Absolutely loved the girls working there, one was named Mackenzie and even offered me a job at their Sacramento location. Unfortunately I have plans elsewhere this summer but if I didn’t I’d be working there now. I drove from davis because I wanted a quality, genuinely healthy, nutritious, and filling smoothie and I trusted Sun and Soil based on the menu. I am so glad I did, I will be making the 15 minute trip regularly because I believe it’s worth it!

For cold pressed juice and smoothies a vegan option fear this place is top-notch. The best in Northern California everything is %100 organic. They have delicious dairy free cheesecakes that you need to try. They have a delicious black rice salad and from their drink I like the cold pressed green queen and beauty and the beat have bold flavors that are not too rich coming off as well-balanced. Today I stopped in at closing minute and thankfully was able to score a new drink on my list the beat lemonade which was great for this 80° weather in beautiful Sacramento. Special shout-out to Dana who give me the recommendation and added some cayenne to give my drink a Kick.

Not a place for food... chickpea sandwich was mushy and vegetables appeared stale. Quinoa salad had bitter aftertaste. The food options ruin the reputation of vegan cuisine. Staff was polite, but had no desire to welcome me. Atmosphere is cool

My first experience with Sun and Soil was thru a third party app. The third party app was horrible, but Sun and Soil was great and I highly recommend ignoring the construction and heading over for some vegan food and drinks. I had a heart bar and a sweet greens juice. Both were terrific. Dana took care of me. She was lovely and helpful—making great recommendations on what to try.. Juices are pricey and I don’t know that I will buy that regularly, but everything else was reasonable. I will be back and will be ordering their food online too. Great for vegans or people with dietary issues.

I went into sun and soil a few days ago and was kindly greeted with a warm smile from an employee named Dana. She was a breath of fresh as she guided me through my order with it being my first time there. Not only that but she was very patient with my son as he has special needs and can’t quite understand how to order. My food was GREAT and her customer service was even better! I will DEFINITELY be back and have even recommended this establishment to my friends.Thanks so much

Best juice and smoothie place in Sacramento! Their vegan cheesecakes, tamales, chili and other food items are pretty good, too. The Haut Toddys great when for when you have a cold, flu or are suffering severe allergy symptoms, but beware the cayenne pepper kick. 💖

This was the best acai bowl I have ever had and a good size for the price. The barista today was awesome. Everything tasted fresh. Lots of plants. Would love to go back and try more on the menu sometime.

Pros: cute place. Love that they are vegan/vegetarian, theres wifi, seating and a good amount of selections. Their quinoa salad is really good.Neutral: celery juice. Taste exactly as it shouldCon: spent $9 plus added tip for a pandan latte with an extra espresso shot with cashew milk. The temperature of the drink felt over 190° so it took around 8 minutes to cool down enough for me to drink it. Tasted like water with a splash of disintegrated nut milk. Tasted no coffee despite the extra shot and I guess the pandan taste was more like an essence. That drink made me soooo sad

Sun & Soil is a special spot and I’m so glad they were able to come back strong after the pandemic. Their grab and go menu items are amazing - the portobello & pesto sandwich is such a treat, the tahini cups are divine, and the forbidden rolls are beautifully fresh and creative. If you’re looking for legitimately clean eating, this is the place. AND there are happy, flourishing plants everywhere!

This is the only juice bar in Sacramento that is cold-pressed, certified organic, and unpasteurized. They also offer organic vegan snacks and foods. Doesnt get any healthier than this! Everything is delicious. Highly recommend if you are looking for something healthy to nourish your body. Currently only offering delivery and curbside pickup. Can’t wait to try one of their juice cleanses. I heard the three day one is good.I had the BBQ Chickpea Sando and it was super delicious and had fresh ingredients. It is vegan. Also had the Beta Boom juice. It wasn’t my first pick but they said it was “press day” so they were out of some flavors. It was drinkable but was not super sweet. I probably won’t get it again.

We love Sun & Soil! Every smoothie we’ve tried is just the right thing. Smooth, healthy and fresh taste, just pure goodness. We especially like the stress-free strawberry and the royal turmeric bomb. Right now the Aloha fundraiser smoothie is also a fave. Want to try the bowls, I know they will be great. Staff is always friendly and helpful when we have questions.

Great little juice place. I purchased a two day juice cleanse. All the juices were great except the carrot - tasted pretty gross. I also bought two of their mushroom soups which were so yummy. I wish I could remember the name of the girl at the counter- she was super helpful. I’ll definitely go back.

Ive just discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and have already been in a few times. The staff are down to earth and very kind, and the food is delicious. I tried the vegan strawberry cheesecake today, and honestly its better than non-vegan cheesecake (which was my favorite dessert pre-vegan). Im incredibly grateful to have somewhere to go to get healthy (and delicious!) foods.

I love this place. Ive never been disappointed at any of their offerings. The vibe is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. Everything they offer is amazing. A few of my favorites are acai bowl, oats bowl, immunity shot, sweet greens, beet and lemon frozen pop, forbidden rolls, the glass noodle salad, coco hero, beauty & hart bars, blackberry vegan cashew nut cheesecake. My favorite part of coming here is knowing I dont have to be concerned about what Im putting in my body. Im on a strict diet and this menu is like sunshine to my soul.(& the fact that they are on the too good to go app is ultimate proof that they walk the talk. In case the product wasnt proof enough.)

I can’t believe the one star reviews some people have left. This place deserves a 5 star rating. Rarely do you get such high quality food for the price. I was really impressed by the bowl I got and the ginger shot. I would recommend not using plastic for in store orders.

A peaceful, hidden gem with healthy options and a pleasant atmosphere. I listened to the employees banter (and one train a new one) as I did my work there for two hours. The acai bowl was delightful. The environment was light and refreshing, and I knew I could hang there longer if I wanted to.

Pretty rude customer service from Hispanic female. Definitely felt like they try to estimate a longer wait time (45minutes) so you would leave, noticed lots of people leave because of the absurd time estimate. My smoothie only took about 20 minutes compared to the 45 minutes she estimated. I don’t want to feel like an inconvenience when I am paying 10 for a smoothie. Just because you are understaffed does not justify rude customer service.

I do really enjoy the products we buy here. We have for many years. I get my wife an açaí bowl multiple times a week. I am disappointed that the bowl recently became much smaller without any change in price, notice, or description.Just a warning, it does take longer than one might think, even for online orders, but it does tell you at the time of order confirmation. Everything is made with exacting deliberation == high quality.

We got a cortado with oak milk which as slightly below average for taste, next was an acia bowl which was decent but had boring toppings and was overpriced for the size, lastly the Iron something smoothie which was above average for taste. It was a pleasant overall experience but wouldnt think of it as a go to place. If I do go back Ill try different things to see if Im missing something. To be fair I would give 3.5 stars if I could.Helpful suggestions for the acai bowl would be to add more toppings like blue berries, bee pollen, coconut shreds and some toasted nuts.

Every time Im in Sacramento, I always go to Sun & Soul Juice company. Whether its to get an Acai bowl, a smoothie or just some cold pressed juice, everything is delicious. This time I noticed they even have their take on Otter pops and lots of new products.They have switched to plastic bottles which is probably cheaper *and safer* than glass, but I always enjoyed the aestetic of the glass bottles, so Ill turn the few I have left into vases.Definitely a must visit if you enjoy fresh juice and healthy options.

I love love Iove this shop! I’ve been a loyal customer for over 5 years. My body always feels rejuvenated when I feed it with any of the nourishing things on the menu. I’ve done several of their juice cleanses, had their delicious veg chili warm me up in the winter, have enjoyed quite a few chickpea sandos and couldn’t have gotten through the pandemic without the chocolate crunch bars. “The Flash” special juice and the forbidden rice salad are my absolute fav! Poor customer service every time, will no longer return.Twice I have walked a mile and a half with my 2 small children to get smoothies. The first time took 20 minutes for one smoothie and only one person was ahead of me. The second time I placed an online order to avoid the wait only to find out by the time I walked there, they did not want to make the smoothie because it was too much mess for them to clean up close to closing time.I had to walk mile and a half back home in the heat with 2 hungry kiddos. Juice was offered, but there were only non-kid friendly juices left and I was already turned off that they would not honor the order I already placed and paid for. I walked away with out my money or product. I wish this was the friendly, accessible neighborhood place it should be.

This was one of my worst coffee experiences of my life. The staff didn’t know how to make either of the drinks I ordered - an Americano was one. Water and espresso you need me to train them better or get new people. The manager was wonderful. Sorry but no go on the coffee scene.

Its a great, serene space in a quiet part of town.Ive had their bottled juices before (maybe from whole foods?) and enjoyed them. For our anniversary weekend, my wife and I planned a bunch of fun shopping downtown and bookmarked S&S as a must-visit. I am so very glad that we did!I had the Downtown Molly Brown, which was hearty and fortifying. The spices used in the drink give it a very unique and delicious flavor. I was drooling over the sandwiches in the fridge case, but I was trying to save my appetite for a later, more substantial meal. Would absolutely grab one of those if I lived or worked nearby and made regular stops. On that note, I cant wait to stop by again!

The juice is great, I love the quality. Its $11 per bottle but you get $2 back if you recycle the glass so it really ends up being $9. Best quality juice. 7/11 is my new spot now though because they have not a fresh but cold pressed juices in glass bottles now with organize pure ingredients and nothing else plus theyre 2 for $5 so now thats where I go daily but once in awhile Ill go here for the absolute best and freshest juice anywhere.

Store should open at 830, if you show up at their opening time you’ll have to wait minimum 15 minutes for the employee to get everything ready. Kind of a funny concept for an early opening store to not understand the concept of customers being on a morning schedule.Smoothies are not the same as they used to be. I go to capital squeeze generally every morning (except Sunday) and pay less for a larger smoothie, and better service. It took 10 minutes to make my smoothie with no others around. Terrible smoothie and terrible customer service. I paid $10 for a small Stressfree Strawberry smoothie, but it was aweful. I asked politely if I could either exchange it or get a refund. The girl behind the counter absolutely refused. She even denied the fact that other eating establishments WOULD give a refund or exchange to their customers. I was nice and polite and reasonable, but she was not! I drove all the way from Citrus Heights just to try their smoothies, and now because of all this, I wont return. I have 3 pregnant friends who were looking for a nice healthy place to eat and drink at. But after this expensive disaster, none of us will return. Word to the wise - ANY place in town can make your smoothies! NOTHING is proprietary about your menu! I bought a sandwich and about 2 weeks later, a salad. I eat a whole food plant based diet. The price was high for what I received. No matter, quality means more. Each item was really old/ low quality and pre-made/prepackaged like youd get in a gas station. The lettuce on the salad was brown and terrible. Was excited to try this place out. Sadly was rudely greeted by an unpleasant employee. When asked what was in one of their shots she pointed to their fridge and said it says it on the label. Aside from their rude employee, they do not produce fresh juices when requested, not sure if it was because of this employee or if its there standard procedure. In any case, not a pleasant experience at all. Will not be going back and I dont recommend this place to anyone.

This is a very good place for juices but service today was ver bad. Mariah was being very difficult. Heres my story:I was returning bottles and I asked if I had enough points for a free drink. For whatever reason. Mariah used my bottle credit toward the drink. II told her that I wanted to use points if I had them. You would think that would be an easy fix, right??? Redo the transaction. Yet Mariah said she already rung it up and I could tell she was perplexed. I said could you just start over. Then Mariah started debating with me about what she told me earlier on using the bottle credit vs points. I said can you just do what I ask? She continued to debate what she said. Really??? Even if that were true the right thing to do would be to say, sorry about that, let me start over. Mariah was more bent on proving what she said she would do. By this time, Im done. I said cancel it and just give me money. Mariah said you dont want the drink. I said no as she was making it difficult. I asked for the manager and owners name. Mariah said I could look it up on google as its well known with an attitude. I said could you just give me the name and your name as I wanted to make sure I included it on my yelp review. Mariah finally gave it to me.The name for the owner I was given is Tiffany. Tiffany if you read this review. Please train Mariah on what customer service looks like and what it should be.
