Highly recommend! I was a little hesitant about doing a snowshoe tour for the first time, but luckily David was very detailed about all the things I would need and directions to the location. Once we arrived, David helped us put on our snowshoes and gave us a few tips not to fall. During our tour, David was very attentive to our groups needs (two parties of two). He made stops to help us catch our breath since we are couch potatoes.During the hike, David gave us birdseed, which attracted all the local chickadees, making our time in the woods even more special! He even took the time to take pictures of our group to capture the picture-perfect views!Overall, I would highly recommend booking this snowshoe tour. David is a true local mountain man that makes this experience magical!

Had a great time snowshoeing and David was an excellent guide (along with his dogs!). This was well worth the drive from South Lake Tahoe to experience these views. We were blessed with beautiful blue skies as you can see from the photos. Plenty of time to take in the views and rest before getting to the next incredible view. David also provided information about the lake and the surrounding area. I went on a weekday and felt we had the area to ourselves. To experience this type of scenery only hearing the snow under you was truly special. Thanks David!

Dave and the Tahoe Snowshoe Tours team made our engagement perfect! My *now fiance* and I went on a Snowshoe tour with Dave which ended with a perfect photo finish engagement. Dave was very knowledgeable about the terrain and captured the most magnificent photos for our special day. If youre in the area and looking for a fun activity (engagement or not) this team does a great job organizing. This was our first time snowshoeing and Dave helped keep the pace consistent with our skill level. 10/10 recommend!

What an fun experience! My mom and I enjoyed a morning of snowshoeing today, guided by David. It felt like we had the mountain to ourselves!Highlights of the trip:-birds 🐦eating birdseed out of your hand!-making fresh tracks on powder-the picturesque views throughout the morningDavid was a spectacular guide - slows down when needed and a great wealth of info on the area and things to do.They have a high rating for a reason - safe, beautiful sites and quite the experience. Highly recommend if you are looking for things to do in Tahoe!

First time snowshoeing and David, our guide, was phenomenal. He made us feel safe and comfortable with the pace. I am really glad we came across Tahoe Snowshoeing Tours, the views from up there are some of the best we have seen. The wild life cooperated and we got to befriend the birds of the forest. I highly recommend it, you get away from the over crowded ski resorts.

Absolutely picture perfect day! Dave was the best guide for our day of snow shoeing! Highly recommend the early morning tour. We loved seeing all the birds, especially the unique sighting of the blue grouse! Dave allowed us to go at our own pace and showed us many gorgeous views. We have been coming to Tahoe for 30+years and have done so many outdoor activities, but this was so memorable. We have already recommended this to our friends and family.

What an amazing trip. We are very new to snow shoeing and David was a wealth of knowledge. He had so many tips, tricks and all the info about the area. We got to a high ridge just in time for the most beautiful sunset! Could not make it a better experience, Thanks David we will be back!

My friend and I had an incredible time on the snowshoe tour! Our guide, David was incredibly kind and really made it an incredible experience! He always made sure to check in with everyone in the group and took as many breaks as needed! He brought bird seed for everyone to feed the birds and we were able to capture incredible videos and pictures with them! It was absolutely magical having the little birds land on us. We hiked to some beautiful spots and saw breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding forest. I would 100% recommend!

This was our first snowshoeing experience and we are glad we chose Tahoe Snowshoe tours! . Our guide Dave made the experience highly enjoyable for us. He gave us very clear instructions on where to meet and what gear to get. He was punctual and the tour started at the planned time. Dave took us through a beautiful trail full of beautiful vista points. The added bonus was being able to feed birds out of our hands, something which we’ve never experienced before!Overall we highly recommend Tahoe Snowshoe Tours and would like to try out their other tours

My husband, myself, and my son (11 years old) did a snowshoe tour with David a week ago. He met us on time exactly at the location he provided us after booking. He strapped the snowshoes onto each of our feet, and asked if we had ever snowshoed before (which we had) so we did not need any instruction. David was not the only guide on this snowshoe tour as he brought his 9 year old dog Leo along. Leo is a fabulous 4 legged guide, enjoys butt scratches and back rubs if he is not off wandering the forest for Grouse or maybe Big Foot...needless to say we loved him. We are from Florida, so the altitude can be a bit exhausting for us. David is an attentive guide. He stopped often for us to catch our breath and to also allow us to feed the chickadees and take in the view. I love to talk, so I asked him a bunch of questions. He is a very interesting guy. Funny too. Id highly recommend this trip for anyone, and I forgot to mention the most important part - the views are INCREDIBLE!!! Thanks David.

We absolutely loved our snow shoe hike with David! The trail was gorgeous and the hike was the perfect length of time for our family of 8 who were as young as 10. The weather was beautiful and the vistas of the lake incredible. Little birds even landed on our hands and are birdseed! David was an excellent guide. Patient with the group and went at the pace we desired. He set up fun moments for ya throughout the hike, took awesome photos and taught us about the local area. Kids got to run and play in many feet of powder! Highly recommend if you are visiting Tahoe!

This was our familys first snowshoe experience and it was amazing. Our guide, David, was knowledgeable about all of Tahoe, accommodating and understanding of our different levels of fitness, kind and truly enjoyable to lead us on this adventure. As a family who are nature and animal lovers, Davids tour allowing us the ability to feed wild birds right from our hands was magical. The views were indescribable and this is an experience that our family wont forget....especially since David took absolutely stunning photos during our entire adventure. I highly recommend this adventure and I cant wait to go back and do it again.

David was an amazing tour guide. He was thoughtful, attentive to the needs of the group, and worked hard to make sure our experience was magical. We fed wild birds out of the palm of our hands, we saw breathtaking views, and we all throughly enjoyed every minute of it. I told our guide that my fiancee and I just got engaged and he took photos of us and made it a very special moment. I even have a photo of my ring while a bird is resting on my hand. Just magical. Highly recommend!

Incredible snow shoeing experience with some of the best views in Tahoe. Was great chatting with Dave throughout the tour, where he captured some amazing pictures of me and my now fiancé. My proposal was a complete surprise and Dave helped coordinate the perfect location for the most important moment of my life. We did a snowshoe tour with Dave in mid-November and it was a great experience! The location was perfect - good amount of snow, gorgeous views, and we were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to get away from the crowds and still enjoy the tranquil sights and sounds of Tahoe!

Great adventure! Wonderful views and an excellent alternative to skiing or snowboarding.David met us at the designated location, strapped us in our shoes, and started our trek; his two dogs Leo and Gus joined us and lead the trek. With brief stops along the way to get our lungs adjusted, David shared a number of facts and insights about the mountain and lake. One one of the stops, we fed some birds with seed from our hands--pretty cool. Upon reaching the ridge overlooking the lake, our efforts paid off with vistas like none other.From pictures taken to Davids focus on the customer experience and safety, to his commentary and a fun adventure, highly recommend this alternative in the outdoors.

Great tour. We saw such amazing sites and our guide Dave took care of us and kept us safe and it just felt like being taken out with a friend. Trust me, the views, and the amazing scenery is worth it. You will need to have minor fitness, but its not bad if you feel out of shape, youll take many rest stops and wont be forced to push beyond any limit.

We were looking for something different to do and made a last minute booking to go on a guided Snowshoe Tour. Our reservation was accepted and we were given great directions on where to meet our guide. David, our guide, was great. The weather wasnt perfect and I wasnt sure what to expect, but he had such an easy going style that we were buckled in and hiking in no time at all. We had barely walked into the forest before coming across some sweet little birds that would quickly fly in to land on your hand. The pace was very comfortable and we spent the next couple of hours walking through the woods and sharing stories. We would definitely recommend Tahoe Snowshoe Tours to all our guests that come to visit.

Wow, what a great experience. Our guide David, brought my wife and I on a snowshoe hike where we got to see beautiful sights of the Lake Tahoe area. He took just enough breaks to keep us on tract to the top of the mountain. We also got to swing on a swing that he had placed in the woods and feed birds right out of our hands. Would recommend to anyone that wants a great adventure.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. David took us on our first ever snow shoe hike, we did the full moon hike and it was absolutely amazing!! I’m used to hiking on my own so I was nervous about having a guide, but I couldn’t have found a better one. David is exceptional, he was timely, friendly, has a great sense of humor, was very patient (especially with my 12 year old son and his friend) and he is very knowledgeable. He pointed out different constellations for us, oriented us with our gorgeous surroundings, took some really cool pictures, answered all our random questions and provided a bunch of fun facts and information about the area and everything in it. It really made for an exceptional experience.Of course the views and surroundings were absolutely stunning. The moon lights up the forest at night illuminating the snow and trees all round you. We could see the entire lake surrounded by millions of stars. It was very serene and a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend!! Thank you so much David!

Great experience! The weather was fantastic, the trail wasnt difficult and yet we were able to see beautiful views of the lake. Feeding the birds was unforgettable. Our guide, David, was great. We kept our mask on the whole time and it was easy to keep a distance from one another.

We loved the snow shoe experience. Our guide, david, led us on an incredible adventure through the snow. It is great for beginners. He gave us tips to help navigate through the woods in a safe manner. He also got small birds to eat bird seed from our hand. And the views of the lake and mountains were breathtaking.

This was our very best “snow adventure”! David is a skilled; patient; helpful; and knowledgeable guide. He selected a course that provided us with fantastic views and still met our skill and conditioning levels well.
