My experience with Ryan Banks was excellent. He was on time and very professional. He gave me an overview and then serviced my home paying attention to details in the front and back. He then discussed his finding with me. Ryan answered all my questions very adequately and with ease. I would say he is a great asset to your company.

I have been Bless to encounter meeting Ryan Banks from Terminix. He so Professional and very inspiring to have in your home. Which now days its not so comfortable or relaxing due to the way a lot of people are. This young is very very nice.And you can see that he has a very good Heart. Just a great job. Announced presence so I had time to bring my small dog inside. Cleaned out all the spider webs and sprayed. I have large trees in the front of my house and the spider webs are not stop. Bamboo in the back so they are there as well. I have to remove webs between treatment but they will be gone for a while I am sure. Ryan always does a great job. I appreciate the text to schedule a fews days before the visit as well. Great job.

Weve been customers for about 2 years now. Service has been great for us. I have never felt like any technician was trying to sell us on a service we didnt need. When we requested the additional tick service, they sent a tech to make sure we needed it and this evaluation appointment didnt cost us anything. The services they provide for sure make a huge difference for us. We have an empty acre lot next to us with 6ft tall weeds. This field is riddled with fleas and ticks. Before we hired Terminix, our little russell terrier was always struggling with flea bites and I had to remove quite a few ticks off of his nose and belly. Got a few ticks out of myself and my kids once too. Once Frankie started doing the normal service and the additional tick service, we havent had any ticks on us for over 7 months and my dog has been flea free.Our technician Frankie is always great to deal with. Frankie keeps clear and transparent communication with us leading up to our appointments. If traffic is ever a problem, he always messages and calls to update me. Hes always polite, listens when we have questions and does his best to accommodate the odd requests we sometimes give him. Terminix is good because they have hired guys like Frankie. Frankie, youre awesome!

Ezequiel is really great. He is communicative and on time and handles our home with care. He has dramatically reduce our mosquito and rodent presence. He also keeps an eye out for signs of other pests, like termites, and makes recommendations on how to keep our home safe and clean. I highly recommend Ezequiel.

I cancelled after being a customer of 3 years. I had a terrible ant infestation that came on very quickly, the ants were migrating all over the house and even made their way into the refrigerator and freezer. I called for service but they could not come out until the next week. We could not wait- we had no choice but to take care of it ourself.The tech Philip was always so nice and did a great job.People on the phone so rude and didn’t care.

Unfortunately our home has termites! We called a company we had used for 20 years and were disappointed with the lack of attention to detail. In frustration I called Terminix for a second opinion. The field inspector Kyle Alvarado was absolutely outstanding.He was very thorough in his inspection, offered options for treatment of the problems and was an effective communicator. I was scammed by this service provider. An inspector who came out and didn’t even inspect and instead made a guess of what type of insect may be contaminating our home - without so much as a look! He advised a series of two treatments which I agreed to and he then tried to convince me I needed an annual plan, to which I explained I already had an existing contract with another provider. After continuing to try and sell sell sell, I clearly stated I did not want to be signed up for a contract.He then took payment for the two treatments and left, assuring me a technician would be calling to schedule the appointments.The next day I received a contract in my email from Terminix that charged me over $500 for an annual subscription and many other add ons, NONE of which I agreed too. He clearly lied to me and then still signed me up for the plan I didn’t ask for.I’ve spent days trying to resolve this with Terminix and customer service with no one claiming responsibility or returning my calls to reconcile the situation.I’m astounded that such an established and seemingly reputable company would condone or allow such scamming tactics and unethical behavior. A complete scam.

I purchased treatment for termites and repairs on June 16, 2022. The tech for the repairs came around 9:00 took lunch at 11:00 and left at 3:45. Stated he completed the work, left at 5:45 and did not. Between June 20, 2022 to July 7, 2022, I have had numerous calls to Terminix help line, sales rep, regional manager and district manager to no avail. The service for both were over $5,000. They charged my card but never finished the repairs on the house. I am now trying to dispute the charge for the repairs since the work is not completed. Also the wood and equipment is here as if they are coming back. Three weeks with no results.UPDATE: On July 9, 2022, after disputing the payment, threatening a lawsuit, posting pictures, and texting the regional manager, repairs were completed. It is sad that I had to go to such extremes to receive service that I had paid for three weeks prior. I am glad this situation is over.

This is the worst run company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. You are better off supporting your local pest control companies than pumping any more money into this disaster. I was told one price by a technician who came to quote the job, then my property was serviced by a completely different technician (who did not even have the original quote to understand the scope of the job) and I was told the job was over $400 less to complete. Less money sounds great right? But no, Terminix had already charged my card for the higher amount and has refused to connect me with a manager to get my money back for the lower rate. I have wasted countless hours on their hotline to escalate this claim with zero success. I hope managers, Martin Macias and Buddy Jones, read this review and call me back to resolve this problem. Whether they get back to me or not, it is safe to say I would rather crawl a mile through broken glass, than ever deal with this company again. Do not give this company a single dime.

Terrible customer service and expensive. Called them to come out and handle a gopher problem. They charged $600 to place three of these gopher traps which you can buy on Amazon for $24. After placing the traps they never bothered coming back to check on them. Had to call them repeatedly and finally got them to come check on the traps after 4 weeks had passed by with no results. Would not recommend. Still have the gopher destroying the lawn and out $600.

The Terminix crew out of Gardena was doing work on a neighboring building in Santa Monica, across the alley from my building and paid parking spot. Terminixs spray blanketed all of our cars and ruined my $30 wash I got the day before. I was referred by their customer support to Glenn Foster at the Gardena branch to talk about it. He said it was set for the 16 and someone would call to confirm the day before. No one called to confirm, I called the main Terminix number and they said I wasnt scheduled for today and was actually scheduled for late November. The fumigation company ended up showing up but could not complete the work because the neighbor release had never been obtained by Terminix. Now it is becoming a nightmare to get my $3000 refunded. Be very very cautious when dealing with this company of unprofessional people. They are so quick to promise a smooth hassle free service and once they take your money all that goes out the window. The customer support is no help and they wont allow you to speak directly with the branch that is supposed to release the refund. I cant believe a company is allowed to operate like this.

I was suppose to have someone come out, but I had canceled because I had to work and plus I like to be present when they come. For some reason the tech showed up and my mom stopped him before he started spraying. The tech called it in as if he serviced my house and then tried to charge me for service that wasnt done. Im still going back and forth with them about this matter. I immediately spoke with a manager and he stated I see you did cancel. He said, dont worry about it Ill take care of it and when youre ready for us to come out let us know. But Ive been getting calls after calls because the tech lied and said an elderly woman open the gate for him so he could spray which wasnt the case. So this is an ongoing issue for the last year. Ridiculous. So thats why Im giving them a very low rating. I will never use there service again, from management who dropped the ball and didnt pass the information when I called him immediately the next day. Then the tech who lied on my mom stating she opened the gate so he could spray. Women beware all companies, because you never know who will try to take advantage of you because youre a woman.

First the good--they were very responsive. We called on a Tuesday; they inspected Wednesday; and exterminated on Friday. Now the bad--the damage to my home was unexpected. Wood dressers warped; TV remotes fried; two bathroom vents fried; and the seal on my front door window broke. I wish we were warned in advance--we would have removed some of the electronics, at least. We were also told not to open windows after extermination until the inside temp declined to 75 degrees (from over 140), but the house did not cool down, and the heat build-up caused the smoke/heat detectors to go off at midnight and 1 AM, until in desperation, we opened the windows. This could have been avoided with better advice.

The scheduling is extremely unresponsive. No followup. I had two people out on the same day last week. RickyOliver Barbee coming for termite reinspection, was very knowledgeable, patient, thorough - listened to my suggestions and concerns, answered all my questions, was polite and friendly, and made me feel secure that my house was protected.Abner, who was coming for the third time to abate my ant infestation was argumentative, impatient, only wanted to prove that he was right, told me that it was a termite problem rather than ants, until I found the photo to show him that was ants, and generally gave me a hard time. I asked if they might be coming from under the house, and he said absolutely not. I showed him where I thought the ants might be coming from under the house. It turns out he hadnt treated there. This time he did, and the ant problem seems to have cleared up, although its hard to be sure, because Im still keeping the area clean and free from drips.

However, the spray Terminix has applied around the perimeter of our house to kill ants over the years has destroyed and discolored the stucco. Beware. Do not let Terminix apply their product to your walls if you want to avoid spending thousands in stucco repair. Moreover, when I called to tell Terminix, I got nothing more from the rep than an Im sorry to hear that. Very very disappointed.

Only use the mosquito service if you want MORE mosquitos! I am shocked by how ineffective this service is. Weve had a mosquito problem the last few weeks, so we booked Terminix to spray and remove them, and in the 3 days since our service, the amount of mosquitos has tripled. We have visiting relatives who are COVERED in bites (see images) after sitting outside for only an hour. I am speaking with customer service to get this rectified, we definitely dont want another service because we dont want more mosquitos. BEWARE!EDIT:We were supposed to receive a phone call from the local branch, I was told someone called us on September 12th at 12:18pm. I have zero incoming calls on that day. The woman kept saying its in the notes so.... - this company simply does not care and support staff is rude and poorly trained.

He told us that we could back out at any time and that it wasnt binding. Once we received the document we saw we only had a couple of days to terminate the contract which of course he did not mention. We were able to cancel the contract but the guy kept harassing us even 5 months after we told him we werent going to proceed with Terminix. Were receiving creepy text messages claiming hes going to come to my house and trying to scare me on how bad my house is. Terminix needs to vet their workers better and stop teaching scare tactics.

He serviced outside and did nothing inside, and asked the 2nd specialty tech to finish his job because he had to leave. He had other customers waiting even thou we were still in our window. Terminix gave me the run around for the handling of our request for a Cockroach Extermination treatment. We first requested an inspection for our home in an apartment on September 28th at 7:30 am. We was advised an inspector would be out on that Friday September the 30th to check what kind of Cockroach is at the property. We then received a text message asking for pictures of the Cockroach and was advised that he wouldnt need to come out. The inspector came out anyway, told use we had to pay $300 upfront for the technician to come next week and spray which is today. We was short about $100 of the $300. He advised us to call him back when able to make payment and he would send us the e-sign document for the technician come out still on Saturday October 8th. He also advised we need to clear everything out the kitchen before today so they can spray. We moved everything from the kitchen and that was not an easy feat! We was expecting follow up from Terminix about the e-sign document and we never received an email. Two customer service agents told us multiple times they sent the e-sign document which was not correct. I stay on top of my emails, both inbox and spam folder and no email has been made. We then call early this morning twice to see what the status was for a technician to spray today and the first customer service rep laughed at my mom after she stated she called the inspector and ask how much was we quoted for the job. She was of no help and stated we would get a call back in an 1 hour. I had to call them after 65 minutes of no follow up and a nice rep told me she completely understood my frustration and would have the inspector call us today. She told us they had technicians that would be available to spray today at 3-5pm for the inconvenience of this whole mishap of a situation. The inspector finally after 4 calls made directly to him, call us and told us he can stop by and have the e-sign document done today with service rendered on Monday, which is completely unacceptable. We told the customer service representative that we work Monday from home and that spraying Monday would not work. The inspector told us he would check with his manager and after 45 minutes he said no we couldnt spray today. This was a total waste of time and effort to remove Cockroaches. The inspector ignored multiple calls we made to him to pay for the treatment when he said to call him! There was no communication made to ensure a technician can come service and spray our home. This is not how you treat a 1st time customer who is needing and willing to pay for your services. From the inspector specifically to the 2 first customer service reps everyone dropped the ball, and I will be looking else where for an exterminator.

California has termites, its the perfect weather for them. We had a treatment done by another company, orange oil, but were not convinced it was 100% effective. We opted this time for the Heat Treatment, no chemicals, just heat, had heard different temperatures around 150 degrees for a few hours. It was our first time doing something similar to tenting, there was no tent but were attaching a curtain around the house. Prep was needed, remove combustibles, aerosols, oil painting, vinyl records, candles, ammunition., etc.. theres a list of items to remove that may be dangerous, become damaged or melted. We removed & boxed items and/or taken outside, refrigerated some alcohol, boxed candles, took wine outside (so it wouldnt pop open), plants were taken outside, etc.. Prepared according to the list. Here is what I did and found: a candle tin was left inside, only slightly melted. Boxed candles did not melt, maybe they were soft, but no issues leaving them boxed and inside. A pkg of M&Ms were left inside a drawer, melted inside but hard shell didnt melt. Candles left drawers were ok, the votive ones that are sometimes in plastic wrap. Soy candles probably would have melted, but I didnt have any. Personally I packed in a insulated box, vanilla & other extracts and other food gel ingredients I would not want spoiled with the heat. They did thermal wrap TVs and computers, no issues with anything as of now, almost a month later. Had to wait an hour after they were done to come in, our thermostat read 99 degrees, it was a cool night and we have a radiant barrier in the attic so it was warm for about a day or two. Temperature came down slowly, we had doors and some windows open to help cool it down. It is dry heat so my skin was dryer than a regular winter.Terminix also did eve replacement on damaged eves just a week before, we paid to also have all the eves repainted in white. When removing the curtain around the house for the heat treatment, there were some spots damaged of small areas by them yanking off the clamps. The warranty dept came out, we were supposed to get a call to have the same company come out the repair/repaint, but no call yet. They had called for a survey a week later, I told them I had informed Brandon the inspector, the minute it happened and had sent him a photo of the damage. I had to call again because no one had called back. Someone finally came, I got a call that theyd be calling me to fix it, that was on 2/9, its the 14th today. I will be calling them again. One star for follow thru from the company. Upsetting was the receptionist Cheyanne(?), the warranty inspector said they do not outsource labor, but the receptionist said they did. The company that did the eve work had another name, the company that did the heat treatment had no name on their clothing. The warranty inspector said they are under one umbrella of Terminix. Wish rating could be itemized, 5 stars for on-time, 5 stars for most of the peoples professionalism, follow through 1 star.We got the extended warranty, very affordable, so hopefully it will be years before we need it again and know what to expect and how to prepare.

With demands of time, I will just add that our service person was a cut above most service persons. But, then, most service people are not met at our front porch with a complaint. That is, his telephonic message was just inaudible, the verbiage garbled. I played it over and over, at least 5 times, able to discern that he was calling for Terminix. (Based on our history, I inferred that he was announcing his service appointment that we have each quarter.) Anyhow, I felt the need to communicate to him my need for phone message clarity. Garbled would not do. I am glad to report that he was receptive, not at all defensive, with my assertion. Frankly, he saved our Terminix relationship. (As it happens, in the same week, two different fellows on two different evenings came to our door selling the same service for half the price -- or so they said.) Had our Terminix service provider been anything but honestly cordial and receptive to my complaint, we would be trying out a new service.This may seem a minor moment to you people, but it looms significant for me, especially since we seem to keep getting new service providers. Ive had horrible customer service so far.Once my work order was completed, I find out that Im being charged more than the agreed amount that I have in my contract. Reached out to customer service for clarity and got no response but an expected call back from the branch manager (within 1-2 days). 10 days later and still no call back or response.Reached out to the sales rep that initially gave me the quote and contract that I signed and was supposed to be looking into my account. A week later and I still havent heard back.From my personal experience, not a pest control provider I would recommend.

Experience from beginning to end was very professional, informative and prompt. I received email updates on the techs arrival with information of his name and picture which I absolutely love as it’s a safe secure way to ID the person arriving to your residence. Updates on service provided were also sent to my email. The Tech was very nice and professional. He provide details on what he was going to do, what he did and what he found needed to be done. I retained their services for a year with quarterly visits due to the ant, spider and mosquito issues we have in our area. After the first visit we all noticed a dramatic change. I highly recommend this service.

I delivered in person, a notice of cancellation form to the Terminix office in Santa Fe Springs. I handed the form to Robert Simmons.He said he was the sales manager. I explained I was not happy with the service and I am cancelling my subscription. It had only been a day and a half since I signed up for the subscription. I expect my agreement to be cancelled but Terminix has already attempted to take $139 out of my bank account. I have done my due diligence, I expect Terminix to do the same. If not then I will take further action against Terminix. I am disappointed with every aspect of dealing with Terminix. I compliment companies when it is earned and write honest negative reviews when it is earned as well. They earned this negative review.

The service professional Jose who has been coming to out house for over a year has always done a great job. He always calls ahead of time to let us know what day and time he will visit. This is important to us because we have a small dog so we keep it inside because 1)so she doesnt bother Jose when he is working and 2)she doesnt sneak out an open side door when Jose is working.We are thankful for Joses professionalism and the great job he does for us.

I have the pest control service. They come out to spray every 3 months. My appointment was missed,no show no call. I finally called back and I was rescheduled, I was given a 50.00 discount for the missed appointment but I never received it I was billed for the full service fee. And when I called about the 50.00 that they were suppose to deduct from the quarterly bill it was stated to me that the 50.00 discount was never put in the system by the tech that gave me the discount. So I mentioned it to another tech tht came out to spray and he said to send a picture of the paperwork that included the discount so I did sent him all information and he never responded back to me just ignored my picture message to him and voicemail. So Im still waiting on the 50.00 refund. And also I had a exterminating tent put over my house and I paid of an extra year. And now I cancelled that and Im still waiting for my refund of 203.00. So I noticed there nice and cooperative in the beginning but as you continue there services there no return calls if your having a problem and if you call customer service your to waste even more time. So Im very displeased with there service right now and I wouldnt recommend anyone to them
