Our experience was very smooth. Gerald was great, very open and responsive communications in the days leading up to our visit, he answered all of our questions thoroughly, and facilitated the process very smoothly and professionally. The inevitable back and forth when it came down to the final working out of numbers (always the worst part) was kept to a minimum. The entire process from start to finish took approx 3 hours. The dealership is a little on the small side but it is clean and a welcoming environment. Overall we are very happy with our experience.

I called Jose Gutierrez at Subaru. He was recommended to me by a friend who purchased a car from him. I told him what I was looking for and within minutes I received a call and he found what I was looking for. He was very accommodating and considerate of my time. He waited for me till I was off work that evening. When I arrived he had the car waiting in the front for me, ready to test drive. He worked his magic and within a couple hours I walked out with a great deal, and the car I was searching for the last few months. Jose was friendly and made me comfortable with closing the deal. All the other dealers I visited didn’t have sales people as courteous, knowledgeable, polite, and patient. I will be referring all my family and friends to Jose in the future. Thank you Jose!

It was an overall great experience. Eric Morales was my salesman. He was very well informed about all of the vehicles that I had inquired about, he helped me to narrow down my choices and ultimately led me to a car that I absolutely loved! I went in thinking I knew what I wanted but he showed me so many options and one piqued my interest. Even when I chose the car, he was well informed about all of the ins and outs of the car, the accessories, the warranties, etc. Eric was very likable and attentive and kept it very straightforward. I appreciated the cool calm collectedness of Eric, the knowledge, and the tailoring to my car needs. He was truly the best part about the experience. Had been looking for a white Forester with the Wilderness package and had stopped into several dealerships. Some didnt even make contact with me, but I had a decent engagement with another dealer and was ready to pull the trigger. I thought I would pop into San Bernardino and see what they had. As I walked on the lot I was greeted by a young man named Andrew who offered to help, but not in a pushy way. He was professional, had a pretty strong knowledge of the products, and just a nice guy to have a conversation with. He was very courteous and patient as I examined the vehicle in detail. Originally, I was going to just check out the vehicle and leave (returning to the previous dealer), but after the positive experience I thought I would give them a shot. I was introduced to Jose, one of the managers. I told them the price I was looking for and while their best price was a little bit higher than I was looking at, the experience was enough that I considered giving San Bernardino a chance.I left, but returned a few hours later with my wife. We drove the car one more time to make sure it was exactly what we wanted and then decided to go for it. The exceptional customer service continued as we were introduced to Joshua who joined Andrew and Jose in helping us wrap up the deal. We went through all the registration, car walk through, and other details before being turned over to finance. We were turned over to Jesse in finance and continued providing amazing service.While we were originally going to go with another dealer, Andrews initial service followed by a great team changed our mind. We got a great deal, a great car, and first class customer service. Not only would we return we also will recommend Subaru of San Bernardino to anyone looking for a Subaru.

Gerald was the MOST professional, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and genuine sales representative!We were there for quite some time and pretty late; he offered water, snacks, and most importantly gave our 6 yr old coloring sheets with crayons to keep her occupied. This is the second Subaru I have purchased from San Bernardino. I live in LA and have been to other Subaru dealerships and I must say the customer service at SB is top notch. Austin G. and John S. were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They gave me options and made sure I was happy with my purchase. Austin took the time to show me multiple vehicles and was able to explain the differences between the different trims in a way that was easy for me to understand.I came in wanting to trade in my Legacy for the Outback through Subarus trade in program. Both Austin and John made the transition so seamless. Oh did I mention I took my one year old daughter and they definitely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and the process moved fast! Don’t come to the dealership I came here to get a diagnostic to see what’s going on with my vehicle. Just said There is all types of stuff wrong with it like the brakes I needed to change and the oil was low and that was a lie because I checked the oil and it was low. They said I needed transmission fluid flush. Rip you off and charge you $220 for a diagnostic as well. After when I was done with my stuff, I noticed a crack on my windshield and they saying it wasn’t them and they told me that they ran a test drive on my vehicle. My windshield because when I had it, it did not have that. Mechanics and workers are just a bunch of habitual liars

My experience has been great since I started taking my new Subaru Outback for service to this dealership in 2021. At the beginning of this year, I needed to change the battery in my key. Upon putting it back together, it just came apart on me, and I figured that it was no longer any good, and they are expensive! I stopped by the parts center and Mike Noriega helped me and got it all back together for me! He was very helpful and said they are happy to help any time. I was very happy to get it fixed! They are expensive to replace! I really appreciate this dealership and the friendliness and efficient service they offer.The Service Center is the same way. My salesman John literally came to pick me up in Green Valley Lake from The Black Dog Social Club because I was stranded up here with no car and Uber wouldnt come pick me up. Whenever I go to a car dealership to buy a car, I’m a little apprehensive, because I always feel like I don’t want to be pressured or feel like I’m rushed or that I might be taken advantage of. I can honestly say Matthew was so real and was not pushy, and he provided all the details I needed to be comfortable with my purchase. I purchased a Subaru outback, and the car is absolutely beautiful, it has all the bells and whistles that I love and the color is exactly what I wanted. I absolutely love the quality of my car. Also, as we were deciding ifthis was the car for our family the dealership made it comfortable for us and offered us beverages, coffee or water, and just gave us time to make an informed decision as well as worked with us As we worked out the details of a comfortable payment, etc. Also of the other sales manager named Sam came over several times, asking us if we wanted any water if we were comfortable and everything was going well, we really appreciated him. Seems like all of the staff work really well together. One thing I really liked about Matthew Rodriguez Is that I feel like he really wanted us to be comfortable our purchase including monthly payment etc. It’s like he put us above the sale. This is a great dealership with great people, Jose helped us find the perfect truck, but it was not ready the day we looked at it, so the team took it upon themselves to work on that truck all week until it was ready. As soon as it got pulled up front Jose gave us a call and we came in and secured the deal. Overall a great experience, would %100 go back because they take good care of you. My recent visit to the Subaru dealership in San Bernardino left me disappointed. Despite being assured that the vehicle I wanted in my preferred color was available, I was informed otherwise just as I was preparing to make a two-hour drive after work to pick it up. Additionally, after agreeing on a price of $42,000 out the door with a warranty, the salesman attempted to add extra costs for an extended warranty, feigning ignorance about our previous agreement. Its essential for customers to request an itemized list of charges and question each one to avoid such issues.Furthermore, upon purchasing a brand new car, I was surprised to discover that the dealership had not removed the window stickers, leaving me to remove them and deal with the sticky residue myself. This lack of attention to detail was disappointing and detracted from what should have been an exciting experience.

Great purchase experience started with great customer service at the door from Mark Matta, thank you for immediately connecting with my children and I, seating us, offering water, and finding our salesman even though it wasn’t yourself. Then when our sales person/internet manager, Jeff Zylstra, came along he took us on a test drive with two cars we were interested in buying but we’re sure which one not when we were going to purchase. Two days later without pressure Jeff text me regarding my experience and interest in the car, that next day we came in and met with him to make our purchase. It was quick, comfortable and nothing added to the deal unexpectedly. Afterwards we financed with Terri whom has many years experience at San Bernardino Subaru and was very helpful with our process. Throughout the entire experience which really only took a few hours, we were treated respectfully and they were all thorough. Thank you to the whole team I appreciate it. My first visit in this dealership was disappointing. The salesperson assisting me really wanted to help me but the Sales Manager that sat with us was way too rude and insensitive. As a customer, I want to get the best deal out of our hard earned money. When I gave him the price I was comfortable with, he looked at me and said with his eyebrows raised, you know, I also want to live in Beverly Hills but I cannot afford it, thats why I live in Fontana. He quickly stood up,put away the folder, and gave it to the salesman and said, theres no deal here. I was told one thing about my trade in then when it came time to sign paperwork it was completely different. And I thought it was odd that when I received the vehicle the gas tank was BONE DRY. We recently purchased a used 2022 Crosstrek from Subaru San Bernardino and had a very positive experience. We were able to get in during a quiet time and were able to test drive and view multiple trims of the Crosstrek, which was super helpful in the decision making process. Gerald Tills was extremely patient with us as we navigated the purchase and negotiation process, always looking to make sure we felt well informed and taken care of.Honestly, the only star lost would be on the addendum package that - had we not haggled about it - would have driven the price up by $4K but included marginally useful add-ons like $20 door edge guards and detailing that should have been included as part of selling the car. Just make sure to ask about the current cost and whats included before test driving to save yourself time during negotiation and youll have an incredible experience with this very helpful team.

I had already picked out the 2023 Outback I wanted online, made an appointment with Jeff to test drive and purchase. Once we got there Jeff was busy and passed us off to Sam. I want to state that this experience started waaaay before the decision to buy a new car. Before I moved to San Bernardino, I had to service my Crosstrek a few times during my transition into the Inland Empire, and began building a business relationship with a few of the service members. I have been in San Bernardino for the last year and a half, and every time I would bring my Crosstrek in, these guys really made my visits worthwhile. They handled the maintenance with transparency, and always made sure I was treated fairly with the needs of the car. In my last service visit for the Crosstrek, I connected with John Borrego (sales and leasing consultant) and other sale consultants that day about the reason of my visit. I had to do repairs to the Crosstrek, and they playfully insisted about buying a new car. Although I wasnt serious then, the intentional relationship building made a huge difference to my decision later. All of these moments set me up for my visit, today, to buy my new car. I was able to set an appointment with John Borrego with ease (through text). Throughout my time on the lot and on the sales floor, I was met with kindness and care. There was careful attention to my needs and to my wants. Even though we went back and forth, five different times, I appreciated the level of respect from John Borrego and John Schinhari (assistant sales manager). I was helping my parents look for a new car (actually used). The Subaru of San Bernardino dealership was the third place we visited for used cars. By this point my parents knew what the wanted and did not want. Jr made everything clear; he even followed us all the way home (from San Bernardino to Beaumont!) to show us how to plug the car in and how to use the many, many features. We are scheduled to go back in a couple of weeks to re-learn any features we still have questions about. We had a wonderfully positive experience, thanks to Jr!
