I have two complaints. One the lack of handicap spaces. I think the owner or manger holds an obvious handicap spot. It has a faded handicap sign on the ground but if you park there they will come to your room and ask you to move your car. Not sure why a hotel of this size has one accessible parking spot.Second complaint. They treat you like a criminal upon check out. We put a deposit down and before I was able to get my money back they had to search the room to make sure nobody took those swaddling size bath towels and sheets. I had never experienced this in my life. If they would say at check in hey were gonna search your room to make sure you didnt steal.I wouldnt stay again.

The room was not clean. There was still hair from the previous tenant in the shower. The bed sheet of one of the beds had blood stains. Overall it was also very dusty. The reception was manned at the time of check-in, but we didnt meet any staff afterwards. It is a non-smoking hotel, but our bathroom as well as the hallway smelled like weed. the maids smelled the same. They probably smoke when cleaning the rooms. The area is good for getting around. A rental car is required. Not far from LAX.

Terrible experience with this place! I booked for four nights and the day of our trip I got asked to confirm my booking, I spoke with a gentlemen who rudely cut me off after i tried explaining to him that my flight had been delayed. He assured me my booking was confirmed and that my room would still be available when I landed. I landed at around 10:30pm the same night and then found out by one of their other employees that my booking had been cancelled and my room had been given to someone else. They proceeded to let me know that they couldnt accommodate me because they were fully booked all weekend due to it being a festival weekend. They later on told me they could book me for two nights only for over 300$! We had to stay at the airport until we found another alternative. Very Disappointing!

The room was dirty when we arrived, it was a disappointment, there were no personal cleaning supplies. The bathroom was literally falling into pieces. I think I would never return to this hotel.

Talk about profiling!Walked in, was asked for ID. Handed over my Military ID and was told I couldnt check in without a valid passport. I wasnt asked if I had any other ID. The reservation (made 2 weeks before) was for the first floor nonsmoking. Was told all they had left was a smoking room.The only room available was far from the elevator. The room was nice - but the nightstand lights were out. Fortunately, there was a corner lamp that we moved between us.Learned afterwards that the room is only serviced every 5 days - this includes towels.

Rooms are nicely renovated but are not cleaned properly whatsoever. We found dirt and debris that could have easily vacuum if somebody cared. Surfaces need a wipe down. Suspicious stains on the beds. And it stank!! We switched rooms but the second one was not much better. Also smelled better despite a strong weed perfume. But still dirty and just not well maintained. We left and got a refund. The guy at the reception desk was helpful and nice. Certainly not his fault. But I cannot and will not recommend this hotel. Go try the Best Western next door or the Hilton Garden Inn instead.

Rented the jacuzzi room and it was definitely a good choice. Jacuzzi was great, room was clean and spacious! Front desk lady Colleen was helpful and informative when I had questions about the local area. I would definitely book again when in town

The appearance of the room was nice but that fact that I got bit 3 times in less than an hour and roaches were crawling around the food that I had... I could not sleep there overnight and I had to throw the food away. I changed rooms at first... but then it was bugs flying around in that room. So I went back to the front desk and told the gentleman that I wouldnt be able to sleep under those conditions and requested a refund. The guy at the front desk was very polite,friendly and really tried to help me but I didnt feel comfortable or safe staying there overnight.

I love coming to location for my overnight needs. The rooms are always neat and clean and they provide excellent customer service.One person I want to shout out is Daniel who works at the front desk. The best part of our stay was the Staff. Polite,, friendly, and does their job.Rooms look somehow had been updated the last 3 years. You can still tell that they did the minimum that needs to be done. The area is somewhat safe. Starbucks across the parking lot, walking distance. Coffee service in the lobby in the AM. The renovation in the bathroom looked like a bad DIY project. Missing paint, the faucet on the sink is barely hanging on. The extra blanket we asked for smelled like it has been in the closet for a decade. The floor cleanliness was questionable. There are dogs barking at night as dogs are allowed in the building. Lots of parking outdoors and underground.I think for the price of this, you could find the same price hotel but not as sketchy as this one.The staff tries to give good service, but the true downfall comes with the hotel itself. This place looks way better in pictures posted online. This is ok for youngsters travelers in their early 20s who wants to save money. Or those that are desperate for 1 night lodging for cheap. What hotel/motel does not provide th bare minimum shampoo??We will not be back.

I want to thank Brian at the front desk and another lady for being very friendly. They answered all of my questions. Anything, I needed they handed over to me without question. The room we stayed in was great. Very clean and roomy for a family of four. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the view was nice, nothing horrible to look at. Tons of restaurants, stores, and areas to travel to around the Los Angeles area. It was quiet and peaceful and we got a good nights rest. I will be booking my stay again in the future.

From all the hotels and motels I had on my trip in the USA, this one was by far the baddest experience. At check-in at night was the person who was working not friendly at all. I cant help she have to work, and being friendly doesnt cost money. The carpet on the way to the rooms was dirty as hell. The air-conditioning was making so much noise, you have to do off for sleeping. The room itself was not nice at all. For washing, there was only a small piece of soap. No shampoo or something else at all. Ive you say something about that is the answer that they have an automat were you can buy shampoo. Sorry, but I paid 141,72$ for a room, and for that money, they may give some shampoo, in my opinion. When I checked out I complained about all these things. They asked my email address, and they would see what they could do. Almost 2 weeks later, I still didnt hear a thing. So customers are appreciated over there.

This Motel 6 Suites is awesome! My suite was super clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of towels, clean and the upgraded shower was roomy with plenty of hot water. My son, Block (ok...hes really my dog) loved chilling on the patio. I wish I could have stayed longer...but the with Taylor Swift concert...rooms where booked for the next week. I hope the next Motel 6 is this amazing.

WARNING!!! WARNING !! All the photos are not real! We arrived with my family and we were unpleasantly surprised when we saw the state of the hotel. If you are looking for a vacation, this is not the place, unless your flight has been canceled and you have to spend just one night; which is exactly what we did with my family. The pool is too small, the carpets in the halls are stained, smell, humidity, the rooms are very neglected. There is no safe box, so we couldnt keep our money and documents. The neighborhood is very quiet but I do not recommend walking at night. We only stayed one night and left. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

Not recommended! Had 11 nights booked at this hotel for a short vacation in LA. The room that I got had a bad smell like a combo of weed and cigarette. Even though it was a non smoking room. There was red stains on the side of the bed and even some white mold. I left and found another hotel. And Im glad I did so.

Can not complain for the price and accommodational service! Wife and I booked a room late night here when everyone else was asking to wait until 6 am. And we were not let down or disappointed with what we got last minute.Rooms are very nice and can be compared to a nights stay at a hotel at the LAX but probably a bit more convenient with the free parking compared to high parking rates. Don’t expect to bask in quality finish work and or satisfying craftsmanship when it comes to detail. But hey, you’re getting a better deal for your money that a lot of big hotels in the area!

Room wasn’t ready when we checked in at 4:30. at Man at the front desk said maybe 5:30. Bed was hard and squeaky (like sleeping on a box spring.) pillows were small and flat. bathroom had black mould above the shower. Didn’t look like the room had been vacuumed at all. crumbs under the tv. overall would not stay there again.

This hotel was absolutely exceptional, above and beyond the super affordable price point. The security in the parking lot and the card scanning to operate the elevator made me feel extremely safe, the room was extremely clean, and every staff interaction was so pleasant. Perfect spot for events at the forum, easily accessible to the airport, and super close to an In-N-Out/Venice/Santa Monica/Manhattan Beach/Hermosa. 11/10, will be back!

My mom booked this place because it accepted animals and our apartment in nearby north Torrance was getting tented for a day.We have 3 cats, who instantly hid under the beds that had dust balls the size of large beetles.My son went to take a bath but there was actual feces on the outside of the shower curtain..so that was out.2 queen beds..3 of us, we rock, paper, scissored it, and of course me and one son shared a dirty stained bed.The hallway smells of piss and was honestly THE WORST motel I have ever had to stay at in my 40 years of living on this earth..would have rather tented it on Hawthorne blvd!Gross! Disgusting, dont waste your money, find a better place!Plus, their WIFI is unsecured, so when I ordered food there, the next day, my card was hacked and luckily they overshot how much I had in my account so they got NOTHING!DONT STAY HERE!

We booked this hotel and when we got in late at the airport we phoned for shuttle and found out there advertising is false NO SHUTTLE $30 taxi ride. I had a wonderful stay here at Studio6. Brian checked me in and made sure I was comfortable w/ my room. Plenty of towels, big screen tv, microwave + fridge available. 2days later, there were noisy ppl in the next room w/ their tv + music on soo loud all night for the next 3days. It was terrible. I couldnt get any sleep. And I just came out of surgery, wanting some good rest + relaxation. I alerted the staff. And Colleen at the front was very accommodating + understanding. (I think that was her name, she worked the late shift, this was at 230a.) She placed me in a better room far away from the noise. Thank you Colleen. She was super sweet + soo nice. Great customer service.My stay was excellent. Nice + super quiet, very comfortable bed + amenities, and affordable.Thank you so much to the Staff at Studio6 for a wonderful stay. I enjoyed my stay here! Prime location only like 10-15 from LAX! It’s literally right next door to Starbucks if you like that! My room was clean(I always do added cleaning even after but that’s me), it had great ventilation, microwave, cold refrigerator, iron/ironing board! It’s a great hotel! Decent rooms for a 2-star hotel, but really bad service. Theyre out of stock on everything - shampoo, conditioners, even coffee glasses. When we entered the room, there was a bar of soap, but no shampoos, no conditioners. We called the reception, they said Sorry, were out of stock. If you have any concerns please talk to management, and disconnected the call. Same thing happened when we tried to make coffee in the morning and realized there were no glasses.Our stay was 2 days long, between the days, there was no room service, beds not done, towels not changed. We called reception, and they said, yeah theres no room service right now (seriously??). If you want extra towels, you can come to the reception to get it.The only plus point is that the rooms feel safe, and they have free parking in the garage. Other than that, I wouldnt want to spend my money on this hotel on any future visit.

Clean, nice rooms price was good however I was a little put off by the additional refundable hundred dollar deposit and $10 parking fee for a second car but not a big deal. Surrounding hotels were $160-$200 a night. Studio suites by Motel 6 was $90 a night including refrigerator microwave in a very nice and clean room nice staff in a very well located area.

This was a great location for food in either direction, right on the bus line and close to Manhattan Beach.Starbucks right in front, or smaller more local businesses down the road.The pool was perfect for just the two of us, just catch it at the right time which was early morning.We had a balcony which was nice for coffee, or just watching the sunset. It’s perfect for a week long stay, microwave to reheat things, coffee maker and mini fridge.Downsides, the water pressure is low and the shower curtain was too high which allowed a lot of water to leak on the floor. Beds were loud, you can definitely hear your neighbors.Staff was friendly and it was great place to relax after a long day.

Sadly this place did not meet expectations even though they were low to begin with. They do not offer breakfast despite it being advertised they dont clean rooms until 5th day of stay, and even though you report a dirty room or request extra things like towels or pillows you have to ask multiple times only to not recieve them. We only needed a room for overnight: the ladies at front desk were nice. They didnt have any rooms with just a king size like we wanted so was given an upgrade to a suite. There was a $50 deposit charged to card and was told it would be applied back to my card. Room was nice. It was clean, sheets clean. No complaint except I wouldnt keep ice bucket in the bathroom and there wasnt a liner for the bucket,no bag for it so we didnt use it. Hallways were cleaned carpet, a little vacuum needed but otherwise cleaned carpet. Parking was free, that was cool. Thats about the only bad thing is parking is not big, not many stalls available. Dont know why its considered a suite tho. But all in all, it was good; Id stay there again

The rooms were large, and the showers were very good, however, the pillows were a bit on the firmer side, and there were no laundry facilities for guests. The breakfast also was not great. They did offer microwaves for the rooms but no forks or spoons. The shuttle to the airport is no longer running as well .. quite disappointed. Recommend the Best western down the road

Stayed here recently for a business trip. check-in was dreadful i had just drove 6 hours and wanted to crash in bed, but jessica really was taking her sweet time. she took about 30ish minutes and it really didnt help that she was being extremely rude the entire time. Front desk staff were friendly. The room left a lot to be desired. Smelled horrible of cigarettes. Not really clean. There was some sort of reddish brown splatter on one wall. The nightstand had drip marks down the front with the same substance. Our room was located behind a door into the hallway of the next building. People would trap that door open and block us in. It was annoying.

I booked a weekend trip that turned out to be a one night stay due to staff brain canceling my reservation and not re-booking properly. I booked a weekend trip through a third party and received a great deal however Brian at studio 6 canceled my reservation and then only re booked my reservation/stay for one night assuming I only needed a one night stay. This was very unfair and unprofessional. Its only fair if you cancel a reservation to re book it the same way you saw it before canceling especially after speaking with the guest via phone and walking through itinerary.Then I was told I would have to pay full price to try and stay an extra day or bring in the online itinerary before they could match my price found online. 1 hour later after being told about the error I get the mist rudest call ever in which the girl rep impliedto Brianthat I was refusingto Pau and refusingto leave. This was so untrue i was simply trying ro understand how and why the error was made and why it took so much time notify me.The staff didnt even notify me about this stay/room error upon arrival or during my check in. It wasnt until the next day at 1pm that someone called me to ask me why my things were left behind and that I would need to check out or pay for another day. Mind you I checked in at 8pm night before. They took my deposit due to their mistake and no one ever tried to accommodate me for the weekend. Poor customer, poor communication, and fraud when it comes to the stay at this place. I was called mins after online booking to pay by phone and give credit card info over the phone. My booking online/reservation stated that I could pay upon arrival in print and no fees would be charged until I arrived to check in. No other locationss/hotels has ever done this to me. If you reserve and click pay at location thats exactly what you do! Pay upon arrival on a first come first serve basis. Studio 6 did not abide by this ruleand legally should not be calling asking to run your card on a pay at facility option. This is a scam and they are all about the money and filling the facility no matter the cost. They hardly have time to clean up and prep for guest but they dont care. Very rude and impolite staff with a great deal of sarcasm when it came to handing my concerns. Brain was very rude and practically put me out without hesitation. Book at your own risk!! Beware of scam they will take your deposit for nothing. They took my deposit upon their mistake! Half clean rooms, no towels, shampoo or soap. I had to go out and buy my own. I will not visit here again just because of the treatment from staff. Its important to know how to give good customer service and provide a good experience. This was the worst experience ever.

Remodel looked rush. Bee issues. First roomed reeked of marijuana like someone had just smoked in it and then had to switch. Thrown off because as I went back into the office they were giving my previous, smelly room to someone else no more than five minutes later and not enough time to air anything out. New room smelled clean. Honestly the elevators are a pain and the breakfast was mediocre at best. The beds were pretty stiff and the furniture was outdated. Could have used some decorations inside the room as it felt empty. The nightstand was missing its handle. Hard to find outlets. However, second room did seem clean and the front office staff was accommodating and friendly.

Being a Hard working Trucker and a Broken down Rig for several days whilst Rig was at dealership..Found this Studio 6 a little bit away from the Dealership but a lot more cleaner than the one near the Dealership..So Wife and I decided actually old SayingHappy WifeHappy life.Yes would be great if Bagels 🥯 or maybe Donuts were available but Being a OTR TRUCKER & yes 48 states and Canada and at times take away from the Truck sleeper and yes most of the time Motel 6 or Studio 6 the Chain as well as a couple of others definitely dont offer Breakfast so if you inclined to want Brekkie lol lmao 😀 you better prepare for higher level and yep $$$Front Desk staff and all the cleaners Great and very polite I guess manager 👍 thumbs up to you allNow lol lmao 🤣 maybe a better Discount for CDL DriversBut for location good price..Sour point is okHotdog 🌭 places just need accommodation well old saying been there and uuuuuuummm Well ok..Been but will not be back till they learn how to check if Hotdog is actually cooked

The staff is nice, but the hotel itself is nasty. The first room we were put in (both are non smoking) had a bathroom that reeked of cigarettes and the toilet wouldnt flush. The second room the mirror is dirty the fridge is dirty and has a few dead fruitflies in it and front desk doesnt have keys to get cleaning supplies at night because maintenance isnt here. The staff are very kind but it doesnt make up for how gross the rooms are. There is also limescale and mildew on the wall of the bathrooms. I couldnt even shower here because of how gross this is. Please dont stay here. It is a waste of money and time.

First time staying at this hotel..we were traveling from Arkansas..stayed here three nights two days... myself,wife and two kids(toddler.) Good customer service,clean rooms,did get our refund as we were told, security guard watching over the parking lot was polite and did his job...we couldnt stay for breakfast...we were surprised that this was such a good hotel to stay at since we had heard negative reviews about the neighborhood...but there are other hotels next to it so it seems like a clean area....enough parking..we would come night time..felt safe throughout our stay..there is a Starbucks right next to it...like literally....Shouts outs to the girl that helped us register ..she had a family situation but made sure we were taken care of...we will keep praying for her and family..I recommend you take your own blankets though...the beds were super stiff so you can use your blanket and make it more cozy...other than that..good job suite 6😝👏👍

DO NOT STAY HERE! The hallways are very dirty, it looks like they havent been vacuumed in weeks. I payed for a non-smoking room but what I received was a room that smelled like cigarettes. The whole floor was designated for non-smoking. The rooms walls are very thin and adjoined to another room by a inside door where YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING, like a full grown dog scratching the wall or the barking at 12 in the morning. I asked the front desk for another room and was told they need approval for the Manger who would be back Wednesday.Stay at your own risk!!

Wanted to book a hotel with a pool and came across the Baymount Lawndale. The photos looked nice and the pool area looked very clean and welcoming. I didnt see any recent reviews just a few reviews that mentioned shelter and didnt think much of it. When I got to the hotel it was day and night. The photos online looked nothing like the actual property. The hotel looked tired and outdated. Weird smell in the hallways and either puke or feces in the walk way to my room. The room was the worst part...paint peeling and chipping all over, weird stains on everything, cigarette burns on all the furniture, and the bathroom was very sticky. The scariest part was the black mold\mildew on the wall above my window. I paid $140 for a dump of a room. Only good thing about this place was the Starbucks coffee literally next door. ALSO, I found out from the lady that the hotel was a legit homeless shelter for over a year and housed people from the street during COVID. They just shut down a few days before I rented a room. All in all, dont stay here unless you want to pay $130 - $150 for a homeless room.

Booked it for 3 days and I enjoyed it. It was quiet most of the time, staff was friendly and not to mention their breakfast every morning! Room service was provided every day. Beds were comfortable, cable comes with room too! Pool was small but great with warm water. If you dont like the pool, we are near the California beaches. If youre ever in the LA area, this is one of the good and affordable places. Only thing that made me uncomfortable was seeing one or two homeless people in the area.If you love Starbucks, youre in for a treat since it is right across your room if you stay at Baymont Inn.

Fairly clean and good quality hotel. Our room had two Queen beds and a pull out couch and fairly large. There was a mini fridge, microwave and sink. The bathrooms were nice and looked renovated. The faucets were fancy. The staff was nice. They gave us extra towels after our swim in the tiny pool. Its a perfect size for kids though because it only goes up to 4 feet. And be sure to swim before the afternoon if its a cool day. We went around four and by that time, the pool was shaded by the shadow of the hotel and was really cold. Free breakfast is from 6:30-9:30 and is pretty simple (cereal, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs and waffles). My kids loved the TV (they had DirecTV and a lot of different channels). And the WiFi is reliable. A lot of underground parking, perfect for keeping your cars cool on hot days.

The website states there is a complimentary airport shuttle. When my partner called to arrange this, we were told the website was wrong and they discontinued that service in March. It was late, so we just took a Lyft ride there (ride to the hotel and back to the airport cost approx $40). The staff at the hotel were really nice and were able to offer a $30 refund. They were not allowed to do anymore.The room was clean, but the bed was uncomfortable. It had a lump in the middle. The privacy curtains could not close all the way. The screen door could not open and closet door could not shut completely.

The courteous staff cannot quite overcome the fact that the property is in need of attention and general upkeep. Airport transportation is regularly unavailable, though they have been known to reimburse guests for alternate transportation when theyve been left stranded at LAX. The room I was in, though it may have recently been designated as non smoking, was without doubt one in which many cigarettes had been enjoyed at some point in the (probably recent) past. There is a (very small) lobby space, breakfast area and pool available for guests to escape the starkly furnished accommodations.

Location was perfect in terms of LAX/our car rental. The hotel itself is in a not-so nice area, but you drive 10 minutes out and youre near the beach and great restaurants. The location for the purpose of going to LAX for an early flight was ok. I asked for non smoking and room was OK, but the hallways smelled like an ashtray. The beds were not comfortable and the bedding smelled weird. The price for the type of hotel was a little steep. Couldve stayed at the Hilton or Marriott for $40-50 more. Next time this will be one of the last resort hotels. I have have seen way worse hotels, but for anything over $150/night I personally expect better. This room was worth $110/night tops. I paid a grand total of $215/night for a suite and it was not even really a suite. 2 queens, small sofa, and desk in a tiny cramped room. I have had better for less in a super cheap hotel/ motel.

Baymont Inn & Suites has a park and fly program, (like many hotels around airports do ). You can leave your car there free, for a week. After that its $7 a day.Its an old Motel, but room decor is updated. We stayed there the day before our trip and that room was fine. But, on our return we were give room 419. That rooms carpet was filthy, terribly stained. And, the dust ruffle on the bed had many dirty spots on it. Also the person before us had taken the lamp (which has an oulet on it) off the desk, and switched it with the bedside lamp. The bedside lamps match each other, and while the desk lamp compliments the bedside lamps its very different. We switched them back, but felt the cleaning staff should have noticed and fixed it. Theres a reason the desk lamp has an outlet on it. The desk is where you use and charge your electronics

Our initial arrival was as poor. I asked the front desk clerk if a room might be available early and her reply that was all rooms are ready at 3:00 pm. The MAIN reason for the repeated stay is the impressive service I receive each and every time I visit.Depending on the room (single/suites) the amenities are slightly different. I have stayed at single rooms (Queen or King Bed, Flat Screen TV, Coffee Maker, Microwave, Refrigerator, Chairs, Closet, Shower/Bathroom and Plugs with USB Ports (a MAJOR plus!). Suites have all of those amenities plus a Double Queen bed and a sofa that pulls out to a twin-size bed.Lawndale/Hawthorne area has their share of strange and shady people around, day or night. One thing I appreciate about this location is that there is a security guard that roams the property throughout the night. Rooms also have security measures such as a privacy door latch that stops it from opening from outside.--------------------------------------------------LOCATION. Studio6 Suites is on the corner of Hawthorne Blvd and W.149th Street in Lawndale. It is right next to a Starbucks (they close at 8PM interior but drive-thru is open until 10PM). Disappointed by this location. I was expecting it to be much nicer, because I was familiar with one of the other Baymont locations.One of the elevators was not working at all. Once we realized it was out of service, we could not get the door to open and were stuck inside! Fortunately this was just for a few minutes. We hit the red button and the door finally opened. The other elevator was working, but we still had some issues. We placed the room key in the slot inside the elevator, but for some reason it would not stop at our floor. What a hassle all of this was!Our room was clean, but definitely did not have the luxurious look and feel that we experienced at a different Baymont Hotel.There was no ice bucket in the room. When we got to the front desk, we were told that they were out of them! The weekend of December 2nd went to this hotel bringing a service dog with me, so I called the hotel a week before to make sure I could bring a dog they said as long as I will bring a letter with me which I did, then my surprise was that this hotel doesnt take pets!! So at 9:00pm driving from Sonoma, CA for almost 8 hours and having an 80 old person in the car that was very bad and on top of that they charge a day without staying. Arrived Friday, walked into our room and it had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, called the front desk. They had 3 employees come to our room and they said they smell nothing. It was obvious they were used to the smell. I requested to be moved but they would charge me 30.00 to be moved. The 2nd night the entire hallway was filled with smoke from people smoking weed. You can smell it in the room and even on our clothes now. The font desk did nothing about it again. Talked to other guest and they all had the same compliant with no results. Arrived 7.30pm, check in straight forward and motel situated app 4.5 miles from LAX. First impressions were it was a little dingy looking. Reception very basic but functional. Received key and arrived at room (note to get to rooms is via elevator which need a valid room key to operate it ) . Opened door to room and was met first with obnoxious smell Followed by viewing a carpet that looked discusting. Immediately phoned reception and Maria apologised and offered alternative room. This one was much better, carpet still badly stained but no bad smell, bed was beautifully made up with lovely clean sheets and very comfy pillows, bathroom big and airy, Nice and clean but again let down by broken shower putting out a trickle of water. This time I just decided to stay put after haven been flying for 14 hours. Noise to front of hotel from 5.30 am onwards as there is a deli just outside, breakfast was in a very very small room with disposable forks, knives and plates, it was adaquat. Loads of shopping locally all within a 1 mile radius, would i recommend? Total cost $140 for 2 sharing so that is a personal opinion, if the first room had not been so discusting then this was worth 6 out of 10 but due to the above it gets a 3 out of 10 from me. I feel the main problem is the lack of attention to the carpets which I suspect are getting cleaned by a splash and dash type business for a very cheap price, hence the carpets are over wet and stains not removed means they will look worse when cleaned and smell bad. The second room had a beautiful clean comfortable bed which went a long way to make up, there is also a fridge and microwave in the room

The dirtiness is obvious, as you can see in the pics, so its not difficult to miss if someone was actually trying to clean the room. When I got to my room after I checked in, the first thing that greeted me was the dirtiness outside my door. I went in to find more dirtiness. It was late and I was tired so I didnt even bother to go complaint. At least the bed looked clean so I went to sleep. This morning, while Im sitting on the bed watching tv, the door flew open. Then, it just sat wide open for a long while before the housekeeper looked in at me then closed it. I could have been naked in there! She didnt even knock! The bathroom is right next to the door so I literally could have been fresh out the shower naked! Then, she came back later. At least this time she knocked before opening the door. She didnt wait for a response though. She said some stuff in Spanish and I responded in English to say I didnt understand but it was clear she couldnt understand me either. She said some more stuff in Spanish and pointed around the room so I assumed she was asking if she could clean. I said yes and she went to get some stuff then came back in. She changed the sheets of the bed I wasnt using, even if it wasnt used, then wiped the unused table and cleaned the bathroom. Im glad she cleaned the bathroom and sprayed some stuff in there since my non smoking bathroom smelled like smoke. The floor is still gross, which is what actually needed cleaning. The t.v. remote partially works. You can use it to change the channel but if you need to turn it off or control the volume, you have to do that on the tv itself. While the housekeeper was cleaning my room with the door wide open, another guest came by to tell her the microwave in her room isnt working. I havent used mines but it looks like it works. I didnt give 1 star because the beds are clean, the breakfast was okay and the front desk guy who checked me in was friendly.

I love that they change the shower curtain between guests! Parking is semi secure with security cams and fences, rooms and elevator are activated by room keys, so it is tricky to get out of the garage if your key demagnetises. Elevator is a strangest thing I have ever seen - you need to use your room key to go to any floor, but if someone enters on a different floor while you are going up or down, then elevators forgets everything (any previously pressed buttons) and requires to use your key again and press whatever button you pressed before.

The Baymont Inn & Suites at LAX Lawndale is a decent place to stay for an overnight stay when youre flying out of LAX. There was a misunderstanding about the parking and shuttle from this Motel. The shuttle service only runs from 6 a.m. till 9 p.m. However my departure time was 6 a.m. which made the shuttle service invaluable to me.
