Ann Marie was wonderful! She spent the time to really get to know what we were looking for in a house especially since we were in the process of growing our family. For her, it was clear that she was helping us find a home not a house. While we were in escrow Ann Marie advised and facilitated getting multiple inspections which brought to light work that needed to be done to the house. She was able to work with the sellers agent to come to a fair middle ground. She has also been an amazing resource for us as things pop up. I highly recommend working with Ann Marie. Jim and Ann Marie made the home selling an easy process despite the curve balls we were thrown with Shelter in Place and everything else that followed. Many folks stressed over getting a buyer for the home and will it be the right offer? That was not a problem in this case. Three over ask offers in 24 hrs! I was looking for a house in the East Bay (Danville, San Ramon or Pleasanton area). When I was looking for a real estate agent to work with me initially, I wasnt looking to stick to just one. I was just hopping around agent to agent to just show me the homes. It was when doing that I realized how tough is the Bay Area market and to actually get your offer accepted. I will never find a home if I keep doing that. I realized I needed an agent who is excellent negotiator, someone who knows the market in and out in the area (know the price even before they show up for sold homes around - usually 30 days after close of escrow), has great customer reviews and also listed with an Agency which has most homes listed around in my area. Ann Marie checked all the boxes for me and Im so glad I chose her as my agent. Almost all the homes we visited in the area, she already had an idea of the expected price range. Ann belongs to an agency with most listings in East Bay. Having the same agency representing both buyer and seller can guarantee both that the transaction will go smoothly. So, it works wonders in negotiation when 10 offers are competing on the same pricing for a home. I had been looking around homes casually for the last 6 months and Ann Marie was able to help me get a beautiful home with all my requirements met within 1 month. It was like magic. If you know the Bay Area market, it is almost impossible to find one so early. People are scrambling to find homes and have been living on rentals after selling their own and not able to find one. Thats the kind of market with desperate buyers where she was able to get me a home of my choice so quickly. We visited so many homes.
