We recently purchased a teak dining table with a matching bench from Alex at Teak Me Home and could not be more pleased. The workmanship on this furniture is impeccable and absolutely gorgeous.My husband and I had been looking for the perfect dining table for our family for several years. We visited Teak Me Home last year and were very impressed with what we found. At that time we purchased a hexagon-shaped side table for our living room. We love the side table and continued to think about the dining tables we saw there.When wed visit other furniture stores to look at countless dining tables, we found ourselves comparing everything to the beautiful teak dining tables we found at Teak Me Home. In a few words, nothing measured up to the workmanship and beauty that we found at Teak Me Home. The wood has so many beautiful colors running through it and looks alive compared to the other tables we viewed.I also love that the table has a superior finish on it. The finish maintains a matte look to the wood while providing great protection from liquid spills. Alex provided an example for us of spilling water on the table in his showroom and the water immediately balled up and was so easy to wipe up. The liquid did not soak in at all. This finish has lived up to our hopes since bringing our table home. SO easy to maintain. Love it!Our new table is near a large sliding glass door in our kitchen. When the sun streams in, the table and bench light up and look stunning showing off the many different layers of colors in the teak and the amazing workmanship.We had 8 people over for dinner this past weekend and loved how well everyone fit around the table. And, not surprisingly, we received many compliments about our beautiful new table.Customer service is also very important when purchasing furniture and, I can tell you, Alex provides absolutely top-notch service. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with and we plan on purchasing more pieces from him. The delivery team was also very professional and took great care in bringing our table into our home. I highly recommend Teak Me Home!

Ive had the Hexi end table, Dean Nook dining table, and Bowerie dining chairs for over a month and love them. The Hexi table serves 2 functions at once: coffee table and laptop stand! The dining table has a unique blend of colors with some minor imperfections in the reclaimed wood. But overall it is gorgeous and perfect for dinners or a remote working space. Finally, saving the best for last....the dining chairs. They are so ergonomic and comfortable, I have ditched using my rolling office chair! They force me to sit up straight and keep my bum satisfied during long work days. Im happy with my purchase. Thanks to Alex for being patient with me when I couldnt decide which tabletop to select. :)

We stopped here first on a multi-store shopping adventure looking for ideas and furniture for my new home, and was so glad I did. I came back and got an amazing dresser and storage trunk! Alex is amazing in his craftsmanship and was super helpful with making sure we got the right piece, even showing us two of the dressers back at his workshop after hours, so we got the one we preferred (every piece is different since its reclaimed wood). Both pieces are extremely well put together, and being solid wood, Teak at that, are very heavy and feel sturdy. They both look and work amazing in my bedroom. Now Im just waiting to see what he makes next, and have my eyes on a bed frame that was in progress

Stunning craftsmanship. Our bed frame feels like we are sleeping on a piece of art!When the time came to upgrade our bed frame, I knew I wanted reclaimed wood from a local business. Teak Me Home was just what we were looking for. Because the San Pablo showroom wasnt open yet, we made an appointment with Alex and were able to see the bed frame in person before making a decision.Alex oversaw the delivery and even though the assembly was just as simple as Alex had promised, he assembled it himself. Thank you Alex, & TMH!

We are overjoyed with our purchase from Teak Me Home, a dining room table and chairs. Ive never seen any furniture before that was both so stunningly beautiful and also the epitome of functionality. Not to mention the attention paid to sustainability by reclaiming the wood.Our table came with two leaves so that we could expand it from 6 to 10 places, but its luxuriously wide and we could likely fit at least another 2 in a pinch. I can tell that its solid wood, and the expansion mechanism is metal and fitted with gears for an easy transition. The chairs have a slight slant to both the seat and the back to better fit the body, making them surprisingly comfortable. The teak itself is a gorgeous, warm medley of colors, and our dining room now feels inviting.Also of some note, we looked at three other tables that were similarly beautiful, but less well designed, and they were all more expensive than Alexs.Alex was patient and friendly with us the entire time, accommodating our needs perfectly. He was happy to hold the table for me for a day while I was still measuring and deciding if it would fit. He also gave us a gentle lesson in caring for the table and complimentary orange oil to use on it, and when I asked if I could have a scrap of wood for a craft project, he threw it in for free. Overall we could not have asked for a better experience.

Tracy was a great showroom guide, giving good information, history of the furniture and not being pushy about a sale. I respected that she continued to give me and my husband out space as we made a decision.After purchase, the delivery was handled smoothly by not only two very capable gentlemen who set up the table, but led by Alex, the designer of our dining room set and owner of Teak Me Home. I loved that he took the time to assure his work was to our satisfaction as it became a part of our home.I will be referring friends and family to Teak Me Home when they are in the market for beautiful, unique and well crafted furniture.

We were completing a whole home renovation and addition and needed a new dining table to fill our new space. We wanted a signature piece - big, bold, and unique - as opposed to a dining set available from any furniture store. I started searching for reclaimed wood craftsmen, and came across Alexs website. The pieces online looked beautiful, so my wife and I made a trip over to Berkeley that Saturday to check out his showroom. Leaning against the wall was the most beautiful 108 slab, which we immediately knew we wanted. Alex worked with us to select the perfect legs, and we scheduled delivery for two weeks later. We love the way it looks in our new dining room, and everyone who visits immediately comments on its beauty.

Ive been looking for a solid round teak table that seats 6 people for a couple of years. After visiting stores and scanning the internet I finally found one that was perfect on the Houzz website and found the table was from Teak Me Home. I looked Teak Me Homes website, and since I loved the Fountaine Dining Table on the site I called. Alex called back within an hour and by the end of the day I ordered the table. It was delivered about 4 weeks later (would have been quicker but I ordered right before Christmas). Service was great. Delivery was great. The table is beautiful.

When we were buying our first home, we knew we wanted a large, wood dining room table as the centerpiece for our dining room. We looked around at a lot of different places and fell in love with the look of these teak tables.We were buying while we were still closing, so we didnt have the exact measurements of our dining room at the time. Alex was very understanding as we changed our mind on table size several times after wed put down a deposit.He worked with us to coordinate a delivery team around our schedule. The movers were very careful with a very heavy table, both with the table and with our floors and walls. It was delivered on time and in great shape.Everyone weve had over has walked in, seen the table, and just said wow! Mission accomplished.

I am in awe of the furniture we purchased from Teak Me Home. The dining table is a perfect center piece and a conversation starter. The story behind the wood is incredible. Make sure to ask Alex about it.
