Took the ACLS Hybrid course. I was impressed by the manikin automated feedback system! The online course itself is great: accurate, well written, and has an adaptability feature to speed you up if you already are mastering a section or to give you more help if you are struggling in one. 5/5 overall!!

Located inside an office building, a little bit tricky to find. Plenty of parking. Nice building. Office staff are helpful and friendly. The classrooms are comfortable and nice. I appreciate the coffee, water, and snacks. They made the whole experience really easy and productive. The class was enjoyable, I learned a lot. The time seemed to go by so fast. The instructors were encouraging and knowledgeable. I came here for my NRP. I plan to do all my future certifications here just for the quality of teaching alone. Thank you for such a positive experience!

Edited 2/21/23: To preface this review; Surefire CPR has since approached me to reconcile their policy with my unique situation. Their efforts alone have been more than enough to restore my confidence in them, which is why I have amended this review.They always were able to fully articulate not only the basics of First Aid and CPR, but also the organic nature of the practices behind the training. This was why I continued to update my bi-annual certification with them until 2020.I did have, initially, a less-than-positive interaction with their customer service, but this was a policy problem, not personnel. This has since been rectified for me and, hopefully, for future customers as well.

I got my BLS, Hospital Fire Safety Cert. and just did my ACLS here! The instructors are all awesome! Shout out to Brandon Graham. It was my first time ever taking an ACLS course and I was so nervous but he made my experience positive and non-stressful. I learned so much during his training. Will definitely be back for my PALS.

I’ve completed classes here including BLS, ECG and Pharmacology, ACLS, PALS, Hospital Fire & Safety, MAB (online) and recertifications as well. On site, the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced and explain arrhythmias and interventions in a way that clicks. The classes are efficient and hands on in an intimate setting of typically just a dozen people or less. Definitely my first choice if recerts aren’t provided directly by my employer. Facility is clean, always plenty of parking, and centrally located next to Angel Stadium. Highly, highly recommend SureFire CPR.

I had a great time renewing my Basic Life Support certification at Surefire CPR at their office in Orange.Everyone on the team was friendly and helpful, and I was surprised at how quickly we completed the class.I went in with a group and the instructor (Vanessa?) was very outgoing and helpful, answering all of our questions.Ill be sure to return in two years when my BLS needs to be renewed again. I have been an RN for over 40 years, taking a CPR class every two years throughout my career. So, I have experienced all types of CPR classes, taught using all types of formats, by all types of instructors, from in hospital based to community based providers. But none can hold a candle to SureFire.SureFire CPR offers the best run classes I have ever taken taught by professionals who actually do CPR and it shows. They are professional, knowledgeable and personable. The classes are fast-paced, but not too fast, with constant review of the most important information to provide good preparation for the test. I love the relaxed, common sense format, the videos, the reasonable prices, the discount with a renewal and getting my card at the same time I take the class. Plus, they have a choice of sites, registration is easy and classes are readily available without having to wait weeks to be able to take a class. I took my second renewal class last night from a different instructor, than 2 years ago. Mitchs presentation and level of expertise was stellar, just like the last instructors was. Dont bother to go anywhere else.

This was my first time taking a CPR and Fire safety class & i am so glad i chose SureFire! The staff was so friendly & knowledgeable. Zack, Vanessa, Ivan, Hector, and Quinn were all so outgoing and made those 6 hours+ fly by! they made it really fun to learn about a serious subject and i left confident and ready to use my new skills for nursing school and everyday life. I attended the BLS course to renew my certification and had a great time. Not only was it a fun learning environment but was also a small class, which meant great one-on-one time in case you needed assistance. Our instructor, Carolyn, was great, very informative and encouraged the class to ask questions. The facility is really kind as to offer light snacks and coffee/hot cocoa. I would suggest that anyone taking a course at SureFire get involved and participate! Also, remember to buy a keychain CPR mask - its definitely worth the money you pay for.

Im a nursing student and I took two class from SureFire CPR to renew both my BLS and fire safety cards, and I must say that I did enjoy it very much. Most companies that serve the same purpose put on a typically monotonous class that offers little enjoyment. SureFire CPR tough the course material in a very professional and interactive manner and I could truly tell that there was a passion for teaching and overall instruction by their staff members. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of any health or safety instruction.

Wow! Ive been to CPR classes before, and this one, SureFire CPR topped them all. I actually learned something and left the class feeling equipped to handle a situation that might occur either at my home, while out in public or at my place of employment in the fitness industry. And being a mommy to a toddler, I now feel prepared to act and respond if something were to ever happen to her!The instructor (Katelyn) was extremely knowledgeable and approachable, everyone made me feel very comfortable, and the hands-on practice helped me really learn what was being taught. I enjoyed how small the class was, because it allowed me to really focus on the instructor, and all of the participants seemed to really pay attention and apply the skills they were being taught in the manner in which they were supposed to be performed. Id definitely recommend SureFire CPR to anyone. The best 3 hours spent that could possibly save a life...priceless!

I just want to let you know that I have been taking CPR re certifications since I was 15 and worked in a dental office. I am now 39 and Steve, our instructor today was the best I have had. I felt like he was efficient, thorough, and clear with his delivery on the subject. I passed the test 100% and I am ready for the next 2 years. The class was also a little bit fun. :-). Actually this is from my wife, Thelma. She was surprised how quietly she was able to find this site immediately and complete the course the following night. The classes consisted of 7 students and the instructor Ivan Rodriquez had knowledge and experience in CPR as he shared his own personal stories. I recommend this course for experienced healthcare providers and not for first timers, because they need a little more background in assessing and understanding how the respiratory/circulatory system works. But overall I truly enjoyed it and if it wasnt offered free by my employer I would definitely be taking this course again in the next two years. You remind students of there next renewal date and I find that a very good practice. Thank you again for your time and patience.

Needed to renew my BLS and thanks to my co-worker, she recommended I give this place a try. Easy to book your course and complete any testing required beforehand. Since I needed to renew my BLS, I chose the option to complete testing online and go in for the skills check. Tony (Anthony) was my trainer and he made the entire process seamless! The staff is very friendly and following COVID-19 protocols. Reasonable pricing and plenty of available course dates. I would highly recommend this place for any CPR renewal. Surefire CPR was not only a solid lesson on the lifesaving basics but it was also a good time. The atmosphere was professional yet laid back and comfortable at the same time. The instructor Son was experienced and also funny, several times during the session he reminded us to help ourselves to coffee, snacks, drinks etc, making us feel right at home. I got my initial from Surefire 2 years ago, my nursing school contracted them. I did my renewal yesterday, despite missing my first scheduled class with them & not calling to cancel, they were able to find me a class the next day and did not charge me for the missed class ( they actually refunded me the 1 dollar difference between the in-person and the online class I took the following day ). Great service. Happy I renewed with them, and I will again.

I was very delighted in the process that Brandon and Kevin took to start the class and their introduction, they informed the class of their education, qualifications, and experiences, connected with the medical and emergency assistance field. They appear to be well trained in this course. There sense of humor made the class feel very comfortable and and they were approachable with any type of questions. I was most pleased that they were able to supply every student, with all their own human and infant mannequin, as well as special tools such as mouthpieces, breather mask, etc., to simplify the practice exercises. The scenarios staged in the class were very help full to practice real life saving events, and the students taking part of it made us feel ready to engage in a real life situation. I would recommend Surefire to anyone I know to take this class.

I was in at 8am and out by 130pm with cards in hand! The curriculum included exactly what I needed, the instructors kept the class engaged in the learning process and everyone responded quickly to my questions and concerns. I took the CPR and First Aid class and loved it! I was immediately impressed when I found out that the teachers and company are comprised of people that actually work as EMTs, firefighters, etc., and have experience doing the things they are teaching you. Our teacher, Hector, was funny which made it a great experience and he used real-life examples from his own job which were helpful. Theres so much hands-on work so you actually get a chance to do the things you are learning! One of the best parts of the class and Surefire is that they really instill confidence in you. Going into this class I was somewhat afraid and uncertain that I could help in an emergency situation but after this class I feel so much more confident that if an emergency arose I could perform CPR or First Aid to help someone. As it was in my first class two years ago this year was once again done professionally and was very informative. Well first would like to say that I will defiantly be returning to SureFire CPR in Laguna. Wen for my very first time Jan. 29th 2015 to get my Healthcare Provider BLS certification and my instructor was Kevin Cole. Kevin did a great job teaching the class he had fun with it, didnt make the class boring and actually went through it explaining everything really well. The rest of the staff that i met there that day as well were friendly, inviting, and very helpful as well. I recommend this facility 100%. I havent been to any other location but I am sure the staff is just as great. But I will stick to the Laguna Location even though it is an hour away from my house but it is well worth it. Great Job SureFire CPR and Thank You to all the fireman, EMTs, Paramedics, and every field that they have personnel from for serving. Hopefully one day I am in your shoes.

Im a nursing student and have taken CPR classes a few times now and this was the one and only time that I walked away impressed. They had enough equipment for everyone in the room and went through each explanation thoroughly. This was also the first class that actually had the equipment to demonstrated CPR on an advanced airway as well as actually being able to simulate giving CPR with their handy dandy strap on stomach vests. I have attended many CPR classes over a 30 year LVN career, including those given by the American Red Cross and various other hospitals and institutions, and I can safely say that SureFires was the best.Part of this is the updating and simplification of the guidelines, but also the high quality instruction from a health professional (EMT) with extensive CPR field experience, who was also a fine teacher. Additionally, the cost was reasonable: $71 with materials vs $110 for the same class from American Red Cross.The instructor was terrific: clear, concise and he had great examples to help bring the content into a real-life context. He also went out of his way to be reassuring and build the confidence of the students, some who were new to healthcare and to CPR.I look forward to renewing my certification with SureFire in a couple of years.

I had the pleasure of completing my ACLS class at the Corona office and my experience was wonderful. The facility was clean and accomodating with coffee, teas and a snack machine...even the restroom was very clean and nicely decorated. I had to endure 12 hours of material but the time flew by mostly due to the awesome staff and their fun teaching ability. Thank you for helping me understand and feel confident if ever in a life saving situation. I will definitely continue my further education with this company.

I attended a Surefire Cpr class at the Laguna Hills location because it was right down the street from me. I needed cpr and first aid so i did the 69 dollar class and it was so worth the money! Jonny was the teacher and he very nice and easygoing and he taught very well. He was very clear and easy to understand when he was instructing. He always asked if we had questions and told us some personal experiences so we could better understand the material. I would definitely take a class from Surefire and absolutely go back to them when its time to renew for cpr. I had so much fun and i loved the class!

Purchased this class online after searching Google. Chose it simply because their website was so basic and made it easy to choose the right class for me, but wasnt sure if the class would actually be that great. I just needed my card....Sooo glad I picked SureFire! John was our instructor and couldnt have asked for a more friendly, knowledgeable, comprehensive, and thorough instructor. Went in just wanting to get the class done with and ended up really enjoying it. Like the other reviewer said, everything from the directions to the place to the taking of the test they made a breeze. Oh and they have your card ready at the end of class!

I am a second year nursing student and took their bundle ACLS, PALS, EKG/Pharm and renewal BLS courses. The registration was easy. The class was fast and easy and made it easy to understand when we went over this in school. If you want to get more out of the ACLS class it is better to take a longer class that goes slower. But the instructors are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I will be using them again for my renewals.

I know there are all different prices for these but overall this is the best one I have used .....have plenty of choices, very professional, very helpful, feedback is consistent.....nice venue..easy to get to....etc. I actually re-up every year just to be prepared. I was not impressed by the renewal of my CPR class at SureFire in Laguna Hills because of the number of times I had to take this class during my carreer as a healthcare professional but I can safely say that the guy who gave the class was not unpleasant and did not bore us to death. I definitively recommend Surefire because of their prompt enrollement if you need to renew in a short period of time.

It had been quite a while since I had my CPR/First Aid cards and I was very nervous.Johnny Skipworth, at the Laguna Hills office, was amazing! I was dragging my feet to show up to the 7:30 am class in Orange. Surprisingly I truly enjoyed the class despite my morning grouchiness! These guys, Surefire CPR Hector and Kevin, came to us, our company, and they are so polite and friendly. These guys are professionals. They use correct terminology that sticks. I loved the fact that I was trained by people who had previous experience and are the real deal, either firemen or EMTs, nurses, lifeguards, that have dealt with emergencies dozens of times, a hundred even better. Why? ...because they know what exactly you are looking for in an emergency. They know signs and symptoms really well and will give you a good picture of what it looks like leaving you with no doubts and confident. Prior to this course with Surefire CPR, I was book taught CPR and nothing would stick. Also, they answered every question and doubts without hesitation. They made it funny and loved their emergency stories and the wrong stories (stories of things/myths/mistakes people commonly do in an emergency). I also found the videos really helpful. This is my second time taking CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid with SureFire and it is clear that they take pride in what they do.Our instructor, Steve B., was chill, patient, and knowledgeable. I think this was my 3rd time Ive had to re-certify...the other times I walked away just feeling nervous and not totally sure what I would do in a situation, but this time I walked away feeling confident! Mitch was awesome...to the point, funny, honest, and engaging. I was actually dreading that I had to spend 5 hrs of my Saturday here, but with Mitch the time actually flew by! Besides the mis-information on our hospitals end (not the fault of SureFire), the experience was a positive one. The instructor was well qualified and kept the sessions interesting and relevant. I came into your CPR class on Tuesday January 8th and had a bad experience with the instructor Amy during the test accusing me of cheating 2nd saying I was week in my skills in CPR after accusing me that I cheated be right before you accuse a student two dont put a student down that they dont know what they are doing their was 8 of us in the class and alot of us were having issues even my friend that met me their she had issues to like my self. I went else where for my renewal on Saturday and had no issues and I spoke to one of my co worker and she has had some issues with an instructor female Im not sure if it was Amy but the co worker said the instructor make you feel you dont know anything and Amy made me feel like that accusing me cheating and keeping me after class and making me feel I dont know my skills and I went else where on Saturday and had no issues on my skills in CPR
