I really enjoyed my experience at Stor-It Self Storage: Foothill Ranch when. The facility was clean, the prices were reasonable, and the management was amazing. Shout out to Rusty and Terra for their amazing hospitality.

This storage facility was a pleasure to do business with. Friendly owners, easy access to get in and out with your code on a pin pad, the grounds were always clean and easy to navigate through. Our storage unit was on the inside of one of the buildings so it was super easy to pull up the car to unload and load. We used them for almost a year as we were getting ready to move out of state and turns out the owners home state was the same state. Highly recommend this facility!

I have been a customer of this facility for the past nine months and have previously been very satisfied. The woman who helped us rent the unit (blonde older woman) was very nice and helpful, and the rate advertised on their website was honored easily when we went to rent the unit, and everything was clean.However, I just got a notice in the mail stating that my rent will be increasing by 276%!!!! I definitely understand that rent increases are normal, but I never would have expected such a drastic and significant increase. I had been recommending this facility to people I knew and if this is truly a 276% increase and not a mistake, I will be forced to take my business elsewhere and highly discourage anyone from renting here. :(

I have been with Stor-It Self Storage Foothill Ranch since the mid 1990s and have always found them to be kind, considerate and professional. They are very easy to work with (especially when times are tough). I feel that my property is in safe hands. The facility is always clean and secure. I gave four out of five stars because of a few rate increases over the past couple of years. Otherwise, I am very happy.

My experience with this storage facility has been nothing but positive and professional. I relocated to New York City years ago and have found this storage facility to be priced reasonably. Also, the management team Rusty and his wife Tara are a delight and have helped me tremendously over the years. They are proactive and detailed when it comes to ensuring my account is up-to-date. Last year during the beginning of COVID-19 Tara was extremely helpful with processing my payments while I recovered. Although I am now living in New York City, I have a piece of mind and feel at ease knowing that my unit is being managed by professionals who are honest, thoughtful and caring. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Foothill Stor-It Self Storage. The customer service is IMPECCABLE.

Wow! Rusty and his wife ( new owners) were extremely helpful and informative when we got our unit. Rusty went through every single detail for us, and even went out of his way to ensure our unit was cleaned again right before we loaded it. They have a great prices, clean facilities, and most importantly they have impeccable customer service!

Kim at the Foothill Ranch Store is not only very professional she is also very fun to work with; great personality and terrific knowledge of the facility. I came in cold and after we spoke for a couple of minutes and she took me directly to the exact unit I had described. Rates here are competitive and the service is excellent.Would recommend this place highly.

I am currently storing my belongings while looking for a house. Amy and the staff there have been very curtious and always willing to help find a solution to my storage needs. When the rent seemed too much, they worked with me to find another unit at a great price. It was a hassle to move my stuff one more time, but well worth the savings.I belive they have fair pricing. The facility is always clean. Only drawback may be the accesibility. No access on major holidays, late evenings, and shorter hours on Sunday. For the most part this has not been a problem, but you never know when you may need to get to that certain item!Hope this review helps. I would recommend this facility

Tara is definitely an asset to Stor-It Self Storage. Very customer focused and treats me like I was the only tenant renting a space. Shes very impressive. I am going to switch all my storage locations that I have at Storage West to this location thanks to Tara.

I signed up on the 24th of December 2017 and was very happy with the service and the wonderful blonde woman than signed me up at the time. I signed up for authorization to withdraw monthly fees with the understanding at that time that they would deduct monthly and I did not need to do anything else. I now have received a lien notice, stopped in last night and was told that the manager would call me in the morning to resolve because she did see that I signed the automatic payments and it was in the file. fast forward to this morning - the manager Nina called me and I have never been so rudely addressed and told that there was nothing she could do, I signed a paper and should have read it because it was not an automatic payment and I am liable for the late charge. I explained what I was told when I signed up and again told that it didnt matter, the only thing that mattered was what I signed and I should have read it. I asked to speak with her manager, boss or owner to which she told me she was not going to give me that information and I had to deal with her. The customer service experience is horrible and have only been here a little over a month....extremely disappointed I decided to rent here. Is this how you steal peoples property and extort more money out of them? shame on your business practices!!! if your employees mis-communicate something to a NEW customer and there is a clear mis-understanding some willingness to do the right thing to rectify the situation would have been the correct thing to do. you do not value your customers what-so-ever! very unfortunate.....

My ever-changing Family of 5 has used a few storage units at our Foothill Ranch Stor-It for years now...they are always very helpful to our needs of adding and emptying units as needed! I am thankful they are so close to us! Kim & Al are new to this location and I am glad they are here! I would strongly recommend this as a location to store your things!

I would have chose 1/2 a starI started with this storage facility with one unit signed up by Kim. Kim and her husband Al were pretty cool and helpful and I was a good paying tenant for months. Then when I went to move and needed a larger storage they only had another smaller one so I took it. They told me that I got a free truck rental with it for a day. I took which had to be back by 6 pm. I get a call from Bill about an hour before its return time and told him I was unloading as fast as possible and may be a few minutes late could I drop keys off in the door slot. He began to yell at me and told me no I could not and that I must be back prior to them closing. I told him that I was moving as fast as possible and it wouldn’t be more than about 15 minutes. Bill told me that if I was not here he would call the police and report it stolen and that there would be a late fee as well. I couldn’t believe my ears! First off if I am being charged a $100 late fee which is over double what Uhaul would have even charged to rent the truck and secondly I had given them my credit card, moving from address and moving to address as well as had my Land Rover parked at their facility. He was the worst person I have ever dealt with anywhere. Since he told me that there was no way to drop off the keys in a door slot I brought the truck clean and full of gas and was there when they opened. I tried to discuss this with Chris when I got there but only to find out her mind was made up because she is Bill’s wife. I called Kim whom knew that I had been a good tenant to discuss and complain and although she was nice she told me that I should have dropped the keys through the door slot and that she was on the premises all night because she lives there. She also referred me to a corperate phone number without even a greeting message to discuss and or complain and they never called me back either. In addition for my complaint they placed a move out notice on both of my storages making me move out less than two weeks later from both units and kept my full money for the months in addition to charging me three time what Uhaul would have charged to rent the truck for 24 hours. This has been the worst experience ever. There is no customer service, their charges are unethical and as you read a previous review they kick you out if you place a bad review or mention it. So if you’re not happy here move out before you say you will put a review or you will be evicted too.

Love it!I chose this place because my dad had a storage unit here for years and he never had any complaints. The people here are so friendly and helpful. The facility is also very clean. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I had a storage unit at Foothill Ranch for several years, but in the last year the management has changed, the new management (Kim and Al) are rude and very unprofessional. FYI…Kim offers $25.00 off your rent to post a positive review, and will kick you out if you post a negative one. They tried to pay me to write a positive review, but when I posted a negative review, she said I had to remove the negative review, or move out. I chose to move out.My most recent storage unit was a 5x5, my rent increased from $42.00 to $72.00 two months after moving into it. When I complained they said too bad, and sent me another letter stating the price increase. I saw the same unit being offered online for $38.00, so I put a hold on it. An employee called me and said the 5x5 was no longer available, but she had a 4x5 for $32.00. I said great, Ill be there Friday. When I called on Friday, they said that employee no longer worked there. I told them I had a reservation for a 4x5 for $32.00. Kim would not honor my reservation; she said it was not valid because the employee no longer worked there. But, she would do me a big favor and give me a 5x5 for $58.00. I had made the same reservation at the Aliso Viejo location, and they honored my reservation for $38.00, so I moved my items to Aliso Viejo.Kim’s attitude was very unprofessional, and mean, so I posted a negative review about the Foothill Ranch location. Within 24 hours I was told by Kim Alton, the operations manager that I either had to remove my negative review about their Foothill Ranch location, or move out of the new unit in Aliso Viejo. I think it is important for customers to know the truth about the operations of STOR-IT

Ive rented a number of storage units all over orange county and this place is the cleanest and they have an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. They also give you a free truck rental when you move in! I highly recommend Stor-it.

My husband and I looked around a bit and decided to store our entire household at this facility. We utilized the free truck and found it very helpful. The limited hours for access at first felt annoying, but I like that there is no late night access now because I think it keeps the place safer and cleaner. I would recommend!

Very poor customer service. Wife of Husband & Wife management team, always wants to argue with customer about any issue. Lack of respect for customers. The husband has usually been helpful but wife should not be working there. Recommend other storage facilities in area.
