok experience.

We went early on Taco Tuesday when we knew it would be nice and quiet for my mostly deaf mom with mixed dementia. My mom loved it!!! I thought the margarita was the best I have had since Catalina. Quality ingredients in both the food and drink. Service was extremely accommodating and patient.

We arrived without a reservation, but the manager squeezed us in anyway. (Make a reservation!) It was very busy. There was only one server and the manager, and they were WORKING nonstop go go go.Thats the reason for the loss of a star on service. They were trying, but it took a while for basics.Had the guacamole and chips. Delicious! The margarita was super and the two mains - lobster tacos, and poke salad were wonderful. It was a really good meal. Unfortunately they were understaffed. It is noisy, but that is to be expected in a packed out smaller restaurant.

Edit 11/10/2023: Met a friend for happy hour and was hoping for the best. Nope. Got chicken fajitas and Im positive its thigh meat. Or the worst chicken breast Ive ever had. Never got chips and salsa and again didnt get an itemized bill. Had to flag someone down for everything every time. Definitely will not be back. Same guy as last time with equally bad service overall.Edit 7/19/2023. Gave it another chance and was still disappointed. The happy hour menu prices do not match the bill. Chips look like a bowl out of the bottom of the bag. They were all broken and in tiny pieces. Had to ask twice for new ones and it wasnt busy. There was a young lady behind the bar in the beginning who was great then some guy with a dirty t shirt and pony tail decided to be the bartender? He was on his cell phone constantly and we had to flag him down for everything. Definitely our last time.This is for the Thousand Oaks location. Supporting this place since it opened. Was great the first couple times but the quality of food and service has gone way down. Bartenders don’t know when it’s happy hour. They don’t know how to make drinks. They don’t know the menu. To be fair, the bartenders have never been good, so not singling anyone out. Sometimes the beers are warm. It’s bizarrely inconsistent. After only a couple months.Had the gringo tacos and the shells fell apart in the first bite. The salsa was so spicy we couldn’t eat it. The quesadilla used to be full of chicken breast chunks and cheese and now it’s a small amount of dark meat and barely enough cheese to qualify as a quesadilla. We were never offered chips and salsa. Had to ask for water multiple times. We never saw a manager there whole time we were there. And the A/C doesn’t work. Not sure if they’re trying to run business away but this seems to be the blueprint if I’ve ever seen it.

We sat at the bar and just relaxed and got to know the staff. We got the poke tostadas and they were AMAZING. Great price and filling. Love the beachy vibe and its a great place to just unwind and have some great drinks. The guacamole and chips we demolished... more like I did to myself but it had such a nice flavor and clean. Grand opening on Thursday and we will definitely be going back. All in all its a nice,fresh spot to add to the thousand oaks community.

We found this restaurant by chance when we were searching for Mexican food nearby and so glad we did! It has a charming atmosphere and decor with a beachy boho look; very Malibu! Very friendly, great customer service. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors there are booths and tables. Outside they have relaxing lounge chairs where you can enjoy a cocktail and relax. Delicious food! We will definitely be back; one of our new favorite spots in Malibu!

Excellent service, good food, and a fun atmosphere. Saw negative reviews and decided to try it anyway. So glad we did. The place was clean, had a great outdoor setup, and cute decor. Stopped here with my dad. The chicken sandwich I ordered was good. It had a dark golden brown and crispy on the outside with the chicken perfectly cooked (not dry/not pink). It had pickles and a cabbage slaw on it with a good bun. If they make it like that every time I would drive here just for the sandwich.My dad had lobster tacos. I tried one and it was tasty.Caveat: I guess the food comes out slow. I was driving up PCH so I ordered ahead of time. When I arrived they had outdoor seating so we sat down to eat (Covid 19 no eating inside) so we didnt wait. But I would happily wait 35 minutes for that sandwich.Our service was good, though everything is a bit weird and different with the Covid stuff.

Awesome place to have a nice meal with your significant other, family or your friends. This was my second time here and boy it has hit the mark everytime. Good mixture of food that should hit anyones palate. I had brunch today and had there breakfast burrito, it was fresh and filled with flavor. My son had there fried chicken sandwich and he says it beats Chick-fil-As. My wife had the ahi tostada and she loved it. We also order a bowl of guacamole which was fresh and delicious. Chips and salas was great as well. So far its been a hit and not a miss at this great spot to have a bit to eat. Dont hesitate and stop by if your ever in the city of Malibu.

We had ordered food & were waiting for about 45 min. We asked if food was coming out soon & he said, “oh you never ordered?” Um what do you mean? We placed our order with him when he took our drink order? He was on his phone the whole time just laid back chillen on the front counter. Place was very empty. Never cared. No hospitality, stay away.
