2024-07-01 20:43:37I had the best experience with Mazda of El Cajon. From the moment I walked in their doors, till the moment I drove off in my new vehicle. My son and I were greeted when we walked in the door. We were offered water, and were made to feel comfortable. Dylan the salesman who attended me, Nick his manager, and Keith the finance manager really listened to what I wanted and didnt want and made it happen. They went above and beyond. I would def recommend El Cajon Mazda to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle

From the moment I arrived, Julian was attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. They took the time to explain the necessary repairs in detail, provided a clear estimate, and ensured that my vehicle was serviced promptly. 2024-05-20 20:43:57As a returning customer, my experience at Mazda of El Cajon is always amazing. Everyone greets you whether it’s a smile and hello or congratulations as I left with my new car. All the people I met with had great personality and knowledge that it made the process so easy! Lauren was great with helping me decide between a few cars that I was looking at since my lease was ending. She along with Nick were able to get me the car that I wanted with all the specs I wanted within the price range that I wanted/could afford. Everyone from the floor sales to the finance team made me feel confident in my decision as I left the lot. Thank you Mazda team EC!

2024-06-20 19:43:44I leased my car with this team back in 2021(and got an absolutely incredible deal) and came back to see what my options were at lease end. They were mindful of my budget, goals, etc. and offered me two options within my budget: lease a new Mazda CX-5 or finance the residual on my 2021. They gave me time to make an informed decision, weren’t pushy or overselling and gave me yet another great deal.I never leave reviews but this experience was so great that I really wanted to take the time to share. They answered all my questions, didn’t rush me and made sure I walked out feeling confident in my decision. As a woman going in to buy a car alone, it can sometimes be intimidating but this team made me feel at ease and supported. Would definitely recommend coming to this location if you’re in the market for a new car!

As soon as my husband and I arrived at the dealership—we were greeted by Tee—a charismatic salesperson with a warm, fun, and welcoming demeanor. She was exceptional in giving us all of the specs on the car we had in mind, getting the car ready for a test drive, and ultimately walking us through the entire car-buying process.Now, if you’ve never purchased a car before, the process takes hours. With that in mind, having a salesperson you can carry on a meaningful conversation with during this time, while also being able to answer all of your questions about the big purchase you’re making, is paramount.Team Mazda was able to get us the loan that suited our needs (monthly payment/loan term) with no issue at all. They prepped and cleaned our new car so it was ready to be driven off of the lot, and helped us with our trade-in vehicle. Tee gave us her contact information in case we had any questions or concerns, hooked up my phone to the car, took some photos of us, and then we were on our way with our brand new car. What a great feeling that is! We are still on Cloud Nine.Speaking of trade-in’s, here is where Tee and Team Mazda of El Cajon really went above and beyond. Our previous vehicle had a CD player in it. and while we cleaned out the rest of the car, I forgot to check if there was a CD still in the player. Sure enough, at 2am the night after leaving with our new car, I woke up remembering that we forgot to check the CD player. I sent a message to Tee right when they opened the next day, asking if anything could be done to check the car and she said she’d take care of it. A few days later, we got a message that she had recovered my CD! I was so delighted that she remembered and pulled the strings to make that happen before our old car couldn’t be accessed anymore. The CD left in the player was 20 years old! We can’t explain how much that effort meant to us. Google only goes up to five stars, but we’d give ten if we could.Big shout outs to Nick in sales, and Keith, their amazing Finance Manager also. They both were great at locking down a good rate for us, setting up our payment plan, and granting us some leeway to provide Team Mazda with our total down payment in a reasonable timeframe. Tip: Debit and credit cards have daily limits—bring a checkbook or cashiers check!With Tee, Nick, and Keith onboard, Team Mazda of El Cajon has you in truly great hands. Thanks again!! We are so happy with our new car!!

2024-06-30 22:01:47I should preface to say I did end up purchasing a car here and I’m ultimately happy with my vehicle but the process was nothing short of a headache. I worked with Lauryn who was very professional and lovely to work with. However, as a young woman buying my first car on my own, I came in having done a lot of research knowing that I would be a target to get taken advantage of which they didn’t seem to like or respect. Negotiating with the manager Nick was a nightmare. He was completely disrespectful and degrading towards me and said “I see you came in here with your boxing gloves on.” Attempting to get him to give me the out the door pricing breakdown on paper was like pulling teeth. And even when I told them multiple times and made it extremely clear I was not interested in the several “add ons” they try to up-sale you on, they still relentlessly tried to work it into the deal. This was over $7000 extra of OPTIONAL stuff and definitely not in my budget but they make you feel crazy for declining it. Ultimately I stood my ground and got the deal I wanted but I had to fight for it. And now almost a week later I’m trying to call the finance department to get an electronic copy of my contract sent to me and it’s impossible to get through to someone and they really seem to be intentionally ghosting me. I can’t say I’d recommend this dealership unless you are looking for a typical sleazy, scam-y car buying experience.

2024-06-12 22:35:34I bought my new car from Team Mazda back in August 2022 and had a great experience there. Everyone was friendly and reasonable, and I left with a car that I am so happy with.Now, I continue to drive an extra 5-10 minutes out of my way each time I need service to go here because I have such a stellar service experience every time. I appreciate the video inspections they provide, the very friendly service, and the clean and new facilities with free wifi while I wait. Highly recommend.

Tee was so friendly and she answered all of my questions. Never felt rushed or ignored. Every person I had to deal with was really amazing.

2024-04-01 20:28:24Easy set up for the appointment though text! Friendly service providers and good communication at the dealership. It was the first included scheduled maintenance for my lease and it was easy. My only issue is they forgot to top off my wiper fluid (which I mentioned right when I dropped it off) so the light is still on which is pretty annoying. Myself or my husband will top it off and take care of it ourselves. Hopefully the light goes out. 🤞🏼 Not a big deal except I sat in the dealership all morning and it would be nice if everything was handled as it supposed to be. Otherwise great experience and wonderful dealership!
