Rarely in todays world do I walk into a business and am blown away by the service. Jonathan at Tech 2U was awesome. My laptop [spinner] drive crashed- so we did a upgrade to a 1 TB SSD, then we upgraded the RAM. I also added a few monitors to mirror my home system. Screaming fast system and triple monitors on the go! Solid company. Solid tech. Thank you Jonathan!

My computer crashed. I live in Alaska and did not have anyone I could take it to I felt I could trust. I was heading to CA for a visit with family. I have been a RAD radio listener for over 20 years, I trust their list of RADvertisers. I took the computer to Jonathan at Tech 2U. Super friendly! Had such a simple problem (laptop battery needed to drain), that they didnt even charge me. My family has had good experiences with them in the past as well, when a desktop of ours got bricked after accessing the bios. Overall great, skilled service and kind people.

Quicker and friendlier service than I could have expected anywhere else. At no point did I feel like I was being upsold on service or replacements. My concerns were taken seriously and tech Jonathan went above and beyond with cleaning my PC and introducing cable management where previously my PC was an incredible mess. Everything runs like a dream now and I will come back if anything ever goes amiss again.

My laptop screen was smashed and wasnt getting a signal from external monitor so Jonathan removed the hard drive and was able to use an enclosure allowing me to plug the hard drive into another computer and access my files. He did a good job.

Jonathan did an excellent job with my PC. Im very nervous to trust anyone with it but he did great! He was able to name different price points for different repairs because I couldnt afford to get everything fixed. He helped me find the best repairs for the budget I had and now my PC is running incredibly well! If youre wondering, he replaced my hard drive, repaired my sagging GPU, and replaced two of my case fans. He also gave the entire thing a very thorough dusting and repaired the panel on the side of my case! Very happy

They tried to fix my computer problem, but after one month, they told me it needed a motherboard and it cost $425, which I didnt accept because I could get a new one for around $800 to $900. They asked me for $50 for that checkup, and I told them I couldnt pay anything when you didnt fix the problem. then they waved it, and I got my computer without paying anything.

I appreciate the quality of the repair. My laptop is working great now. But I was originally advised the repair will be done in 1 week or less. This was a very time sensitive repair, as I explained at the drop off, due to my moving out of state. If I had known the repair would take more than one week in advance, I would have worked with a different company. Im disappointed since the repair took so long, I had to pay an additional $100 to have the repaired laptop shipped to me (after my move), in addition to the expedited estimated service fee.

Diagnosed my laptop in a few days even though they were clearly very busy. They were straight forward with the repair costs & there was no sales pressure. I opted to get a new laptop instead of the repairs so I wasnt even charged for their services which surprised me. They were very nice on the phone & in person. Would definitely recommend them.

Replaced a laptop battery. Inspected the computer to ensure the battery was the issue (this took all of 10 min) then ordered the battery. Battery arrived in less than a week. Replacement took less than half an hour. Offer was made to run a full charge-discharge-charge test which I would have taken advantage of if I didnt need to use the computer that day. Customer service and expertise were excellent!

New pc setup and info transfer.Came to home right on time, explained procedure. Shortly realized too much data to do at home. Took to shop, found new unit had issue (still under warranty), had them speak directly w dell. I had a trip in the middle of all this and tech2U more than happy to hold until I returned the following week. Problem corrected, returned to me, Will, (tech from Rocklin, CA store), did final adjustments and setting corrections and couldnt have been more helpful. Very willing to answer all my geek filled questions on what was done. Highly recommend Tech2u!

My older (8 years?) PC tower was not staying ON... Tech2U figured out it was the watercoolant being dried out, and replaced the heatsink and added fans. Jonathon was very helpful. He took time to explain what he did & why. Heres the situation: The power-on switch on my Dell laptop was broken. Jthon said that he could not get parts, so he could not help me. He offered to sell me an a new computer for ~$800. As a result, I found a guy who simply removed the switch from the top-cover. I am now able to power up my laptop by pressing the power-on switch directly on the mother-board. = Problem solved.

Took my computer in after troubleshooting basic power issues myself. I swapped the power supply after waiting 24 hours after a power surge occurred and I suspected it ruined my power supply or mother board. Since I didnt have any more parts on hand, I figured it would be best to have someone diagnose it first. Tech2U said that a couple day later the computer was turning on with no noticeable issues. Figuring the old power supply was possibly still ok, I asked them to place it back in. They did and realized the old power supply was indeed bad, so they placed my new power supply back in my computer. This entire ordeal costed me absolutely NOTHING because the stuck to their free diagnostics fee and didnt charge me to mess around and swap the power supply. Days later the computer is still running without any issues. I was very satisfied with my visit to tech2u and the staff was very professional and well mannered. I will definitely be returning in the future if I have any other computer related issues and will be reccomending them to my friends as well.

Had problems with Blue Screen of Death and slow downloads. Went toTech2U and talked with Steve who is very proficient and knowledgeable. He checked my computer and called me back advising me of the problem. He took time and answered my questions and provided options.. Would definitely go back if I run into any more problems. Id definitely recommend coming here. I was expecting to pay a lot more for my laptop to be fixed, but it was really affordable. Steven was really kind every time I came in, which helped quell my anxiety about my computer. It only took a couple days to get the part in for my laptop, and I havent had an issue with it since.

I was told 8 to 10 days before my laptop was even looked at, and it took the full 10 days. I understand a lot of businesses are busy and short staffed. It appeared my laptop was put back together in a hurry, it was not completely snapped back together, a screw was loose and I would have lost a separate screw completely if it wasnt hanging on by magnetic force. My laptop was repaired at a decent price and they had the best business hours to fit my busy schedule. Overall happy with the service but would prefer to have my product put back to together better next time.

So at first when I brought my pc to repair they charged me $800 (not really a fair price). But then the manager gave us a call and realized how unsatisfied and wanted to talk about a partial refund which we were very grateful for. This place does do a good job at repairing your pc and even if they mess up on the prices, they will come in contact with you to try and fix things.

What a fantastic group of young men they have here! I called on Sonday night and spoke to Mike who told me how to get to their store. Before I contacted tech 2u my computer worked ok. You guys did a online diagnostic and ran some tests, after the diagnostic my hard drive was not operable and all the data was lost to a point that the only recovery option would cost me up to $1500 with no guarantees. I spend $500 on a new hard drive including the cost of the diagnostic and $1600 for my book keeper to re enter my quickbooks data. Had I known this was the outcome I would never allowed tech 2u to touch my computer. Maybe you should advise your customers to back up their data before you run your diagnostic software.

Long story short, I think I was nicely taken care of, but within a week or so my PC started running slower an slower. Now it is troublesome. I dont know much about the inner workings of computers, and why this would be happening, but I would think that something would have looked problematic while my PC was being analyzed by Tech2U, but it was reported as no problems found. My guess is the processor has issues, but like I said, Im not knowledgeable on the inner workings of computers.
