Great place. His previous location was on Colorado for over 35 years and his experience shows! My screen had to be replaced but he went the extra mile and cleaned the fans inside (he showed me a before and after picture: the before of the fans was scary) so its good I brought it in as he took care of future problems. Now my computer woks better than ever and is clean. Also it was fixed really quickly!

All star service!!! My computer has been crashing for awhile and suffered a catastrophic crash yesterday night. Brought it in today and got it back at the end of the day. Laptop screen started flickering with horizontal lines. Found technoland on google today and came in, talked to Steve who was great and explained everything he thought was wrong and gave an estimate and to expect it to take 3 days for the new screen to arrive if that was the problem. 2.5 hours later I get a call that he managed to save the screen and its just a wire. Picked up my laptop 3 hours after dropping it off and $100 less than what I thought it would cost. He even showed pictures of what was wrong inside and how my laptop looked as he worked on it. Highly recommend, super fast, honest, and transparent, will definitely return with any problems I have in the future

Steve is great! Very quick turnaround on both my printer and laptop. He actually told me how to replace the printhead on the printer myself so that I didnt have to pay him to do it.My laptop was making horrible noises ever since I got it. He replaced the fans, and now its quietly humming.Will definitely return to Technoland! We need more honest, old-school technicians like Steve!

He did me and my son an honest deal, For Real!I had a beat up MS surface 3 that I needed to get fixed for my personal/professional use and mainly for my sons educational needs. Screen was non functional and I brought it in for Technoland to diagnose. As a professional graphic designer(since 2003) Ive found it beneficial for my practice to switch from Mac to PC. These days everything you can do on a mac you can on PC for half the price in hardware. Turned out the price for repair was more then it was worth for the laptop. In lieu of repair Steve hooked me up with a wonderful new laptop. A modest model but with a good custom package that suits my needs for design with the latest software and enough for even some gaming for half the price of what it would cost to repair!Service was impeccable and fast! I now have a go to spot for my computer needs. 10/10 will definitely come back and recommend to friends.Also very happy to support a local business and the local community over getting peeled by a big box store or sending my hardware to the manufacturer for over priced and sub par product!

My laptop used for business and personal would not start. Steve got it up and running and also found it had a broken fan and wifi card. He not only fixed the found problems but offered full upgrades of the OS and and hard drive. A lot of work for anyone.Steve handled all with unheard of expertise and did it faster than i could imagine. Last year when my iMac died I took it to Steve at Technoland. He fixed it quickly and for a good price, and it is still working great. So last week, when another of my electronic devices needed repair, I went back to Steve. Once again, he did the job quickly and for a good price, and the device is working better than before. Your device will be in good hands.I came in to get an additional hard drive installed, Steve got it done super quick and with an affordable price. He not only helped me on the fan, but also problem solved some errors for me.My desktop always have an cpu fan error but I never give it much thought. It turns out the person who assembled my desktop for me made careless error and plugged the fan into the wrong place. On top of that, they installed my c drive into the wrong place, so now I have to spend additional money to fix it. It wasnt a cheap assembled too! I should have come here in the first place.Steve offered some solutions, he was really patient and nice. Explained the possible issues that not fixing it may cause, but never pressured me into anything. Will be coming back in a few days to redo the wrongs other people did on my desktop!

My laptop keyboard was getting stuck on certain keys and after doing my own remote HP website tests it was certain that the keyboard had issues. The challenge for me was to find the right person since I am very sensitive when it comes to repairs of any type of electronic equipment. The HP Website had some suggestions of repair shops in my area, but they were mostly franchise type outfits, which I did not care much. I found Steve at TechnoLand on Yelp and I was somewhat happier knowing that he was licensed and certified. So, I show up at the store and while checking the keyboard issue we also recognized that my 1 TB SSD hard drive was almost full and was going to give me a headache sooner or later. I was so nervous knowing that I had complicated cloud drives as back up and that restoring the data mirroring my laptop setup would be a challenge unless the right person works on it … I needed someone to really care and take ownership of the challenge. Long story short, Steve not only explained every step of the way of what he was doing but also, why he was taking the precautions in backing up my data in multiple locations. He not only completed the job in a matter of 48 hours but took the time to set up the new hard discs mirroring what I had before. This was a complicated process. I have found a new friend 😊 … You will not be disappointed … I am so thankful for his precision but more so because he took ownership of the work as if it was his own equipment. The fan on my laptop stopped working on a Sunday and i needed my computer working by Monday, early afternoon. I brought in my computer first Monday morning and within 2 hours, Steve had fixed it. My Asus laptop was on life support when I brought in to Steve last Friday. So many things were going wrong with it, including the touchscreen which had split apart (admittedly, due to me dropping it). By the next morning, I was able to pick up my laptop which Steve had working better than when I first bought it.Almost 99% of my data had been saved, which was most important to me.Im not a computer expert but Steve was able to explain to me in easy to understand terms about what the issues were, how he resolved them and how to operate my PC to minimize issues in the future. Excellent service ! Steve did an Amazing job fixing my P.C. I use it for 3-D computer modeling and rendering. It was crashing a lot. He quickly Diagnosed the problem, I had a faulty Graphics Card. He installed one of his own Graphics Cards in my machine so I could keep working while I was waiting for my replacement card to arrive.He installed the new card and and cleaned up my files and up dated all the drivers for Me in just a few hours.Steve explained everything and walked my thru the issues and the fix. I plugged my fiances Macbook charger into my Lenovo Ideapad because it had a USB-C port so I thought it was nbd, but then it fried my battery. Steve made the repair easy. Sure it was an expensive lesson for a stupid mistake, but $200 and Steves words of wisdom (Everything will break eventually, and everything can be fixed. Just be grateful that it is not you, that broke.) were well worth it. I will return to Technoland for all my future techno needs.

Everything about my visit and the service here was great. The manager who handled my laptop repair was extremely knowledgeable. After two other computer repair shops in Glendale couldnt fix my problem, this one was my last hope - turns out I came to the right place. Steve quickly identified the reason why my PC was not turning on and handled the complex repair on the same day. I am normally skeptical of computer repair shops, like i am of car shops. Given the highly specialized subject matter, I have to trust that the information they are giving me is honest.With that caveat, I got good vibes from this shop. Steve is knowledgeable and fast. I brought in a computers worth of components to trouble shoot a build i couldnt get to turn on. Steve explained what he did and gave me some recommendations in terms on how to proceed in my continued quest to build a computer with parts that work ( Steve found conclusively that the build had bad components that would need to be replaced/returned).Tldr; Steve gave me the vibes of a trust worthy technician, with extensive knowledge of his craft.

My MacBook pro kept shutting down and then would not turn on after the latest update. I freaked out as it is how I work. I looked around and came across Technoland. It was relatively close to me and I dropped my computer off. THE SAME DAY- Steve repaired, cleaned and updated my laptop all for less than a third of the price of what Apple was going to do it for with great customer service. I usually dont write a review unless it is above and beyond. This felt above and beyond as I picked up my computer- Steve showed me photos of every step of what he had done and things that he did that was not part of the bill but just needed to be done. My computer cpu has been overheating (90C on idle) and it was a really big problem that I was unable to fix. I came to this guy and he immediately helped. I left the computer at ~10am today and I came back at 4pm today and it was back to normal, plus, he cleaned the fans and updated everything. It wasnt even ridiculously expensive, and he got the job done fast. I highly recommend this if you need your computer back fast and need it handled with expert care.

If you are having a break down because your hard drive just crashed- I know how you feel! Take a deep breath and contact this man! His prices are extremely fair. He gave me a higher estimate when I called in to see his rates and when I got there he takes a $50 deposit to see if he can fix your hard drive, which goes back into the cost of extracting your files. He calls you the next day to let you know if he can do and then gives you the estimate. My estimate was $200 cheaper than when I called to ask what his prices were because he said he will base his cost and how hard the work is to get your files! I am extremely pleased and he saved me a lot of stress and sanity!

I took it in to the Apple store and they told me “Yeah; the charger isn’t registering so we have to ship it off to replace all 4 churching ports AND THE MOTHERBOARD bc they are CONNECTED. That will be $678 and take 3 weeks.”I decided that was insane and took it to Steve.The solution:Steve was able to fix just the charging ports at a fraction of the cost and in a timeframe of only a day and a half.
