Replaced drapes in kitchen area with shutters. After initial estimate & measurement of corner windows, the rep suggested 2/3 split rails for day privacy.So glad, it works well. Moises, did a fantastic job, from start to finish. He removed drapery hardware as a courtesy, and even hauled it away to be recycled. He was skilled at his craft and answered all my questions. The two roller shades over the sliding doors look amazing as well. Very positive experience from estimate to installation, highly recommend Sunburst Shutters, Shades & Blinds!

Kimball our local representative for Sunburst Shutters in Ladera Ranch, CA has continued to go above and beyond for us. When we first purchased our home we decided to add additional shutters to our home. Kimball was prompt and professional getting us what we needed like we were old friends. Since then I’ve been able to call on him for random things like preparing a blind that broke from child’s play in my home and later for replacement magnets which he personally dropped on my doorstep at no cost to me. Really a five star person and company. We highly recommend using them. And the shutters are gorgeous, we always get compliments on them. Thank you again Kimball and Sunburst Shutters.

From start to finish, Sunburst Shutters has given the best in service. There was a long wait while the custom shutters were being made, but it seems we have long waits for everything now. I contacted them several times during the wait, and Karyn was always extremely polite and patient with her updates of my order. Because of my calendar error, the installer, Omar, showed up when I wasn’t expecting him. Didn’t bother him in the least that the area wasn’t fully prepped yet. “Don’t worry” - “No problem” His work was fast and efficient, and there was no mess at all. I shouldn’t forget to add that Dan, the estimator, was also great. I can only do a few windows at a time, and there was no pressure from him to buy even though he measured the whole house. It’s a good team here and backed by Lowes also.

I got a quote from Costco, Home Depot and Sunburst for shutters and roller shades. All were roughly within the same price point (just a couple hundred dollars off with Costco being the most expensive and Home Depot being the least expensive). Since the pricing wasnt too much of a difference, I decided to go with Sunburst because they had the best reviews.All was going well until the day of installation. I had an appointment scheduled for an installer to arrive between 11am and 1pm and they even sent me a text message at 9am that morning to confirm. Well, I waited and waited and no one showed up. So I contacted Sunburst a little after 1pm to see if someone was on the way. After a few minutes, Cammy replied that the installer would arrive around 2:30pm. I was annoyed that no one bothered to let me know that the installer was running late and voiced my frustrations about the lack of communication. One of the owners called me back to apologize and said that sometimes projects go a little bit longer than expected and it pushes the other projects back. I told him I understood that things dont always go as planned but I was annoyed because no one made an effort to let me know that they were behind schedule and it wasted my time. He again apologized and said that an installer would be at my place by 3pm. Well... 3pm rolls around and no ones here. I contacted the sales rep, Dan Wyatt, who ignored my text message about the whereabouts of the installer. I called the owners extension and it went to VM. I called Cammy who picked up but put me on hold to see where the installer was. After waiting, she finally told me that a different installer (Francisco and not Omar) would arrive in about 10 minutes. He didnt get here until 3:30pm. He didnt finish the job that same day because of missing parts and he couldnt go back to the warehouse because it was too late in the day. He said someone would contact me to schedule a day when they could come out to finish up. Well... guess what... no one called. After nearly 24 hours, I called the office and they were not aware that the job wasnt finished but said that they would call me back once they figured out the schedule. Needless to say, I was not happy about their lack of communication.As for the installation, it was rushed because it was late in the evening so there were areas in the caulking where sunlight seeped through during the day time. But the installer did touch up the areas after I mentioned it to him.Not sure if I would recommend their service because they wasted my time with their lack of communication.

Just got my plantation shutters installed. They look great!!! I cant recommend Sunburst enough. Quality material at a great price.Salesman Kimball listened to our wants and needs and came through with a design that worked great. Eight windows and a 10ft sliding patio door. The slider took a little planning, but it came out better than expected. Their build time was faster than expectedThe installer was fast and did quality work. Hes a nice guy too.If youre looking for shutters I highly recommend Sunburst.

We had Sunburst Shutters install shutters in all of our windows inside our home. Let’s fast forward 15 years later. We noticed some of the magnetic attachments on the window sills had worn due to sun exposure. I called SB and they GRACIOUSLY mailed out the number of attachments I needed at no charge. Yes, 15 years later they did this. This is what customer service used to be.I can’t thank them enough for doing this and being so helpful. To this day the existing shutters are still in excellent condition including the finish and workmanship.Needless to say I HIGHLY recommend this upstanding company for any shutters you may need.

Ive had a couple different companies bass wood shutters over the years, but this time I decided to try Sunbursts Polywood Shutters and Im glad I did. The quality is outstanding and the look is much better than the other companies shutters Ive had. Their consultant Dan is highly experienced and made the process very easy. He and the owner also took care of a small administrative issue I had in a blink of an eye. Their installer Omar is outstanding and being a contractor myself, I defiantly recommend you purchase your shutters with them.

The whole experience with Sunburst Shutters was exceptional. They came to our home and explained all of our options. They had the samples and pictures to help us choose. The prices were better than Home Depot and the materials are superior. We had updated calls letting us know the progress on the shutters. They finished two weeks earlier than anticipated. Ricardo came to install the shutters. He was punctual, quick, friendly, and courteous. We love that they were able to just add to our existing window modeling. We enjoyed Sunbursts poly wood product. Its high quality, elegant look and ease of maintenance. We had the shutters installed in our previous home for more than eight years and never had any problem. Josh called first and arrived right when he said he would. He was very professional and had my great looking shutter up in no time. he also was very clean and left no mess. He had to do another louver repair for me and it came out perfectly. I was very pleased with everything.I was cleaning my windows while he was here and one of my screens needed tweaking to get back on and he so nicely got it on for me. I am happy with Sunburst Shutters, especially their quality of products and great pricing. I chose Polywood shutters because it is better looking and more resistant to sun beam. Also Polywood shutters are made in the U.S.A. and they offer life time warranty. One representative, his name is Gould came to our house to measure and offered the best price. Also I like their payment method. I can even pay the bill with a credit card without surcharging. Many of others are charging 3% processing fee when I pay with a credit card. Finally Jose came to install the shutters. They were well installed and now our family are enjoying the shutters very much. I recommend Sunburst shutters to anyone who is thinking about shutters

Josh installed our shutters in our San Diego home this week. This is a follow-up purchase. More than 10 years ago we purchased shutters from Sunburst and love them. A few of the shutters are in direct sunlight most of the day so the plastic clips that hold the magnet on the shutters to keep them closed cracked and broke off. We called sunburst and they sent a tech out to replace the broken ones under their lifetime warranty plan. While here they also made an adjustment to one shutter that sagged a bit which was also free. We were so impressed with how professional and responsive they were to a customer that bought something from them a long time ago we decided add shutters to our master bedroom and guest bedroom. Josh came out and installed the shutters and even though we already owned shutters from them he took the time to again go through the care and maintenance of them, the proper way to open and close them and of course the warranty policy. During his visit he was very professional and even removed his shoes when walking across the carpeted area of our house so as not the track any dirt in. He also did a nice job of cleaning up after the install.Thanks Josh for a very professional visit.

I purchased Sunburst Polywood shutters in 2002 for my condo. They have performed great and the add a very classy look to the home. I have needed magnets replaced and called Sunburst and they mailed them to me.I purchased a home in Downey, CA and called Sunburst and saw the same representative that I purchased them from in 2002. Meanwhile I received 2 other bids from competing Shutter companies. Sunburst came in the lowest. This is great because I really wanted to do business with them again.The first time in 2002 I did 4 windows. This time I did 16 windows. We used Sunburst Shutters for polywood plantation shutters throughout my new house in 2010. Recently (2013), my son had the shutters open in his room and bent down to pick something up... he got up quickly, standing up right under the open shutter, and the shutter broke off and shattered on the wood floor. (Fortunately, his back hit the shutter, and he was perfectly fine.) I called Sunburst Shutters to get a quote to have that left panel fixed, and they sent an installer to check out the scene later that afternoon!! SAME DAY! I then got a call from Genise, who told me theyd replace the panel, installed, for FREE!!!!!! I was floored! We also used Sunburst Shutters throughout my old house, and I would never goto anyone else... all 3 of my experiences with them have been GREAT! I LOVE our shutters and Genise and their whole staff are are AMAZING!
