The receptionist was very hospitable as I was a bit late. I got seen pretty quickly to get my vitals as well as seeing the nurse practitioner. The nurse practitioner seem to be a little curt with me and felt a little intimidated. I hope to have a different experience next time, As I love this ability to have a quick walk-in appointment.

I am disgusted. The place is called walk-in care but when we walked in as soon as it opened at 11am and they told us We dont take walk ins. There were no other patients there only myself and my daughter and another lady and her son. I asked them since there is no-one else here can these kids get seen?Andrea and the other front office worker were incredibly rude and extremely unhelpful. This place is a disgrace and this place is such a bad representation of Sutter health. I myself, a RN, employed by Sutter. I have never encountered 2 medical professionals that were so rude, unhelpful, and an embarrassment to Sutter health. Were the front office workers not taught to be respectful to patients? I would NOT recommendthis place to anyone. After leaving here myself & my daughter went to Dignity Health in San Bruno. They were very busy but couldnt have been nicer and incredibly helpful. Very disappointed to have to write this.

Absolutely great experience from the moment of my walk in arrival. They saw me within minutes and everyone was friendly, competent and comprehensive in their duties. I was in and out in a matter of minutes having been diagnosed and a prescription ordered and on its way from my pharmacy. This was far easier than I could ever have anticipated as usually attending to last minute illnesses can be pretty challenging. I am very pleased.

I am very grateful for the the Sutter walk-in care located in San Bruno off of Cherry Avenue! I am grateful because it has become increasingly difficult to get appointments with our doctors in general. Thankfully, they are here to assist on a daily basis, whereas having to wait for an appointment 2 to 3 weeks has become the new norm. A big thank you to the team of nurses, doctors and receptionist who are on this team at this location!

Very thankful that there are health care providers available at after hours on the weekend. As sometimes health care needs require immediate attention and we don’t have time to wait hours and hours at the hospital emergency room. The staffs are very efficient, welcoming and professional. I was able to make an appointment on the same day, greeted immediately and seen immediately after checking in. I was seen by an NP who is very kind and professional. I was very thankful for all that they do at this clinic helping patients.after hours. The clinic is very clean, nice and modern as well. Thank you again!

I feel like my visit was a complete waste of time. I went into my appointment pretty confident that I needed antibiotics based on my symptoms. I had a really strong gut feeling that I had a sinus infection based on years of having them before. This was the worst Ive had in a long time -- my sinus pressure was so terrible I couldnt sleep. I had headaches for two days straight. The provider only recommended Sudafed (which actually made me feel even worse) and said I would only be given antibiotics if I had my symptoms for TEN days. The next day, I called the clinic back because I knew Sudafed wasnt going to be enough. After waiting 6 hours for a call back (which didnt even happen until 2:00pm the next day), I sought care elsewhere and thank goodness I did. I received the antibiotics I needed and felt better within 5 days. Im so glad I trusted MY instinct and sought care elsewhere, rather than suffer when I didnt need to. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to this clinic in the future, or recommend it to anyone I know.

I was greated with a warm and welcoming hello. I was able to be seen by a nurse practitioner with in less than an hour. She also was warm and welcoming. She reviewed my chart and did a thorough exam for my concern. My issue was addressed and it was taken care of with a couple of prescriptions. This is a wonderful facility. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and took care of my need with pure sincerity.

Finally an urgent care that gets it done correctly; effective and efficient! I went because I had all the symptoms of covid but not covid according to home test. I was able to schedule online a specific time slot during hours that Im awake (meaning a little later in the day) instead of just doing walk in.They called to make sure I knew I had to be there within 5 minutes of my appointment. When I arrived, i was brought to the back quickly. I liked that there were no other patients in the waiting room as Ive been to others where it was packed.The assistant took my vitals and verified what I was in there for. After she left the nurse practitioner came to see me. She provided me with info for home remedies and told me what to look out for. I was prescribed medication that I needed, and it was called into my pharmacy. Everyone I came in contact with were very pleasant and professional. I also appreciated that they were close to my house.

Needed to use the video visit option because my local Sutter Walk-In was not accepting walk ins. Was able to get a video visit fairly quickly and the appointment went well. However my NP said she would call in a prescription and forgot. Three hours later I had to call and sort it all out in order to get the prescription filled. A few hours less of a needed antibiotic because someone forgot is frustrating.

I went to Sutter walk in care yesterday for what turned out to be a cold. I’m so glad I could get an appointment so quickly. The staff was very welcoming and showed me great care in listening to my problems. The visit put my mind at ease that my illness wasn’t serious.

Walk in care was so professional and simple. About 15 min before my appointment, a lovely lady called in to check me in. Right on time, my practitioner appeared on the video call. She confirmed I did not have a more serious condition, so I could qualify for the video call. With in 15 minutes, she diagnosed me, provided advice, and prescribed medication. She answered questions I had and relieved any concerns I had. I highly recommend walk in care, video visits especially for appointments where a patient could present contagious, to protect the practitioners and others at the clinic. Keep up this practice!

I arrived 7 minute after my appointment because I could not find this clinic - this clinic is sandwiched between a pizza store and a ramp at the entrance to a plaza of restaurants. The receptionist said she could not check me in because I was 2 more minutes late than their 5 minute policy, which was not stated anywhere on my appointment. She acknowledged that the doctor was available and not seeing anyone, but she refused to check me in even though I did not need the full 20 min appointment. If the concept of an URGENT care clinic was to help a patient in need, this clinic does not care.

I had booked an appointment in the app. The appointment was very efficient. I did the intake over the phone from my car and then saw a doctor very quickly. The space is really nice and clean and I was in and out in 20 minutes. I usually hate seeing doctors but this positive experience assuaged my concerns. Id gladly book and go to this location again.

Chilly reception from woman at the desk when I asked if there were any other available apts so I could get a flu shot along with my daughter. She laughed and said “we don’t have any walk-ins, that’s why we have you schedule ahead of time”. I said I understood that but it couldn’t hurt to ask. She was also curt and abrupt as I gave her out daughter’s name as we checked in. She was competent but not particularly warm or friendly.

I went to this facility for an appointment. The building was very clean with a great air filtering system. Exceptional customer service from the registered nurse who also gave me the shot. I was finished with my appointment in about 15-20 minutes tops. Im so glad this location is now open because its conveniently located near me instead of having to drive to San Mateo. I definitely plan to return to this location in the future should I need to.

When I arrived for my scheduled appt no one was at the front desk. I was knocking on the door for ten minutes. There were several people in the same position. Once someone finally opened the door no apologies or acknowledgment. Not even a hello. Only asked what we needed and if we had an appt. Mentioned this to the nurse I saw and she did not acknowledge it either. Not the first time I’ve had this experience at this clinic.

This is the second time that I had my second booster here. I noticed that when when my husband and I were at the door, the Sutter Health representative opened the door right away and let us in upon knowing we had appointment. She handed us forms to fill out.The last time I had my 1st booster in September 2021, some people came in straight to the counter and asked the representative. They left probably they didn’t have appointment.I like how the representative meet people on 4/06/2022. I gave her 5-Star. She prevents contamination inside if people come in and go if they have no appointment. The place is accessible, clean and follow protocol. After we got vaccinated, we were allowed to stay inside the room for 15 or 20 minutes.

‘Walk-in care’ office that does not take walk-ins, or even help you as a fellow person. Its performance art.A nurse (the only medically trained person here) and 2 assistants actually hid behind doors when I walked in (no patients were there at the time). Guessing they do not want covid (fine), but I wore a mask and did not have covid symptoms - I had poison oak that needed to be treated (timely) - no patients were there, the nurse was hiding, and they told me to come back in 3 hours!In reading these reviews, they seem to do well in filling out paperwork and sending you to a medical practictioner - what?Do online video doctor appt somewhere for real help (much quicker, and less frustrating then watching these people pretend to work).EDIT:The company responded to this review, saying walk-ins do not have to wait on-site and can check in online or by phone. Its misleading - the phone tree takes about 20 minutes (I timed it), sends you to the receptionist at this location (who is not there, as we all know) and it goes to actual voicemail. So I went online, and the website advises you to walk-in!Mostly their response to my review doesnt defer to fact that most (if not all) walk-in clinics (by design) allow you to wait ahead of other people who also walked in, inherent in its name.Im passionate about this, since I firmly believe the Sutter walk-in clinic is maybe preventing competition from opening in same neighborhood (not sure), but for sure misleading the neighborhood to think its an option in a minor emergency. I just have to say I despise Sutter Health. I’ve been with Kaiser my entire life and four years ago decided to switch to Sutter Health-I deeply regret my decision. At my first clinic in Oakland the receptionist was gossiping about someone at her desk in front of waiting patients. Fast forward to December 2022-I had a severe sore throat, I’d taken two Covid home tests and both showed as negative so I thought maybe it was strep. Nurse tells me I should do a pcr test, I hesitate to agree but okay decided just to take it. She tells me I’ll have the results in a few days. Here we are middle of January 2023-still no Covid results. I’d asked the same nurse if I could do a TB test for work. She informs me that they are short staffed and they might not be there to read my results in three days. I decided to go all the way out in the boondocks of San Bruno via public transportation which is a three hour trip back and forth. I got my test on Tuesday they said come back Thursday after 12 or Friday before 12. Thursday I decided to trek out to San Bruno to get my results, I arrived at 4pm and the clinic was closed! Online and on the door it says the clinic is open until 7:00. Nope. It’s not. I wasn’t able to get my results read and now have to trek out to the clinic for three hours back and forth again today when I have so many other things I need to be doing. They sure are quick to remind me how much money I owe them though even though their “care” is absolutely non existent. I’m switching back to Kaiser.

Super fast flu shot! The place was spotless and comfortable. I told the nurse Im a bit of a fainter, so she reclined the exam chair for me and let me take my time afterward to be sure I wasnt going to keel over. (Spoiler: no keelage.) She was lovely and so friendly and thoughtful. I was in and out of there in about ten minutes. Id definitely go back.

I scheduled an appointment for 530P, I arrived at 5:10P and was told to wait outside and someone would help me. 4 more persons walked up and were escorted into the clinic. At 5:30 I was told someone would call me and take my information. Note I had already done this on line, at 6:00p was told it would not be much longer but since I had a sinus infection I would have to wait outside. At 6:20P another person was admitted in front of me at that point I left. At 6:35P my phone rang and was told they could see me now, I advised them I had already left and the lady replied to bad have a nice night. The bottom line is they were scared to death I had covid and was going to infect the clinic. They were hoping I would leave that’s why they refused me entry. I advised them I had a covid test the day before and the test was negative. The staff was unprofessional and uncaring I would not visit this clinic.

Worst customer service! The employees are rude and purposely make things worse. DONT even think of being 10 min late. Not even because youre not feeling well. They will deny the appointment and when you ask for a manager they refuse to provide an email. Instead they take 5-8 min to look for a phone number. I took my 6 yr old to the ER and we were seen within 30 min. Wah better care and no rude employees. Would never return to this place. Avoid it at all cost. Go to the ER instead.

Video Discussion with Brianna Morris to discuss my positive COVID test result and next steps. She explained isolation protocols very clearly. Answered all my questions completely. Prescribed Paxlovid due to my age. Carefully assessed any potential drug interactions. I was extremely pleased with her thoroughness. Only complaint is that it I had to wait > 24 hours for the appointment ... but it wasnt an emergency and my symptoms were minor, so its a small complaint.

Judging by my personal experience today (and a few other recent reviews here) one of the receptionists finds it difficult to treat patients with respect or warmth. I would suggest this person rethink their career choices to something that deals less with people and until they do, prepare to have a rude person greet you.

Nobody there ( in the lobby) asked why i couldnt wait in their lobby ( again nobody was there )was told, because they have sick people in and out . But yet NO DOCTOR on SITEso, ok waited in my car . As I found the next day after the visit I had periorbital cellulitis which is basically a bacterial infection around the eye. The doctor at the clinic told me she has never seen anything like that and that I need to drink Advil. This has to be treated with antibiotics to avoid complications and further infection of the eye and not with just advil.

Popped a positive covid test. I asked about the antiviral pill from Pfizer and my doc said through MyHealth that Im at risk for severe illness due to comorbidities, but I have to do a telehealth visit to get a prescription. So I did that, and the telehealth nurse said they dont prescribe medications over telehealth. So... I messaged m doctor back, and nothing. So I guess Ill just sit here.

The No appointment needed is a lie. I was told that there were too many patients scheduled for the day and they could not see me as a walk-in, and I had a choice of visiting the CVS clinic, the urgent care, or the ER. If I have to book an appointment to be seen, Ill just do it with my PCP.
