Really great experience working with Byers in Grass Valley. They did my Solar last March and have a great team working the PGE system. I just used them again to install a SolaTube. Travis, was so patient while helping me determine where the best place/s to install the sky light. The price was very good and the installation he did was clean, quick and flooded my kitchen with natural light. Here are some before and after pics that I took.

We had gotten a dent in the top of our gutter. We still dont know how. LolI knew that would compromise our system and called them out to see if it could be fixed.Their technicians, Shandy and Andy, were very professional. They were able to get the dent out, so no patching had to be done. They even cleaned out the gutters for us!Wonderful work!I would recommend this company to anyone needing great gutters. You dont realize how important gutters are, on your house, until they arent working right. Our old gutters were causing foundation issues, thats why we called in Byers.

We had an excellent experience, Bill, our sales representative was very thorough in his estimate, going over the particulars. Byers isn’t cheap and it came to more than we expected, but after he went over why, we decided it was worth the extra money. Joe and his team of installers arrived on time and got to work right away. The quality of their work was first rate and the end result was more than satisfactory. We are very pleased with our purchase and would recommend Byers to our friends and family.

Jorge and Rosey did an excellent job repairing and cleaning my Byers Leaf Guard gutters. They hadnt been cleaned since they were installed 7 years ago and had developed a small leak on a corner seam. Now they are as good as new! I also appreciated Jorge and Roseys professionalism and enjoyed speaking with them. They are such a sweet couple.

I am sending a review of Andy and Shandy who came out to clear and clean my gutters of all the acorns our woodpeckers left us. They called the day before our appointment and did arrive when they said they would. It took a couple of hours. They cleared and cleaned the gutter and washed away any debris that hit the ground. After they finished they gave us a report of what they did and a bonus for us was they gave us some pictures of our roof that might need some repair. They were friendly and curious and we are glad that Leaf Guard meant what they said about cleaning our gutters if there was a problem. Thanks for keeping your word as well as sending Shany and Andy to do a great job! Glad we got Leaf Guard gutters!

Definitely a 5/5!How do I explain Byers’ service?The repairs were done thoroughly. Good and easy communication. Photos were taken. The admin staff were friendly. The General Manager provided me work documentation that I needed for an escrow.What is interesting is that they charge per hour of service not per job. I shopped around and found this type of payment saved me a lot. The repairs took 6 hours in two days and I was charged not more than half the cost of my other estimates. In fact, they had done more repairs than my other estimates. Definitely, I would call them back for service.

Jorge and Rosy did an excellent job. They showed up early. They were energized and engaged to do there job. They were attentive to my needs and explained the scope of work to be done. They worked in supervised as I had to go to work. When I returned home I was able to see that my needs were addressed and other than the sprouted acorns removed from the gutter, I would have never known they were here. They were friendly and represented Byers well. Job was covered under warranty 100% and didnt cost me a penny for a four hour service. Byers rocks!

I purchased Byers LeafGuard Gutters in 2015 and I have been very pleased since then that they work very well, are attractive and do not detract from the looks of the exterior. On occasion when I have called to have the gutters checked, the service department responds in a timely manner and the service technicians are on time, professional, well-groomed, personable, conscientious and pride themselves on a job well done. We first did a problematic portion of our gutters in 2012 and then we found another area in 2015 we wanted to change from regular gutters. Then, this year, I decided I was just tired of dealing with all the rest and we had all the remaining gutters changed to Byers Leaf guard. No more clearing out leaves or dealing with leaks or standing water. A lifetime guarantee means nothing if the company isn’t solid and Byers is a family business and has been doing work in this area for over 35 years! They guarantee their gutters against chipping, peeling, or clogging for as long as you live in your home. Great company.ADDED 3-7-24. we found a couple of little issues which wasn’t unreasonable since we had such an extensive installation. The quality of a company is the product but more importantly the quality of the people at the company. I continue to be so impressed with Byers. They sent a crew out this morning to address a few challenges. Joe was the lead on the crew. Great guys. Very organized and efficient and took care of the little things we were seeing. Byers worked on my roof, replacing a skylight, adding a cricket at a chimney, and a couple of other minor fixes. The guys were courteous, hard working, and knowledgeable about their trade. They also cleaned up when the job was done. So, why only 4 stars? One thing was the amount of time it took to get it done. Their estimator came out Feb 8th and the job was completed April 3rd--although some of the time was waiting on a skylight order, it still seemed long. The other was that I thought the price was pretty high, but I admit I did not get other bids because I thought Byers would do a good job.

Jorge and partner cleaned our LeafGuard gutters from acorns inserted by the natural wildlife in our area. They did a very thorough job inspite of the heat that day. Woodpeckers completely fill our gutters with acorns. It took 3 trips to get the gutters cleaned. First trip, the crew didnt bring long enough ladders despite a prior phone call clearly stating they would need long ladders or a bucket truck. Second trip was interrupted due to strong winds making ladder work unsafe. Third trip was the charm. I just wish they had brought the right equipment the first time because the overflowing gutters removed a lot of the grit from our asphalt shingles.

I highly recommend Jorge & Rosa for all future repairs and gutter clean out. My reasons are this: they were extremely professional, skilled and i could see they didnt cut corners to get the job done right the first time. I know this because of others who have come out to my home to clean or replace/fix downspout. Plus, Jorge explained the issue, show me what they completed and other spots were it could happen again. Weve had the Byers Leafguard gutters for over 20 years on our 2-story home. These past months during the big rain and snow events, we noticed some type of obstruction and didnt really want to haul out the super-long extension ladder to go up to the second floor. Byers stands by their product: when we called them to take a look, they not only did the troublesome location, but checked and/or cleaned ALL our gutters (even the second garage)! Rocio and Jorge got the job done on a cold, windy, RAINY day, with efficiency and friendliness. This is a great product that can only enhance your home and saves you from cleaning gutter muck and debris every year, even when you live among the trees as we do.

Consumers shopping for gutter leaf guard systems- BEWARE of Byers. Their deposit is not refundable. My husband and I entertained salesman Dave for over an hour in our home to get a gutter leaf guard quote. We were quite serious about installing this system. At the end of the hour, Dave, who I will ad, uses some hard sales pressuring tactics, got us to sign up for a system. He stated the company requires a $1000 deposit. At no time did Dave state the deposit was NON-REFUNDABLE, so we signed up and used a credit card to pay the deposit. We figured, what can we lose? If we decide not to do it, well get our deposit back and move on. Coincidentally, we filed our taxes and happened to owe a lot more than we planned this year, so we didnt have $18,000 cash to pay for a leaf guard. We applied for the financing offered through Byers. Guess what? They denied us financing because of our debt (currently have some major expenditures on credit). Since they denied our financing, my husband said forget it, and called the company to cancel the install. The lady in Byers accounting dept. said we need to call and speak to Dave to cancel. So last week, my husband called high pressure Dave (after speaking to accounting). Dave again was very pushy. He said, What if I could get you financing through another company? My husband said no, weve decided we simply cant afford this right now. A week goes by, still no $1000 refund. So my husband calls Byers again today (March 5, 2024). This time, he was given to a man to speak to. The man said, Well, we cant refund your money. Its non-refundable. My husband said Why? The man said, We have costs My husband asked what costs? The man could not articulate costs other than a lead test performed on our current gutters. My husband said we will gladly pay for the lead test, which does not cost $1000. The man said Ill have to get back to you. This was this morning (3/5/24) before 10 am. Still no call back. Thats 3 calls to cancel and get our deposit back, all a dead end, no deposit, and giving us the run-around. We ended up calling Chase bank who our credit card is through and making a fraud claim for this company, who fraudulently took our $1000 and wont refund it. Finally, please know that we were provided a sales receipt BY EMAIL after we paid our deposit. We cannot find anywhere on the sales receipt that our deposit is not refundable, but I would say any company who puts that info on a receipt thats given after you pay is a SCAM artist. And any company who takes $1000 from you because you cancel the job well before the start date is a unethical and not a reputable business. I will conclude by saying: Dave, and Byers- you are unethical and immoral. Any person and/or business who operates by not disclosing that deposits are not refundable is a scam artist. If you need money that bad, you are not a good business and youre having trouble getting business..

I spent a couple of hours cleaning up my driveway, the street and the courtyard.There were chards and pieces of metal in the street.The job itself was excellent. This review is based on my most recent experience. My previous experience was 1 star at best. More on that later.I had Beyers come and clean my gutters, under warranty. Jorge & Rosy arrived on time and spent almost 2 hours cleaning them. They did a super thorough job! Then they cleaned up all the mess that came out of my gutters, which was a lot. They also found some issues and gave recommendations on fixes.This was a huge improvement over the last time I had them come out. That crew was done in less than an hour, left behind a huge mess on my deck and around my house. They also used my water hoses. Jorge & Rosy used their own hoses. My gutters ended up glogging again 2 storms later. I decided to clean them myself this time and I found all sorts of sediment in them. No way that much had accumulated that quickly. Jorge and his partner Rosey analyzed the problem and determined that a few support brackets had become loose or had broken. They put new stronger brackets on with extra long reinforcing screws to fix our drainage problem. Before leaving they also cleaned the interior of all of the gutters on our home. Kent from Byers was very knowledgeable and informative about the Solatube whole house fan product during our consultation. When he came to install, he did it quickly (one hour, WOW hes good) and made sure to cover around the area to keep our house clean. I had done my research, so already knew Solatube was a highly rated product and what size we needed. Another company said they could only install their brand in the back bedroom which would require the door to be open or over the front entryway (not what I want people to look at when they enter). If you look at the photos, you can see we have a lot going on in our hallway, but thats where we thought it would be most effective and not so noticeable. Kent put the intake in the hallway between the AC intake and a light. Its been quiet (just a low hum) and cooled the house nicely at night. As a result, the AC hasnt started running until late afternoon even when the temperature in Sacramento, CA is hitting the high 90s-low 100s. Were very happy with Byers service and the Solatube product. Recommend you give them a try.

Jorge and Rosie came out to repair the downstairs gutter that was pulling away from the house. They were very professional and pleasant, and Jorge explained what they were going to do before they started the work. He was very thorough, and even checked the gutter on the second story roof and tightened up a few screws that he found that were coming loose up there. He also informed me that I can call each year and have a free maintenance check and cleaning done! I would definitely recommend Jorge and Rosie, and Byers gutters.

We hade them installed close to 20 years ago and since they are guaranteed, and have some leaks, I had them come out. Jorge and Rosie were prompt (actually they were a half hour early!). The gutters are clean now, but since that took the whole hour, we’ll schedule them to fix leaks on three corners. Those gutters are one of the best things we did to the cabin!

Worst service I’ve had in my life.The solar system at my house was installed by them so I’m forced to use them because of warranty. Took 2 weeks to get a technician out for a diagnosis. I asked to be updated what the issue was since I wasn’t home but wasn’t connected by them. I’ve left multiple messages and asked for a call back but nobody has contacted me. The issue is not fixed. Sun power asked the technician to reach out to me and he texted me a little about the issue but couldn’t answer my questions claiming that they need to come back to diagnose the problem. But nobody from the solar department is getting back to me to explain the issue or to schedule the new appointment.Absolute joke.

The home we purchased had Byers Leafguard gutters. At a home show we found out about the fantastic warranty program they have and were able to purchase ownership of the warranty as the new homeowners. I called to have them serviced and was impressed with the quality and professionalism of their staff. I was given a time frame of when they would arrive and a phone call that day to inform me when they were on their way. I showed them my area of concern and after they addressed it, they explained what was happening and how they improved it. They cleaned all of the gutters, water tested them and cleaned up after.
