Fantastic restaurant with Italian flare but a variety of options on the menu. They have an impressive Italian inspired seafood selection, but also some grilled items with veggies and potatoes. Great server and great atmosphere. Highly recommend

The lasagna was good, but I had better. The salad 🥗 was delicious. However, I was also disappointed that the establishment had no booths to seat us at. Nonetheless, I would continue to patronize this restaurant.

My wife and I went there on a Monday about 3 weeks ago. We both ordered lasagna. It took longer than normal for our food to be served. During our wait, the waiter came over several times to apologize and see if we needed anything. When the food came at last, it was delicious. When we got the check, they had comped us one of the meals. We didnt have to ask or even complain. That was a very thoughtful and kind gesture on their part.

The atmosphere was fine, the service was slow. We arrived and asked for 2 waters and for some reason it took about 10 minutes to receive them. We gave our full order including bruschetta and about another 10 minutes we received the appetizer. About 20 minutes later we received our salad and soup. Both were good. My wifes entree was good, but my my seafood fettucini ($33) was not. The alfredo sauce was like water and the noodles undercooked. We had a tough time getting the attention of our waitress - had to ask for refills on our water and when she came, she started to walk away when we pointed out our soup and salad dishes were done and she could take them. She may have been in experienced --- but due to the food and the service, it will be a while before I go back.

Great food and service. Love the desserts too. Charles was very nice and attentive.Another great experience the chicken parm and Lasagna are my favorite.Even with a party of 35 they were attentive. I cant get enough Lasagna and really like the clam chowder. It is thick, creamy and has chunks of potato.3/1 Amazing service again. Props the waiter (Engineer) Great experience. Forgot how much I really like the Chicken pesto and pine nut dish.

On a Saturday afternoon, the place was not crowded at all. The server was very pleasant and patient with our special dietary preferences. And the Chef looked pretty poised and in control. All our dishes tasted well, we ordered Pork Chop, Cajun Fettuccine and Cajun Risotto. The appetizer was tomato bisque, one of the best I have tried. Loved the food and the service. But again it was not a busy time.

I had the smoked pork chops and my wife the salmon.The service was very good 👍.The pork chops were on the salty side, but mixed with the mashed potatoes it tasted better. The sourdough bread was fresh and soft.Salmon was just okay, according to my wife and she was a fan of the vegetables.

Chicken parmesan .. felt like the chicken was old precooked, cooked again or reheated with breading extremely dry(pic), tasted okay but clearly tasted little stale. Same with the pasta(pic), tasted okay but very sad looking pasta felt like someone was trying to create something not sure of end result.

Salmon risotto was a little bland, but with salt & pepper was very good.A little disappointed with the tiramisu. I couldnt taste the brandy or cinnamon. The chocolate overwhelmed the entire dessert. It was good but I want to enjoy the layers of flavor in my favorite dessert.

Sunday morning and not crowded inside although the patio was pretty full. Extremely distracted, nonchalant service left us constantly having to flag someone down for simple things like drink refills, sweetener for the tea, butter for the waffle, and all of those little things that add up to a semi-annoying experience overall. I have been here before and had better food but this time the service had an impact on that as well because the waffle was completely cold since it sat in the window so long and the salad was completely soggy with dressing.

Beware of their Rigatoni Bolognese. It is not a hearty red meat sauce. It is a creamy parmesan sauce (more like a vodka sauce than a marinara) with grains of meat sprinkled sparingly through the pasta. We ordered from Catering for a party thinking this would be the main course. It was more like a side dish.We asked for their description to be changed or add a photo to menu to help when ordering.We enjoy their restaurant and will return but will make a different choice for our catering needs.

The historic restaurant has a great view of downtown Livermore. The food was prepared quickly and with excellent presentation. The front of the house service was a little slow for my taste though servers were very nice and helpful when they did come around. Nonetheless, Strizzis is a very nice place to relax and dine.

Almost everything we ordered tasted amazing. The appetizers and salads were very good the sauces on the food were on point the only negative is that the chicken was so dry I could not finish it, and the staff either didnt notice or refuse to acknowledge that there was a problem with it because they never once asked. In their defense, that is probably how they are trained to ask if you would like your food to go or only ask things that would affirm a positive response rather than the negative. Either way no one asked why the entree was barely touched.Hopefully it was a one off and will be better next time everything else was good and would bring us back

Friendly staff, delicious food, but not the restaurant to go during the summer as they do not turn on the AC. This major inconvenience made it very uncomfortable to enjoy a meal or drink with friends. Please reconsider turning on the AC during a 95-100 degree heat wave. Thanks.

Stopped here for date night on a Saturday evening. We had to wait maybe 10 mins and the staff was so apologetic for a long short wait. The staff was so busy yet they were so attentive. The service throughout dinner was fantastic. Now honestly the food was average, i had the house special which was a jalapeno ravioli. The pasta dish honestly felt like it was straight out of a can with canned chese sauce. While the food was good it was nothing to rave about. Overall food was avg but the service was great!

The food had absolutely no flavor! I’ve no idea what happened with the restaurant, the food used to be good, but now it’s just gone downhill. I, alongside 3 other people, ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it had no flavor and was extremely watery. A good pasta is creamy but the pasta served tasted like the sauce was mostly water. The chicken also had no flavor and was rubbery and soggy. The waiters were very nice, but the food was just not good! We left with full plates and empty stomachs. To summarize: overpriced and no flavor.

As downtown regulars in Livermore, weve dined here about 8 times. So I always dislike rating any establishment on just one experience, but weve had two instances where our service was less than ideal. But 6 out of 8 is pretty good. For what its worth, I dont see that particular server there anymore. The food is just delicious, please go with an appetite because the portions are generous. We took the whole family (5 of us) and shared 3 meals. The kids played in the little green space as we dined outside. Youll enjoy sitting outside. Dinner is quite a bit pricier than lunch so bang for the buck is definitely lunch. Enjoy!

Great food and atmosphere. It was a Monday night so lots of places to sit. With outdoor dining we were able to sit on the side of the building next to the colorful mural and lights on railing as well as lights on the umbrellas. It made a great atmosphere with the glow and colors. Food came out quick and our server Juan made a great recommendation for wine. He had a great attitude and good jokes and made sure we were taken care of, definitely made a good evening great. Would absolutely come back here again.

I had a fantastic time having lunch at Strizzis restaurant in Livermore, I ordered the flat iron steak was very pleased to receive a juicy and tasty steak. The portion mashed potatoes was a little bit small, but everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned.We had an excellent server, who helped us pick what we wanted to eat and was very prompt and fast.Would recommend to anyone! Terrible service. Server brought drinks without any ice. He asked if we wanted bread and then came back to the table saying manager said we can’t have any bread. We had a 4 year old and 2 year old with us. We waited for over an hour for food and when asked what was going on we were told they only had one cook. We were the only table with patrons. Great atmosphere, great location, and poor front service. Tables were constantly looking around, trying to get attention, as wait staff was collectively chatting behind the counter. Omission in my order was responded as me being told my observation was incorrect, and they wouldnt check my plate to determine if I was correct. Sometime later the kitchen staff told the manager that I was correct and I was quickly brought another dish (must have good kitchen staff). Was compd the drip coffee and the manager then blamed the kitchen staff and didnt apologize for not checking. Soup spoons were tea spoons for some reason.

The first time my husband and I went the service was very good. We went again on Sunday and our waitress( tall blonde middle-aged) was less than interested in waiting on us. She wasnt rude just seemed like she simply didnt want to wait on us. We ordered ice tea and waited for quite some time and I saw her just standing behind the counter. I said excuse me but is there any way we could get our ice tea now? She doesnt say anything just turns around and picks up a tray with ice tea just sitting there. The whole experience was just more of the same. We frequently go to the one in Pleasanton that has very good food/service. I ate here recently, and was very disappointed. The service fine, but the menu was terrible, and the food was not worth the cost. All of the pasta dishes were basically the same, with slight variations, and were all around $20. The meal started with a large piece of sliced bread which seemed to come from a grocery store, didnt even pretend to be authentic Italian bread. Then, when our meals came, I had to ask for the chicken to be added to my Cajun chicken pasta. The only reason I gave it a star was our waiter, who was very friendly and attentive.

The worst service weve ever had.. My husband is on crutches and put them underneath the table so they wouldnt be in anybodys way. The waitress tripped over the chair on the other end of the table, and then blamed the crutches for getting in her way. She brought the drinks and slammed them on the table, some of which were wrong. Again, that was totally our fault according to her. She brought us someone elses order, and after we had taken a bite, she took it back.. umm ew. Then she kept reaching right in front of our faces to serve our dishes. Her armpits were nearly an inch away from our face. She kept spilling stuff on us and the table. After all of that we noticed the manager was rudely reprimanding the servers one by one, and ordering them around. It was obvious that he was rude and micromanaging the entire staff. Not really sure whether our waitress was just a terrible server or that the manager had her so shaken up she could barely do her job. Also the place was colder than the weather outside, which was 50 degrees. The guests were in zipped up coats and sweaters. The manager acted as if we were nuts, and condescendingly told us he would do his best to warm it up. Just a super weird experience.

Visited on Mothers Day, what seemed to be the busiest day of the year. Not a good first impression. Got drinks first, ordered a mimosa that had more alcohol and just a hint of orange juice. 10 minutes later, got bread. Despite ordering food at the same time as drinks, it seemed like it took nearly an hour before we finally got our meal. Brunch menu wasnt that impressive, and my daughter received her bacon slices 5 to 10 minutes before her waffle. The food was okay. Overall, not a great first impression.

I would recommend heating up the bread and asking if your customers want bacon on their house salad instead of just adding it. The fettuccini Alfredo recipe needs to be revisited, it was very bland and the sauce was very thin, also the portions are very small for the large price tag. I was expecting more pasta than could just fit on a bread plate. Big plus was that the staff were very friendly. But the time it took to get the food was pretty ridiculous and it wasnt very busy.

Chicken pesto and pine nuts is one their most popular dishes and whenever I eat it I make that face like oh how can anything taste this good. Its a small chain with only a few locations but the food is not chain like it is very good. Outdoor seating on 1st Street in Livermore is festive with all the people and activity around. Has a slightly upscale feel and prices a bit high. But theyre not snooty and its fine if youre dressed in gym clothes or anything.

Dont buy an online gift card from Strizzis because its a SCAM. Iordered an online $50 gift card for a friends birthday but he never received it and I never received a confirmation email. My credit card was charged so I called the manager and he said theyve been having a lot of problems with their online gift cards. The manager further said my credit card charged did not show up on his end so he could not give me a credit. I emailed him the charge and he said to just dispute it with my credit card company. I disputed it and just received a letter from my credit card company saying that the Strizzis denied to give me the $50 credit. Now Im out $100 because I since I thought I was getting a $50 credit from Strizzis I Venmo my friend $50 so he could have a birthday present.

Unremarkable food, substandard service. Arrived after waiting 30 minutes at another restaurant that had lost power. Meal cost $100 (with wine) for two (two salads + two entrees + wine). It took 15 minutes to get water. 25 minutes to get sorry no bread is left tonight (after watching three other tables that arrived after us get bread) and 55 minutes to get our entrees. My pork was thinner than thin cut grocery store pork chops-- my wifes red shrimp pasta came with the shell, which she said shes never seen anywhere, not even in NY (and shes well traveled.) Flavor was OK but not exciting or worth the price. Service was substandard-- they dropped my utensils during a food delivery mixup and didnt return them until several minutes after the entree was delivered and only then because we specifically flagged another server down to get utensils.

Strizzis is FANTASTIC. My family and I go to both the Livermore and Pleasanton locations whenever were looking for a great Italian fare fix. The locations are great with outdoor seating available. The servers are very friendly and the food is always delicious. Our favorite dishes are the Cajun Chicken Fettuccine and the Seafood Fettuccine. Their White Chocolate Gelato is also delicious.

Nothing I ordered tasted like authentic Italian cuisine. However, they are one of the few establishments in Livermore that accept Paypal, which is the reason we decided to dine there ($10 off discount through Paypal). But overall, Strizzis is definitely not a place to write home about, but if you have a coupon or discount like we did it could be worth it. In my opinion, Strizzis is honestly just okay.

I dont have anything against the place, really, but there are too many better options in Livermore, in the American Bistro niche. If youre in in for the taste, try Zephr, or Piccola Casa.
