I cant say anything.Good enough about our stay. The room was spotless and very well appointed. The location is incredible with its own private beach fire pits, spa, pool. All of the service was great everyone was friendly. Check-in.Was a breeze. There were a few reviews that had some things to say that were less than perfect.. Our experience was wonderful.We tried to turn around and book again and it is booked out solid. That would be the only downfall at this point. The private beach really sets it apart. We made sure to go to every sunset.

Most of the staff were nice and friendly. Its not fancy or newish looking but I guess it is what it is for the price? Cant have it all but if you are on a budget its not bad. It has little bit of everything. So... Great value. Even has its own private beach that allows you to go swim in the lake. Fire pits, sauna, hot tub, heated pool, and gym. Great if you are here in winter.Upon request, they even provide electric hot plate (aka stove top) with pans and pots to handle basic cooking (first come first serve).The studio room I had came with patio, 4 dining set, basic kitchen accessories, Full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster, mixer, double sided electric grill (great for steaks), sink, sofa bed, queen bed, and bath.This was perfect for my solo trip without family. Fits the budget and had all I needed.Cons? Thin walls! Got to hear who was still getting it on, lol.

The resort has a good location. However, the staff there were really unpleasant. We asked if we could have a room with a better view, and the receptionist stated we needed to book two years in advance, which made no sense considering that it was off season. They sent us an email stating that they do not have air conditioning but do provide a heater; nevertheless, there was no heater in the room. Also, the bed was very narrow and not regular size. The pillows were terrible; we stayed two nights and couldnt sleep for an hour straight because of the pillows. The walls are incredibly thin, so you can hear everything going on in the adjoining room..

First time here. Staff is not pleasant. Upon arrival told me we could only have one parking pass although we have 2 cars. I was at the front desk next day and I witnessed an older couple being offered 2 parking passes. Whats up with that.? I was told they were completely booked. There r plenty of spots available. A little discrimination I feel. Now we must scramble to find somewhere in Tahoe to park our 2nd car!! I even offered to pay for parking. They said No..although the accommodations r adequate and beach is lovely I will definitely go somewhere else..oh and whats up the the towel police!! Ridiculous...

Here is my personal review. I will start with the bad things:1. Some of the staff were nice and kind, while others like Jessica - the manager, Rusty, another front desk girl were the opposite. During the blizzard, there was a power outage that only impacted our building while the other 5 buildings had power. Next day, after being 12 hours without electricity, I politely asked Jessica to move us to one of the buildings that had power. She told me that all buildings had the power outage which was a lie because I talked with maintenance and customers from building 5 & they said they had power. Jessica told me that I could go to the casinos or a couple of restaurants in town to stay warm and that we should stay in the dark like she did during the last blizzard. That was not an answer to a customer, she could say, let me see what I can do, I can’t promise anything but I will do my best. Idk there are ways to treat your customers during a situation like that.2. The hotel’s name is Tahoe Beach and “Ski” club, and they don’t even have ski lockers. They don’t offer ski shuttle.3. The One Bedroom apartment was nice but the kitchenette could have some improvements like including an electric stove.Good things:The room was clean, and bed sheets were sparkling clean.The location is okay. While foods and Safeways are close by.

Always a wonderful experience at Tahoe Beach and Ski. Only one downside is in the morning the maintenance personnel and or room service are very loud and they have full conversations very loudly and also use their radio extremely loud. They should try to keep it down, be a bit quiet people want to rest and enjoy some peaceful time.

I drove 7 hours and when I arrived at the place it was 3:00 in the evening. They told me that you cannot enter until 4:00 in the evening. I was tired and my little daughter was tired.The first hours of our arrival, the air conditioner was working, then it did not workWe asked them to fix it several times but no one responded . . .👎There are better places than this.

We stayed for 6 Nights & had a GREAT Experience! The studio rooms were nice & the partial kitchen helped as well as the sofa pulling out into a bed! The private beach w/ Ping Pong & two large gas fire pits are a +! The Staff are OUTSTANDING! Very Friendly & Prompt to provide whatever services we needed! Quick & Efficient! Very nice place to stay in South lake Tahoe. But Watch out for the parking enforcement folks.And if you do get a ticket dont be fooled by the appeal process . Thats all farmed out to a firm in Newport Beach. They have draconian operating principles and they dont cut anyone any slack for any reason whatsoever.I paid $200 over 3 days willingly for valet and parking permissions at various locations in South Lake Tahoe. Yet when I was 15 minutes over my time at a shopping center, that 15 minutes earned me a $200 ticket.

Disgusting place. Raunchy staff that cant do anything outside of tead back a list of rules and terrible smelling rooms.We booked through airbnb and were shown a beautiful room with lake views. When we got here its a room in the back with a view of other rooms. 100% bait & switch and the front desk wanted nothing to do with it. Kept reciting some feedback about the owners and time shares and booking 18 months ahead. So annoying. So frustrating. So bad that we left and paid more money to stay at a different place.Photo of what was advertised vs received. Absolutely unacceptable

Had a wonderful two nights stay in this lovely property when skiing at the Kirkwood and tubing at Mountain Adventure.Great location : Right on the private beach access to Lake Tahoe, and Whole Food is just across the road.Nice service&facility: Friendly staff, organized special events everyday. You can enjoy the pool and hot tub with the beautiful lake view.Spacious room : reasonable price for a one bedroom suite with kitchen and dining area.Highly recommend this hotel when you want to spend some quality time with family.

Great location and close to everything, including Whole Foods and restaurants. Well-appointed room with outlets everywhere. We had a 1-bedroom room, so the living room kitchen area was great for extra space. The small kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were all recently updated with new fixtures. The only issue is that we could hear our upstairs neighbors a lot.

We really enjoyed our stay for the week we were in South Tahoe. The rooms overall were nice, but the hallways leading to the rooms, particularly the stairwells, had a terrible odor. I wish the rooms were a little more fully-equipped, even if only a 1 or 2 burner cook top and an oven or ninja airfyer instead of the simple toaster oven and microwave. We arrived a little early and were not able to check-in right away. We wandered around the property for about an hour and returned to the office to check the status of our room. It was still not ready, but a different clerk was there, and she was able to do some rearranging of room assignments, which allowed us to finally get settled. This was very relieving since we had already spent a full day in airports (traveled from CST to PST). All the employees we encountered was friendly and helpful. There is a full activity center and fitness center on property, although we did not use these.

Me and my mother sat through a timeshare presentation (dont recommend) and got a week-long voucher to stay at this resort. Our stay was mostly amazing and Ill certainly be coming back to stay with them the next time I go to Tahoe.The staff was very friendly and would often go out of their way to see if they could help out even with some of my more ridiculous requests. The resort itself is well taken care of and pleasant and the ammenities are at the very least what youd expect to get, maybe more. Also, I didnt join the activities much but they seem great for families.We did have some trouble with some of the appliances in the apartment but the front desk immediately dispatched maintenance to fix our issues.Overall super nice stay. I wanna give a shout out to Travis, Dayna and Paula for being helpful and pleasant throughout my stay. Its always the people that make these experiences extraordinary and this time was no exception.

Great location in South Tahoe. Love the courtyard with BBQs for cooking each night. Private beach is wonderful for paddle boarding and relaxing. Rooms are nice and spacious. Requested a hot plate since they dont have stoves and it was great.Very hard to get a room that you requested and rooms really need air conditioning in hot summer months or at least units in the bedrooms. Our last two nights we couldnt sleep due to being so hot and because we were in the main lobby building we couldnt keep the windows open because traffic is so loud. Definitely try to stay in a different building next time.

Its not a luxury stay but it is extremely comfortable and was a great value for me. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms had some really great features (small heatwr for boots and gloves), ability to turn down the heat at night, shower heaters for a make shift spa shower. By Far one of the most beautiful and wonderfully placed hotels in South Lake Tahoe! I had a bad experience at my reserved Air B&B so I had to make last minute reservations here. And I am so glad I did! The view from the room was INCREDIBLE! Pool side with a nice view of the Lake! We had a two story room with a gorgeous spiral staircase. Bed was comfortable and the family just loved the entire place! Great Tiki bar on their private beach for the adults, fancy BBQs available for use, and even a plethora of different types of activities to do. Kayaking, Basketball, Tennis and even a playground for the little one! It was by far the best accommodation. I am so happy we moved there instead of that dirty old Air B&B. Thanks Tahoe Beach and Ski for coming through last minute and making our vacation so memorable!

Really great facilities and location was prime. Lot of facilities if you get stuck during cold weather. Only thing I missed compared to regular AirBnb was that it didnt have a stove if you wanted to cook something quick. But we and specially my 5 year old enjoyed the stay. I stayed at this resort from May 14th to 17th, 2023When I arrived at the hotel and tried to check in, the woman at the front desk made me feel very bad and disappointed. She treated me in a very strong and coercive manner.The name of woman that made me feel very bad and disappointed at the front desk is Jessica.Ive been to many hotels and resorts, but Ive never seen such a rude and cocky attitude. I thinks she shouldnt work in the service industry, including hotels.My second disappointment is the kitchen system in the room. Although the kitchen was fully equipped, there was no stove for cooking, so I was very embarrassed. There is no electric or gas stove. There is only one small electric pot only.Of course, this was my mistake to check the kitchen system carefully when booking this resort. I was very uncomfortable to kook and eat. When making a reservation for a resort, please check the kitchen facilities carefully before making a reservation.

Nice place. Clean and updated rooms. Great location with a private beach. Would stay here for summers too. Suites had a large primary room and bath/tub. Service was ok and only 1 house cleaning per week. Everything else was great and we would definitely stay again.

The hotel and staff are great. Rooms are clean. The only problem that weve encountered is the lack of electricity and its about to reach its 3rd day. We all had to shower in icy cold water. Cant charge our phones. Cant watch. Internet was restored after 2 days of being down. Apart from that, its been an awesome place to stay in. I just wish that they get to fix things faster as I have kinds that are suffering. The nearby hotels have electricity so I dont know whats going on with this place.

The private beach saved it from a 1 star review. We reserved a 2 story townhouse and they switched us to a 2 bedroom single story. No ac in the rooms so expect them to be hot when you arrive. Our room was not ready at check in time and we had to wait for almost a hour. Do not believe the pictures of the rooms, thats not the room you will be getting.The positive, the private beach is very nice and was not to crowded. Hammocks in the courtyard are a nice touch. Private balcony overlooking the courtyard. The rooms are a good size.Overall, we wont be coming back here. For the price we paid per night, we could have found better. We felt we were duped by the photos of the room we reserved and never got.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great location. Much dated. Not a lot of privacy with the bed placement. Bed was full size instead of queen. There was no AC in the room so it may get hot during summer. The pictures definitely seem a lot more glorified than the actual place. Spa is basically another hot tub. Staff was rather rude. Water on the private beach was not as clear as other parts of the lake. But great views. It was nice having the pool, beach and hot tub in just a short walk. And with the restaurants and Whole Foods so close it was a nice location.

Location was great, but how is there no AC or fans in the room? As a solo female traveler, I’m not going to feel comfortable leaving my sliding door open when the parking lot is right there. Nice furniture and decor, clean, fast internet, comfortable beds. Plus it’s very spacious. However, at least in building 2 where I stayed, the noise from the hallway and nearby rooms comes in loud and clear because of hollow metal front doors with a wide gap under them. And for some reason there are two entrances, one door is in the bedroom, so there’s no escaping. If you’re a light sleeper or get unlucky with your neighbors, this can end up being a bad time.

This was the perfect spot for us. We could walk to dining and shopping. The beach is very nice. We planned our to trip to be between the ski and summer seasons and it worked out just right. Not crowded. We were able to get in a lot of hiking, as the Emerald Bay area is 20 mins or so away. There is plenty of eating within walking distance.

Interior of room was very clean and had recent upgrades. The hotels private beach on Lake Tahoe, with a charming out door fire pit, were charming.My room was on the ground floor staring at another building like ten feet away. So I kept the draperies shut the entire time. No view of the lake or even trees was very sad. The hotel has two hot tubs and neither had working jets. The sauna, fitness room and laundry were also out of serve.

Big rooms at value for money cost. Direct access to private beach with seats, which is the best part. We reached a bit early for what seemed like a half empty property, but was still made to wait “to the dot” 4pm check in, which left a sour taste. On the flip side, I asked for a nearby printer during checkout for printing our predeparture test result before flying off, the reception gave it us for free :-)Overall recommended for longer stays

We stayed at the one bedroom deluxe unit and it was super comfortable. One king bed, one sofa bed and 2 full bathrooms. A kitchen with hot plate provided on request. Layout was very comfortable. They do not have room cleaning service for folks who stay less than a week, but that didnt matter to us. Location wise we are close to a lot of things. We are one mile from the Heavenly Village and close to a lot of restaurants and stores. A lot of them walkable. Summer this location would be even more perfect since they have a private beach.

I have stayed here every year for several years, and I have been happy with the resort every time. The room is very nicely appointed, and the resort is well maintained. The one bedroom suite is spacious, and my next door studio appears adequate. Its nice to be able to walk to the beach, I was also able to use the outdoor spa and the tennis court. Parking is free and very convenient. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a week through my RCI points and we had a wonderful stay! The staff was great and the rooms are sizable. Unfortunately during that time the pool and hot tub was closed (late April) but the beach made up for it! We stayed in the studio which was perfect for the two of us. Very disappointed already and have only been here for five hours. The lobby was out of control due to the lack of organization. People had no rooms that they had reserved in advanced. Other people received the wrong keys went I. The room to find other people’s stuff inside. That alone made me a little skeptical to what kind of place they were running and how they are running it. People from our group weren’t able to get a room till 6:00pm due to this place not having the rooms cleaned and ready. Get to our room to find nasty back stuff and hair all over our bed. I ask for them to come replace them and I guy comes up and hands me a stack of bedding and tells me to throw the dirty stuff in the hallway. This has to be the worst place I have stayed. I’m very disappointed in there lack of caring about the customer.

This is a very nice lodge, the hosts are very friendly and are interested in you having a good time. The only disappointment is the room doesnt have a fireplace. I know that is petty, but we have a beautiful 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom room and a balcony to look outside at all the snow. . And no fireplace. One bathroom has a large shower, the bathroom with the master bedroom has a gigantic sunken jacuzzi tub! All amenities are first class. I would definitely stay here again!

We stay here just about every year (some years we let our family use the timeshare). This place is simple and comfortable with very unique beach access and views of the lake. It is super affordable compared to other resorts in and around Tahoe as well. Apparently, Diamond Resorts is still trying to buy this place up and take control so they can raise the prices (and likely demolish the place so they can put in huge towers like they did next door). So who knows how long this tranquil place will last in these uncertain times? Feel free to research the effects and consequences of when Diamond Resorts take control of rental and vacation properties.

Cannot give 5 stars because of rooms a little smaller compare to similar resorts and the heater was confusing to operate, one room had a manual switch, another electronic and both could be turned on and off by a sensor on the doors. Sometimes the room would be to warm or too cold. I guess they are working on some improvements.

We stayed in the Bliss building, second floor. We were in a one bedroom. The unit was nicely updated. The balcony is nice, featuring all composite materials. The room amenities were great with your standard cable TV, a large flat screen in both rooms and DVD players. There is also a well stocked kitchen and two full baths. There is WiFi on premise, but it was honestly hit or miss as to whether it was going to work. There are a few items missing due to the space limitations, namely a regular stove(they provide a two burner plug in, but its pretty small), a dishwasher (not a big deal), and an oven (they only have a toaster oven). These arent necessarily negatives, just something to keep in mind. Overall the room is great. The grounds are kept pristine, with a private beach that is monitored closely by security and a green area with several grills for cooking. They also have two spas and a pool. The pool is kept decently warm and the spas are kept hot. Weve been here several times in the past and have always enjoyed ourselves. One of the biggest advantages is that it is walking distance to the marina.

This is our familys second time staying here and we thoroughly enjoy Tahoe Beach & Ski Club! It is in a great location in town and literally right on the edge of Lake Tahoe. It is also in a very convenient location to Heavenly Ski Resort (less than 5 minutes to the parking lot).The front desk and management is very accommodating - any issues we have are quickly resolved and they always strive to make the stay a very pleasant one. There are plenty of hot tubs on site, outdoor fire pits, and a decent gym.Its hard to go wrong here - and a really good setup for families. Thanks for making our stay great!

Our family has been coming here every year for the past decade practically and we love it. It has been getting better each year as new fine establishments such as Artemis and a Whole Foods market have opened just next door.In addition to its own private beach, they have a gym, sauna, tennis court, new basketball hoop, beach volleyball court, pool, jacuzzi, and various barbecue pits on the beach. As of this past year they have installed a brand new built-in stainless steel barbecue, which is quite a nice touch.The beach has trees, which provide ample shade for those who want it. There are also plenty of picnic tables on the beach, and I recommend eating out there as much as possible. The sunsets are phenomenal. Swimming in the lake is nice but it is a bit chilly. I highly recommend some type of bug repellent to protect against biting flies and whatever other insects have managed to bite their way into my skin causing numerous nights of lack of sleep.Since I mainly cook at home, we usually take a chefs knife, a cutting board, a large pan, and various utensils such as tongs. We ask them for a hot plate, which we use to cook breakfast and dinner inside the room, and take everything down to the beach to eat there.

Not as good as it use to be. Carpet needed cleaning. Grills are no longer cleaned and stocked each day. Tub had no stopper so no way to use the jets. We had to wait a couple of days to get a hot plate so we could cook. There is no central air and with record heat in Lake Tahoe well that just is not a great mix. Sorry to say after multiple stays here this will probably be the last. The private beach is awesome but not enough to warrant the cost

From the moment that we checked in all the staff members were excellent. Loved having the spa and pool right on the beach. BBQs were clean and ready to cook off of. The two large fit pits were awesome at night. Great place to have a relaxing vacation.I should have planned and brought our rafts, umbrella, and chairs. They provide loungers and chairs for the beach but it would have been good to have.

I love the staff here and the rooms were quite nice! There were plenty of activities which was really nice and I enjoyed that there were many Christmas activities which made my son so happy. We were able to decorate a Christmas coffee cup, make some Christmas cookies, And even take a picture with Santa Clause! And while we were departing and halfway home my son realized he left his favorite childhood pillow in the hotel Room. This was nearly a disaster until I called the resort, and they quickly shipped it back for free! I definitely would have paid for the shipping since it was my error, but I am very grateful that they sent it and was happy! I believe Rosa was the one that found the pillow so I like to also take her very much!

One star for overall location and one for the cleanliness of the room, although seriously dated.BEACHFRONT WANTERS READ: there are only a fee rooms that actually face the lake and those are likely already booked 1-2 years ago!!The beach rules and security is lacking training severely, reception was helpful, but I felt could do more to assist with rectifying their false advertising. What you see in the pictures on their website and on third party sites is of solely their BEST BEACHFRONT ROOM! That is not what they all look like! We wanted to wake in the morning to coffee on the balcony but overlooking the beach. Instead, we were sweetly serenaded to sleep by emergency sirens and bs at the gas station RIGHT NEXT DOOR AND ON THE MAIN ROAD THAT WE WERE ON! The walls are embarrassingly thin. You can hear everyone around you taking. There are no smoking signs everywhere and we got to smell them smoke in the little designated hut right in the courtyard. Anyone walking down the hallway will sound like an earthquake is coming! The beach being on property is convenient, but that’s seriously what you are paying for in the end, along with cleaning. I will say, overall landscaping was very well done and beautiful. Whoever is doing that job, give them the job to help renovate this place and your website

Paid full price for a townhome unit for one night. What a nightmare that turned out to be. First we had problems with our key - Not so bad, next no telephone service - thank goodness we had working cell phones. Next no lightbulbs in lamps - we can live with that for one night. The kicker was no working heaters in either room with overnight temps in the thirties. The front desk did have so one come to look at unit who promised us space heaters and extra blankets - which we later found out out to our dismay when we arrived back to our unit was not provided. And of course the front desk was closed. The next day when we checked out and asked to speak with a manager we were given a card and said to contact during the week. Customer service is seriously lacking at this resort.

I like the spacious king bedroom with a separate living and two bathrooms. The tub was definitely cool with jets and very spacious. I liked that they have a heater from the ceiling that has a timer you can use which was the first Ive ever seen in a hotel. They were very nice when we checked in but the lady in the morning was a bit, how do you say, not bad attitude, she was telling me no bbq for the day because of the snow. I was actually only wanting to ask if they were using propane or if it was charcoal just in case the grills were open. Lol but that was really small. I really like that it wasnt so busy even though this time of year most places are booked and the price was good for two nights. I would definitely come back here.

I just got back from staying at this resort for 2 nights. We stayed in one of the townhouses room 1111. The amenities were good: nice spa, spacious enough for the five of us, clean, two tvs and a private beach. However, there was no AC so it was hard to sleep at night even with 2 fans on and having the slider open. Also, we were facing the main street so it was very noisy. The halls do smell musty but thank goodness the rooms dont. Lastly, I am unsure what happened on the first night (maybe the walls are thin?) because my sister and I were awaken by loud stomping footsteps that sounded like it came from next to our bed. A ghost? People being loud on the third floor at 2am? Not sure...

I loved the place.. it was a birthday present from my bestie as a weekend getaway. The front desk clerk was friendly and very informative and the one bedroom we checked into was beautiful! Had everything, living room, kitchen with breakfast counter and bathroom and the bedroom had its own bathroom too. Our bedroom had its own entrance door to come in and out as well if you were trying to be discreet. Living room and bedroom both had sliding doors with an outside patio and chairs to sit. They had all the necessities you needed. This place had their own tennis court, basketball court, activity room, private beach and you can see the lake. We were near Everything and around the back of the resort was Ski Run Marina which had a lakefront restaurant, cafe and shops too. Gas station on the side, front entrance to the resort was Pizza Hut with a full bar, across the street was Whole foods and other places to shop at. Basically we were where everything is and the casinos were not too far where you can Uber to. Just loved it! We plan to visit again and this time go with our family. I highly recommend this place.

Place is just okay. Upon arrival, room looked clean but upon pulling the blanket back on the bed realized that wasnt the case. Not sure if it was old used sheets on the bed or what, but there were tons of other peoples hair on the pillows and sheets along with a few stains 🤢 Called front desk and the woman was nasty, told me no I couldnt have room cleaned and no I couldnt have clean sheets. I was very annoyed. A few minutes later the manager called my room to apologize and had clean sheets sent up that I put on myself. Room itself was a bit small and cramped but nothing major. We had an 8 day, 7 night stay. 4 days in we got a phonecall letting us know house keeping wouldnt be an option during our stay, guess there was a problem or shortage with housekeeping staff. So no room cleaning or anything during our weeklong stay. This was very unacceptable to me. After visiting the beach and what not the room definitely needed vacuuming. Rooms themselves are pretty outdated and can really use a face lift. Wont be coming here to stay again considering all the other options in a similar price range.The location is great, its right on the beach. Premises have an outdoor pool and sauna and tennis courts. Staff (besides the first woman I encountered) was very friendly.

We were at Tahoe Beach and Ski for the 4th of July week 2017. The staff did an extraordinary job of making the place enjoyable in the face of huge crowds. The facility was kept immaculate and every contact with staff was polite and friendly. The Tahoe Beach & Ski is a great place to relax and recharge. Rooms are clean and spacious, but you likely wont find yourself spending too much time in them because the private beach on the lake is great and there are plenty of nearby dining, shopping and exploring opportunities a short walk away. All the staff were very friendly. I enjoyed getting to do some of the activities that the activities director had organized throughout the week (hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps on the beach, bingo, Christmas ornament crafting, etc.).The room was well furnished and supplied with basic kitchen needs and they provided complimentary coffee, tea, popcorn, and hot chocolate. The walls are very thin so be prepared to hear what ur neighbors are up to or at least their comings and goings. One downside was the bathroom. I guess I was placed in a room fit for disabled persons so there was a giant stall with a pull down chair but no bath tub. Being on vacation, I was kind of looking forward to a nice hot bath after playing in the snow but that wasnt possible.Also, if you get too hot, you need to call the front desk and theyll send someone over to turn off your heater. Not a huge deal but when it got super warm at like 3 am, I wasnt really dressed nor did i feel like having some random person come through my room. I wish they had supplied basic directions or something so I could control the thermostat myself.The pool was heating and well kept so it was enjoyable even in the cold. They have fire pits that arent always on but were nice to hangout at when they were on. Theres a small playground area for kids but one of the slides was boarded up and there was some tape on one of the metal handles, it seemed little broken down.The location is great since its near quite a few good restaurants, a couple grocery stores, and the casinos.Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would probably stay again.

Long story short, do not recommend. First off, we didnt book this as a timeshare, it was just a weekend stay. We are super disappointed with the room for the price. Its definitely worn down and an older place that has only been kept up so much. The rooms are clean, but if you stay for less than a week you dont get any housekeeping. They said if we wanted new towels we had to bring the used ones to the front desk for an even exchange. Theres no way Im walking my towels out of our building and driving them to the office just to drive the clean ones back.Our room has newer stuff in the kitchen and bathroom, but walking the hallways and certain aspects of our room are old and worn. It was $360 for two nights, and Im pissed we spent this much money here. Our friends stayed down the road, in newer rooms that were cheaper and came with free breakfast and wifi. It is nice you have a beach here, but hardly any of the rooms have a view. We stayed the weekend of Thanksgiving, and a lot of the hotels up here are sold out, but this isnt even half empty. You can tell by the empty parking lots and no lights on in the rooms. With all the other options in tahoe we wont stay here again.

This is a covid review. Im sure its nicer to stay here when there is no covidSo a lot of weird things occured to me at this place that have never happened to me at any hotel ive stayed at. First off, ADDED FEES. Most places dont do this. I was surprised to learn that what I already payed online wasnt enough. There were multiple extra charges. Ohh and there was a hold on my credit card for our stay like I was21 all over again.Second is this place is loud and the hotel doesnt help you out. We were given a room directly next to the elevator and maids closet. It wouldnt have been an issue but the door to our room was not sealed, at all, and we could hear every conversation, every footstep, every scream, every door being closed. It was ridiculous. When we turned off the light to our room we could see the hallway lights peek thru all the way around the door.3rd is checkout is super early for south lake tahoe, 10 am. And check in is super late, 6pm Maybe this is because of covid. But my big issue is Sunday morning we were a little slow. And at 10:10 we got a call on our room phone kicking us out of our room. I found that extremely rude considering the next person wasnt going to be able to even come into our room until 6pm.And on top of everything all the amenities were closed. No pool. No spa. No tennis. No bbq.I believe without covid this would have been a great place to stay. But unfortunately I wont be back to seeI left 3 stars out of respect for their business

The resort is clean and grounds are maintained well. The location in South Lake Tahoe is perfect. A Safeway is within walking distance. The unit was nice and clean. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the room has a box fan, which we used for white noise at nighf. The amenities, activities and resort offerings were not worth the daily resort fee required through our RCI exchange. If the weather had been warmer, we probably would have spent more time at the beach; however, the wind was not inviting. I was also attempt manipulation on the current fire dangers in the area at the time. They were all clueless. The GM Jeff also lied to me when he told me we were still on red flag today. I even gave him a chance to come clean and told him I have already verified with the fire department. We couldnt order a kitchen and I have 5 other mouths to feed. Our one bedroom townhouse unit was in the beachfront building 5. It had a spiral staircase to the upstairs bedroom. For those having difficulties with stairs, the bedroom has a separate entrance from the second floor hallway which has elevator access. Goodness. Our condo did not have screens on the windows, you couldn’t open them for security reasons and bugs. There were no towels or pot holders in the kitchen which we didn’t know until we preparing dinner and needed a potholder to remove food from the toaster oven. The drawers in the kitchen were not installed correctly and fell out when you used them. My hubby fixed them all. They slurries the parking lot so for 3 days there was not enough parking. They didnt issue wristbands at checkin so we could use the beach, fitness center etc. We had to go back and request them. The staff decided to move a bar b q to a location about 4 feet from where were laying out on the beach and clean it and this was the first 3 days. I didn’t mention the goose poop that was all over the beach. You couldn’t walk on it because the poop was so dense on the beach. We won’t stay here again.

It is not a hustle and bustle place to stay unlike the one next door timeshare to the north. Parking spot is always easy to find next you your unit and the place is more relaxing and quiet. They have their own strip of private beach not open to the public so you dont have to worry about the crowds and traffic. Very good place to stay at. Me and my family really enjoyed it there. But i feel that place is haunted. We stayed on the 2nd floor. During early morning hours around 3-4am all three of us can clearly hear footsteps in our room. At first i thought it was the floor above us but the sound was perfectly clear as if the steps are 8 feet in frount of us. This was loud enough to where it woke all of us up, so i walked out of the room and went outside to see if there were any lights on up stairs or people partying so i can calm my 5 year down. I figured it may be the weather or something. But the next night it happened again but it was louder. My son ran to the bedroom door to close it because he was scared 😂. All together it was a fun place to stay at. And having pizza hut next door and KFC across the street was great. The hotel also has events take place so check up on it before you head out because some of the events are fun. Another thing is the beach is private and very close so its definitely a bonus.

A local shop owner stated that Tahoe always scrambles and panics for the first 2 weeks of winter as they figure out how to deal with snow again.While we were there I wanted to give this resort a 1 star review I was so upset with them. My complaint is major, and part of me wants to give them 3 stars, but I enjoyed my time in Tahoe so much it gained them an extra star.Most people who are staying here in the winter are here to visit the snow, because they dont have snow where that are from. So when I called the front desk and asked for a shovel to dog my car out I was told they cant because its a liability, which is BULL, have me sign a liability waiver and lend me a shovel to dig out my dang car. The real reason is they dont want to lose shovels or have people break shovels, a staff member mentioned to himself in passing that they couldnt find a shovel which is why we dont lend them.Well if you lend them, youd know where they went off to. Dont make someone from Los Angeles buy a snow shovel at CVS that they will have to store in their tiny apartment in the off chance they go up to the snow again sometime in the future.Seriously, take it upon yourself and buy a few more shovels for people that are traveling from non-snow places, and lend them out in a way that allows you to keep track of those shovels rather than make us buy our own and be unable to return them because theyve been used. In not a liability issue its a cheapness issue, and it shows.

We purchased a week on our honeymoon in 1986. Although we changed to the points system, we try to vacation here every year or every other. A perfect location to hike, bike, explore or just hang out. Lots of great family memories happened here and were looking forward to many more.

1)Kitchenettes are a microwave sink and mini fridge. No way to cook anything for the whole week!2)The jacuzzi had thick amounts scum that lined the exposed tile, tons of sand and murky water. So dirty.3)The balconies are sloped at an angle towards rickety railings that will probably fall over if you touch them and they are adorned with signs that say No smoking and please do not lean on railing4) our room was next to a very loud main streetBuilding looks nice in some areas and others are falling apart.Minimalist type of accommodations and service.

Even as a timeshare owner who is sometimes permitted to reserve my week as much as two years in advance, its difficult to get my desired choice of rooms, its very busy here in the summer into September. Any room that faces, or is in earshot of the Marina side of the resort, AkA back alley side of the Ski Run Marina restaurants is noisey as heck in the wee hours of the morning. Dumpster trucks. Charter fisherman shoveling ice.Theyve finished a near-decade long program of remodeling and updating all the rooms and the amenities around the resort. However, my particular room Im sitting right now is looking a bit ragged already. Yes, the granite countertops and high-end fixtures are nice, but the carpet is shot and stained, and Ive set two of the chairs out in the hallway as the upholstery is just to cruddy to look at, let alone sit in. Apparently some guests who are not owners dont treat the rooms with respect, and it seems that its more than the cleaning staff can handle during the busy parts of the season.There is a near-constant drama-fest in my inbox and time it gets near election season for the owners association board of directors. Always between owner-board members who want to maintain the status quo and shill candidates from the big evil timeshare company Diamond resorts who supposedly wants to come in and wreck everything, and somehow cause us to lose our private beach.I mainly use my room/week as a place to crash and have breakfast, and a springboard for adventures far away from the resort. However, anything that disrupts this otherwise heavy sleeper, is brought up with the management, and they are VERY responsive. They try their best, but when the place is booked up solid, theres not much else theyre able to do.There is no air conditioner ANYWHERE on the premises. This comes as a surprise to a lot of pasty city dwellers, you see their heads nearly explode when they learn this anytime one needs to pay a visit to the lobby. Come on, its Lake Tahoe, its colder here in the summer than anywhere you possibly came from, enjoy the amazing fresh air! Besides, growling AC units in the middle of the night would just be one more noise problem.When you are fortunate enough to luck your way into one of the beach and lake view rooms, all is perfect no noise! But best of luck getting in there.I intend to keep my timeshare here indefinitely, its been in my family since the early 1990s. This place isnt perfect, but its better than any of the fleabag motels up and down the Blvd that look like theyve needed to have been torn down in the 60s.The resort is soundly, competently and conservatively run in financial terms. We owners get our financial statements in a timely basis, and the place is always run well into the black, and proceeds seem to always be banked for later capital improvements. The employees are helpful and cheerful, many are lifers, so Im assuming theyre paid well.I would summarize that all of my complaints with this resort are symptoms of its popularity. Hopefully other guests are as vocal as I am when things just arent right, and with a little tuning from management, should improve. Also a more judicious selection of when I book my time to avoid the peak of the season is in order.

Tula the security lady was very rude when my truck was running without me inside personally attacking me, calling me a liar and threatening to call cops for no reason. General manager was called who kicked us out even though we had 7 nights left on our booking.Edit: general manager made it right with my husband. Still cannot recommend this hotel, especially with the rude security guard.

The property is right on the lake and they have such a nice spot to go enjoy the beach. There are beautiful, new and huge fire pits and grills. Whenever we had a need or question, the staff was prompt and helpful.

Took my wife there for her birthday weekend, Love it. Love the rooms, one with big livingroom comes kitchen behind has a bathroom with shower, also bedroom with a Jacuzzi my favorite part, and also has lots of activities, skeeing, bike riding, jetskeeing ECT. I definitely recommend this place for anybody that would take there family to Lake Tahoe!!!!..

The one bedroom is spacious, nice set up, gorgeous view of the lake except couch is too old which make you itchy and as soon as were going to bed I saw lots of hair in the bed sheet and blanket. Who ever used this room last disnt even put out the dirty blanket out they leave itin tge drawer. So disappointed. Reminder to everybody, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BEDSHEETS AND BLANKET IF THEY CHANGE BEFORE YOU SLEEP ON IT.

Great location with plenty of restaurants and places to hang out and relax. Rode the chair lift up in the mountains.. it was fun.. dont know how but while driving around it drive up in the mountains. The drive was awesome, there were places where you can stop and enjoy the view of the lake.. worth it.

Really good condo for Heavenly. Well laid out interior. Close to ski bus route at $2/trip, so it can add up if you have a party of 4, as its in each direction. Not really walkable to the gondola. Some rooms have full kitchen, others only microwave and no dishwasher. Our 1 bedroom condo only had plates/utensils numbering exactly 4 rach, so it was inconvenient b/c of constant washing of dishes by hand. Overall I would stay here again but would choose full kitchen with dishwasher.

Quaint, but could use upgrades. The carpet smelled in the hallways, the heater in the living room didnt work despite the service man coming to fix it. No premium cable available, no full kitchens. The activities were not very entertaining either. It was just an average place to lay ones head.

We stayed here for two nights. It snowed both nights and we had a beautiful view. Its a different style of place. Its similar to a hotel, except our room had a spiral staircase connecting the two levels. Its a nice place.

This is a good place to stay in, the 1 bedrooms have good space, we have 2 seperate full bathrooms, one bathroom has a jucuzzi tub. Upstairs has a private balcony, TV, chair, nice queen bed. Downstairs has a sofa bed, dinning table and chairs, TV. There is a pool, 2 hot tubs, pool table, ping pong tables, tennis courts, game rooms, grass area, and a private beach. There are a few things missing: No AC only ceiling fans, and a floor fan, but it doesnt get really hot up here. Theres a small kitchen with a almost full-size refrigerator, sink, cupboards, utensils, full-size microwave, and a toaster oven. But theres no dishwasher, and no stove, no pots and pans, you have to wash the dishes yourself, and if you need to, you can use the barbecue grills outside to cook any meat you buy. So this place is between a hotel room and a condominium. If you bring a hot plate and your own pots and pans, or use the grill outside, and or eat out, you can refrigerate the leftovers and reheat them in the microwave. Or if you know how, you can cook in the microwave oven.

I booked a room in December for Memorial Day weekend. My inlaws decided to join us so I booked them an available townhouse at the resort on April 20. The night before we left for our trip I got a phonecall from the hotel desk manager saying They were doing renovations and they didnt complete in time so our room was not available. I clarified with manager I had booked 2 rooms/2 reservations - a room and a townhouse so as long as one was available we could pile all into one. He said both were unavailable. (Im pretty sure this can be interpreted as we overbooked for the weekend and someone else got priority over me) He offered to move us to a more expensive resort without charging us or could refund us. I asked if it was on the lake and he said no. This was my 80+ yo inlaws request to see Lake Tahoe before they die and was the only reason they chose to come on this west coast trip with us - to see Lake Tahoe. They arent able to get out and about easily so we wanted something ON the lake. I frantically called around knowing most lakefront properties were already booked for holiday weekend but was able to find 2 rooms for us, my inlaws, and my 2 kids, at a competing resort on the lake. I called back and told manager to process refund on both rooms and he said he would. The following week I noticed refund on my online credit card account for only ONE room (the less expensive one). I called and was reassured that the other room was processed. The following week I called and was told he apologized but had sent an email and it would be processed that week. I called again and have 3 voicemails from manager telling me the refund was processed on the second room. Three weeks later I called parent company (Resorttime) who informs me the room was never cancelled and still shows as pending. My frustration was relayed to supervisor who said they would process refund today and receive in 3-5 business days. Ive been told that for 3 weeks now but hopefully I at least get my money back but I definitely wont be staying at Tahoe Beach and Ski Club or a Resortime property after this hassle.

Love the room set up where you and the wife stay upstairs and the kids are downstairs on the couch with a kitchenette and separate bathroom and TV. The spiral staircase is an amazing part of the whole experience perfectly located between the ski resorts and the beach with tons of activities for kids to do at no extra charge

Nice spot in SOMA, lot of food trucks and facilities to order drinks. They have toiled and hand sanitizer stations around. In the back you can find a lot of space and tables to enjoy your food and the day. You can also rent a fire pit with your friend (a bit overpriced though).

The hallways have such a stink to them your gagging, from the time you walk in from outside or as soon as you walk out of your room.Total loss of credibility is how they handle lost & find. I doubt very seriously there is a find to it. They have an outside company where you have to go online, fill out an unbelievable form, and finally, you are going to expect the housekeeper submitted your lost items into a computer. I doubt it, especially when after 30 days, they can go home with items.This place is so lazy their housekeeping dept cant even take a phone call to talk to a guest about left behind items, not lost items, left behind in room.After working both sides of the hospitality industry, front office to Director of Sales & as a Corporate Meeting & Special Events Coordinator for executives of Fortune 500 companies, thru out NA, I have little faith in this so called policy of a middle man for something as simple as Lost & Found.

My favorite vacation spot. There is a private sandy beach with lounge chairs available. It is located next door to Ski Run Marina which is a major boat/jet ski rental place and home to some shops and restaurants. There are several charter boats available at the marina, but no more Tahoe Queen.
