Had my four wisdom tooth out with this dental group with Dr. Chain. His is very professional, I recovered quick and don’t real feel much pain afterwards.The stuff here is always very friendly, the front desk lady - Angie, she is quick on her work and helping with plan options, also very responsible with the questions.I also do like the one stop service that they have own insurance for annual maintenance, regular service and surgical care.

Excellent experience and people. We initially had some miscommunication because I called in during lunch and got the back up call center. Late that evening the owner reached out caring enough to resolve the matter. All of the staff was extremely professional, empathetic and the work was very well done. This is a quality business and personnel, and I highly recommend Sunnyvale Dental Care.

Great place so far. I came for general exam after scannings and x rays they made some recommendations. So far deep cleaning has been great and painless. Angie the receptionists has really made me feel welcome and help me get a time that works as well as reschedule and explain the fees.

Horrible customer experience today. I was informed that I owe them 160$ for the treatment I took last year August (2023)and they just found about it today (May 2024). In between, I have taken multiple treatments.Attaching photo as proof from insurance that they processed it on September 2023 and also other payments I made to Sunnyvale Dental Care after that.When I asked whether the insurance company did not cover something they showed me some payment plan where it clearly shows it was a mistake from their end but they tried to put the blame on me and my insurance company.

Please beware I was a Invisalign patient and had a horrible experience. I check the reviews and relied on them but don’t fall for the trap like I did . I was bribed to write 5 star review in exchange for product on the first day I went to office I felt that was strange because how can I review a place when I haven’t even started treatment. Doctor refuses to address any concerns. Only seen doctor day one and last day of treatment. All other appointments will be to pick up a new set of trays and that’s it they don’t have no patient care.Billing issues every appointment they tried to say I owed way more, when I asked for breakdowns they had excuses like they have a new system so they don’t know how much I have actually paid. Place is unsanitary after using tools they are placed right back into drawer. Money and time down the drain.

I have never written reviews regarding my experiences at places but this office has made such a positive impact on my life, I felt credit is due.After getting plenty of in depth dental work done at Sunnyvale Dental, I am almost back to having a completely pain free mouth.Not only that, being able to actually fully smile with confidence and no longer constantly trying to hide my smile due to my teeth has been life changing. Something I haven’t been able to do in years.The doctors and staff there have been nothing but helpful and easy to work with, they caused my dental anxiety to completely vanish which I have greatly struggled with in the past. They ensured every procedure was always pain free and always provided maximum comfort.Once my dental health is fully restored and my dental visits will only consist of regular check ups, if I ever find myself have a dental emergency again, I know exactly where to go.

The journey took about 11 months, fixing problems like my overjet, overbite, and crooked lower teeth.Dr. Bhawna Gupta and her team were amazing. Dr. Gupta knows so much and always made time for me. Dr. Linda is very good with Invisalign treatment (5 stars to Linda). However make sure that office orders and distributes invisalign tray correctly. I had some hiccups in my treatment because of some mismanagement. Dr. Bhawna strives to ensure that you are taken care of.

I came in for some urgent dental care a couple of months ago, and had an appointment for 9 am as well. Upon arrival I was notified that the dentist was late, and 30 mins later was told they wouldnt arrive until 10 am. Another dentist saw me at 9:45 am and it was a very quick 5 min consultation. Didnt seem suitable for the $100 + I ended up paying for a 5 min consultation and a 45 min wait. Im sure its a one off incident but curious to see if its happened to others. However, staff were all friendly and kind.Updated with response to their reply: Thank you for taking time out to share a reply. However, I would really appreciate if the clinic promptly stops calling us to take down this review.I understand that forms take time to fill out - the forms took a total of 10 minutes to complete, so please do note on that. Understand that the booking was made as an emergency the night before, however, it is the clinics responsibility to let us know if the doctor would not be in for the day. We were not told this until after the long wait of 45 minutes. Please do note the details of the consultation as well. *This is just a recount of the experience, but as mentioned, I appreciated the friendly nature of the staff and hoped by sharing this review to improve the practices.

Its incredibly frustrating when Angie from the front desk behaves rudely. Her habit of chatting with someone else on the phone and disappearing without informing you is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful of your time and needs. Such behavior can certainly make the experience unpleasant and tarnish the reputation of the establishment. I previously recommend this place but won’t in the future. Will stop coming to this place after the Invisalign treatment.

Pretty shocked at all the 5 star reviews for this place. They are a total scam. Ive never once had a cavity until I started coming here and now every visit I supposedly have multiple. They also keep telling me that my overbite is destroying my teeth and that I need Invisalign which no other dentist has ever told me I needed. Im not sure Dr. Gupta knows what a cavity is all she seems to know is how to push Invisalign. Sorry if I dont take recommendations from a dentist office whose waiting room is covered in Invisalign marketing and advertisements. Suffice it to say I will never be going back there again.

UPD: I got the xrays after review was posted, and updated stars.=============================================Looking at all those positive reviews, I can see those were gathered at times when this practice was owned by Dr. Nasser, who is sadly passed away.I made a mistake to trust obsolete reviews and get implant consultation here. Once I had appointment with them, it doesnt look like they care to follow up with me afterwards.Prior getting consultation and quote, I asked them if they will share xray they are going to take. They assured me they will.Now, they dont even respond to emails and texts. I assumed that there might be some technical issue, and showed up at their reception again last week, kindly asking them if they do not receive my emails. They apologized, and told me they were busy, and are willing to correct it.Since then, I still have no scans, no follow up. Nothing.

EDIT: A note to anyone who is thinking about getting Invisalign done here. This office does Invisalign differently than most providers, you are required to wear the trays even while eating and change trays more frequently (every 4-5 days). I personally find this to be quite unpleasant and would prefer to take the trays out while eating. If this doesn’t sound appealing to you then I would recommend going with another provider.Professional staff and a smooth experience. No complaints from me.

Worst place ever in South Bay! STAY AWAY FROM DR. GUPTA and her team. Went to check a tooth that was bothering me. Made me to wait 40 mins due to overbooking and crowd. Wanted to update the review based on recent experience. First of all, Dr. Gupta, Linda are always good. But I want to take two stars off due to the bad experience at front desk. I am not based on one bad experience but multiples. There are lots of improvements that NEW front desk staff could do. I would prefer speak to the staff has been there for some time but not always get the chance.Bad experience example, if clinic due to some reasons need to cancel my appt at the exactly very last minute, please call me at the earliest. Rescheduling call is from me and the staff who answered the call can not book another appt efficiently and I don’t remember I heard any apologies.Another example, started to help the next patient meanwhile still scheduling my appt. I am pretty frustrated with Sunnyvale Dental Care. I became a patient here in late 2021 and during my cleanings or fillings I did a lot of waiting time in the chair mid-procedure for things like needing to get new tools and one time the water tank for the spray even ran out and they had to change it, lengthening my time spent waiting. After the doctor changed over late last year this has luckily improved but is very much overshadowed by the number of documentation issues I’ve faced with my payments/insurance. I’m looking into switching dentists mostly for this issue but I may have some credit with them that has been unresolved for 3 months.In the past year, a number of my treatment plans and their costs were printed out for me but I started to noticed some of the numbers weren’t lining up. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and eventually met up with their financials manager who looked my history and walked through it with me. Some of the teeth that were worked on vs what was printed on my treatment plan weren’t the same and it was claimed that some administrative mistakes are sometimes made. I understand mistakes happen but this seems to be an ongoing issue.She mapped out everything and gave me my ledger, finding that I potentially overpaid and therefore had credit to the them that can be looked into as soon as they cleared everything with my insurance and would call me back. Since I first brought this up 3 months ago, I’ve called back several times including questioning during my scheduled sessions on what the results of this possible credit was. Turns out their manager no longer works there and now I’m working with essentially a new set of admin on my ongoing issue. I’ve had to explain my inquiry so many times I’ve lost count. The turnover rate has also surprised me and it’s no wonder I haven’t built trust with this practice.

I needed to have two crowns put in, the teeth were side by side. They gave me the option to either do it one at a time or both at the same time. I booked an online consultation and was told a week in advance I could do it online and sent my dental records their way, but three hours before my appointment they said they had to come see me in person for a closer look at my teeth. I was absolutely terrified of getting my wisdom teeth removed before coming in here. And to be honest I trembled during the first half of the procedure. But Dr. Rong knew exactly what he was doing, and I didnt feel any pain during the procedure. It only took 30 minutes for 3 wisdom teeth to be pulled. Originally I questioned his decision to put me on Tylenol extra strength medication, but 24 hours later I feel absolutely no pain on the medication he prescribed. Had some issues for improper billing, but Jessica called me later and corrected the charges and initiated a refund of the extra payment. I would suggest this facility to have a patient portal to have easy access to all imaging, test reports and billing.

I had a very negative experience with this dental clinic. They overcharged me based on my insurance paying 70% when in fact they cover 80%. I tried arguing that I shouldnt have to overpay but they insisted they will refund me if my insurance covers it. Caving in to them turned out to be a big mistake. Trying to get that 10% overpayment back was *extremely* difficult. I called around 5-6 times and even went to the clinic 2 times just to deal with getting my overpayment back. Everytime I called, the receptionist would say that she needs to talk to the manager, waits several minutes, then says the manager is not available and that the manager will call me back before the end of the day. This happened 3-4 times and I never received a call back from the manager. Even when I went in person, the manager said she needed to discuss with the dentist about getting my money back and that she will mail a check (why not just charge back to card...?). So, not only did they overcharge me, they make it incredibly difficult to get that money back.Another issue is they perform services without first confirming costs with the patient. They took X rays without first checking with me to confirm that my insurance will cover it. My insurance only covers X rays every 2 years so I was not sure. For other services, they confirmed price and got my approval before performing them, so why not ask for X rays too? I thought the X rays were complimentary but turns out they were not.The more serious offence is, I argued with the staff during the day of my appointment to get them to waive off my charges for the X rays, and they agreed, and put a credit on my account...But later they REMOVED THE CREDIT! The only reason I found out is because I had an older invoice saved, and compared it with the newer invoice with the credit removed. Ridiculous to say the least.They also seem to lack expertise with respect to what dental codes will be covered by insurance. They tried charging me for a bunch of separate X ray codes, when in fact they should have charged me 1 xray code which was for a comprehensive set of xrays. They also charged me for both deep cleaning and regular cleaning on the same day, which I later learned from my insurance is against the American Dental Association guidelines, so I had to argue with insurance to cover that.Also the dentist and hygienist told me to floss too many times and also tried to push invisalign too much.I would not recommend this clinic.

Linda took extreme care of me with my initial x rays and prep for my first time getting consulting about straightening my teeth. Julia was amazing ... she understood my concern and helped fit an appointment on priority instead of just saying “appointment not available “!!!!- Dr. Antonio is very experienced and knowledgeable. I visited this dentist 3 years ago and had a terrible experience. It was a standard dental cleaning but the dentist wanted to give me nitrogen gas anyways. I declined and wow was that a mistake. It was the most painful cleaning of my life. Also, no dental hygienists? The dentist does everything? I got the distinct feeling that this is the kind of place that loves to recommend elaborate dental surgeries for a lot of $$$.Fast forward 3 years, they keep doing SMS marketing saying “it’s been a while since your last visit… come on back” and just today was “Join Sunnyvale Dental Care Membership Plan”. I’ve asked several times for them to remove my contact information and to stop texting me but they have not. I’ve used the network unsubscribe option of replying with “STOP”, but they use different phone numbers.I didn’t want to leave a review from one visit but their marketing and failure to comply with my request for privacy has changed my mind. This is a predatory establishment prioritizes your money over your health.

Staff is very nice. Been going for routine cleanings every 6 mos in another state for over 30 years. The last 5 cleanings have been in CA. First time with this male dentist and he tells me I have cracks in 4 of my teeth and should consider crowns. I have NO issues with my teeth at all. No pain and my last cavity was over 20 years ago. He was saying my old fillings could be a problem. Telling me my teetch could crack off from the front or back. I left there feeling scared and nervous about my teeth breaking apart in my mouth. Ive been to several dentists over my life and all never said any of this to me. Six months ago I had the female dentist at this practice and she did detail scans AND xrays of my teeth and never said anything like this. Not sure if this is a scam trying to push crowns for profit or he is the only dentist Ive had with xray vision. By the way, he looked at my xrays from 6 months ago (the same ones the female dentist looked at) to make this diagnoses. Thank goodness I refused new xrays or I would have thought this was something new. Still gave 4 stars because they did a great job cleaning my teeth.

I called around and no one could see me even though I was in a lot of pain. Jessica told me that they could see me the same day and to come on in. I went and they worked very hard to make sure I felt better. I couldnt even feel the needle they used. Dr Ankita used a soft hand and ensured I wasnt in any discomfort. I didnt even feel the needle for numbing. I had a mini root canal to stabilize the tooth and I didnt feel any pain at all. This was the absolute best dental experience Ive ever had. If youre on the fence, please do yourself a favor and book an appointment. They are very friendly and very nice there.

My crown broke on a Saturday so I found this clinic googling Sunnyvale Emergency Dentist. They are open on Saturday and took appointment for 2:15 through the call line. Unfortunately Dr. Gupta wasn’t really “feeling it” today so went on with 3 or 4 excuses to not do this today but next week. She obviously was busy and understaffed but I’ve called before going there so they could have simply told me not to go elsewhere or another day rather than having to go there and wait for hours and coming home with nothing done.I think she’s probably a good dentist but felt quite unorganized.I recently spoke with the centre again and I think they are good people and they followed up on what happened and did not charge me for the xrays. I think I only had a series of unfortunate events and perhaps are worth another visit, so I am adding another start with the benefit of doubt but I would kindly ask to pay more attention next time.I wish this center all the best and good 😊

This is my third time coming here. It’s always easy to make an appointment. Dr Gupta is patient and knows her stuff. I appreciate her helping hands such as “Mama” that’s what I kept hearing, as well as Linda and Julia. I had 9 cavities (not proud but I love chocolate and Covid made me delay my appointment) they fixed me up and separated my cavities into three days so I didn’t stay jaw wide open for hours on end and so I had one side to eat on, always.I also appreciated the reminders via text and email so I didn’t miss my appointment. Just yesterday, I had my 4 wisdom teeth removed. I was so nervous but the doctor’s knowledge made me feel better and I just trusted him and as Not surprisingly surgery was very quick without any issue. I felt no pain :-)after the surgery doctor gave the all the info that I should be following and gave me things I might need. This is my second day and I already started to feel very well. I scheduled an appointment for a regular dental cleaning. They took x-rays, the dentist came in said my teeth and gums are healthy and I only need a light cleaning. She also said my teeth are crowded and I my bite is not aligned, which need to be fixed. She asked if I had any questions, I said no, just wanted to get the cleaning done. Instead of starting cleaning, another person came in and to pictures /scanned my teeth. She gave a sales pitch for Invisalign, I told her I wasnt interested and cant afford it, and was just here for a clean. She brought me to an office where another person came in and gave a second sales pitch for Invisalign. I again told her I was only here for a cleaning. She said she could schedule the cleaning (for a different day!). She went to get the dentist, after 5min no one came and I walked out. A whole hour wasted for Invisalign sales pitches and no dental cleaning. If youre looking for a regular dentist, this isnt the place.
