Give Sunshine a call sooner than later. Stop wasting your time with other companies. They are super honest, reliable and their pricing was fair. Solomon was the inspector whom came out to my house and made me feel at ease unlike some other companies. The workers were came to work, no nonsense. The office scheduled inspection and we passed with flying colors.

We used Sunshine Foundation Repairs for a last minute foundation inspection on a home we had in escrow. They were able to fit us in within 3 days of my call. Our inspector was Golan, he was thorough and detailed with his inspection. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us in a way that was easy for us to understand. I am glad we found Sunshine Foundation, would definitely use again. We luckily did not need any repairs on our concrete slab foundation but feel confident that they would be the company we would use if it did.

Truly a spectacular company. More like a seven star company, I had three companies come out to take a look at my Foundation issues and Golan the inspector from Sunshine Foundation was the only person that went underneath our house to the crawlspace to have an overlook of our concerns. we had several piers and post that were damaged and were creating issues around our property. The response time is quick and the work they provided was top notch. We finally feel our living space a safe zone.

I recommend Sunshine Foundation Repair.While renovating a recently-purchased older home in Canyon Country I discovered a large crack that ran through the foundation. Knowing nothing about slab foundations I contacted Sunshine Foundation Repair to have it inspected.I expected the worst but Golan stopped by that same day and, after a thorough inspection gave me the best news of my day: It wasnt serious and could be filled using epoxy from the local home store.My entire experience with Sunshine was delightful from beginning-to-end. I was impressed with Sunshine Foundation. I purchased an old home in LA and needed a full foundation replacement. I got a few bids, and Sunshine gave a fair price. Sam and Ram seemed very solid off the bat so I decided to go with them. They did a nice job of communicating and walking through the entire process. Juan was the main guy in the field, leading a team of workers who were on site almost everyday. Juan was very patient with me through the leveling process as I showed him each little area that needed to be adjusted. In the end the guys removed all the old foundation stuff, dig a trench around the perimeter of the house, and poured an insane amount of concrete. House feels super stable now - a big improvement. Would consider Sunshine for another foundation that Im considering replacing as well

Superb company!! Must say this is a highly recommended company, we needed a retro fit done for the house because our earthquake insurance company was going to drop us if not. Searched on yelp for foundation companies got connected with 4 different ones. We had them all come out just cause I want to make sure I’m getting the best service and best price. Golan was absolutely incredible with how detailed he was in explaining the scope of work and as well the additional repairs we had needed done. Sam came out to inspect a property that we wanted to purchase early in May, 2024. He was punctual and professional. The property was in a state of disrepair and access of inspection points were blocked to varying degrees. I additionally did extra research on yelp and google and their ratings were spectacular. Diana and Joe from the Northridge branch were extremely patient and helpful in answering questions regarding the program. I was scheduled promptly and was told that my inspector would give a courtesy call upon arrival. Golan m which was my inspector, he was on time and as called prior to arrival as promised. We were in escrow to purchase an old craftsman home when the general inspector flagged foundation issues. Our realtor hired Sunshine to inspect and estimate the problems. Solomon came out and used his laser to assess the interior of the home before crawling beneath and taking tons of photos that he shared with us. Was feeling some soft spots in my floors and started seeing cracks forming around the house. Lee came out and found 2 beams that were totally shifted as well as some cracks around my foundation. I’m not sure where to even start. This company was referred to me by one of our neighbors. Who had similar foundation issues our house had more then a 3 “ slope literally felt like was drunk walking around my home. After sunshine coming out and walking us through the process and giving a detail visual idea of the scope of work I finally had a better perspective. My house has been gradually sinking into the backyard for the last decade. In the last year it got much worse and finally decided to fix the problem. That was when the process of interviewing contractors began. We practically had every company come out to evaluate our problem and give us their bids and recommendations. Most of the companies that came out had solutions that didn’t seem to be the right solution to all our problems. I can’t say thank you enough!! With the recent rains my home has continued settling a little bit more each time. I reached out to several companies and gave them an opportunity to fix my home. Sunshines inspector had a slightly similar but different solution than the other companies. His team lifted my home from underneath and installed helical piers to support it. Reached out to sunshine because I was hearing crackling noises coming from around our home and it raised a huge concern thinking of our foundation. Our floor were buckling and we were having different issues. Our inspector was Golan that came out and he found out that we had a bursted copper line that was spraying the sub floor from the crawl space and that was causing the floors to buckle because of water damage. Before doing a bathroom remodel, we knew we should have some suspicious cracks looked at so we called Sunshine in case we needed foundation work first. Their reviews are great, but weve dealt with shady businesses before that had good reviews, so we were prepared for anything. All fears were for nothing - they worked with our schedule, keep in communication, arrived on-time, and Solomon could not have been a more decent guy. He went through every room slowly, examined every doorway, measured the levels of all the floors, and the entire time clearly explained what he was doing, what to worry or not worry about, and answer every one of my dumb questions. In the end (and fortunately for us) our foundation is just fine and he we dont need any work, but had his assessment been different Id definitely trust him to get it done right.If I had one complaint, it would be that Solomon set the bar too high for everyone else - he was friendly, thorough, and honest, and now Im going to expect that from whoever helps with our remodel (and probably be let down)

Choosing a foundation company is hard- we had 10 different companies come out to quote us and they ranged in some ways, # of piers, where whey would be and the cost. Ram was our rep and he was amazing even came out a second time to talk to me as I had follow up questions and wanted to meet him and ask questions as to why all the quotes ranged so much. I own a 4 unit property in Highland Park which had failing cripple walls compromising the structural integrity of the building. Before hiring Sunshine Builders & Foundation had two other companies come out for an inspection. The first inspector didnt even go under my house, he pulled out a Simpson Strong Tie pamphlet and started pointing to the repairs he would do when he had no clue what was going on. The second inspector again didnt go under the house, his hard sell was to hire an engineer that was affiliated with his company and pay $2,750 to have plans drawn up so he can bid off of them. I know enough about repairs that a legit company will inspect the problem and give a recommendation and then a bid.Finally, third times a charm I called Sunshine Builders &Foundation and the owner Ram came out to do the inspection because his head guy was on vacation. He threw on a pair of coveralls and immediately crawled under the house to source the problem and give a solution. Its nice when someone can explain their professional opinion in an easy to understand manner.Two days later I had the bid in my inbox explaining the step by step process of the construction to fix the issue along with a recommendation for an earthquake retrofit that would strengthen the foundation which I opted to get done.There was NO sticker shock from the bid, everything was VERY reasonable and I initiated booking the job that same day. After doing a very thorough inspection of the home foundation and more, he explained everything well and what his recommendations are, including some recommendation regarding the moist he found and some animal droppings. We have a 95 year old house and wanted to get earthquake insurance. We shopped around to find a company to reasonably retrofit our foundation, and Sunshine Builders was the only company that noticed that a 30’ bean had been cut to remove an old floor heater, or that 18 pier and posts needed to be replaced. I am very pleased with the service I received from Sam and his office. Was in the mist of a Realestate transaction and the foundation needed to be repaired before the deal will close. Sam was honest and gave me a great price. His office squeezed out job in over the weekend since we were on a time crunch. Im very pleased with the work ethics and the service I received. I called Sunshine Builders because I was seeing some cracks in my foundation. Solomon was very curious upon arrival and professional and knowledgeable while inspecting the home. He was honest and luckily I didn’t have a serious problem with the cracks it was because of moisture and gave me some good advice on how to address the situation and best maintain my property to prevent further damage from accruing for the future.

Finally found a home I loved however saw that it had some major foundation issues. I Heard great things about sunshine builders and FR and thought I’d give them a try. 5-star and Buyers first choice !!!! Im extremely pleased with Sunshine Builder, Lee is super professional, He crawled around under the house I want to purchase, and he checked every room carefully and took a lot of photos. He used a laser device to measure the floor slope. The whole inspection take almost one hour, after the inspection, he showed us the cracks of the foundation, Lee is very friendly he explained all related techinical terms to us which is pretty useful to understand what happens to the foundation, luckily we only need a few fix and enhancement on the foundation. Ill definitely ask them to come to fix all the issues after the purchase. I highly recommend you contact this company to check your foundation!!
