Definitely worth a visit! Beautiful Sunflower maze, fresh fruit, sunflower based products like honey, oil, candy and other snacks. They also dog friendly so an excellent outing for your fur baby.

I’m a customer for over 15 years now. Always enjoy to visit this nursery! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Choice of plants and flowers unlimited. Prices are decent. Thanks a lot for a great service

This is a great place. good people and beautiful plants. The reason for the one star is because I bought an avocado tree about 4 weeks ago.. during the first week I had it the plant looked sad and droopy. Soil was moist so it wasnt thisty.. after that it was downhill.. I found out the root ball was completely rotten and the soil smelled like sewer.. this type of rot takes a long time to happen even if I had kept the entire plant submerged underwater it would not have rot that fast.. the rot had been going on for a long time.. so I called them and they said that all sales are final.. they sold me a dying tree for 60$. Most likely I will not return

Such a gorgeous space with a large variety of common and uncommon plants and trees for your home and garden. The owners and staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable here, and this is now officially our nursery of choice!

We fell in love with the beautiful gardens and flowers here!! And we LOVE that everything is organic!!! Van was so much help!! He was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. We will be back for more gardening supplies🌹🌺🌿🌻🦋⚘🎉

Amazing family who runs this garden. This is a little treasure in the city. A definite must see. Also, their cat, Charlie chaplain, is a real gentleman. Come here to chat with the owners and pick up a plant during your visit. 10 of 10 would recommend.

It was definitely challenging to find parking for this place. On the street, is the only option. I got stuck circling around a few times to get a spot. Almost didn’t go. There was a lot of construction going on in the blocks near there.It is a cute little place to go, they have great customer service, and had a nice ambiance. They have a pretty good selection of plants, but they didn’t have a few types I usually look for. Prices are a bit high, but maybe it’s needed in the current environment we are in to keep going? Could be understandable. They do have a Pumpkin patch area in the front for photos and a sunflower patch area.

We called from out of state to get an herb basket delivered. The national flower websites mostly do plants and flowers. We also wanted to support a local business mom and pop type shop. The service was Incredible. She didn’t have a herb basket so created one w 10 diff herbs. Sent photos along the way and hand wrote a note for us. I was blown away by the quality, service and kindness. I usually don’t take time leave lengthy reviews but this place is phenomenal.

Service is friendly and prices are ok. Yes, parking can be a bit of a challenge.A plus is the location; it’s across from the Japanese supermarket Tokyo Central. They also have a food court.

Love this nursery! Hidden Gem. I used to take my kids when they were little just to walk around and experience the beautiful setting theyve created there. The owners son is always always helpful when I come and the employees are so sweet. Theyre my favorite nursery out of my Top 3 nurseries in South Bay. If they dont have something theyll order it for you

Not your average nursery. Almost ethereal, from the music to the plants. You can find herbs, flowers, trees, succulents and more. What a lovely place. Took a moment and walked the entire place, broke a sweat but it was worth it. There are several spots where you can sit and relax, you might see a cat or two ☺️. The staff are very nice and helpful. Would definitely visit again and again.

This is my favorite nursery in LA county. I have been to dozens and no one matches the natural setting, meticulous but organic agriculture, variety and knowledge. This place is so great i dont think Ill go to any others anymore. I used to go to Rolling Greens in Culver City but between the intense markup and hipster vibes i wasnt enjoying it. Would definitely recommend this for anyone. They have a slightly smaller indoor plant area but they had everything i wanted.

Five stars is not enough. The stars in my heart - create an infinity loop. I worked remotely from SF with the amazing team at Sunflower Farms to select, assemble and install a very, very special surprise gift. They listened so carefully to what I wanted, and went above and beyond. Wendy, Russell, Drew, Ben...(anyone else I may have missed) I sought out a family run business for this project because family run = passion and I was not disappointed. You redefine both kindness and exceptional customer service. The quality of your plants and your horticulture knowledge is equally impressive. I am deeply grateful.

I love Sunflower Farms. The staff are so helpful, knowledgeable and fun. I especially like finding more unusual varieties of plants everytime I stop in. Bought a birthday gift for a friend whose is crazy for rare plants. My husband is a member of the Firewood Club. We went today to restock for a fire tonight. We may go back for one if the new Flowering Peach Trees, peppermint stripe is a stunner. This is my favorite local spot & independent family business.

This Nursery was such a treat. Stopped by because of the pumpkin patch display I saw while driving. There is so much to see... lush greenery, succulents, a pond, resident cats, fairy garden. Felt like I was walking through my own secret garden. My 6 year old loved it and found her pumpkins for this Halloween. It wasnt overwhelming like other big Pumpkin Patches. My teenager said its her new happy place. The staff were so welcoming, and we totally felt like guests.

I don’t usually write reviews. But today I visited Sunflower Farms for the first time and I was impressed beyond expectation. Sunflower Farms has the most genuine down to earth and helpful staff of any plant nursery I’ve visited in The South Bay. Apparently the owner, Russell, knows how to read people because his staff is the best in the biz. They’re approachable and knowledgeable and they genuinely want to make human connections with their customers. I felt valued as a person from the interactions I experienced at Sunflower Farms today.The environment is also setup very cool, kinda like a labyrinth of plant varieties, which makes the experience more fun than the typical nursery. I found myself wanting to get lost instead of shopping with purpose. That said, the place is substantial in size, which translates to a LOT of plants (they’ll probably have what you’re looking for or something better).Bottom line: I’ll definitely return again and I hope my review will encourage others to visit Sunflower Farms too.

Just awesome. Great selection of indoor and outdoor plants. I came in for some soil for my succulents and also ended up with some cool indoor plants. I live in an apartment so thats about all I need, but I saw one woman helping a couple out with what sounded like a project so it seems like they offer that type of support too i.e. landscaping your yard. I cant remember the name of the gal who helped me (younger woman), but she was super helpful and so nice! A+ for customer service! Will definitely be back next time I need something plant related.

This place is our favorite! We drive over an hour to come, and no matter how bad traffic is it is worth every minute! We have purchased so many unique one of kind type plantings, and they have not only helped us create a beautiful outdoor environment at home, it has also inspired us to get creative and use materials at hand to make our own creations. Diana is so great, kind and knowledgeable.No matter where in SoCal you may be, make a point of stopping in when you are out and about!!

I just love love love, Sunflower Farms! One word to describe this nursery?? Heaven on Earth. I love how you can just wonder around the grounds and visit with all the beautiful flowers and plants. First time there and it is a nice and organized shop. We were able to find Milkweed pots for our caterpillars. They eat so much all day long and makes harder to feed them.

I went this store a couple of days ago to get lavender. First I went to a different store and bought 12 pots. I wanted 10 more pots. So I researched and found this store.First, I called to ask if they have lavender.She/Katie was very nice on the phone. I could get 10 pots of lavender.I was really surprised when I saw the lavender. They were in pretty good condition. The other one that I got from different stores are very dry and look very weak, and the price was higher.I will go back to Sunflower Farms when I buy flowers.

Huge nursery. Large selection. Great prices. Helpful staff. Bought a large jasmine plant that was already about 5 feet tall for 40 bucks. Will definitely be back for some fruit trees and boxwood.

Custom ordered a 5 gallon plant that was supposed to include a stake for $40. Since we brought it home, the plant has been dying. I called in yesterday and let them know. Today, Russell, one of the owners, gave me a call. They are completely taking care of me and replacing the plant. They have also offered to continue to help me take care of the plant in case of any issues. The sales staff and owners are extremely nice and approached my problem with true sincerity. I’m very happy with how they handled the situation and I’ll definitely return in the future.

I LOVE Sunflower Farms Nursery! The garden center is filled with fruit trees, succulents and cactus, so many herbs - medicinal herbs and edible herbs - and vegetables plants. Wandering around the property is like being in a botanical garden. Theres so much to see and there are delightful scents wherever you turn.I purchased some seasonal plants and the cutest items for a fairy garden! I cant want to go back again. Wendy and Ron Akiyama are the best.

1 gallon plans sold by $10 each doesnt matter what kind.5 gallons plants $30. Its crazy. Go to nursery in front of this, and they have all plants 1 gallon for 4.99 and all 5 gallon for 12 dollars. Compare and think twice before you go to that worst place. Please dont waste your money. Create your garden smart and save money.

This place is gigantic and has some very neat areas to explore and/or shop. The prices are pretty good and I was able to pickup seeds and vegetable types of plants for growing summer salads and juicing.Excited about my 12 Collard Green 👍

This is a true garden center and worth a visit even if you are not buying. The friendly competent owners are very hands-on and usually present. Plus the staff are really nice. It is a serene, happy place to walk around and look at plants.
