The technology is sound, but the integrity is lacking. Not only is the cancelation well hidden if the service does not benefit you as intended, but you will receive no cancelation confirmation upon canceling. Pay close attention to your accounts because they will continue to withdraw funds. Once this is discovered, the best they can do is 1 months service refund even when the data is clear you have not used the service for nearly half a year.

This company is VERY MISLEADING. You DO NOT really get 1,000 messages, they charge you by the character so if you send over 300 characters, it counts as 3 messages! That means you pay $46 just to send ~300 messages!! They did not make this clear before purchasing and I am appalled that I paid for this. I need my money back ASAP and I will not do business with scammers.
They billed me for over 2 years without notifying me of any charges. NOT one email with an invoice or charge notification. The account was never used 1 time. They refused to refund me more than 30 days even though they acknowledged the service had never been used!
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! I wish I could give them a negative star!! I was happy with them for a few years, until today (April 2nd) they changed my short-code number without warning (which they promise to never do). So now the keyword Ive been using for my small business--not to mention the thousands of business cards I had printed--is completely useless, and Im losing out on business. So when I asked for a refund the customer service rep refused, and when I got angry and started cursing, they completely BANNED my account. I cant even log in anymore. I was charged $82 on March 26th, but now I cant use their services, and I completely lost all my data that I collected over the years. They have completely screwed me over, and they couldnt care less. Im warning you, avoid this company like your life depends on it!!!

Overall, the SMS works great. Has template option to create messages that are reoccurring, which is nice.Paid for the year in advance. Each month Im $6 charge with no notification of charge. When speaking with customer service, I was told that its for tower use.I would have preferred that charge be included in my annual cost.Customer service did say I should have been informed and given the option of a 1x or monthly billing.Overall, it works as it should.
Just sent my first campaign with Textedy. So I just tried to log in to see what the results are and got a message that my user name and password were incorrect. I checked the user and password and confirmed that I put in the correct user and pw. So I asked for a link to reset my password. No link ever came and it did not appear that the feature to request a password reset even works. Finally, I bought a month to month package and am concerned that if I cannot log back in that Textedly will keep billing me if I cannot get back into the account to pause or cancel it.I have reached out to Textedly via email which is the only way to get support from them apparently. So if someone gets back to me soon and helps solve this problem I will take this review down. But if I do not get this problem changed soon this review remains and I will be looking for another provider.

Excellent customer service, infrastructure is user friendly, great for Mental Health industry (i.e., appt. reminders, collecting payments, sending out birthday shout-outs), and cost effective compared to EHR system text reminders and those are limited to scheduling only. Give them a try!

The customer service provided is not helpful. I am still experiencing issues with my text messages not going through. Moreover, I keep receiving messages stating that my username and password are incorrect. I truly dislike this platform and strongly encourage others not to use it.
Bad overall experience. Dont care to explain after having tried to get texts out successfully for two weeks. In short, im fairly tech savvy and this was a horrible service to get set up and navigate. Customer service was okay at first then fell off. I will be looking for a more user friendly service. They didnt let me get a refund after a week of no success. Contacts arent uploading. Waste of time and money. Ive given it a pretty good attempt.
If I could give a zero I would. HORRIBLE customer service!!!! You cant get anyone on the phone and the number they give you doesnt even work! We have been trying to register our local number for MONTHS and have been using an 855 with little to no responses and have several customers unsubscribing because they think its spam. This is directly affecting our business. They keep telling us that they are working on it that it would take 7 - 14 days. Its been THREE MONTHS and its still not done and if I hadnt continued reaching out it wouldnt even be on their radar. They dont get back to you in a timely manner and when they do they are just regurgitating the same answer but still not helping. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences owning a business. They keep giving us thousands of new message because of the all the issues but wont fix them or help us to. I dont know how this company could get any 4 or 5 star reviews.Also, when they update something you have no idea. I used to always get text messages sent when a customer would send a message. I had NO IDEA that had changed and I had many customers inbox me and had no idea unless I checked my emails every couple of minutes.Dont use them unless you want a bunch of headaches.
Service is terrible, I had issues with text messages not being sent contacted company and they did not seem to care. I asked them to cancel my service immediately which they said I could not do. When my cancellation day arrived, I cancelled and they are still charging me for a random fee. There is no way to contact a real person unless it is for sales, their customer service are AI bots. Also, the way their campaigns are set up is a rip-off, and not user friendly I regret ever using this company for my text needs.

I hate writing bad reviews but this is definitely something that needs to be addressed. I am unsure if there is new management, if there are different people there etc. but the lack of customer service I received over the last several days has been extremely disappointing.Last week I contacted my bank because after I updated my payment method on the Textedly app, I was charged twice for the month of December. So instead of $31, I was charged $62. I contacted my banking institution about the extra charge. I shared with them that the only problem was the double charge (which has happened before with them). My bank credited me back the double charge, so it was reflecting the $31 payment as a one-time charge. The next day I received multiple emails from Textedly crediting me back multiple payments from other cards I used to pay through the year I was with them. I contacted them immediately through the app to address the problem. I explained to them that I did not request multiple refunds I only reached out to Chase to fix the double charge.When I reached out last Thursday to address this I did not hear anything back, so yesterday (Tuesday of the following week) I attempted to log into the app to see if anyone responded so we could clear up the issue. I could not access my account at all. So I reached out by responding to an old email that was sent to me hoping to get a response. I was told due the chargeback I initiated my account was cancelled because I am greatly affecting their business. Im thinking to myself So I wasnt supposed to contact my back when double charges went through??? I replied back sharing again the same details and reinforcing that I only contacted one bank about one charge. Who would go in and randomly send funds back that were paid months prior from different cards and/or banking institution?I then received a message this morning with a blow off message basically stating that they are not willing to look into it and/or reopen my account. I would have never known my account was cancelled if I did not reach out to them. The way to handle this would have been to contact me directly to get clarity before moving forward with anything. I could have sent them screenshots to show my account was overcharged. I see they have a 4.6 rating but the way they handled this situation was extremely unprofessional and was not at all the treatment I received when I started to work with them. I really loved their company, but this has definitely changed my mind.
This service is absolutely horrible. Its a waste time. Login is a trouble shooting nightmare and support is slow to respond. Support cut and paste pre-written response without even answering your questions. The message says theyll respond in a couple hours! Goodluck with that.
Decreased our avg response time from 13 hours (email) to 4 mins (sms). Easy to use templates, personalization and auto replies. Love to see Monday CRM support.

I had an account with Textedly over 2 years ago and cancelled the agreement as I closed the business. They have continued billing me even though I have constantly requested that they stop and refund me all of the money they have unlawfully taken from my account. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER! I am going to file with the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau and the Texas Attorneys General office to get my money back.
I signed up for this service and there were issues with the carriers sending my messages. The whole team worked diligently to correct this and get my account running smoothly. The entire platform is user friendly and intuitive and has been a great way to get information out to my database. The pricing is cut and dry and the best in the industry. If you want to expand your reach and get into text message marketing there is no other company i would recommend!
This company was good for a period of time until they began making changes without any notification. We were under the impression that we were sending out important messages to 1,000 recipients, but none were being delivered. They removed our short code and didnt tell us which kept anyone new from joining our system. This went on for months and we were unaware. Now they wont refund our money, as a non-profit, this is a large expense that we cant afford to lose money on. Terrible customer service, avoid them!

I have been using Textedly since May 2020 and Ive never had a complaint about it! The customer support when I first signed up was great and they got me up and running so easily. Sending messages is also super easy - Im able to do it from my phones browser and my message is sent about 30 seconds later. Ive never had issues with messages not being sent to subscribers. Its a great service - one I plan on continuing to use for my business in the years ahead!

Really poor customer service from day 1. Far too many automated / robot emails that make it difficult to get resolution with a real person. I sent 13 separate emails to the Customer Experience Manager, Help Center, and online chat before getting resolution on one single issue. With so many other companies out there doing SMS marketing, Ill take my business elsewhere.
New update requiring 2 party authentication is terrible making the service a burden to use. plenty other options that dont require it unless you opt in. they say its security but its just so they can charge for additional usersEdit: we have had our 5 digit number for 4 years and recently they took it away and gave us a new 800 number after spending thousands in advertising.They are not customer focused

They dont update you if something changes on your account. Today was shop small Saturday!! I went to do a big sale via text. Nope I need to activate my account even though I did that a while back. I could see Jane in Custom service chat checking my messages she even sent me a email but refused to help with any of my issues. Not being able to send this sale out via text cost me 15k-20k plus. Dont waste your time. Their customer services sucks...
My messages were not being received and I was beginning to get frustrated with the process. Then the IT department determined that the problem was with the 800 number I was assigned. I was assigned a new number and my customer service rep spent a significant amount of time with me over a 24 hour period to set up my account and get my first batch of messages sent and received. Its been smooth sailing since!
Every January, my office send text messages to our clients as a reminder and notify them when our offices are opened and the hours of operation. We used to manually text out our clients using our business cellphone, which became EXTREMELY time consuming (usually took us 4 days to do this). Now that we use Textedly, it is as simple as one click and all our clients get the text message instantly. It is a little bit pricey, but for us, it was worth it.

As I am based out of Canada I did require additional assistance in creating my account, the Textedly team had me set up and ready to go within 30 minutes. We have been using Textedly for about 3 months now. It is very affordable the support staff is very nice and willing to help. We love the new LOOK of the dashboard, but not its functionality. We can appreciate that change always bring about new features, ease, and growth... but it would have been better if it wasnt sprung upon a business unexpectedly, if training on how to use the new dashboard would have been available to those of us who arent techy or are pressed for time (not just an instruction video). We did receive a link that allows us to use the old Textedly format after we asked for help, but how long will that be active? We would love to LOVE the new Textedly Format, we just dont have time to figure it out on our own. Hopefully this helps and that the old format will be available indefinitely, but we know that is wishful thinking.

Terrible customer service! They said deal with you shortly then never got back to me. You also have no power over your account, unless you send someone an email they may or may not respond to. In my case I accidentally signed up for the annual billing on accident. $340 hit my account instead of their monthly charge. They wont get back to me because apparently my time doesnt matter once Ive put money in their pocket.

Easily tag certain groups, pick only certain subscribers, and add / delete as they want. The pricing is great. The website is so very easy to use. My organization is a non-profit that runs workforce education programs and offers food relief services to the underserved population of Long Island, many of whom are solely Spanish-speaking. For us, and many others like us, outreach and communication are a necessity to meet the needs of our community. Textedly has been a fantastic service that has enabled us to more efficiently, and effectively, contact and connect with our clients more. I believe the frequency and capacity with which we are able to contact them have directly improved the participation and interest in the various programs and services we offer.I found the interface very intuitive, and it was very simple to pass the method of use to my other coworkers.Due to a large amount of outreach we do, we found ourselves running out of monthly messages and wanted to upgrade our plan. After some confusion on our part regarding payments, the customer service agent that assisted us was very patient and helped clear the misunderstanding immediately.Overall, our experience with Textedly has been outstanding, and we look forward to continuing to use this program.

Ive been using Textedly for several years now. The are just what my business needed. Any time there is an issue they have always tried to resolve it or explain the problem and the resolutions they are using to fix it. With technology, everything changes often. They have kept up to date and I keep on texting. A few hiccups along the way but always a pleasure to work with.
We really like Textedly to send reminders to our patients. They have a good interface - however, recently they changed it, I assume to update and improve it. Right now, we CANNOT UPLOAD A LIST, which is a VERY valuable feature for us. Support says (they got back to us in a timely manner, good work) they dont have that feature anymore, but will add it in the future. We are using the OLD version (Thank you for giving us access) until the current version can upload a list. Thats why Im giving it 4 stars. The price point is good, the support is good, the product is good. But if they dont work out the list upload, and we cant use the old version (itll happen at some point), well have to look for another program - )-:

In my recent encounter with Texetdly, an SMS-based texting service, I was met with a level of frustration and disappointment that I never anticipated. The level of indifference displayed was astonishing, and it was clear that my concerns were of no significance to them.The issues with Texetdly extended beyond their unresponsive customer service. The service itself was riddled with problems. Messages were frequently delayed or not delivered at all, which is a fundamental failure for an SMS service. It was evident that Texetdly fell short of providing the reliability and functionality that customers expect.But the worst part of my Texetdly experience was their billing practices. I entered my card information with the expectation of monthly charges, only to find out that they had charged me for an entire year. This practice is not only deceptive but also unethical. To make matters worse, disputing these charges was a tedious and frustrating process. And heres the kicker - the dispute negatively impacted my credit score due to Texetdlys billing mishandling. This is inexcusable, and it highlights the complete lack of professionalism and integrity within this company.In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how displeased I am with Texetdly. This company not only lacks the ability to provide reliable and responsive customer service, but they also engage in deceptive billing practices that can negatively impact customers financial well-being. My advice is simple: stay away from Texetdly at all costs. Save yourself from the headache and potential financial fallout associated with their inadequate service. One star is far too generous a rating for a company that demonstrates such incompetence and disregard for its customers.

The customer service is easy to get a hold of via call or text. Rapid response. We are a small nonprofit entity with about 1000 subscribers. I recommend Textedly to my corporate friends. Price cant be beat. No regrets!We are super please with Textedly, this is our second moth of use, we are a small non-profit organization that sends out about one text a week to 1000 members. I am not tech savvy, but the Textedly customer service walked me thru the whole process, step by step. The pricing is flexible and the interface is easy to understand. They vetted the phone numbers as part of their service too. It has really helped us communicate with last minute info. Adding a photo as a JPG or PNG works out very well. The company uses a credit system based on the number of characters you use. Only three credits to send a message with a photo, and type. We have been very pleased with Textedly.

Like so many others, Textedly was great until it wasnt. The industry-wide outage of certain short codes with major carriers means its been 7 weeks since Ive been able to send messages. Ive been disappointed with Textedlys inability to mange the migration from short codes to 10DLC. For literal weeks, I asked every few days for a timeline to migration. Responses were never concrete: next week next few days by the end of the week or even tomorrow. Meanwhile, I paid annually for a service I cant use. It only took a few days to get my application approved for a 10DLC with another texting service, but now I cant get my money back from Textedly. Literally any other company would refund on a prorated schedule. I do not know whats so difficult. I have escalated my complaint and was told Billing would be in touch within minutes or hours. Still waiting...
Textedly is so easy to use! Tons of cool features and I love the reporting. You get great information so you can determine which text messages work the best. We have an ice cream and coffee shop and our customers love getting special deals and offers.

Do not do business with this company. The product does not work. I have been unable to use for months. All I get is excuses from Customer Service. They will not give you a phone number to speak to someone. You have to message them and then in hours they respond very briefly. I am reporting to the BBB and FTC. I bought an annual plan, cannot use the texting service because it will not work, and they refuse to issue a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Placing this review on all media.

Textedly charged my card without any issue, pretended like everything was going to work (since you have to pay to start basically).. but its mostly fake, maybe even a scam... The site is half broken and most features fail. Unfortunate because it has the right feature set, they just dont work. I have been using textedly for a paid text service on mindset since Dec 2021 and love the simplicity of the platform. I schedule my texts ahead of time and like the ability to respond to my text recipients individualls and include links to additional resources. Textedly was easy to learn and the customer service is very supportive.
What ever you do DONT I repeat DONT use this service! I got the service back in October of 2021 and paid $1k for a yearly subscription. Two months later they changed the format of the text and made it look very much like spam text. I then requested to cancel the service and asked for a refund. They denied my refund and I accepted that but still told them to move forward with the cancelation. I recently received another charge of $1k in October of 2022 after I clearly canceled the subscription. I then emailed them letting them know they charged me in error and have to issue a refund. They tell me no I never canceled and I will not be receiving a refund for a service I havent had in over a year. I have email proof with the support that I canceled my subscription and their response was I dont cancel subscriptions. A very shiesty company that thinks they can charge you for the rest of your life apparently for something you had for a total of two months.

Great for scheduling text messages for a later date and time. Nice to see what the text message will look like on the actual phone screen before sending. Wish that they did not deduct the word count for photos. Wish we were able to call customer service rather than just chat.

I have been asking to get a help to upload a subcriber list for few days now. I asked for uploading the request. I called the customer service number but they say it is only for sales. They provided another number which goes to voice mail and request for online support through chat or email.Hopeless customer service. More over they charged me 8% sales tax My state charges only 6.25% as sales tax . It is bogus and fake company .

The service is expensive for what it is, and they have a habit of adding on items afterwards, notifying you through a blog post. Our texts didnt go through, and when we brought this to the attention of the supervisor, Ally, she kept insisting that everything was working fine. Despite repeatedly informing them that the texts were not being delivered—we even tested this on our teams phones with the same result—nothing was resolved.We requested a refund for the remaining part of the year, as we were willing to pay for the six months that it was faulty, but they refused. They wouldnt even listen to our concerns. Be careful if you decide to use this service. I recommend using it on a month-to-month basis so you’re not out any more money than necessary.

I searched for a text service that was affordable, easy to use, mobile friendly for sending texts on the go, etc. and it was incredibly frustrating. But when I found Textedly and did the trial, I was instantly relieved and knew I had found a match. I use Textedly to communicate with a specific population undergoing radical community transformation. I communicate things like construction impacts, community meetings, community-wide events and resources, etc. And with multiple keywords, I can target specific subgroups when needed to ensure the right people are getting the necessary information and those who dont need it, wont. Try it out for yourself - its adaptable to purposes beyond consumer sales & marketing - you wont be disappointed!
