Got negative pressure chamber which does not work. Valves are leaking. Screws are lousy. Doors are leaking. Looks like Quality Control is not there.UPDATE: Returned product with request to refund even with crazy 35% restocking fee. Finally got credit memo instead of cash refund even stated clearly that we are not going to buy from the company who can not understand that negative pressure chamber can not have doors opening in.... Awful product from awful company

I needed quick assistance in generating a quote of a few parts. Austin Ruck started with a very professional and friendly greeting, and moved quickly to ask how he could be of service. I had in mind what I needed from Terra, but I did not know what product would work best for my needs. Austin, helped me narrow down the options and give informed suggestions, which I ended up agreeing with.Austin made the process take less than 10 minutes on something that would have taken me 3 or 4 times longer to narrow down on my own.Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience and I have Austin to thank for that.I will be returning to continue furbishing our cleanroom here at NASA.

We ordered two sets of 12x20ft cleanrooms and put them next to each other to create a bigger clean space. Ive been working with Taso throughout the project and it has been a great and happy experience. He always responds to our emails in the same day even for ones in late hours. We were given very helpful guidance to select the product and clear instructions to set things up. Both orders arrived on time with good quality packaging and protection.

Austin Ruck was very helpful. He is sending me a quote for a humidity module ($1,681) and just a humidity sensor ($20) . Now I just have to decide if I want to attempt a sensor replacement.I ordered a new RH sensor from Austin. The sensor that was delivered looked different than the old sensor. Austin took a picture of a PCB with a new style sensor installed in order for me to figure out the lead orientation for my repair.

Terra has not supported their products. We purchased over $50,000 of individual stainless fan filter units from them. Most if not all of them have FAILED independent HEPA testing. Leaks in the housing, leaks around the filter seal, etc. Bad engineering design with no mechanical way to ensure filter seal.Plain and simple, these do not meet the ISO or Grade classification their website claims. Then good luck getting them to do anything else except send you some silicone caulk and say good luck. Our production has been shut down because of these issues for months. We have called and emailed multiple times. Customer service doesnt seem to think this is urgent enough to answer the phone or call back within 24 hrs...As you can see in the picture below. Terra sent out multiple filters without doing particulate testing to verify integrity. The only testing they do is differential testing, not filter integrity testing. You can see in the picture below when we analyzed the filter media further, there were tears in the media. They did not offer to replace the almost 10 filters we found issues with.... We have been forced to trash the filters and start from scratch with another manufacturer.Bottom line is low quality and bad customer service is what we have experienced. They dont stand behind their products.

Asked about picking up rather than shipping an order, and was told the item I wanted (FFU) had to be assembled (fine) but then had to be shipped by Terra rather than picked up by my preferred carrier because of insurance. Not sure what that means, but would love an explanation as it seems the company is more informative responding to reviews than it is when calling customer service.

We had a great experience purchasing a cleanroom from Terra Universal, especially their customer service. Andre was the sales engineer in charge our cleanroom project. Even though theres a quite delay due to global crisis and COVID situation. He was very patient and helpful in solving all the issues from designing, assembling to the operation. He accommodated a technician to help us walk through the software issues. He normally responded my emails or phone calls within a day. We also purchased a lab oven from Terra and he provided me several options with the best offer as possible. I highly recommend working with him.

I have damaged items that are being reviewed by someone that has not been part of my complete ordering process. I need another unit or a complete refund. Do not work with this company. I wired them money and did not receive anything. No receipt of my money no shipping information and I got a damaged unit in the mail two weeks later.

I worked with Rhey Olmedo for the initial purchase. He required multiple promptings to provide feedback about minor product customization. The drawings provided were helpful. The product was received with loose screws, scratches, and an obvious incorrect drill-hole which had simply been plugged with a bright red plastic plug. The air-tight seals on the doors of the unit were not functioning, and Loren McAdoo is working with me to get this issue fixed. Despite multiple communications I received the incorrect number of replacement parts, which were incorrectly milled. Still working with the company to resolve.Updated: appropriate replacement parts are not available. Informed to make do with almost-correct parts.

We received recently from Terra Universal ceiling panels, lamp fixtures and FFU’s for a product we manufacture and one of the FFU was damaged by the shipping company. Eduardo Cordova, customer service representative did an excellent job resolving the issue having a replacement sent out within a few days. Unfortunately, the replacement was also damaged by the shipper. Upon hearing this Eduardo arranged for another replacement but this time decided a different shipper would be used. I had to contact Terra regarding a stainless steel pass-through that was purchased many years ago as several of the screws that hold the handles to the doors had fallen out / gotten lost and the handles were hanging on by a thread. I received a same-day reply to my e-mail request from Mitch Ealy, one of their fine customer service reps, who requested additional information regarding the pass-through. I provided this information along with some pictures on a Friday afternoon - the following Monday morning, I found a package on my desk containing the replacement screws free of charge! We bought 18 Fan Filter Units for our laboratories from Terra Universal. We had an issue where when the power fluttered during a storm all of these shut off and stopped filtering, and didnt come back on when power returned. We made them aware of the issue two months ago and asked for a way to resolve this, some way to allow us to tell the fans to come back on when power goes out and returns. The first time we werent using the labs yet. This time we were in full production and we have lost over $20,000 in product due to contamination from the event. Their products are ok quality but their customer service and tech support communicate poorly, if at all, and we would not choose to work with them ever again.

We are off to a very rough start... I asked for 2 quotes to run different costing options but only received one. When I asked for a second quote they revised the first one nullify that quote. I ended up choosing the first quoted option but the quote was no longer valid and in less than a 24 hour period the prices rose 5% on the parts now that I want to go with that option.I will hold final judgement about Terra Universal depending on ability to achieve quoted delivery time and condition of the parts I ordered.I had the pleasure of working with Monica Perez on this.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Update: 6/13/22Its been about 9 weeks and I havent received my order. The original estimate was 3-4 weeks for delivery. After 4 weeks, and my original delivery date was missed, I reached out and they said they never started my order and it would be another 3-4 weeks. I have reached out again last week and havent received any further updates. They are quick to take your money and try and up-sale there FasTrak Service to guarantee a ship date. At this point I feel helpless and out my money while I keep my fingers crossed that one day my order will arrive.

I have had a mixed experience. The company and products seem decent enough, but there is something seriously wrong with operations or quality control. The $50k cleanroom we ordered was shipped in a different configuration than two of the customer service representatives described in the instructions. Our buying decision was based on the ease to assemble the product and expected end quality. They are not very helpful resolving my problem and we are now going to spend more time and money to do their job. We are a small company and being offline for an extended time makes a big impact to the bottom line. Might have to go back to their competitor next time. We also learned that we are not the only ones with this problem. It is a very small world Terra. I hope you can pull it back together.

If I could score zero stars I would, horrible communication from the start, when I tried to speak about my issue with a manager the desk receptionist fielded my call to the sales rep, never spoke to the manager. My equipment arrived not shipped on a pallet and damaged, took over 3 weeks to complete the purchase and now at 5 weeks still no resolution to the damaged equipment. This company does not care about their customer experience. Lousy at best, will never use this company again nor would I ever suggest it to anyone in my industry.

Saying it lightly, this was worst experience we have ever had with vendor. Im not even sure the experience we had with Terra Universal would even measure up to the one star review. They ask for payment up front and then prior to shipping without even providing a status of the finished product. They consistently miss ship dates on critical items. They do a horrible job communicating the status of their orders and are constantly late with no excuse. They dont return calls even after they have your money very readily. You should be desperate if you give these people money. Totally unreliable and disappointing. I never feel compelled to publically place bad feedback on anyone except in this situation. They are that difficult to work with. We have yet to receive our late order and are extremely concerned the item will not meet spec once we have paid for 75% of it.

We have bought several components from them in the last couple of years and the turnaround on supplying quotes and delivering equipment has been great, and never became the rate limiting step over several different and complex projects. I am a current PhD candidate in a new lab at Lehigh University that is constantly building things. Needless to say we have come across countless sales engineers and have had many bad experiences. Terra Universal is one of my favorite companies I have come across. Ive met three people in particular that are absolute gems:John Briggs was a huge help to one of our undergraduate students (which can be a challenge in itself) and was very knowledgeable about the options available to us for inert glove boxes. He also quoted our system very quickly and even re-quoted in just as short a time.Miriam Magaña probably received the brunt of my live chat bugging and was able to stay on top of multiple questions, firing answers right back as I typed them. She was also extremely kind which is always welcome.This can also be said of my latest live chat experience with Chris Taylor who was able to wrap up the remaining round of questions we had with just as much ease as his co-workers. Attempted to buy a FFU from terra to my Residential home, just to find out they ship buy freight for Quality Assurances. Upset about me not being able to receive my product I replied to the email stating how I wasnt aware of this and needed to know what to do now. I was promptly emailed by Ryan Purisima, engineer and sales rep. Who wanted to make this right, giving me his number and being asked to call him. We then talked about possible shipping solutions and even called contacts of his to get something set up via padded ground van.In the end it was too much money for me to go that route but I was in complete understanding of their business/shipping. So even though Im looking into alternatives to get a FFU, the response time and amount of communication I received, goes a long way in terms of business.Would recommend buying from if you have means to receive freight.

I am a representative from HP Incorporated and work from our Corvallis Oregon site. I have had no luck getting a competitive company to respond to my calls when looking for a 2 step platform product in order for operators to use to load new tool in our clean room. I tried for 2 weeks. Today, my Engineer discovered a product through Terra Universal Inc. that better met our standards but we needed alterations on measurements of step height, width, depth and railing. Much to my surprise, when I called the number listed on line, a very kind sounding, English speaking operator answered and quickly transferred me to a young man named Ernest Miranda who answered immediately, confirmed that my alterations would be simple, and sent me an email quote with all of the needed alterations included by lunch time the very same day! Time is critical to get this equipment as the new tool will be released to production soon. Ernest was very accommodating, answered ALL of my questions and repeated back to me all alterations to verify his information was correct before he got with his Engineers. I also appreciated that he called me back once to let me know about OSHA standards for railing height so we would be sure to be in safety standard conformance with OSHA. This probably cut out complications for us later. Thanks again Ernie! We will certainly look forward to more business with your company because of your customer service skills!
