Ben Strock and his team greatly exceeded our expectations. We had a big, multigenerational fixer upper that we partially remodeled. If we had just put the house on the market as is, it would have sold at a substantial discount. Luckily, we found out about Strock’s program where they will help you remodel your house to sell. The Strock team helped us with a jaw-dropping transformation of the house and yard, with many improvements that added a lot of value to the house.The entire process we went through was amazing. Their design consultant, Corrine McKendrick, was invaluable in tying together two radically different styles of house (an old cottage style original house and a mountain modern remodeled part). She was able to work miracles on a pretty limited budget for a huge house that still needed a lot of work. They helped clear and landscape the yard to get it looking sunny and open. They also helped remodel a master bath, added a new deck, and did a myriad of other improvements.Our realtors Ben Strock and Sarah Thorp helped to greatly increased the value of our home with improvements in a cost-effective manner, and also helped extensively with project management. They made many visits to the house and kept in constant contact with us to keep on schedule and on budget, and to modify plans as needed. The entire process was really professional, positive, and supportive. The Strock team is truly outstanding and wonderful to work with.

The process of “strockifying” the property, which included a complete revamp of the yard and walkway, new bathrooms, floors and paint completely transformed the house. Not only did we recoup the costs of the upgrades, but the house was move in ready which helped it to sell in less than a week. I work in the trades and I can honestly say, Strock can do the improvements for cheaper than it would have cost me to do on my own. Strock is highly professional in their approach and the entire team is friendly and easy to work with. They handled and paid for all the inspections and staging and the disclosures were thorough. When we were first looking for our home in Aptos seven years ago, we were looking at different properties. Some were Ben’s listings, and when he saw that, he contacted us back to see if there was anything he could do to help. No one else has ever done something like that. Because of that, we never used any other realtor to look, nor will we ever in the future. Because we were out of town buyers, I would look online and see a house we might be interested in and ask Ben if he would go by to look at it. He would then videotape it for me or FaceTime if I was interested. Unlike most realtors, Ben would always tell us when there were problems with a particular house. We finally found our home, and it was a difficult sell, but we were so grateful for his patience and him taking all the time he did with us.I can’t recommend Ben more. He does wonderful things for the community, and I am so grateful we can now call him a good friend.

We recently worked with the Strock Team to sell our home and we were just so impressed with the innovative work they’re doing to facilitate selling homes and help the sellers improve curbside appeal for a faster sale which benefits everyone!Weve been in the Seacliff area for 13 years and I remember meeting Ben Strock at an open house 8 years ago. I was impressed that he already knew me from walking my black shepherd around the neighborhood. I was so impressed that I knew that if we were to ever sell, we would go with your group, not just because of that, but also because I could tell his business was a top-notch forward thinking group with THE best marketing team which is CRITICAL to real estate.When we finally decided to sell with Strock Team this year, we were continually impressed by the business strategy that weve not seen by any other real estate group. The idea that Strock would fund updates to the house and had in-house designers and contract coordinators was already ground-breaking and so refreshing. Theres no way we would ve been able to make the number of curbside appeal improvements needed without going into credit card debt. We worked with Rose Wood on the recent purchase of our home in the lower westside neighborhood of Santa Cruz. For those of you in the Santa Cruz housing market, you know that supply is limited and much patience is required. She stuck with us for 1.5 years of house hunting, multiple offers, and much learning as new home buyers. Throughout it all, Rose treated us with the utmost care, patience, and support. She was trustworthy, transparent, thoughtful, highly skilled, deeply knowledgable, and the perfect fit for us. We always felt that Rose had our best interests at heart and was an amazing advocate and teammate throughout. As first time home buyers, Rose would answer every question we had, no matter how big or small. She is incredibly good with people and also incredibly smart and gifted at her job. Being a first time buyer is scary. You hear all the horror stories from friends and family about the pain and stress involved in finding a home and then going through the loan process, but we seriously lucked out with Daniel Fitch. Talk about someone who really works for you and does whatever it takes to find you the right home without pressure or wasting your time. We knew a year in advance that we would be relocating to Monterey County (Salinas area) and met Daniel at an open house. While we had previously spoken with a realtor, that person was not motivated to work with us as it was not going to be profitable in the near future for her. Daniel continued to keep in touch and check in from time to time and once we were ready, he went straight to work. When we first starting thinking about putting our house on the market we interviewed five of the top rated realtors in town. After meeting with Ben and his team we were won over by their professionalism, knowledge, experience, and strategy. During the six months leading up to actually putting our house up on the market, the Stock Team was integral to understanding the best repairs and updates to invest in to gain the most attention from the right buyers. When we updated our tired old 1950’s kitchen they not only referred some of the best contractors we’ve worked with they took on all of the design work and project management including picking out paint colors, purchasing fixtures, scheduling, estimating, budget tracking and they even paid all of the costs upfront so we didn’t have to come out of pocket. As a construction manager myself I was so shocked when I first heard this was a service they provided. Yes, shes honest and straightforward. And she is not aggressive at all. And its clear that shes not just out to make a sale; rather she wants the buyer and the seller to be happy. Ben and his team were amazing to work with throughout the home selling process. Our home needed updates before going on the market and we needed to head out of state before we listed it. Ben and his team handled all of the renovations with their contractor partners and design partners. We were able to move out of our home and let them take care of the rest...that was so appreciated. Before choosing Strock Real Estate, we went to several open houses in the area. The open houses that Bens team hosted were so much more professional when compared with his competitors. His team introduced themselves, shook our hands and looked us in the eyes. No one knew that we were looking to sell in the coming months. When we went to other open houses (non-Strock), we were barely acknowledged. Why would anyone use anyone besides Bens team?We had a home in a nice area, in perfect vintage condition - aka it hadnt been updated for years; it was frozen in time. We had a fairly unusual situation since the beach home we were selling was used primarily as a rental. It was rented all June and July without a single unoccupied day. The house is flipped each Saturday during the summer with guests departing in the morning and arriving guests coming in that afternoon.
