Drove from San Diego to Bellflower looking for a car they had in stock. They let me test drive the car to make sure it was up to my expectations. Excellent customer service from Zee and Peter. Zee and Peter went above and beyond to work a deal so I can take the car home. Went home happy with a new car!

I had my detailing appointment at 10am my car did not get taken back to get “ detailed “ until 11-11:15am . At 1:15 I was told my car was ready, as I go get ready to leave I seen my car wasn’t even touched ! Even the receptionist was even questioning what they did as far as any detailing which they did nothing. So they take it back once again to get “”detailed I did not get my car back until 3 PM and this is what my car still has the same stains from when I purchased it smh . Barley did anything to my car . I’ll never Come here again and it sucks because the sales men and Receptionist are really dope! Angel is the one who helped me get my car BUT as far as the maintenance side I wish I could rate 0 stars!

I do not know where to begin.Except that:One Star review is too many stars!I’ve been in this journey for an auto purchase for the past four months.I’ve visited this lot four times in as many months.The story changes, as does the salesperson. The end result is the only thing that is consistent.My most recent visit was just the topper.Yesterday (Sunday June 30, 2024, I received a text message from a representative, at 9:56am, asking me to “come in to finalize the deal”.I responded after my church service was over, and he advised me that the “deal” had a pending approval, so once again, I headed all of the way over there, someone called me, and told me that he was working with my salesperson and was wanting to “get me an approval”!This person asked “are you available to come in today to test drive and finalize a deal”.I responded that my ETA was 16 minutes.This same person called me again, when I was four blocks away from the lot, and told me that he had an approval.We test drove the vehicle, sat down to go over the terms.** I know that my credit score sucks due to recent health issues which I made them fully aware of prior to any visit **I was initially informed of $0 down and payment in the $500-$550 range.The salesperson said they would need a down payment. Being unprepared for this, combined with today is the first of the month, and what money I do have, is already allocated for bills.I told them I had approximately $250. Currently, with possibly more in three days.The salesperson came back, and told me that the bank was asking for $2,500 down.Again, we couldn’t make a deal.I walked out and sat in the vehicle that was loaned to me for the visit, decided to speak with a manager.A manager introduced himself to me and asked me what was going on. Out of courtesy of others attempting to purchase my, I asked to go somewhere private. We went into an office, and I laid it out about the entire four month long journey to purchase from them.This manager replied for me to hang out, and he would see what was going on.He returned about 5 minutes later, and told me that the “lender” required $5k as a down payment.Unbelievable!

Went in on 5/25/24 originally to purchase a Prius, but while we were working, the numbers it unfortunately sold. However Lisandro started showing me other Vehicles and I ended up loving a CLA 250 Mercedes-Benz! They worked with me as best as they could to meet my number and we came to an agreement. The car still needed to get maintenance work done, and they were kind enough to work on it and have the car be delivered from their Bellflower location to their Montclair location, which was closer to me and saved me a drive! Overall, I’m very pleased with the STG team, especially Lisandro and Alex who helped me. They are very attentive and answered all my questions my phone calls and text messages. I am very happy would highly recommend anybody looking to purchase a vehicle to stop by and check them out and on top of that all of their cars come with tinted windows and antitheft GPS already installed, which is great!!

Not happy at all with the lack of transparency at the time of concluding the financial transaction. Forced into buying a Theft protection device for $1,450. Be aware of this before buying a car there. Better yet, dont buy a car from them. They were very pushy into making us pay for extras in the vehicle. I realized later on that the theft protection was installed after I agreed to buy the car, while I was waiting for them to hand it over. We spent 6 hours total to walk out of there!! If you choose to still do business with them, look under the steering wheels ODB plug (Diagnostics plug). It gets its 12V from there. See pic what to look for. I removed mine. Get a Samsung tag for $40. You can find anything and it works within a few feet of distance. Also, they said that it will save you money with the insurance company. Another lie!! It doesnt. Thats what my agent told me after the fact.

Professional at all times, the whole venue was clean and went presented.Update to my review,Went from 5 stars to 1 star please do not take your business to this car dealership my experience with them is completely terrible and it is an uphill battle to get them to do anything with you once they sell you the car. At this point, its almost a scam dealing with them. Not only did they advertise the car for less than what the car cost but they will give you a run around with ordering any parts for the car. For example, my situation sold me an electric car without charging cables and didnt inform me the cables were not in the car. Its been almost 1 month now and if I dont harass them nothing will get done still havent received the cables or reimbursement for ordering my cables to charge the car. Oh, and to add once they realize you calling they will purposely put you on hold for 20 mins or until you hang up the phone and wont call you back. Let me make this very clear dont do any type of business with this car dealership. I will update this again once I do receive my cables or reimbursement.

Here at STG was a good experience being helped by Joesph (finance manager), Vincent (salesman), and Peter (Sales Manager). The communication between the parties was good overall. They also did a good job at working with me to get the price and car that I wanted. They did the best they could to get me the car I wanted within the price range I had set from the beginning. I have no complaints. My only suggestion is if they are able to make the process go by quicker or as quick as they can. Appreciate yall.

I called before going in because Bellflower is quite a distance from me. I spoke to an associate who later transferred my case to his manager, Gabriel. I repeatedly asked for the out-the-door price, but they kept insisting that I come in for a discount. After several days of back-and-forth, I called again to inquire about the out-the-door prices. Little did I know that I was being lured in for a dealership package, which turned out to be a markup of $3k on their vehicles. Their dishonesty has tarnished the reputation of all used car dealerships. Do not visit this dealership without first obtaining a preliminary out-the-door quote. If they refuse to provide one, its because they intend to mark up the price without your knowledge. The advertised prices are not accurate. I have purchased ten cars, seven of which were used, and I can assure you that not all dealerships engage in such practices.

I thought Ill be giving them 5 stars, but I had to wait for how they responded and take care of my husbands request after we purchased the car, but very disappointing. If not for my husband insistently calling to follow up about the part of his car, they wont even bother to take care of it. I dont think Ill bring my friends there to purchase their car. They need to improve their service not only to the prospective buyers but more so with those who already purchased because these are the same people who will bring more customers in your place!

I’m a college student that has an off-campus apartment next year. i came here with my dad to get a good used car. this place is truly disorganized. every time i came in, there was someone different working with us (even when we had appointments). also, they said they would bring certain cars over from a different location, but they wouldn’t be able to do so. worst part was that my dad said we would pay $26,000 for a car. they said no, so we walked out. simple as that. they proceeded to text us saying that they would give the car to us for that price. we came back & they upped the price. said no way we can do $26,000. why waste our time then? we drove 20 mins from our house to come to your place for you all not to carry integrity with your word. don’t come here unless you want to be disappointed, seriously. take it from someone who never writes reviews. if i could give a 0-star, i would. sidebar: peter & amanda are hard to work with, but armando, mike, & alan are nice people.

I listed my car for sale on the offer up. They contacted me first, showing interest in my car. However, they said the VIN didn’t match. I double-checked and it was the correct number. Just in case, I took a picture of the VIN and added it to my listing. After that, all I received was the message over 5 times Sorry, the VIN you provided is invalid. Please provide a valid VIN, no matter what I did.I called STG Bellflower and asked why they kept bothering me with repetitive messages. The female staff member put me on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnected the call.I was really impressed with your great spamming message system and customer service.

I recently purchased a car with some cosmetic issues, and the dealership assured me that they would address these concerns after the purchase. However, after leaving the car at the dealership for two days for repairs, no progress was made. I requested the service center to contact me to schedule an appointment, but I have not received a response to my calls, texts, or emails after four days. I am disappointed by the lack of responsiveness and professionalism. Its unfortunate that the level of service decreased after the sale was finalized.

Very shady dealer, that will add extra charges into the financing of the car that you don’t need, took hours just to get them to remove all that junk. Also, they ran my credit multiple times when I had told them early on I had a preapproved loan. Avoid this place at all costs, there are better dealers out there with similar cars.

Terrible experience. I was ready to make a purchase until I met them. They had the car I wanted but terrible communication. Super shady and very pushy. Wanted me to get a loan through them although I already had a loan. Wanted to check my credit for some reason they couldn’t explain. I used their tool to value my trade in wouldn’t even talk about how much they would give me for it. Do not buy from here. Save your time and go elsewhere.

So, about two weeks ago I was searching for a Mercedes CLA 250. It was my wifes birthday and I thought I had found the perfect car. However, once I got to the dealer (STG Auto group, Santa Ana) we had to wait, A WHILE, even though we had an appointment.Our salesman that we had been dealing with via text came up to us and asked if we had been helped. We told him no, and then asked who we were waiting for, we told him, he said hell go get him for us. Stay with me now. However, someone totally different came out and we knew it wasnt our sales person we had been texting with. The other salesman said, ****** sent me to come help you. We declined.So, come to find out the salesman who asked if wed been helped WAS the person we actually had the appointment with. He was already working with other customers and Im guessing, he couldnt handle multiple customers at once. We felt as if we had been deceived and 52 faked.(football reference). We wouldve understood, all he had to do was inform us. I dont know what his reasoning was but we knew we had to leave. This was the worst customer service, and it was probably only going to get worse.We ended up going to STG Auto Group in Bellflower, CA., and as soon as we arrived, Ricardo came over and introduced himself to us. We told him the car we were looking for and he went and got the most beautiful Mercedes CLA250 I have seen. I had my own financing but the payments were gonna be higher than I was willing to pay. Ricardo didnt stop there. He got his finance Manager and they worked out a deal for us we couldnt refuse.So we took the car to Mercedes of Ontario to get everything checked out. And they said the car was in immaculate condition and offered to buy it above what we paid, no strings attached. Of course my wife respectfully said, no thank you. After going Friday evening bc i was told by Drew i needed to do the customer interview within 24 hours, was a complete waste of time! I couldn’t stress it enough to him i was commuting over 2 HOURS. He told me no worries everything is set and that “ he got me” and that all i needed was that along with my down payment and the car was mine. Smh long story short Drew didn’t even help me, he told Eric to take over and i ended up getting screwed over again, had my credit score dropped 24 points, and was asking for a way more down payment than what Drew told me what i had was perfectly fine. I was there 3 hours to get turned down after being told i was set. Main job of a sales rep is to Lie Lie Lie.

I recommend paying attention to add-on fees and asking questions to understand your purchase fully. Despite that, my experience at STG Auto was positive, and I left with the Honda CR-V I wanted.

Communication with STG was horrible. I bought my car did not get it until 2 weeks later, while I called consistently. I had Anti-theft which they did not remember to install until I was there to pick it up. My salesperson was Amanda, had good customer service, but I had to keep reminding her of things. I am beyond disappointed in this establishment. They gave us the run around, created false scenarios/gossip around the office about my household situation and lied about us qualifying for a vehicle. A lot of if felt like we were being judged by our skin color since everyone in site is hispanic, but I really hate to go there. I will be reporting them to the BBB for a few things. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I learned about this dealership after finding a car on the internet at a decent price.When I first contacted the dealership they let me know that the internet price didn’t include accessories.I let them know at first that I was not interested. After a week, I got a text from Jose.After going back and forth, we agreed to a price and to my trade in price, all over text.Then we did speak and he agreed to hold the car for me.The next day I drove from San Diego, was at the dealership at 9:00 am.Jose was waiting for me. He instroduced me to Daniel.Both were really good people to deal with. Shocked to see positive selling experiences. It can only be people who dont know they sold their car way below market values. Do not waste your time selling your car to them. Here is my experience.For weeks theyve had multiple people reaching out to me, already a red flag since they dont communicate. They sent an offer for $20,090 with a link where you can counter but when you counter and ask why its not considered you find out that their offers are final, you cant counter it. Hmm.After multiple calls, I was kind enough to share my expectations on price and advised that before wasting their time or mine due to my busy schedule, that they need to review my FB/CL listings in detail. I put detailed notes on the issues, cosmetics interior/exterior and all the photos attached. Maya followed up with me assuring me that she was aware of my concerns and advised her team and that everyone, including the manager reviewed and were ok with that offer. So, my expectation going in was that, unless they find NEW Damage undisclosed already that my offer would be pretty close. She calls me on a Holiday, Memorial Day, to book an appointment. I schedule and show up within 30min, 5min before my appointment. She gave no direction on what to do when I got there but calls at my 4pm appt time to make sure I made it, she advises to go to the front desk. The lady at the front desk seemed like she was not wanting to be working to talking, my wife even commented about it, and her tone was short. All I did was what I was advised, go to the desk to check in for my appointment.An evaluator Stephanie comes out and asks for the keys to do the inspection. She says she does it alone (personally I wanted to see her process and hear her concerns to make sure she knew what was already mentioned and disclosed). She is at the car for 15min, but then disappears for 30min without returning my key or telling me anything so we were stuck in the waiting room for about 45 min before she comes back and sits down to review the offer. EVERYONE along the way was told the same thing, that if I come I want to be leaving with a check and that it would be done on the spot, and I was assured everyone was informed and up to speed.The first things Stephanie tells me is that, unfortunately we cant do anything today because it need mechanical inspection and that team isnt in office today. Then she proceeds to give a long winded reason for why she was about to lowball me so I cut her short and asked if she could just tell me the current offer. Pre-inspection (which is why I brought the car in) the offer was $18k. I asked what changed and she proceeds to mention all the things in the photos and confirms she did see them and was aware of them but that they still resulted in some deductions.BAIT AND SWITCH - classic dealer move to tell you all you need to hear to get you in the door. My wife had just come home from a long driving trip all weekend and was not feeling well but we did our part to drive TWO cars there planning to sell it. I was even willing to take $19k which is not just $1,090 below offer, but also $100 more that they offer for bringing it in that I was going to lose so $1190. I was working in their lobby on my laptop because I took time to go in. HUGE waste of our time, no regard for the customer or how they do business. Then she had to go get my keys before I could leave because I guess thats how they keep you hostage. Showed up for a test drive. Rosemary promptly helped us out. She was very patient and answered all our questions. Rosemary, Jose Baeza, and Freddy helped get our monthly rate as close as they could for our budget. While they don’t add any markups they do lock in fees for the GPS tracker, tints, and door guards installed on the vehicle. We tried negotiating out of having the additional accessory fees, but that is their way of making profit. They did get my monthly rate low and my trade in value higher as a trade off. Second truck had one fob.when I asked why they did not have fobs or disclosed this prior to purchasing trucks. They told me that’s how they come as is. Told them I wanted to talk to the man in charge they put me on hold again for over an hour if not longer I finally hung up. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.Paid cash for both vehicles. Also, when you do your contract, make sure that you don’t sign for theft patrol or appearance and protection warranty those are both OPTIONAL!! It’s an additional 2500 to the contract. My experience with this dealer was not ideal. I would caution anyone to pay close attention to their process and what they present. Immediately upon arriving the vehicle did not match the advertised images. I can live with that but when asking why the switch they gave me wrote answers that did not specifically address my concerns. When being offered deals they are very guarded over the line items and go through them fast... this felt much like a tactic to be able to insert a $900+ markup for ceramic window tints. Youll get passed around through the usual hierarchy of staff trying to help you, much like any auto buying experience but this process smelled fishy. With no explanation or notification the staff would change. One individual took my drivers license to run my credit and a different individual returned with the results but did not return my ID. When I asked for it back they said, sure I can get that now, but lets talk about what deal I can get you. I literally had to request three times for them to return it. I asked for a breakdown and the documents were deemed internal but they would always come back with lower numbers. The sad thing is they had the vehicle I wanted, was able to buy that day and was willing to accept the inaccuracies in the advertisements. At the end of the day though, it was not worth dealing with STG auto group! I wouldnt say dont go here because you can learn a lot from these experiences but if you do go here, question everything! Also, maybe dont buy a vehicle from them.I visited 8 places in my search for a vehicle and this place was by far the worst. I also was able to secure deals without markups and with lower rates than STG was willing to offer.

No issue, I put the deposit on my credit card which came with 15 dollar deposit fee. Next day my son was going to have problem getting insurance in California so, decided not to get the car and called the dealer to request them to refund the money to the card. It has been almost 2 months and after numerous text and calls no refund. Typically they will put you on hold for almost half hour and you just hand up and call again and put on hold again for another half hour. So as an advice yes they have good section of cars DO NOT PUT DEPOSIT DOWN as you probably will not get it back. I would give a 0 rating if possible.These guys are one of the dirtiest dealerships I have ever dealt with, initially all the flowery sales pitch and then zero interaction post the sale. The sales guy (Jeremy Deras, a 27 yr. kid) said it was an open (option) finance contract when selling (sale date: 4/9/23 Sunday) the vehicle and upon calling (4/12/23) them for the sales contract requested by the bank, Cynthia from the funding team tells me that its NOT an open contract and the loan has already been processed (Monday 4/10/23) which was for an insane APR% with some 3rd world bank. Now my only option is to refinance the loan for which the %APR is higher than a regular used auto loan.I was put on hold by Cynthia for about an hour, wanting her manager to get on the line, and all i could hear is the wait music.I drove 400 miles from San Jose to LA, and this is the level of service I get. I dont recommend this dealership at all unless everything is agreed and on paper, no verbal agreements/promises.

I came to this dealership initially to look at a sedan, but found a crossover I liked better. It was more than I wanted to pay, but I just wanted to get out of there with my car. As soon as I drove it off the lot, it started having issues. When I took it back to have it fixed, their mechanics said they couldnt reproduce the issue. I responded to an Autotrader listing for a 2022 Lexus that I was buying for a close friend and received a classic bait and switch false advertising experience . After a couple of verbal requests for an extra key fob and the cars books I was told that I could buy the car at the posted price, no requested items, but without any dealer add-ons (a euphemism for grossly overpriced junk of highly questionable value added to the advertised price to boost profit). Nothing on paper materialized and I was told that the contract would be emailed to me for my approval before it was overnighted to my friend for signature and overnight return with payment. This didnt happen although my salesman told me that everything was on track and supposedly in progress. Im ashamed to say that I didnt realize that I was being scammed as I was under the impression that this type of behavior had been banned by the FTC C.A.R.S. Act and it was only after wasting another three days trying to chase paperwork that would never arrive that I learned that the C.A.R.S. act wasnt in effect as it has been stalled by Judicial Review. If and when this act comes into legal force it will hopefully put this type of dealership out of business once and for all.

To begin with, they will have at least 3 people contact you and ask you how they can help even you have already explained to one of them. The lower than market price you saw online is a bait. They will add $1495 GPS, $795 clear door guard, $795 tint on top. if you really like the car please dont show that and please do yourselves a favor to negotiate on that. Terrible place to do business, make it’s very difficult to get a car if you already got a loan from somewhere else. Was told my car was ready for me to pick up so I go and try to get it and they had me wait almost an hour to get it and proceeded to tell me to call their own financial department to see if I can take it home, even when their own financial department told me it’s out of her hands on when I can take the car home once they receive the check. The worse of it is the car wasn’t even clean, there was adhesive remains on the inside of the car and some water damage since they left the window to the car down. This week I took my car in for minor body repairs upon inspection it appears the vehicle had been in several accidents and was pieced together with two sided tape in multiple areas. There were several loose wires and missing bolts. None of this was disclosed to me at the time of purchase and based on the report the vehicle was not safe to be driven due to its condition. I have a 60k pre approval from my bank but he refused to even talk numbers with me without first running my credit as a “back up”. Now once we were there would be greeted buy one of their sales reps I believe his name was Xavier as far as a Salesman go he seemed pretty knowledgeable. I especially liked his hands off approach since were still dealing with Covid-19 and he periodically checked in on us to see if we needed help. So after a few test drives it was already established that we wouldnt be buying a car he provided us with all his information and his recommendations and we were on our way. so we originally had no intentions on buying a car from these people but the salesman actually made a difference, so once my daughter decides what she actually wants we will definitely be going back to this dealership for the purchase. My son Cole went in to buy his first truck. Everything felt great off the bat with Oscar. He was great and helped us feel welcome.When we came back a second time to sign for the truck everything changed. Their middle man that talks prices with you is horrible. Super rude, forward, and not helpful at all. They have a scheme and finally send the manager in to finish it. Alex the manager finally comes in and after finally agreeing on a price and signing the contract with the loan approval from our personal bank, we waited for two and a half weeks just to pick up the truck. We tried daily with STG but they provided no communication at all. Finally we received the truck thinking everything was good and we never had to work or talk to them again.Three weeks later we find out from our trusted family friend mechanic that the transmission is failing. How does the truck pass STGs so called diagnosis and is then put up for sale. Called STG and they are now are telling us they can not look at our truck for over 15 days. This means no transportation, no rental or anything. This is the worst service I have experienced in my 40 years of dealing with dealerships. I would stay away from here.

I went in on Monday to get a new car after my car was hit in an accident. I went in thinking I’d be paying around 28500 for this car I wanted. I went in at 10am and left around 1:20pm. I had to get to work. I spoke with Jeorge Millan, he helped me get all the paper work ready. He was shady. His arm carefully placed over the paper so I could only see where to sign and would change the page immediately. So now I owe the exact amount I should have bought the car at. Don’t go here. They’re shady and the manager encourages this behavior. I’ll be reaching out to the bbb.The manager said It’s a good thing I paid for the extra detail package when I didn’t want nor was made aware of.This place is scummy and they should be ashamed of themselves.There’s also no reason I can see in which they charged me 42k when the original price online was $23999.

My experience with Gabriel, started nicely. I test drove one car on Saturday and had them bring a second car for one of their other locations to test drive on Sunday and got helped by Anthony Fortunati. I test drove the second car and for the purpose of this review I will add prices, the car I test drive in Sunday with Anthony was listed on their website for $18,500 after the drive I told him I would like to see what the final cost of this vehicle would be since I was going to finance through my bank. We went to his little office and eventually gave me an out the door price which was $24,000 which took me by surprise, he did everything in his power to try and get me to finance through them and at some point even got aggressive towards me and my husband because he was willingly doing back work which we NEVER asked him to in order to finalize the sale. My husband got aggravated and called him out on his tone and approach. He came back with a “break down” list of the cost if I financed through them. This vehicle had no repairs done other than an inspection, nothing was changed however STG added tint and a GPS track device which they were trying to get us to pay for it, a “dealers fee”, and added an additional insurance to the vehicle. We walked out of this place as fast as we could and we have now purchased a vehicle with an actual Toyota dealership and didn’t have to pay any “extra fees” like this place tried to scammed us into. My advice would be to shop around at an actual named brand dealership before finalizing anything with them who knows you might be able to say yourself a few thousand. All in all I do not recommend them and please avoid Anthony.

They still have not return my deposit that i already had given on the 24th. I kept calling Jeremy never available or was off! I called again and again, the receptionist said he was off Monday and Tuesday “SO OBVIOUSLY” he was there Friday when i returned the car! I finally talked to his Sales Manager Jose on November 8th, 2023 and he said he would get right on it. I still do not have my deposit! I never argued with them i never disrespected them i understood the situation and went on my way. But they definitely have disrespected, lied and been extremely unprofessional with me. There was no need for him to lie to me about anything! I purchase a 2019 Ram 1500Laramie 4 x 4, beautiful truck low mileage and great price- I would recommend this dealership and salesman Oscar Chavez, Bryan great service. Bill the manager was great. Credit was ran only once and with the bank I request with a great rate.They had the best truck I wanted over all other dealerships I visited. Price’s reasonable. Great Customer Service from all the staff we encountered but Alex the sales manager and Joseph in Finance were absolutely fantastic. We could have purchased a car anywhere else but chose to purchase here because of the great customer service we received at the Bellflower location. Keep up the great work!
