My experience was terrific. I made an appointment and was taken back at the time of my scheduled appointment. The doctor was concerned and took care of my medical concern quickly. The entire staff, registration, nurses, were very nice and considerate. Thank you and I am feeling better with your help!

I had a really great experience at Sutter Urgent Care. I made an appointment the morning of (they dont take walk-ins), showed up and was seen within an hour of my appointment time. The front desk was really nice and helpful. I was seen by Dr. Chan and he was wonderful. He listened to me, sent me for an X-ray (which also happened the same day) and he saw me again as soon as the X-ray was done. They fitted me with a brace and gave me instructions for care. This is a really great urgent care facility!

My mother is being cared for by Sutter home nurses, 12:00 pm She was having difficulties breathing. They contacted urgent care on Alhambra, they advise me to take her right away.I rushed her there, I went upstairs gave the receptionist her name. I was met by a very cold receptionist, who then advised me that she was at capacity for the day. I explained to her that my mother was having difficulties breathing, and the Sutter nurses told me to bring her here. Sherolled her eyes, continue to tell me that she was at capacity. I started panicking explaining to her. I need my mother to be seen. She can’t breathe, She told me hold on, she went in the back, On her return, she said OK Have a seat. I asked for wheelchair. She asked me for my drivers license. I said I’m sorry. I rushed out of the house without my wallet.. She stood there and lectured me On their policy, I said I understand Your Policies .please I was just in a rush and in a panic I pulled my phone Out of my back pocket, I said here take this, She said no, I can’t. She told me to hold on again. And she came back later with the wheelchair .It’s unfortunate having somebody this cold and rude work for an urgent care. The doctor couldn’t have been nicer so sweet so kind so patient she wasn’t even in the room with my mom for five minutes and said she need to go to the ED right away! I want to say that doctors name first name was Karen,?I couldn’t remember her last name, but she was the kindest person and I so appreciate her!!!!Sutter should hire a receptionist that Is understanding kind and courteous, especially when you’re working in the urgent care environment, people that are in an urgent situation, would appreciate someone who’s Kind patient and Understanding. like the doctors was.

Went to urgent care because my doctor is not available for a week. Very helpful. Polite staff. Quick testing, covid and xray accomplished promptly. Friendly professional and well informed physician Dr Askew. I was pretty miserable with a rapid onset Covid while recovering from bronchitis. Husband who is a retired physician came with and was also impressed.

I booked an appt an appt mid morning and was able to be seen at 6:15 pm. The facility is easily accessible clean and organized. The waiting room was pleasant, not crowded. Checking in was redundant as I had to fill out everything I did online, on paper by hand, Im even a Sutter patient with my insurance, demographics etc on file and had already given detailed info on why I needed to be seen. The staff was friendly. The physician listened to my symptoms and history that was very relevant to my visit (complex) and came up with a very agreeable treatment plan. As a nurse of 35 years, I have a deep appreciation and understanding of what makes quality care. This is quality care. I have previously been here 2 other times in the past 6 years and those also were also high quality care experiences. I do recommend booking online over walking in if at all possible just so you dont have to possibly experience an excessive wait time as the goal is to see patients who booked on time and to work in any walk in patients.

Excellent experience here! I had an injury while traveling and found this clinic in my network. They were able to schedule me for a same day appointment and the front desk staff was super kind and helpful in getting me set up in their system with paperwork, etc. The doctor saw me at my appointment time, was respectful and competent, and referred me for next steps. I feel confident continuing my diagnostics and care for this injury in the Sutter Health system. Thanks!

I found staff to be not only efficient but caring and personally attentive. The attending physician was excellent and sensitive to my needs. I recommend this unit of health care as an excellent alternative to emergency care if that is a possibility. My congratulations to Sutter Health for this milestone approach to “neighborhood care.”

The ER is an awful place. People are sick, in pain, scared, worried. They may not understand why it takes so long, why others are seen ahead of them. Ive been to this ER before, in 2018, and my experience this time was markedly better. It was busy when I arrived. The check in nurse looked at me enough to notice I was starting to cry and took a second to stop, touch my hand, and assure me I was in the right place no matter what was going on. Another nurse walked around the waiting room and offered people blankets. By the time I first saw the doctor, who was warm and calm and patient, he had already looked at my chart - which meant I did not have to repeat my story, my symptoms, my problems again. Throughout my interaction with him, which were hours apart, he was mindful of my consent, my choice, my buy-in to his treatment plan. I was placed in a room (rather than on a gurney in a hallway, which also happens), which made me aware of how potentially serious my crisis was. While in the room, i could hear what was going on outside. I didnt hear any nurses or doctors complaining, or saying things about patients. I didnt hear any sign of panic, despite multiple announcements of very serious cases coming in. I heard patience and compassion.

I had shingles outbreak. The attendant nurse practitioner prescribed antibiotics (cephalexin and bacitracin), ignorant that shingles are caused by virus and not bacteria. Instead of stopping the shingles, the infection spread. It should be pretty basic that antibiotic do not treat virus infection, and could be harmful. How can someone without basic medical knowledge be prescribing medication?
