There are not enough words to say how much I love this place. From the moment you get into the moment you leave, you are greeted with kindness. The amazing lady at the front desk goes above and beyond and is so incredibly sweet and welcoming. All of the staff is so warm and kind. And the dentist is so kind and great at what she does! I am so grateful that I found studio city dental arts. I would 11 out of 10 recommend them over and over. I have been with and without insurance over the years. Often getting different insurances depending on where I’m working. They are always so kind and willing to help me figure out my benefits and they are so transparent about pricing and options. An honest team, great service, clean facility. I could keep going, but I’m going to stop here. I think you get the point.

I cannot recommend Studio City Dental enough! Everyone was friendly, professional, and courteous. They took care of me quickly without those long, boring waiting room stays that you have to deal with elsewhere. I would give them 10 out of 5 stars if possible. Thanks again!

This was my first visit to this office and I had x-rays and a cleaning performed. The staff were all very friendly and professional and I appreciated Phyllis (my dental hygienist who performed the cleaning) attention to detail and feedback.

I got a cavity filled. It was absolutely pain-free, and super fast. It probably took 15-20 min? Once the numbing feeling wore off later in the day, I wasn’t even sore or tender. The doctor did an amazing job. They also let me listen to my AirPods while they filled the cavity so I didn’t feel anxious. Very happy with the experience!

When first entering the office for the first time, I felt as though I was a patient for many years! Since the regular Dental Hygienist was not available, I had the pleasure to have Dr. Shahrestany to be my Dental Hygienist. She is a very caring and professional in explaining answers to my many questions! Also, this office is very unique in that Dr, Shahrestany is also a Periodontist! Normally, the Periodonist service is referred out. In all, I was very impressed with staff’s personal care and professionalism. Being a teenager of 81, this is the best dentist office which I look forward to care for my teeth! Highly recommend Studio City Dental Arts!

WOW they are everything I wanted from a dental team: Transparent pricing, thorough and attentive dental work by Dr Shahrestany, and incredibly punctual. Another office was about to charge me 2x for a routine procedure, so I called around and was lucky to speak with Danielle at Studio City Dental Arts. She booked me a same day appointment and went out of her way to make sure everything checked out with insurance and ensure my visit was seamless. I was so impressed I immediately booked my partners visit here, too! Love this dental team!

I was really nervous about going to the dentist. Not because of anything bad but because of my own neglect. When I called the receptionist was very warm and friendly. Upon arrival, it was the same but even better. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was seen within 5 mins. I was out the door in 30 mins. The doctor which I can’t pronounce her name, was kind, empathetic and pleasant. You can tell she creates a clean and healthy work environment. I look forward to much work on my teeth.

Highly recommend! Very professional and skilled. I can’t recommend Studio Dental Arts more highly. Dr. Shahrestany is thorough and informative - she lets you know every step of the way what’s going on so there are no surprises. And has a very gentle way of working with your teeth that makes it easy to be in the chair. I no longer work in the area where her office is located but I love the work she does so much that I am willing to go from Santa Monica to Studio City even for afternoon appointments when traffic can be a lot. (It took me 90 min today to get home but I love going so the travel time is completely worth it!!) She is that amazing at her work. And very calming, as well. And when I needed emergency dental work during the pandemic when dental offices were about a week from opening, she showed up to help me. She knew I couldn’t wait a week so she geared up in double masks with protective wear to help me. It was only us in the office so she had to do everything. It really showed how committed she is to her work and patients. Thanks to Dr. Shahrestany and the entire team.

First let me say that I am a dental coward. My dentist of 35 years retired and I didnt know what to do so I did nothing. Then I chipped my front tooth and was forced to find another dentist. After hours of searching and investigating Dr. Shahrestany rose to the top so I took a deep breath and made an appointment. So glad I did. Everyone, from the moment I walked through the door, was kind and patient. My tooth is as good as new. I have already referred Dr. Shahrestany to a couple of friends. Danielle you are awesome. Thanks for keeping me entertained while I waited I probably would have freaked out if not for you.

Really disappointed in this place. Came last year for a dental cleaning. The assistance popped off my permanent retainer (which is fine- things happen I wasn’t mad) what I was mad about was the poor re-cement on my retainer which I later came back for to get it done a second time. Here I am a year later spending more $$$ out of pocket to go to a dentist right now to get it recemented. This place is a joke. I’d like it if they paid for my appt today since this issue is their fault. The dentist even said “oh we don’t have the right cement for that” I’ve had this retainer since I was 15. I’m 28 and never had an issue before last year.

I recently moved to the Burbank area and was recommended this office. I am very happy with this choice as this office take’s really good care of you. The receptionist answers all your insurance questions or if she doesn’t have the answers she researches it and gets back to you quickly. The assistant is very pleasant and gentle as well is the dentist. They both answer any questions you may have to help put you at ease.

Absolutely Wonderful.In the many times I have had to seek dental care, the experience was always subpar.I am happy to say that this time around, My expectations were exceeded.Scheduling / New Patient Appointments:I inquired online for an appointment on a Friday afternoon, I received a phone call within the same hour! I WAS EVEN OFFERED A SATURDAY APPOINTMENT!!Danielle advised that she wouldnt be there on Saturday and if it was ok to get me all signed up and ready to go so that not only will i have less to worry about on Saturday, but the Dentist also wouldnt have to worry about the clerical part.Within 30 minutes - i filled out the patient forms, Insurance was verified, and I was set for my appointment the following day.1st visit -I walked in and was greeted by Dr. Shahrestany, she was at the front desk, I forgot to Esign so she had me sign off on my paperwork and was seated within 5 minutes.Her Dental Assistant introduces herself and I immediately forewarn her of my anxiety. I have really really bad anxiety- shivering, crying the works!She walked and talked me through the whole process step by step. Even offered to put Vaseline on my lips prior to the procedure.I am an ice chewer with very soft teeth that grinds when Im stressed out. I had a feeling I had cracked my tooth and thats why I was in pain.Dr. S examines and did not push any services on me. She was hesitant on doing anything as she felt I would need a specialist, but to be thorough she said listened to my concerns and offered to renew my filling as she saw a crack on the tooth in front of the one in question. SHE WAS CORRECT with fixing my filling, the pain is gone.During the entire time they were working on my tooth, they kept reassuring me, the Dental Assistant wiped my tears and did what she could to console me.I can only speak for my experience, but I doubt one would have a less than excellent experience with Studio City Dental Arts!If I could, Id give 10 stars!!

Dr Shahrestany is the consummate professional - thorough, gentle, attentive, fast, and makes sure your comfort is of the utmost importance. The office is clean and tasteful and the music choices are great. :) The all female staff is equally wonderful. The office is busy but they will always do their best to accommodate your needs. Daniel was great when I called and upon arrival. On line portal for filling out forms was easy and avoided filling out paper upon arrival. The calm vibe of the office is very welcoming. Im posting this for my cousin who goes to this dentist office.Dr.Shahrestany is AMAZING, super sweet, does great work, and office is clean BUT unfortunately the woman who works her front desk, DANIELLE - IS HORRIBLE.I honestly dont know how she works customer service with the attitude I see, and hear comes from this womans mouth.She is completely night and day to Dr.Shahrestany, who is the sweetest. Im honestly dumb founded on how Dr.Shahrestany even hired her to handle her customers, the only thing I can guess is that Dr.Shahrestany is not aware of Danielles rudeness which leads me to this post.My cousin will ask Danielle a question and shell respond with such a passive aggressive attitude. My cousin always deals with some form of aggressive attitude from Danielle, and my cousin is the nicest person, they didnt even want me to write this but I just had to. If I treated customers with the same attitude as Danielle I would be fired asap from my job.I feel bad for writing this post because is doesnt reflect on how Dr.Shahrestany is, because she is awesome, its all about her front desk person, Danielle.Hopefully by writing this someone can read it and correct her horrible attitude or just hire a nicer person, one that at least looks and sounds like they like their job, and is friendly to customers.My cousin is seriously thinking about switching dentists all because they no longer want to deal with Danielle anymore, shes that rude.Hope this post gets read, and hopefully changes are made to the front desk.

Proshat is amazing. Ive been to her for a cleaning and also for a filling. Shes incredibly friendly but also very communicative, explaining each step of the procedure, letting you know what to expect. She checks to make sure that youre okay and feeling no pain. The front office staff is also very helpful and friendly, especially Glenda. You are informed up front what portion of payment you are personally responsible for, so there are no financial surprises. Dare I say, this is the best dental experience I have had in my adult life.Ive been to Dr. Shahrestany twice thus far. My first visit was for a deep cleaning, which I typically dread and find painful. Dr. Shahrestany was very sympathetic to my dislike of the procedure, offering me anesthetic and checking on me frequently during the process. It easily went better than many that Ive had. She is a very caring provider and doesnt recommend extra or unneeded work.Beyond that, the rest of the experience was stress free. The office setting is clean, neat and relaxing. The aesthetician who polished my teeth was a pleasure to be around. The front desk people are professional yet friendly. Everyone was transparent about prices and willing to show an itemized list of costs. Ive been pretty amazed at how I now actually kind of look forward to the dentist (well as long as I dont have any cavities).My last dentist pretty much seemed to find handfuls of cavities every time I went, making it obvious these were spurious claims made to make them money. Im beyond happy I dont have to deal with that here!

Dr. Shahrestany is very caring and thorough in her work and I definitely recommend her expertise to anyone seeking cosmetic dental work. If I could, I would rate this office 0 stars. On my first visit, they made two mistakes. It was so terrifying and horrible. The dentist injected the anesthesia incorrectly and my entire left side of my face was warm, my nose burned, my eye hurt, and I could barely talk after 1 fill! I was suppose to get 3 filled, but that did not happen. I almost had to go to the emergency room after my appointment. My jaw hurt for over a week. My neck started hurting and my teeth were in more pain than when I arrived. I almost passed out during the injection and couldn’t see for a few mins. I was extremely dizzy and I felt awful! The worst experience ever. This has never happened to me at any dental office before, ever. I am traumatized. Then, they proceeded to overcharged me for 1 fill! They said they would issue my money back for overpaying, but charged me yet another time and claimed they refunded me back the amount they owed me. I am extremely disappointed. I definitely will not recommend. For all of this to happen on my first appointment, makes me sad yet angry. I still experience pain. One unhappy customer.

Unlike some of my experiences with other dentists, she did not try to push any expensive treatments on me and only recommended what was needed. I was recommended to this dentist by my sister-in-law. I really hate going to the dentist because, well it hurts and I have had a lot of bad experiences with dentists since I was a kid but my sister-in-law assured me that they were really good about pain management here so I decided to give them a try back in November.The office is clean and modern and the receptionist is very nice. I met Dr. Shahrestany and she was very nice and made me feel really comfortable. So far I have had a deep teeth cleaning and some cavities filled and I have to say it all went very well. The dental assistants are really nice too and Dr. Shahrestany really made me feel at ease and addressed all my concerns. She really is good about pain management because I think this is the first time that when getting my cavities filled I did not feel a thing. That or the drugs are getting better haha. She is also fast and gets the job done. I definitely recommend her.

My experience with this place has been the best and flawless, the service is beyond wonderful and the humbleness and workers all show enthusiasm and the utmost kindness. I came here starting my Invisalign plan and the sessions were great and they always got the best work done for my teeth, and there were never any issues. I HIGHLY recommend this dentist. I have seen Dr. Shahrestanny for several years, always with good results. This past weekend, I had a horrible toothache and called the service on Sunday asking them to leave a message for the office to call me on Monday. 15 minutes later, the dentist called me and said they would make room for me Monday. Next morning, she fixed everything. Always great service and Dr. answers all your questions.

Dr. Shahrestany is by far the BEST dentist I have ever had! I have had a bad experience with my prior dentist so when I had a cavity that needed attention ASAP I was quite lucky to find her. Everyone at this dentist office is kind and patient. I went in for x rays and a cleaning. I tend to gag and they didn’t make me feel bad like other dental offices I’ve been to. Karla the hygienist is super thorough. The dentist was not pushy during her exam and I appreciated that. Months later my crown (from a previous dentist) came off. From the moment I called to explain my problem, Glenda was on my side helping me get everything in order and guiding me, which put me at ease immediately. When I was in Studio City in early March, I broke a tooth at dinner. The dentist at Studio City Dental Arts was able to see me the next morning. She was very welcoming and pleasant and very professional. She removed the broken portion and filled the tooth with a temporary filling. Well, we all know what happened in mid-March, which is when I got home. Needless to say, I wasn’t able to see my regular dentist. It’s now over 5 months later and that “temporary” filling is still holding. I am so grateful to this dentist (whose name I don’t remember now, unfortunately) for her kindness and care. Over the long Labor weekend I developed a throbbing toothache and reached out to Dr. Shahrestany. She called me right back, told me to take ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and made space in her schedule to see me the next day. After an exam it appears I need a root canal 😬 but she assured me that the endodontist referral she gave me was someone she would go to herself and recommend to family members. 😅 In the meantime till I have the procedure, I am taking an antibiotic she prescribed to clear up the infection. I use to hate going to the dentist because of my previous experiences. Not anymore. My main issue is pain as my mouth is very sensitive. I have never experienced pain with Dr. Shahrestany. I never once felt when she inserted the anesthesia. Never. She paid full attention to my needs and desires for my veneers. I had a complicated situation as I previously had Invisalign and my teeth were constantly shifting. I went in for teeth cleaning and teeth whitening. Apprehensive at first-- always I guess around dentists. Immediately, walking in felt at ease by the receptionist, and definitively after meeting the dentist, Dr. Proshat Shahrestany. She is very professional and explained the process at every step. It’s very refreshing to encounter a dentist like her.

BEWARE! Yelp removed this review because this dentist pays them! Dont get fooled by 5 star yelp reviews! SCAM!I had the most horrifying experience at this place. I went for 6 months braces which cost $4300 here.So I come to the office to install my braces and, instead of putting bonding on each tooth separately she covers my whole mouth with huge amount of bounding! Then she took the drill and started drilling excess bounding from all of my 28 teeth! FRONT AND BACK! I know that excessive drilling drills off enamel layers and, as the result, the teeth will get thinner and will start chipping off! She was too LAZY to put bounding on each tooth separately in which case she wouldnt need to use the drill at all because there wouldnt be any excess bonding. She drilled too much and the drill was already getting to my teeth because I felt pain (if she drilled just the bonding, I wouldnt feel anything)She used CHEAP bonding material because my braces were coming off almost every week for 6 months! Although I only ate soft foods. So I had to go back to reinstall them almost every week. Every time my brace came off, she had to use the drill to remove old bonding. So my poor teeth (very often same ones) were drilled every week for 6 months! And some of my teeth started chipping off. Her response to that was I dont see anything, that wasnt me. Really?! Then my top front tooth chipped off! She said that it wasnt her (again) but she can file it to make it even. After she did it my front tooth was shorter then the other one.Braces keep coming off meant more drilling to take old bonding off! Then the front tooth that she filed to make even chipped AGAIN! When I told her that she started getting very frustrated and talked to me in a high pitch tone: You tooth was like this before! I was like What? Dont you remember filing it 2 weeks ago after it chipped to make it even? Her response: No! I was like WOW. Shes supposed to use the drill only ONCE when she takes braces off! Not 36 times! My teeth got so thin because of constant drilling that I started seeing THROUGH some of them. Her usual rude and loud response was: I dont know what you are talking about! What do you want me to do?! I dont know what you want from me! I grew very uncomfortable talking to her. I got to the point that I was just sitting quietly through each visit. I couldnt eat or sleep the night before. Thats how much I hated the whole experienceSo I had 6 months payment plan to pay off $4300. Once I paid off that off she informed me that my teeth are straight and she will be taking my braces off on next visit! I was like what?! 7 of my teeth were still crooked (my husband and friends all saw it). But she didnt care. She got her $4300 and she just wanted to brush me off. She said that she can just file the top of those crooked teeth so that they look straight! What the hell?! I was like Im done! I decided to transfer to ORTHODONTIST and so I did. When ortho saw my teeth, he said: Yea I see that your teeth are still crooked. She obviously doesnt care about her patients or results of her own work. All she wants is to get your money, do her job as quickly, cheaply and easily as possible and brush you off. My new ortho didnt use any drill when he was putting new braces on. He did it the way it should be done - put a drop of bonding and brace on each tooth separately. He also said that if you place braces right (the reason why he had to put new sat of braces) you dont need to file any sides of your teeth to make room, which my dentist lady did a lot, which made my small teeth even smaller! And NONE OF MY BRACES CAME OFF NOT ONCE (its been 3 months). Everything that the dentist in studio city dental arts didnt see was seen by my ortho and are getting visibly corrected. With this transfer the total cost of my braces will end up to be $7500. I couldnt describe all the wrongs with this dentist because of the character limit
