Absolutely loved my experience with SUP Tahoe! Their staff is super helpful & sweet, they loaded up our boards quickly and gave us great recommendations for beaches to go to. I highly recommend keeping your board overnight — it is well worth the $15 to catch an epic Tahoe sunset/sunrise on the water.

We had a wonderful experience here! They have the cheapest options for SUP rentals in South Lake. The staff was super friendly. They helped load up the car for us and showed us how to do it ourselves. They also recommended different beaches we could try. We got the overnight deal and we highly recommend an early paddle on meeks bay.

Super good experience with both the SUP store and the bike cafe. Staff here are absolute amazing. If you’ve never paddle boarded before, no worries - the staff will help you out. Also feel free to ask them about the wind direction and recommend launching spots.A big plus is that the SUP rentals come with a free car rack (foam pads strapped on your car), which means you can drive up to whichever water you want. Love the flexibility.

For a group who is renting paddle boards and kayaks for the first time, we had a great experience renting with SUP Tahoe. We were a little early and I told them to take theyre time because we werent in a rush. They got our stuff up really quick. I had some plans that were delayed and threw my whole schedule off and I called informing them wed be a little late to the drop off time. They told us not to worry about it and got the rentals off the car quick and easy. Ryan and Daryl are awesome! We cannot thank you enough!

We rented SUP boards one day and e-bikes another day. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful - made it super easy to rent. E-bikes were fantastic- so well outfitted with water bottle holder, phone holder and the self guided tour was great! Highly recommend renting here.

I love this shop! Excellent customer service all around! I bought an inflatable board last year and I accidentally damaged the fin box while floating the Truckee river last week. They helped me out and gave me a replacement board. I cant believe it! Thanks so much SUP Tahoe!!🙏🙏

My husband and I rented paddleboards here over the weekend and we had a great experience. Their staff was friendly and helpful. They recommended great lake spots to take the boards. I will definitely be recommended this place to any one looking to rent in Tahoe. We didnt try their anything at their café but was told the coffee is very good.

Despite the location being away from the beach, its totally worth the effort to haul your own SUP. I had FOUR and they loaded them up onto my car and gave me advice on how to load them up again.One of the few places that will rent them overnight. We wanted to do a sunrise paddleboard session so this was the perfect thing for us. Its the same price as to rent at the beach and we had complete flexibility.Amazing service. Scott helped in both receiving and returning the SUPs. Huge shout out to him!

We were very impressed with our experience! We rented 3 boards today for the 2 hour rental. $30 really includes everything! The boards are VESL Bombers with Vamo gear, and it’s all in excellent condition.The rental process was super easy and fast. You need to leave a card on record, and there is no penalty for staying all day instead of 2 hours- just 20$ more.The guy helping us got the foam spacers on top of the car and had it loaded in about 3 minutes. He gave us pointers on the best/most efficient way to load it back up to come back. He suggested nearby beaches for our 2 hour window, and there’s extra time built in to drive to the beach so you can take advantage of the full two hours to be on the water! We had a wonderful day out on Lake Tahoe and highly recommend SUP Tahoe.

We had an amazing experience at Lake Tahoe, thanks to SUP rentals. Their kayaks are good quality and very comfortable! We rented two single kayaks for full day. They are only $50 each.The only challenge could be securing the kayaks on top of your car. The staff at SUP rentals (who are super nice and friendly BTW) will help you when you rent them, but after that you are on your own and it could be a challenge to put the kayaks back on top of your car once you are done using them if you are not used to carrying heavy things. Just keep this in mind when you rent so you can plan accordinglyWill definitely rent again!!!! :D

The good: loaded and unloaded the boards on our car for us while at the shop. The equipment was great. Generous rental period for the price.The bad: Do you ever walk into a store and get the feeling you’re inconveniencing THEM? Both the employee at the check-in booth and the employee at the coffee counter I’m pretty sure love the smell of their own farts.Sign at check-in encourages customers to ask where to SUP. Check-in guy in response to our asking which beaches might be least crowded: “(heavy sigh)…..there’s no way for me to tell you exactly how many people are at each beach”. Thanks for the rec, check-in guy.Coffee guy was very wrapped up in a conversation with his fellow employee. Emotions were running high as they discussed the new policy (of which they did not agree) as to how their supervisor wanted the fresh juices transported to the front of the house. They liked the old transportation vessel better. There I was, waiting for service while they spoke about the juices in full vocal fry and statements that sounded like questions. Coffee guy finally took my order once he wrapped up his high-stakes conversation.Overall, the experience in the shop blew. But the equipment and prices were good.

This is the best option to paddle board anywhere in Lake Tahoe. Go early and rent and have it all day to use at any beach, cheaper then the 2 hour rentals at beach locations. Pay extra $15, pick up before they close to beat crowd at popular beaches and enjoy all day. They provide equipment to tie to your vehicle roof. Best option. Plus best service. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed paddleboarding at Lake Tahoe. SUP Tahoe is a great place to rent SUPs, get some recommendations and a nice talk. The prices are very good as well (e.g. overnight 4pm-10am = $45). To drive with your board mounted on your car where ever you want is awesome and enriches your experience! We totally recommend SUP Tahoe for your SUP experience at Lake Tahoe.

These guys were great! The sup boards were high quality. They were much easier to use and balance rather than the ones you can rent right on the lake. They had a great deal for full day rental. Awesome place with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Prices are great too. Loaded all 3 boards, paddles, life jackets, and straps in 10 mins. Showed us how to load them back, the whole process was made easy.The boards are light and the equipment was in good condition.They also care about our safety. We told them where we were going to paddle board and they strongly advised against it due to the strong winds that day. They directed us to a bay that would have less wind.They were totally right, even in the bay we got caught in some pretty strong winds which delayed our return to the beach by an hour. We called them and let them know we were going to be late and they were very understanding and worked with us to return the boards without a late fee.Thank you! Yall are awesome.

We made a reservation online a week in advance and the whole rental process was so easy! We showed up and they helped us get the boards onto our car (a lil Prius) and explained how to mount and strap it in. They also gave us all the equipment we needed (paddle, life jacket, ankle leash).They also had dry bags for sale in the store and we picked up a 5L one which held some snacks, water, a sweatshirt and sunscreen.The staff was super friendly and recommended a safe spot to paddle board (Meeks Bay) since it was a pretty windy day. They were also very kind and accommodating when we were a few minutes late with returning our full day rental.Overall would totally recommend that you check out SUP Tahoe!!!

Amazing experience! We reserved online and it took all of 2 or 3 minutes for them to load us up (we already had racks on our vehicle) and everything was in excellent condition. We had an incredible day of riding at Sand Harbor and returning the boards was as easy and quick as picking them up. The guy who helped us was super friendly and helpful for first-timers.

We called SUP Tahoe literally minutes before they closed hoping to rent Stand Up Paddle boards. We were in town for under 24 hours and wanted to go out for sunset. Thankfully, Ryan was incredibly accommodating and stayed open later for us to come in and rent. He made sure we had all the gear we needed and even helped load everything onto the vehicle. The guys working were amazing so helpful and I didnt have to do a thing. I filled out all paperwork on my phone and paid them online as well. They loaded everything on top of my rental and we were on our way. When we returned they took everything off and out of my rental. I didnt have to get out of the car again. I explained we lost a life jacket and they were so nice about it. It was not a bad fee to replace and we were on our way once again. I will for sure rent from here next time we are in Tahoe.

Man this place a great place to rent out kayaks double or singles. Stand up paddle boards for a really great rate for a whole day, definitely going to come back to rent my stuff here again. And since I didnt have a rack on my car they provided accessories to place the kayaks on my vehicle,, so if your worried that you dont have nothing to hold the boards dont worry they got you covered, tho they dont accept cash its card only just FYI, so I hope this help you out 😁

I would take precaution when renting a kayak here. My 7 year old son and I were sent out onto lake tahoe without a plug. We were very far out when we noticed the kayak filled with water and we tipped over. We had to get pulled back in from onlookers with a boat. After inspection, the worker said we sent them out there with no plug The only thing the workers at SUP said was, sorry. It was a scary experience for my child. Please be cautious when renting from here.

Excellent service, and you get more bang for your buck here than at the lakeshore rental shops. South Lake Tahoe claims to be the SUP capital of the world, and theyve got it what takes to back that up.Youll have to transport the board to the lake yourself, but if you have a car with a roof rack its really quite easy to do.

Great local place to rent from with the best prices in town. They give you foam inserts to bring the equipment to whatever beach you want to take off from. David and Skooter were very quick and professional and contacted me immediately when i needed to make changes. Horrible place. Always telling people to park in residential places.To the Response - That is not what your customers say when they park at the trailer park behind your business in everyones parking spot. Your business also often blocks the entrance of the driveway so we cant get in.
