I had two pieces of technology that weren’t computers and had been turned away at 2 other repair places. I called first and the tech said he couldn’t promise but wouldn’t mind looking at the equipment if I wanted to bring them into the store. First of all he actually recognized the Neo2 device I had and secondly he fixed it. I gave him a price and told him if it cost more than that to fix, I would replace it. I couldn’t be happier.

Tech 2U staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They took the time to answer all of my questions, and explained issues so this non-computer savvy person could understand what they were telling me. They had excellent communication both by phone and text. The work was completed when I was told it would be done. While on the phone I noticed on two different calls they got a little frustrated with me, probably they explained something twice or even three times, and it didnt sink in to me. Although this stuck out with me, I still feel the earned FIVE STARS, and would use them again and refer others to them.

Tech2U was able to pull out our dead hard-drive and verify there wasnt a catastrophic failure; Joe L. was able to do a full recovery and prepare the files for our equipment team to reinstall and reconfigure everything saving four years of patient imaging data! I heard about this place on the radio & remembered it when I needed to get my laptop updated. I dropped in and talked with Michael to get some information on what I might need & the cost. Then I finally took it in, got the new battery and got it updated. Michael took his time to make sure I understood what was recommended & answered all my questions. Initial consultation was great, reponse and follow up was solid. Only unfortunate event was the summary explanation by different tech than whom I had the initial consultation with. Cut and dry summary explanation wasnt familiar with goals and expectations and was focused only on upsell of refurbished in store laptop. Ended up with 75% of goals resolved myself less 80% of quoted costs but would still mention business to those who are completely out of their comfort zone with computer repairs based on my initial consultation with tech I spoke with

On day I called, I was stressed because computer had been compromised. I needed fast service and contacted Tech 2U. Had I been more patient and had more time, I would have gotten a second opinion for the service I needed. Multiple techs helped me, after 5’hours, one tech called and wanted to start back at the basics. $250 +\- they could not figure out why I could not connect to internet. They had me reboot modem and then everything worked. Each tech was kind and knowledgeable but missed the opportunity to reboot modem. I also got virus software installed. They each wereProfessional. Called when they said they would, always introduced themselves and updated me on all the troubleshooting they had attemped. In the end, my computer works and I am now protected from spyware and viruses. I will call again if I need help.

As I was on the way to a celebration of life. I remembered that I forgot my flash drive with a video stored on it for the service I was attending. I found tech 2U through Google. They were only 2 blocks away from where my location was. So I pulled in and in two minutes got exactly what I needed. Very professional. Mister, from Tech 2U, did an excellent job in helping me surprise my wife with a new computer. The goal was to duplicate the feel of her 10 yr old Windows 10 machine onto a new Windows 11 one. Mister took extra care to make that happen. All files and programs were up and running on the new computer when he left. After buying a new laptop it soon stopped working. Took it to Tech2U and they diagnosed that the RAM was bad in it. They gave me several options to fix it. I decided to pick up the computer to send it back for a refund. Tech2U diagnosed it for free and lived up to the stories I had heard about them. He quoted me a price for a new system but went ahead and ordered Dell desktop from Costco. Thank you for saving my data and setting up my Mac Mini, portable hard drive, and monitor. It wasn’t easy. Everything is current and I’m good to go for the next five years. I couldn’t be happier. I got my money’s worth.It’s unfortunate that Tech 2U wasn’t able to fix my iMac remotely, but it wasn’t their fault - when a hard drive is dying, there’s nothing you can do remotely. So they applied my balance to a visit by their technician, Anthony, a true professional. He accurately kept track of the time and let me know when my balance was used up and we were back on an hourly basis. It took three visits: one to diagnose and make recommendations; one to set up the new equipment, and one and a half to transfer data. You were on-time for each visit and patient with the slow rate of transfer. Well done.Tech 2U stands by their product.

I had a very good and helpful experience w Tech 2U. My battery on my MS laptop wouldnt charge at home, but it turned out to be the outlet in my apartment, thank goodness. But, got the computer checked out, cleaned up, and purchaed one of those push-in hard drive things (😅). Anyway - a good, polite and professional experience. A place down the street and around the corner (BB) wouldnt touch it, even though I bought it there - wouldnt even plug it in. Took a gaming PC in because it didnt boot. Was unsure what could be the problem and decided to have a pro take a look. Micheal greeted me at the door when I first walked in. He asked me how he could help and I explained the situation to him. He told me the process and how everything would be handled and I agreed and left the PC in his care. He was quickly able to get back to me and notified me of the problem. I ended up letting him complete the build to make it hassle free for me. I had an alarming message from “Apple” come up on my computer. I’ve learned that if there’s anything suspicious to call Tech2U first, and I’m glad I did! It ended up being a scam. Called Tech 2U for on-site help, due to a pervasive system malfunction. Joshua arrived quite timely, after an appointment was scheduled for the same day as my call-in request. Josh struck me as an extremely savvy individual in terms of both his software and hardware trouble-shooting work. These guys had showed extremely low PC knowledge when fixing my PC, I would never go here for PC issues. I was having an issue with my PC where it was constant blue screening stating there was a critical file failure, i couldnt repair the file myself resulting in other error messages, couldnt resintall windows without the system crashing before. I tried everything myself and tried checking wires/connections, after this I couldnt even start my PC. So i was frustrated with doing anything, brought my PC in told them about the blue screen error messages and my software needed fixing. They gave my PC back and it worked, but they stated the only issue was loose RAM seating but also that my GPU was failing and would need replacement. I thought it was weird because all the error messages I got lead to fixes regarding software. Got home after 40 minutes blue screened again back to how it was. So they simply reseated the loose RAM cards I had messed up and thought that would somehow fix all the blue screens I was getting. They simply said my GPU was bad was the cause of the blue screens and just ignored the blue screen messages I showed them. Well, after messing around with things constantly and finally reinstalling a fresh copy of windows my PC was fine. Its been 6 months+ that ive waited to write this review to make sure that it was actually not my GPU. Can confirm it was not my GPU as it works fine til this day. I would never go here or recommend this place for PC repairs.

When I took my pc in last Saturday, one of the techs hurt his back and wasnt able to do much besides sit in a chair and recover, but the entire time he was asking me about my pc problems and checked me in, even though he was in pain.They said it would take 5-7 days to get my pc check because my motherboard was failing, but I was able to get it back in 4 days. The problem was my motherboard, they gave me the option of having the parts ordered by the store or getting it myself, so I bought one myself and dropped it of to them today at 8am. I was told it would take able 2 days to get everything swapped out, but they called me back around 11am saying it was done. I was out of town and stuck in traffic when going to pick it up and I wasnt going to make it before the store closed, but one of the techs stayed 10 minutes after closing just so I was able to pick it up. I would recommend this shop to anybody and the price is more than fair. Ill be taking my pc to this shop in the future.

Tech 2U, techs were very professional, called me in a timely manner, explained what the next steps were, and they explained their fees. Once they determined they could not recover the data they call me and had me come in and proceeded to help me get my hard drive mailed out to their sister company to have them retrieve the data.

Tech 2U was very helpful and responsive o my concerns! I had initially gone in with a problem I had hoped owould be an easy fix but with some discussion I realized it might take some time. For what type of services they offer, their prices might seem high but reasonable and competitive. I paid for rush service and got my laptop back in a few days, and any further problems were readily addressed and handled with outstanding professionalism. Steven is a stand-up technician and extremely helpful!

Joe was exceptional, patient, kind, very knowledgeable in his work with computers. He put me at ease, as Im a senior citizen and change is challenging for me. He set up my new computer, transferred old info from the old one, added the programs I needed to do what I enjoy. Joe represents Tech 2 U as a true professional. God Bless Joe.

I hit a button and my computer locked up and sent me all kinds of messages saying a virus was in my system. I couldn’t hit and buttons or close anything. My computer just seemed to freeze up on me. Being that I am not tech savvy at all, I wasn’t about to try and figure this out on my own. It might have been an easy fix but I don’t have a clue when it comes to computers so I chose to use Tech2U. So they undid whatever I had done to lock up the system and made sure no viruses were on my computer. Things were up and running for me within a few hours.
