2024-01-23 18:24:38This company helped me save lots of money but at the end of what should have been a great closing with the company the management/supervisor of the company was rude and has no communication skills. He repeatedly called me ignorant. What kind of customer service is that!!!! What kind of leadership is that. I would not recommend this company to anyone because of that supervisor.Responding to comments below.Mr Tony G didnt call me to congratulate me but to insult me. I called him a few times to find out what I needed to do with the letter I got. I was upset for the fact that he wasnt returning my calls. He sent me a text that I didnt understand. Finally getting a hold of him turned into a disaster. The reason it took so look to return the documents was correspondence was very poor. Mr Tony G needs to learn customer service .

2024-03-15 00:31:49I would not recommend this tax response center they don’t do anything to help but take your money and keep asking you to fill out forms. It’s bad enough that I had to pay them to get started and then every month I have to pay for my agent which is ridiculous. Now that I’m left the program because of a rude encounter with a person and was not being helped or updated of my status I didn’t want nothing else to do with this program that said they will help but keep tossing my case to different people I rather not. I was enrolled in this for a couple months and was not being closer to finish with my case. Plus the people won’t stop calling me after I have terminated my contract with them. It seems like this company doesn’t do anything until you call them out for not helping you and then they want to go and make you look like the bad guy when all I was asking for assistance in my taxes.

2023-12-29 19:59:25For over a year I made an agreement with Tax Response to handle both Fedetal and State Taxes, and of course with their monthly charge of $79.00, after 8 months or so Heather P.. informed me that I had to pay $350:00 to close the Federal case, I paid so that later she can tell me that it was better to NOT change the status I was In with the IRS ( uncollected status ), something that was arranged before I got with Tax Response, —after explaining to her that the purpose I called Tax Response was to get help to negotiate and clear this debt. NOTHING was accomplished.She said she had close the case.( mind you without my approval )after paying TAX RESPONSE the monthly fee plus the $350:00. That is my first outcome from this “ Buisness”,, still waiting for the her to informe me on the State,, and while waiting info from her on the State 2 months go by w/o any word, so I call her—SHE NO LONGER IS WORKING THERE!! — now TONY GAGLIADO is handing my case, after sending him all requested info to continue with “ State “, it takes another 2 months to hear from Tony, /- Only bc I called him —-while waiting for response from TRC I receive a notice from “STATE “ stating their intention to place a “ lien “ on my property, since nothing was done to prevent this action from TRC// TONY GAGLIADO// a lien was placed on OCTOBER 2023, on my property, even thou I have been paying monthly for service — —and sent TONY GAGLIADO notice from the STATE months ahead stating about the intent to place a LIEN on my property.,Tony Gagliado called for info on a bank statement of 2 hrs ago- asking if “why this why that”—-before I could look for that statement to verify info with him, he became hostile, unprofessional and rushing his last words to me on the phone” I HAVE OTHER CUSTOMERS TO CALL “ and hung up !!! —-OMG!! I was treated very unprofessional and without consideration of my search for proper response to his question- And to find out that he is a MGR at this facility, I felt I had no choice but to cancel and seek professional assistance elsewhere with my case// —IF THIS PERSON TREATED ME WITH THIS KIND OF HOSTILITY AND RUSHED ME OFF — what will he professionally do with my STATE case? — I understand when a person has caseloads of settlement to handle —-BUT TONY GAGLIADO—( being a mgr there) showed ZERO concern to a paying customer for over a year, ( ME)- I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TAX RESPONSE CTR— especially with his Mgr—. Who do you call on if you have this as a problem as I did ? Since he is the mgr there? BBB?

2023-08-15 01:02:03Tax Response is THE BEST! They resolved my multi-5 figure IRS debt to just $100 from my wife and i, Total, gone!! They were terrific to work with, communicative, appropriate, competent and diplomatic. Seriously The Best, and i WOULD AND HAVE, RECOMMENDED THEM TO ANYBODY WITH IRS OR STATE TAX DEBT

2023-08-24 16:55:44I resolved my own Tax issue and I really feel as though though they were trying to just keep me subscribed as they call it so that they could continue to charge me monthly. The person that I had to deal with acted like I was irritating him because I would call to try to check on the status of my situation. Furthermore, when I spoke with him to let him know that my issue was resolved he acted as if it was something that they did when in actuality they had nothing to do with it at all and didnt know that I had taken care of it. If he was doing anything to resolve the issue he would have known that I had resolved it and he had no clue. He actually tried to act like they had something to do with it which was really surprising to me because of the deceit.

2023-03-29 20:05:46My experience with Tax Response Center was excellent. My case manager Justin was the best. There were several less than clear issues with the funds I owed the IRS from two and a half years of self employment. Justin always responded promptly to my questions and concerns and really worked with me on these issues. I am indebted to Tax Response Center, and recommended Tax Response Center to a friend who needed their services.

2023-02-27 20:44:27I want to put you at ease- Tax Response Center is legit and effective! It is a process, so you have to have patience, as you are dealing with the slow gears of government. Be ready to act when your TRC agent calls upon you to move things along. Together, we were able to legally settle my $29+k tax debt from a horrible divorce to a $1300 payment! Im done! Im out! Clean hands! Thank you Tax Response Center!!

2023-02-16 17:00:36I am glad I chose TAX RESPONSE, I was excited I went and had my taxes done yesterday and I actually am getting a small return back first time in years I was able to settle my case and only pay the IRS $10. I was very pleased. with the results and I would recommend Tax Response Center. Thank you so much.

2020-06-11 22:36:39Used car salesman type of service. Erika Cope is rude and does not give complete and accurate information. Erika has no patience and does not do a good job explaining and relating information. I had no idea that my payment plan had been approved by the IRS until I reached out inquiring about the status. Once my case was resolved, I continued to be charged. It would have been nice if I was told that would be the case. Then we I emailed asking about being charged $45/monthly, I was told that my monthly membership would be reduced to $25 per month only to continue to be charged $45. I called to request a new case manager because Erika was no longer being helpful after my case was resolved. Tony, the manager who is not that much better told me that there’s no request on file from me to get it reduced. Okay, genius (and yes, Tony I’m talking to you) I would have put in a request had I known any action was required of me in the first place. Your rep, Erika Cope does not provide good customer service, and it’s a bad reflection on the Tax Response Center.Another issue that I had with the service (or lack thereof) provided by Erika Cope is I asked for my adjusted gross income from my 2018 tax returns (filed by tax response), so I could file my 2019 return only to be told that she doesn’t file tax returns. While I understand that’s the job of a CPA, Erika was my single point of contact who should be able to request the information that I need from the CPA who prepared my tax return. She could not care less now that I’ve paid my fees and my tax issue is resolved.I don’t believe she fought to get me the best deal especially after reading that other clients were able to settle thousands of dollars in debt for $100. Those reviews must be fake. You’re better off saving your money and waiting on hold with the IRS to negotiate a settlement or payment plan. I’m disgusted by experience and have learned my lesson going forward.Erika was more of a headache than help. And I know I will receive a canned response just like the other bad reviews outlining how I wasn’t responsive. Blaming the client and taking no accountability is another reason I recommend this tax resolution service with plenty of reservations.I will also leave a review on the BBB, so that clients will beware.With no appreciation,Chiquita Barnes
