One of my top 3 boba places 🤌🏽 as a professional boba addict, various selection of drinks is great!there’s something for everyone, whether you have a sweet tooth, want something hot, can customize the drinks to your liking by add ons.big fan of the strawberry yakult, i like to add so crème brûlée for creaminess 😮‍💨love that we have to order from a kiosk, really benefits us that have crippling social anxiety

Great drinks that aren’t too sweet and the boba was pretty fresh. The guy working there was very nice and friendly. He even made my friend a new drink after she realized she ordered the wrong topping for the drink.

Service was a bit slow but it was quite crowded when I came. Tried the Oreo drink and the limited edition Kafka blueberry cooler. Oreo drink was too sweet even at 75% sweetness, the blueberry cooler was much tastier. They were out of big straws so it was significantly more difficult to drink the boba and jelly. All the collaboration goodies with honkai star rail were great! We got a poster, drink holder, and sticker along with a redeem code with our drinks!Has a digital order station that works well and is easy to navigate. A bit difficult to find parking so I recommend trying to find parking nearby and walking there!

Convenient location in Old Town right next to Cheesecake Factory.There are 2 other competing boba places nearby (3 if you count Jamba Juice but haven’t tried their boba yet) but this one definitely has the most business!!There is cute decoration inside and two big screens to order from. The payment scanner is right next to the screen. Pricing was average, $5 something for one drink.It had a good amount of customers when I went in but my order didn’t take too long.I got the original Sunright milk tea boba. It was delicious! I also liked that the cup had bunny decoration for lunar year! so cute!There was only seating on the side to wait for your order so it’s more of a grab and go place.

My favorite boba place in SoCal!Their classic Oreo Creme Brulee is my go-to drink, and they even offer mini boba ice cream to-go that I love to take home!Sunright has a massive menu and almost everything is delicious. Definitely try Sunright if youre a boba fan!

I stopped by this place twice in a week! First ordered a hot Four Season Tea Latte, perfect for cool December afternoon. Went back a few days later for a Brown Sugar Espresso Boba Latte and it was delicious! A great spot to stop for pick-me-up drinks and rest your feet on their bench for more shopping in the heart of Old Town Pasadena.

To Start off the limited time drink that’s available is okay will I be going back no.One the employees are not very welcoming, I enter 1 minute before they open they tell me that they haven’t opened yet so I wait outside for a minute they proceed to unlock the door and disregard me for 10 more additional minutes I’m standing at the counter trying to get there attention.They know I’m there but refuse to provide service.So I leave. That’s fine maybe they’re preparing or something.I return a couple of minutes later and again disregard me till I verbally tell them to take my order do they help me.I get my drink and I walk out what awful service. It wasn’t busy either there was one other person in the store.

Popular boba spot in Old Town Pasadena where you order via computer screen and pick up at the counter. You can also order ahead of time online. Look for garage parking - the school house one is $1 for the first two hours and is close by. It’s hard to find metered spots in that area.I got the strawberry frostie which had some cheese mixed inside. You can customize the sweetness level (I did 75%) and add toppings for an additional cost per topping. You put your name in the order and pay via credit card; when the order is ready, they’ll call out the drink. There’s a waiting area to sit but you just take your drink and leave.

Convenient and delicious boba tea place in old town. You order on the computer screens and can order ahead online. It gets very crowded on the weekend but drinks are made quickly. A bench or two for indoor seating but mostly grab and go. I tried their oolong cheese with boba at 50% sweetness, the tea was strong, cheese foam was delicious, and boba was soft and sweet. Would definitely recommend!

Nice place to have a drink. It would definitely fit you if you like sweet drinks. If not - your choice would be matcha or coffee. Place looks nice and clean. Definitely will come back again. Management is quick to fix any kinds of problems.

Sunright is my favorite tea house in LA! Their drinks are the best Ive had (I used to be a big fan of Half & Half years ago). Ive been going to Sunright stores in Little Tokyo and Monterey Park, and now I am super glad theyre open in Old Town Pasadena! The store design in their new Pasadena location is SICK! Super modern, bright, and airy. Be sure to get their Matcha Oolong Milk Tea!

I have been a fan of sunright since I first discovered them in Little Tokyo. This new location in Old Town is right in the heart of all the action. The shop is the usual sunright clean and modern style with bright colors, it really stands out on the block. Today I tried something new, the taro milk tea with honey boba and it was delicious! They use freshly cooked taro and turn it into a paste which they coat the cup with, none of that artificial taro powder here. The honey boba was soft, chewy and warm, their boba never disappoints. Service was friendly and I got my drink quickly. If you are ever in the area do give sunright a try, I am pretty sure you will become a fan like me.

Came in to the new Sunright on Colorado next to Apple. The interior is the usual Sunright colors with a clean design. I usually get the Sunright fruit tea but I saw they had a new grape frostie with cheesefoam that sounded interesting so I ordered that, wow! It was a very unique drink, I dont think I have seen anything grape flavored at any other boba shop. The fresh grapes ice-blended with cheesefoam created a delicious drink with great texture, this one is definitely worth a try. Service was friendly and they had a sign saying during their soft opening drinks may take longer as usual as staff is still training, I got my order in under 10 minutes.

The only boba shop I go to in Pas. The tea infusions they use are very flavorful. Other places just hit you with sugar and toppings but here I taste the tea which is important to me. And the other thing I love is that you can sub sugar with honey which infinitely enhances the flavor. I hope theyll bring back the fizzy grape drink, that one was awesome.

Pop music and sparse interior. Nobody was behind the counter so we used the touch screen menu to place our order. It wasnt complicated using the touch screen but it took twice as long compared to placing an order with a person.I ordered a red bean milk tea with boba. The cups are nice. Shake and plunge the straw. First sip I am greeted by unblended red bean. It was an unpleasant surprise. Cause every red bean boba that I have had this far in my life was completely blended.I realize that this may be the way sunright does theirs and thats fine. But I didnt find it pleasurable.

On Sat. 3-18-2023, I stopped by Sunright Tea Studio for a boba milk tea, I have been to many other of their stores in Southern California (to name few - Diamond Bar, Costa Mesa, Eastvale, Rancho Cucamonga, Arcadia), they never disappoint me. However tonight I ordered the usual Sunright boba milk tea, when I received the order there is no boba in my drink, so I asked the worker why my drink has NO BOBA? The worker said they sold out the BOBA..! I was like for real #%*^! I am at boba tea shop and you ran out of boba WT#? So I told the worker I don’t want this drink, the worker asked if I want to replace with different drink, I told the store I don’t want anything else and I want a refund! They got my name and number, than told me refund will takes a week back to my credit card. This is very disappointing as if you sold out of boba, you either put a sign up next to the kiosk or remove the boba milk tea off from your menu. Not smart to make your customer upset and wasted 20+ mins from ordering to get your drink without boba, another ten minutes to and from where I parked my car. Horrible experience today and I hope they actually will complete the refund!

The boba can be a little hard sometimes, but overall it’s really good. I get sugar crashes easily so I appreciate how we can change the sugar levels- I usually go for 50-75% sugar.

Nice little spot on the main street in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. Ive always liked their teas at the Irvine location I frequent. Glad to say the taste is consistent and the staff is friendly. I ordered my usual Grapefruit Jasmine Green Tea with no sugar online, so it was quick and easy. Will recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing tea to brighten your day.

Came across this new Sunright after dinner in Old Town Pasadena. It is pretty hard to miss as its the brightest shop on the block, talk about sunny vibes. I usually get drinks at another boba shop down the street but now that Sunright is open I will be definitely coming here as it is probably my favorite boba chain. My go to drinks are the Sunright boba milk tea, Taro milk tea and Oolong milk tea. Actually you cant miss with any of their drinks and the one time I had something I didnt like they were cool with replacing it, always great customer service across their locations. Today the staff were obviously new but were nevertheless friendly and helpful with the newcomers in front of me. If you havent checked them out its a must try. Easy 5 stars.

What are my new favorite boba spots! Its hard to believe that Pasadena is becoming a high quality boba tea area, though not on par with San Gabriel or Alhambra because of the sheer number of boba spots in those areas, I no longer need to go south for top notch boba spots. Just in Old Town, theres Jin Tea, Motto, Prolece (my fave), Motto (Japanese souffle pancakes, yum and now now Sunright! Try their Oreo brulee tea and even their house is excellent, and for those who love yogurt, they have excellent yakult drinks!UPDATE: Downgrade by a ⭐ star! The last few times Ive gone, I get my usual milk tea, at 50% sweet, light boba, light ice. I cant totally pinpoint it but the last few visits have yielded a drink that has decreased in flavor, tastes a bit more watery or perhaps more milky, and less tea presence. Thats the best way I can describe it. Its simply tastes lower quality and has less flavor overall. I even tapped into a fellow boba enthusiast who loves this spot, I bought him a milk tea and he said the same thing! He said it tasted less tasty. I may give this location another couple of tries and then make a final star rating, but I may stop going here... Well see.

I have seen Sunright all over social media but have never tried it until today. Their new location in Pasadena is next to Apple so when I saw it after picking up gifts I had to finally give it a chance. The store was spacious and staff welcoming. You order on two kiosks on the wall which I found super intuitive and all their drinks had photos and descriptions. I opted for the Sunright boba milk tea which is their #1 customer favorite. My drink came out in about 5 minutes and I was asked to shake it 17 times to blend the flavors together. They seem serious about you shaking up your drink because they even had a sign on the wall. So whats the verdict? The tea flavor was prominent, the brown sugar and milk melded together well and the boba was soft, chewy and surprisingly warm. One of the better boba milk teas I have had. I can totally see why Sunright is so popular and based on this excellent first impression I am eager to give more of their menu a try.

One of my favorite boba shops is now open in Pasadena, just in time for much needed Christmas shopping caffeine boost. Their oolong milk tea is one of my usual orders, it pairs perfectly with their brown sugar boba. Their Sunright fruit tea and mango jasmine are also good but colder days call for milk teas. Service was friendly and my drink came out quickly. Seems like not alot of people know they are open cause I was stopped a couple times on the street while walking around and asked if there was a Sunright nearby.

Sunright just opened up in Pasadena and its a welcome addition to the neighborhood. My husband and I are big fans of their Ceylon milk tea, we both get it at 0% sugar since we dont like sweets. There is a slight subtle sweetness from the housemilk so for us its perfect. The tea flavor shines through and it gives the caffeine I need without feeling jittery. Ordering is on their usual kiosk or online page. Dont forget to shake it 17 times.

Saw the excellent reviews on Yelp so had to check out this new boba shop. Seems like everyone loves their Sunright fruit tea so thats what I got. I like how you can customize sweetness and ice levels so I got 75% sweet with regular ice, also added jasmine tea jelly which I have never seen elsewhere. The drink was fantastic! You can really taste the fresh fruits and quality of the 4 seasons tea. The jasmine tea jelly was a surprise, it was really good, the consistency of grass jelly with a distinctive jasmine tea taste. I am going to go back probably tomorrow to try one of there milk teas. The hype is real guys.

Ordered a drink by scanning their QR code, it said it would be ready in 15 minutes but it took more like 20, there were a fair amount of people waiting for their drinks and its a soft opening so not a big deal. I am sure the staff needs to get used to operations. I got the strawberry matcha latte and it was tasty with a nice balance of milk, matcha and fresh strawberries. 4.5 stars but rounding up to 5.

Was surprised to see a new Sunright in pasadena, they are really popping up everywhere, sunright domination... Apparently they just opened yesterday. I ordered a grapefruit jasmine with jasmine tea jelly and it was really refreshing, it did take a while to come out but I am sure they have kinks to work out during their soft opening. I will say that the store design is pretty cool and staff were all very friendly. I will be back the next time I am on colorado.

Nice Sunright location, great place to grab a drink and window shop in Old Town. The boba is good - chewy and not too sweet. Got the usual milk tea and it was good - strong and not watered down. The shop is clean and while it’s a soft opening, the staff were friendly and efficient. Best place and closest parking is in the DeLacey Parking structure. I came around 2pm on a Monday and there was plenty of parking. With the free 90 min parking, it’s easy to grab a boba, walk around a bit, then head out.

I got the Ceylon Milk Tea with brown sugar boba. Unfortunately, the tea flavour was incredibly weak, almost non-existent, and my boba was slightly undercooked. I purchased my drink from the self-service kiosk which asked me to put my name in for it to be called when the drink was ready. However, no name was ever called, and I had to keep checking the labels to see if my drink was ready. The location was good, however.
