This Super 8 required payment upfront when we made reservation and before we saw the room. Room was not clean, was very dated, and smelled. There was pubic hair in the bathroom. Agent would not reimburse even though we did not stay in the room. We slept in car outfront.

Flat pillows, skinny towels, dirty tubs. But the rest is clean. Staff ask too many personal questions but overall fits the $100 flat rate a night. But the $73 online price comes out to $96 too many hoops not worth the $4 discount. Plus a debit card hold for deposit. It doesnt charge the card. Its just used as a just in case u do steal a skinny towel back up . Comfortable enough to get some rest. lots of food close by near freeway also

Such a terrible hotel. Very hostile towards cyclists. Constant noise from train horns. Seedy lobby. Rude owner. Generally run down and shabby. It may be cheap, but its still not worth it.

By far the worst customer service ever!! The new owners are horrible.. well actually I cant say that about the son the lady Im guessing the mother of the young man that actually had common sense was just ridiculous horrible customer service.. I understand that at a hotel you are allowed to have a visitor as long as youre not causing any problems or being loud.. My friend stoped by to have lunch with me and we werent even done eating my phone rings and its the lady downstairs telling me that I had it checked out because she told me she dont want visitors but I told her were just eating and shes going to go. Well sure enough I hear a door knock and its the owner she wants me to leave to and refuses to give me a refund. I then told her no unless she refunds me then she literally go in my face and was trying to fight me and her son had to separate us because she was but backing away and she literally had to be dragged out of my room.

I stay here every time I’m in town for work. Great service, friendly people, perfect location to anywhere in town and a 6’ deep pool. Awesome value for the price. I’m here for multiple days every 3 months and have never had any issues.

Room was safe and fine for overnight, but carpet smelled moldy. Bed was clean. A few maintenance issues in the bathroom. Desk was not reliably staffed. Breakfast was pretty sparse, but at least there was free coffee. Overall, ok if you’re just passing through and don’t want to spend much.

OK so it’s not the Hyatt regency but it is a motel that is clean comfortable and a very hospitable. What makes this hotel five stars is the staff. The man at the front desk that accommodated me with friendliness and kindness even though I woke him up at 2 o’clock in the morning started my stay here off well. In the morning when I woke up late and missed the continental breakfast he offered me muffins and coffee and I couldn’t believe he was awake and so cheery. Then when I asked the maid if I could have 10 extra minutes, before the question even left my mouth she replied “no problem mija take your time. “The staff here is wonderful and I recommend this place to everyone

First off let me say that the manager was very kind he let me make payments on the deposit for my dogs. We stayed a total of 8 days and not once were asked if we needed toliet paper or towels he actually said basically dont use the towels or else. Then the cockroaches were coming for the food! Gross i paid online and needed a place to stay but ewwwww roaches not cool

The man working the counter was so friendly and helpful. But, dont be fooled by Wyndham affiliation. The rooms are extremely dated. The shower wouldnt drain without holding the never. The fridge doesnt work. There was a red bucket underneath the AC unit to catch the water that dripped. Getting to it is confusing and it just doesnt feel like a very safe location.

Never seen more hallway roaches, very nice, gave our cat something to play with (pet friendly!). Dude was riding his bike down the hallway, that was pretty chill tbh not many hotels that chill. Tons of stray cats and kittens around, which was cute af. And there were a bunch of free wheelchairs and shopping carts outside too. Considerate! Not to mention I forgot my Soothing Sounds of a Traumatic Childhood CD at home, but the whistle and chug of the train, and the sounds of meth addicts screaming in the hall put me right to sleep!

I have been staying out of town for work quite frequently this year and last night, I had the pleasure of staying at the Super 8 in Selma. Comfort wise, it was similar to what one would expect from many of the budget hotels. However this one has the benefit of a Carls Jr., an old school diner, a McDonalds, and gas station right outside. To most, it could be just another 2 star hotel but due how genuine the manager was there, his willingness to help us in our predicament at the time, I feel that he himself deserved much more than 2 stars. Not to mention hes got GIANT solar panels for shade in the parking lot which is pretty darn cool. So all things considered, I would stay here again. If youve got a thing for quirky little places with awesome bed-covers and vending machines older than the building itself...stay here. I had fun and hope you do too. :)

Stayed here for 2 days. Staff was nice the manager really helped and made sure you were happy. Pool was nice and cool,really helped with the 100 degree weather. Free breakfast,cool hallways, a lot of food locations to eat close by. All in all great experience will stay again when i make my way back down their.

The manager greet us very well. He was helpful at times. The place is behind a gas station..... There is fast food everywhere... Therefore your going to hear all the traffic and that train every 4 hrs I think... The beds are not that great.... But if its for a night its acceptable....

Pros: free breakfast clean beds. Cons: Refrigerator was not cleaned prior to my check in. Actually the refrigerator was cleaned by me. I called down to front desk to let them know that it wasnt clean and that I couldnt put my food in until it was. The lady at the front desk assured me that someone would be up to take care of it. She then came to my room and handed me a towel and walked away.

The owner is the proprietor and the front desk reception. Hes so personable and he gives you a spiel on his expectations as his guest. He cherishes his establishment and thus it shows. His place prides with neat and tidy amenities complete with step by step instructions on How to be a good guest.!

We booked online because it stated it was a Wyndham property, which usually means it is a nice property...it was not. Seriously the worst super 8 I ever stayed for the past 3 years. The reception is next level to pathetic. The owner I assume operates this motel. When we checked in at 9pm, he has thrown a slip to fill (ok he is older and I respect this) and asked us whether we are from Kerala. When we said we are from north east, this amazing guy asked why you guys came here. LOL. INSIDE my mind thought None of your business budda. Then the bed. It has springs out of the bed and when came down to inform him, he said hey the beds are same in all rooms and he bought all of them an year back. What the hell I dont want to listen to your itinerary of bed purchases. With no help, we slept in spring punching bed in room number 210. Next morning the toilet got overflowing and when called to inform him, he said I dont have rooms and when you guys go out, I will arrange one. With in 20 seconds, he said u can move on to 208. I wonder how he got room in 20 seconds. Luckily the toilet, bed are fine. We came down for breakfast and he didnt inform us that its closed by 9 am while the irony was happening since last night. When asked he sounded defensive and I asked whether its not basic courtesy to tell us he said you guys didnt ask and you are the only guest who have all problems. This is worst hotel I ever stayed in my life and the owner attitude is pathetic(partly I can sense because Im from same country). Thr hotel condition is poor and pray to get good room when u decide to checkin. I respect the age of owner but not his stupidity.Updated: we got bitten by bed bugs. This completes the worst ever stay. Super 8 are you listening?? Bed bugs in 208 but not in 210...

1st room we put in room107 mold come from cooler then change room 108 lot better but manger get tv work if not we swift again. glad got fix. he was moody in morning because juice machine was gave water instead juice. say cost $100.00 to fix it. breakfast not much there look old. not good view. was safe area . food near by. never go there again rather go kingberg motel 6 instead here.

There was boogers all over the was, we had dirty sheets and the place had dust over everything. You didnt want to walk barefoot because you would stick to the carpet. I asked them to clean my room and left for a couple of hours. When I came back all they did was make the bed with the same dirty sheets. This place was the absolute worst hotel

We stayed in this hotel for three nights. We travelled from here to Yosemite and Sequoia National Park. The rooms were neat and clean. The gas station, food mart, even the freeway is close by. The staff is cooperative and breakfast is ready on time. We enjoyed our stay there on the memorial Day long weekend. We will definetely reconisder it, if travel in the area. Thank you

Clerk was rude started judging me just because I was young checking into my room assumed I was a smoker and said that it was going to be a 100$ fee if I smoke in the room and said I couldn’t have anyone in my room only 2 adults no parties. Theres no option for 0 stars so I gave it 1. The guy at the front was creepy and rude. I told him non smoking and he have me a smoking room. Then when I checked him on it he said O.K. but dont smoke as if I was a kid. [INSERT STERN CONVERSATION ABOUT RESPECT TO THE FRONT DESK MORON HERE] I had my child with me so i was not playing the bs game. He tried to act all ass kissy after that and gave me a new room without a refridgerator or a microwave.Only reason I didnt get a refund and leave was because we were tired and had to drive 10 hrs the next day. The front desk dude finally gave me a room i requested initially. But when he came back to get the new key to us he didnt even knock.Lastly and well into the night we discovered a bedbug. Upon further inspection we discovered 2 more. There was a half dime sized bloodstain on the toiletpaper I killed them with. We threw out all the sheets into the hall and finished the night with blankets of our own which well have to wash thouroghly tommorow. The other bed didnt have bedbugs so we all slept in the same bed (a little uncomfortable).Do not stay here . Trust me spend the extra $20 for better service and swerve the bed bugs and non creepy staff. This place is sickening.

There was mold on my bed sheets and booger’s all over the walls. The room was gross and nothing was plugged in. I tried turning on the lights for 5 minutes and it wouldn’t work once I saw there was a cord I went to plug it in however the socket was unsafe and covered in spider webs and dust. This place should not be allowed to be opened. Someone needs to do health inspection here more often.

When we got into the room, after an hour of trying to get the TV to operate right ( unsuccessful ) we called the front desk after 10 mins calling him and not answering I tried my cell phone and got a hold of him we did what he said to do with the TV and it still didnt work he came to the room to try it himself mind you we werent even in the room an hour and a half. Should we tell him give us half the money back and well be on our way he can fix it later he didnt agree with that so he gave us $40 out of $100 for an hour and a half in a room with the key that didnt work this is unbelievable so he kept $60 for an hour and a half Mind he can rent the room out again to somebody who just dont care if they get their moneys worth I would not recommend this hotel to anybody they need to step up,t you should get that much in accommodations.

This place is absolutely disgusting! Service was absolutely deplorable! We were absolutely denied an extra towel when there was three of us and only two towels! The man put his finger in our faces and told us that we were absolutely denied extra towels! The room was deplorable at best! There were burn holes from cigarettes in all of the bedding! There were visibly huge patched holes in the walls! The room smell like sewage and had Febreze car vent fresheners on the heater/AC! After being on the road for 14 hours I wanted to give my 4-year-old a bath and wasnt able to because the bathtub was falling apart and the holes leaking water! One of the beds had a full boot print on the sheets! There were only two towels for three guests and when I called front desk to complain and ask for new sheets and another towel they wanted to argue with us and showed up at the door! The first thing I said to him was can you smell the sewage and his response was are you smoking in here? The man then denied there was anything wrong with the room and refused to get us another towel orous sheets (even though there were three of us) then told us to come to the front desk and walked away! When we got to the front desk the man or boy got rude with us put his finger in our face and said I deny you more towels! Then when asked what would happen if we just left would we receive a refund he said absolutely not! I then asked if we could change rooms and he said he didnt have any available Even though three men were cleaning out a room next to us after 6:00 p.m. in the evening! After speaking to some guests it was very obvious that this hotel is seedy and allows shady people and business to go on at this property! Again the room was beyond deplorable disgusting rooms and outrageously rude employees! I have plenty of pictures but cannot figure out how to post them here!

The welcome is friendly but the place is aging, we are offered a smoking or non-smoking room we want non-smoking but what a surprise to access our room we cross a long corridor with an unbearable smell of cold tobacco. The distribution is one room out of two. Despite everything, we smell cigarettes in our room, its disgusting. The decoration has been the same since 1980. Its clearly not worth $80 for one night

I do not recommend it to anyone, I was in room 204 and it was very dirty, the bathroom had a lot of hair, the walls were very, very dirty, the mattresses were horribly dirty, in the non-smoking area, the entire hotel is very contaminated. a lot of cigarette smell, a horrible thing. I hope some inspector comes to inspect it. In fact, I made a video where there were cockroaches but I havent been able to upload it.
