2024-02-13 01:38:10The Sunnyvale Public Library is fantastic with lots of fun & educational programs, great book collections, and wonderful staff. Well worth visiting regularly. And they support zero waste! Rather than buying so many things, you can borrow then return so we have less clutter and junk :-)

2024-02-27 16:00:24Sunnyvale public library has very nice baby-room system for during 5 years. The baby room has Clean toy, strict time rule base on deposit by ID card.In the morning and dinner time are verybe crowded with guest, baby and protector. that time normally more then 10 babies, so Library excite waitlist. Therefore I prepare lunch time, in my experience several time.Ah, Break time 1-2P.M.

2024-06-28 22:24:40We found this library near our airbnb and we absolutely loved it, they do so many activities for the summer here highly recommend to take your kids here. They also have a kids room to play and my kids loved it, you get to spend 30 min each family which is good it doesn’t get overwhelming for the little ones

2022-03-25 05:33:13What a wonderful library. Has a huge book collection and ample space for working on your personal project. There is a special section for children and is very lively. This library also houses books in various foreign languages and is a must visit for anyone who enjoys reading in a quiet space.

2024-06-17 04:04:25In my opinion, Library is a library, the different is the staffs is what makes the library a excellent one. Now, with that being said, some of the staffs at Sunnyvale Library has absolutely No respect for seniors and Disable peoples. If you pay close attention to the staffs then you can tell. Also, you can tell that they are speaking Bad about some of the peoples but behind their back. Of course, they will not say it to their face because they know they will lose their job. Again, No respect for seniors and Disable peoples.

2023-12-04 03:42:28First time here, my daughter has a research project for her final due this week. The place is warm and welcoming.I like how spacious and open every place is that you really cannot hide if you were someone there doing mischievous things.Enrolling was super easy and comfortable at the customer service desk. A man helped us and was very helpful, so thank you 🙏🏽.We explored the library on our own and had a difficult time locating books we needed for her research project. They have readily accessible computers you can use to search the library catalog and I found 5 books within 1 minute on the computer and shortly after we located all 5 books and were so happy.I love how quiet the library was, very clean and organized. I love my local library 📚.

2023-12-07 22:24:003.5 would be my rating for this library. The staff and librarians are fantastic - Quite helpful and welcoming. The space and overall feel is lackluster. You are met with a stuffy and musty smell as you enter, and traversing the library often an unpleasant smell of body odors around homeless individuals sleeping or passing time. The lighting is a bit dim for my liking so makes it a little hard to browse for books or read. This is likely due to the overall lack of natural sunlight.A notice to share is many of the childrens books weve checked out arent treated kindly by readers. Tears, scribbles, etc that yes are to be expected but seems to be found at a higher rate than at other libraries. The other side of this, to be fair, is there are a fun assortment of kids educational tablets, games, etc. that are very appreciated. The selected reads for heritage months are done quite well and do a great job highlighting books from diverse authors and underrepresented backgrounds. To sum it up, and I believe this is already in the works, but the people are fantastic - the building needs a makeover. Its my understanding that a new Sunnyvale library is slated for construction in the next couple of years which will probably fully resolve the critique notes on the space. Thanks to staff and librarians for doing a great job keeping the library tidy and being helpful to guests!
