I made one call and worked with Chris who is extremely knowledgeable and has a good grasp on the debt management & consolidation process. He walked me through the dashboard, videos and I also had a welcome call with another representative from Beyond who was very helpful. Dante has been incredibly human, sincere and honestly, he “kept it real” throughout the process. I appreciated how he talked about this as a real problem but had real solutions and options to consider. Please do not give them your phone number if you do not intend to Receive their services. As a person that declined their services, (I spoke with James) Every single day I get probably 8 to 10 spam calls. all different numbers So I cannot block them. This all started the moment I declined their service. Actually, probably the next day. Never happened before, and it has been happening every day ever since. It is harassment, And I have no way to stop it because they use bots to do it. So please be very careful with symple lending. It is very unprofessional and childlike behavior. They don’t even give me enough time to say don’t call me before they hang up.

Total scam. Pre-approval, yeah right.So I called to consolidate my bills into one payment. My credit score is over 700. Theyre not going to give you a damned dime. Just like many others on this reviews first by foremost stay away from Symple Lending. They too sent me a pre-approved letter with a fake looking check not real of course for $25,000 and they make it sound easy to fill out get offers and select terms and receive your funds. Symply Not The Truth Lending! These are just another mail order predator that intentionally lied and misleading the people out here. They never intend to give you a dime. What they really want to do is give you a debt consolidation loan after you so call are denied the traditional loan and 99% will be denied funding despite their so called approval and this is nothing short of bait and switch tactics and creates another inquiry on your credit report. I say join me in a lawsuit and hold them accountable with the documents they sent us. I already was told this was highly illegal as they say I was pre-approved and failed to comply and their basis for my pre-approved status is unproven to the offer itself. Also the rude woman hung up on me when I told her the bluff is on them and never gave me another say on the conversation. These places and other so called loans are and should be held accountable. Am encouraging anyone to seek accountability for an offer that was never to be full filled and proven illegal tactics to your attorneys in your region. I am fed up with their lies and preying on people who already stressed and teasing and wasting and defrauding my time and yours. Lets shut them down now! Report them to every forum such as BBB (Better Business Bureau also Ripoff Report dot com and there are others. I also sent copies to my state lending and loans division for investigations and they were highly interested and were quite upset at how I was done by these people. Also am contacting the Federal Tade Commission and congress if need be. They shouldnt have lied and played around with me. They got the right one this time. Dont get mad folks take them to court and file reviews and reports to all the listed organizations I mentioned. They should have did what their intent letter said and not bait and switched and commit illegal advertising and false pretenses. Ha!

I filled out one of their online applications in response to a mailed invitation. A few hours later, I get an alert on my ID theft protection agency. I call Symple and speak to a person named James. I explain what happened and ask a few questions. He hung up on me. Perhaps it was just a coincidence but I found out that my SSN had been compromised. Someone had applied for a Playstation Visa. I contacted the appropriate agencies and placed a freeze on my credit. Why did he hang up on me?

After not being qualified for a personal loan, he suggested a loan consolidation and allowed me to choose what I wanted included in the program! This Company is dishonest !! They sent me a letter saying that I was pre-approved for 20,000 and I filled out the loan application they texted me an hour later and said that they denied me and all they said was LOAN DENIED in capital letters and did not give me a reason. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! You see that I can use capital letters also. I will be filing a complaint to the Better Buisness Bureau.

Just get your information to run your line of credit for different companies for offers. And to top it off the 5.95% interest is a gimmick to get you to call them, not meant for people trying to reduced monthly debt or paymentsWaisted my credit check, especially when you have a 760 credit score and only want to consolidate 17K they offered a 35% interest rate from several different credit companies blowing up my emails and spam calls have been horrendous since trying to consolidate! Don’t use!

On 14 Jan 2024 I submitted an online application for a loan precipitated by a USPS delivered flyer with an offer for said loan and a website address with a special offer number based on my being pre-qualified. I applied and was texted my loan offer was waiting, but that the business was closed. I responded that I would be available to speak by phone today, 15 Jan 2024 after 9am PDT. Unfortunately, I had an emergency come up that made me unavailable until later in the day.Symple Lending used Artificial Intelligence to phone me from different phone numbers in a harassing manner beginning at 739am, then again at 829am, then 900am, 1005am, 1256pm, and at 118pm, the last call I finally answered (I heard the last three calls), and a woman said, hello after I said, hello, and then hung up the phone. I did give explicit permission for this company to contact me after 9am today, 15 Jan 2024, but not to call my number repeatedly by robodial and not leave a message in a harassing manner, and particularly when I answered the phone, to not engage me. Under no circumstances did I give permission for this company to call me prior to 9am today.I made an outbound, recorded call to Symple Lending at 218pm and before inquiring about my loan application, told the loan rep about the calls received and he admitted that his company engages in AI robo calls from different numbers that do not leave messages and excused that harassing behavior that my choice to fill out the application gave his Symple Lending permission to engage in such telephone harassment. Calling repeatedly from different numbers without leaving a message is a definition of telephone harassment, and I told him he was wrong.He became so insolent, and in essence ignored what I said. His solution was to unilaterally put me on their companys do not call list, fully ignore their companys breaking Californias telephone harassment laws, and that I called to discuss my loan application. I requested to speak to a manager. He first denied my request by telling me no manager was at his offices, then one became available as I insisted to speak with manager. I likely should have got off the phone at that point.This manager took a few minutes but took the same tact as the loan rep, acting passive aggressively and ultimately solving the situation by unilaterally putting me on their do not call list and telling me his company will not do business with me.I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filed a police report for telephone harassment with my local police department.What I cannot reconcile is the ratings of 3.4 at the Better Business Bureau are significantly lower than ratings on Google.Now I see from reading reviews that their products are not loans, but debt consolidation. If that in fact is true, it explains why they are so sleazy in engaging in telephone harassment.

I was told they would be taking over my credit cards right away but that is not the case. Waste of time. Bait and switch. They are called SYMPLE lending because they’re looking for simple people. Advertised as a loan offer, but it’s really a backend debt consolidation company. They don’t disclose clearly that they negotiate your debt down while it also tanks your credit for approximately 6 months or more. Racking up late payments and creditors calling. They also ask for your bank account info over the phone BEFORE even sending out loan documents. Do not ever give out that information, especially over the phone. The person helping me went from hot to cold real quick. If you are completely maxed out and willing to take the risk for lower payments because you are drowning in debt, this may be an option and decent program (but your credit will get exponentially worse before it gets better 1-2yrs to regain credit worthiness). If you’re just someone looking for a LOAN (what they advertised) or a better interest rate to save money and maintain your current credit worthiness-this is a scam. They don’t care which group you fall into or what your goals are, and that’s what makes this disingenuous. They ask you that “goals” question in the beginning so they can frame their mark, not actually work for YOUR best interest. Those people know you have better options, but will try and convince you that you don’t. Bankruptcy is a better option for most who fell on a temporary hardship.

First they ask you what your credit score is just to run a soft pull on your credit only to tell you you were not approved. Shame on me for knowing better and still having a glimmer of faith. Very nice people to deal with. However, they are not a direct lender and try to get you into a debt consolidation plan where you stop paying all of your credit cards and then you make payments to Symple Lending and they negotiate and pay the now closed credit accounts. This is great for a person who is unable to pay their debt. They negotiate a smaller balance and slowly pay off your debt which can take years (plus they charge you a fee on each of your current balances). This does tank your credit score. If you are able to pay the minimums; a debt consilation loan is the better option.

Credit score is normally in the mid 700’s but has been in the 690s due to credit balances being near the limit.I was working with Giuliano and the conversation started off well. I provided the necessary information they needed, he sent it to underwriting and ultimately came back with a couple options.He showed me 4 loans, all of which where 25%-35% apr, then told me my credit score was in the low 600s. He then went on a pitch about this debt consolidation company that they are obviously being commissioned heavily from. In case you don’t know, consolidation programs close all of your accounts and negotiates better terms. It essentially acts as miniature bankruptcy, leads to a hit in your credit and closes all of your accounts. I had to PRY that information out of him. He Was 100% trying to convince me that using that program was my best option.Once I made it clear I was not getting that service, he became very short and obviously annoyed. He said I would receive an email with the details on the other loans, and essentially hung up on me.Once I received those emails from the lenders directly, 3/4 loans where more than 10% APR cheaper. One of the offers came in at 14% compared to the 25% Symple was claiming. I ultimately accepted that loan, but went out of my way to apply for it directly from the lender so symple would not receive a referral.I would highly recommend not doing business with this company. They are out to make themselves the most money while incorrectly advising on what you should be doing.

Stay far away from this company. I repeat its a SPAM. I called because I recieve a letter about a loan that would help me get out of debt. He told me that it would go to the underwriting department for determination but he put me on hold and came back to say I wasnt approve after he did a soft pull on my credit. The whole time he knew that they just wanted to help fix my credit he said if I pay them my credit would be fix in 7 months. Thats the whole point of me getting a loan because I know how to fix my own credit. Seem to me he seem more like a sales representative than trying to help me figure out the problem. He was rude and tried to down play me as if I was a child talking about he a bit older than me and Im a bit younger when explaining to me about my credit like I dont understand it. This was a complete waste of my time and please stop sending out these letters misleading people.

I called after much thought and researching because I dont have the best credit and I was looking at options for loans to make repairs to my home and pay some medical bills. I am already in a debt consolidation program with another company, but when I researched Symple Lending I found that they also offer home improvement and personal loans. That is not entirely accurate.I was basically told that because I was already in a debt consolidation program they couldnt help me. I told them I am looking for a loan to make house repairs, etc. As it was explained to me, they probably wouldnt be able to help me because of the debt consolidation program even though my credit score has been improving. I get that, I really do, but their mailings and website are misleading in saying that is only one option. The advocate I talked to didnt even try to see if I could qualify for any kind of loan.What it seems like it boils down to is pretty much only debt consolidation.

I received correspondence in the mail to take out a personal loan that i was preapproved for to consolidate my debt in the amount of $50,000. I have excellent credit as well does my husband and we wanted to take advantage of this offer to consolidate and lower our higher credit interest rates we currently have. I responded to the correspondence with the activation code on the letter that said i was already pre-approved then i receive a text saying they will get with me later on with a live rep. I received a phone call asking me for my credit info, job info, ss# etc as well as my husbands info. Then the rep on the phone starts asking questions about how much we have in our bank accounts and asks how much money we can give them today towards our debt consolidation. I then became suspicious and asked why would they need money from me today if Im doing a loan for a debt consolidation? It turns out it isnt a loan for $50,000 they are actually scamming customers with this info so we will call them, give them our info and then approve us for $20,000 with an interest rate of 20%. so the original correspondence saying you are preapproved for $50,000 with an interest rate of 5.95% is an absolute lie and scam to get you to call. My credit score as well as my husbands is 800 so we know would qualify for extremely low rates if we take out a loan. So it turns out they are just a debt consolidation company lookiing to make money off of you. They are not a lending company but a debt consolidation company. So my excellent credit score is being lowered because they run my credit. SCAM absolute Scam!!
