First, I want to say that the first initial contact with the gentleman Jose at stereo city was very helpful.Secondly, I had an appointment scheduled for a Thursday and ended up getting me in on a Tuesday, (two days) early AWESOME.The quality of work Was exceptional and in a timely manner, It was done when they said it was gonna be done. The staff were very helpful from the beginning. Had a stereo system installed on my 2002 Silverado. Which I’m very happy with. Had some issues with my subwoofers “ I’m sure it wasn’t their fault” they took care of the problem great service. I highly recommend Stereo city. I will be back to get an alarm installed and back up camera!

Guys in here are honest and understand your needs without overselling. Installation takes a while but quality does take time, they installed a sub under the seats of my truck and they brought up the fact that the box wasn’t looking good since it had scratches and they order a new one and left the current box so I could have the sound meanwhile. Other shops wouldn’t even tell you things like this…

Service was good but wire by the foot was way to expensive especially for remote wire at $1.50 per foot. And their 12ga speaker wire is actually like 18ga but 12ga coated I definitely wont be buying wire from them again. I could have bought an entire install kit for a few dollars more.

I was in need of a stereo went shopping around at a couple of other shops. There prices are more reasonable, the guy was also very knowledgeable on his product he showed me a couple of different brands in my price range I had some questions about the product & he knew the answer right with out any hesitation, I would highly recommend them for any of ur car audio needs, It was installed the same day took them about 30mins or so, he also walked me thru how to set up the Bluetooth which I found that to be very helpful. Had my viper alarm installed for $250. kill switch wasnt hooked up correctly (main reason why I even got it installed), after setting off the alarm I can still crank the engine and drive off while alarm is going off. Didnt install hood pin switches and shock sensor doesnt work at all. Could be a faulty unit or poor install

Been going to this shop since I was 17. Never had a problem with them. They recently put an alarm system on my 87 Toyota pickup truck. They had an incident with my truck, but they accommodated me and reimbursed me quickly. With no hesitation, and or excuses. Will always come back to this shop and recommend this shop to anyone. I highly recommend and suggest this establishment for all your car audio needs! I am the type of customer that does their research in all the surrounding areas before I make my decisions. I made my choice with Stereo City being the best option. First off I was given the highest quality equipment and service by the manager and associate (Flo). Second, Stereo City beats all of the prices around the streets and online. Today I purchased a jl audio 12w7 with enclosed box along with a Jl Audio rd1500/1 and have to admit that I got the greatest deal and they understood my requirements. Definitely never going back here. They messed up all of my wiring, my battery, my amplifiers, speakers and subwoofer. Now I have to pay another thousands of dollars to fix all of this mess and when I tried to give them a call they would ignore me and finally answered only to schedule me and tell me they cant do anything about it. I purchased a touch screen head unit with rear camera and steering wheel controls for a bit over 1k at the time of purchase the service was fantastic after the installation the rear frame of the rear plate was removed the unit Bezel was completely loose and no steering wheel controls. I point to the issues and the sales rep got upset about it make the experience very uncomfortable he wanted to shift the blame to me. And the end I didnt get what I was offered in the beginning they fixed the bezel no frame for the license plate and no steering controls.0 for customer service-0 for the installation3 for pricingOverall a bad purchase experienceAnd disappointed 😞I dont recommend this place .

I visited Stereo City at 596 South E Street in San Bernardinoto have my cars windows tinted. After I told the gentlemenwhat car I had, he quoted me $160, then $173 after taxes. Whyso much? This is not an SUV but a sedan. I was told because ithas a lot of windows, so he justified the price. I agreed andit got worked on.Later that night, I approached a stop light and a car stoppedbehind me. I then noticed in my rear view mirror that thelower window was not tinted so the back window was not fullycomplete.I was totally apprehensive on going back there but I knew Iwould not get treated fairly as a customer and/or get chargedadditionally to get the lower back window completed.After enough convincing from my wife, I went back and spoke tothe 1st person I saw. I told the young man I was not happywith my tint job and would like it to be done completely.The young man said Ill get someone to help you. He thenwalked off as I sat down and patiently waited.After an hour goes by, I walked to the counter and talked tothe 2nd person I saw. I said I talked to the 1st young manabout helping me and Ive been waiting for an hour to behelped. The 2nd person said I thought he helped you, Ok, Illhelp you.The 2nd person seemed more compassionate to help me so I gavehim a chance and gave him my keys. He said there is a carahead of you and I will get you in in the next 30 minutes. Iagreed and went back over to the wait area and waited 30minutes patiently.After another 30 minutes go by, I walked to the 2nd man andasked about the status of my vehicle. It was still parked andno one brought it to the back of the shop.At this point, I get very upset and the 3rd person steps andthe 2nd person walks away and sits at the register whilewatching videos on his cell phone.The 3rd person appears to be the manager and defends his teamoutright. I told him the lower window was not tinted and Iexpressed why would I be overcharged and the job not becompletely done.I observed the back of the shop where all the cars are workedon and noticed there is only one person working on the carswhile there are about five people standing and sitting aroundup front.The 4th person appears to be the owner and he defends themanager outright. He wanted to get a calculator and try tojustify the price in front of me and I never felt so insultedand disrespected.I told him you do not have good customer service. He finallysaid I was going to do it for you, but now you need to leavemy store. I got my keys and quietly left his store.Next, I went to a professional tint shop outside of SanBernardino, I was quoted $140 for every window on the car andthey said I made a mistake going there in the first place.They even pointed out that my passenger front door has a gap inthe glass (tint work), so it did not fully cover the glass. Healso advised I get a refund or talk to the Better BusinessBureau.As a business owner myself, if any of my Partners behaved insuch an unprofessional manner, which Ive experienced, I wouldemploy a NEW team who are proud to be problem solvers andprovide excellent customer service.This is the worst tint job and customer service I have everreceived. If you are reading this and you are someone whoexpects excellent customer service, quality, and you work hard foryour dollar, I highly recommend doing business outside of SanBernardino.Keith Peters

Customer service is not that great. I put a $200 deposit on the Alpine ILX-507 to be installed in my vehicle. When I did additional research online about Alpine I found out that I would be losing the factory satellite navigation system in my vehicle if I push trough with the Alpine ILX 507. I don’t want to lose the factory satellite navigation because I use it for offroading. So I decided to come back after a couple of days to cancel my order since they scheduled the installation for the following week & haven’t done the installation yet. So technically nothing is sold yet because no installation has been done & no products were opened. It was just a deposit but the guy on the counter told me that I can’t cancel it & that they can not refund my money. They didn’t tell me in the beginning that once I put down a deposit I won’t be able to cancel it anymore. They told me that I can only get any item in their store that is worth $200 but not a refund! So to any customers out there looking to do business with Stereo City beware not to put down any deposit coz you won’t get your money back if you decide to cancel it even though they haven’t done any installation yet..

The guy told me to be there at 9am on Saturday and made me wait almost 5 hours for an hour job. Seen him lolligaggin instead of working and he charged me almost 500 for labor just to install a new stereo and speakers. I would never go there again and would never recommend them. Was the work he did good yes. But you dont treat customers that way. And it cost way too much.

I brought my car to Stereo City because my stereo wires was so messedup, my whole radio came in and out of its place, memory did not stayedand the top of that my 2 rear speaker did not work at all. Eric was verynice he called me later and explained me what was wrong with the stereo,they had to rewire all the cables of the speakers and the radio too.They put it back to its place so its not moving at all and they alsoput a nice frame back to the front of the stereo. They did an amazingjob they even put a radio antenna in which I never had. They work at avery reasonable price! Stereo city was very helpful when I randomly walked in just to see what it was about. I talked to someone and he walked me through with what I get with each different price and brand. And didnt mind answering any question I had for them. There are 2 catches for me, the first one is it is by appointment only, but the appointment is worth it they do a very good job and the products they use keep your radio finish smooth. The only complant is when I picked up the keys and was about to drive off, I noticed a Crack in the dash above where the old radio was before. Im not holding it against them the plastic is old and was bound to happen, but I wish they wouldve atleast notified me of the Crack. I’m not gonna lie, I was disappointed when I heard the radio specially after spending so much money, maybe for some people $1800 is not a lot I work everyday I think is a lot, my factory radio sounded better and the alarm wasn’t working right and the sales person blamed my truck not sure why if that was the case the installer would known better, lights don’t work right I can’t afford to loose work days to get it fixed and is my daily driver, I just think that unfortunately is a common trend now days when customer service is not what it just to be and clients are taken for granted. Recently I sold that truck and the new owner is now enjoying that incredible system that has been 100% reliable and the clarity and craftsmanship of the system is just impeccable. The installer is going to build me a custom box with a 30 long bass port internal to the box. Its going to be sick with the JL sub I got.

Update: I got a call for them apologizing and I really appreciate it. They also let me know everything they do has a lifetime warranty so if anything goes wrong I’m welcome to come back and they will fix it for free. We may have had a rough start but Ross definitely changed my mind. The work itself was installed well with all the cords tucked away nicely and the battery hidden as well. I am considering coming back for some more work in the future.TLDR: Wanted 3 cam dash cam installed. They don’t look up the equipment they are installing. They put cams in the wrong place. Worker gave me attitude when I asked to get it fixed.I came to get a 3 channel dash cam installed. Each camera has its own specific function. The biggest one with the highest quality facing front, one with lights facing inside, and one without lights facing the back. They put the highest quality one facing inward and the one with the lights facing forward. An honest mistake, I came back to get it fixed. The guy installing it gave me such attitude as if it was my fault for not telling them which one goes where. Even though it was on the manual that I brought to them, one quick google search would show you too, and he could have called me at any time. They are also physically different so it’s very obvious they have different functions. He told me “Tell me exactly where you want them so you don’t have me moving them around over and over again.” Talking at me as if this was the third time I had him change it or something. Two of the cams had to be moved and I asked him where the legal spots to put the front dash cam are. And he couldn’t tell me. Again one google search would have shown you. Instead he just kept saying “Just tell me exactly where you want them” Finally we settled on a new spot, got the camera orientations fixed. They did not charge me for the fix which I appreciate. I just really did not like the attitude and unprofessionalism of that worker.

This is the best stereo shop Ive been to! Everybody in the place is KIND, RESPECTFUL and pleasure to work with. I went in there not knowing exactly what I was looking for and by the time they were done explaining all of the pros and cons on each product, I knew exactly what I wanted. Not to mention the pricing! After I bought all of my products and got home I spent a good hour trying to find a cheaper price online of everything I purchased and nothing came close. Very satisfied with Stereo City! I would reccomend this shop to anybody no matter your stereo needs.

This shop and these guys are fantastic. They show you exactly what will work for you and is in your budget, no upsell or back door politics like the other shops around. They have knowledge on all their products and exactly whats going to work for you. This is the first shop Ive gone to since moving here from San Diego and I can tell you I dont need to go to any others because I found my car audio headquarters. Thanks so much for doing it right, seems like a hard thing to find these days in this industry.I always come back to these guys first. Then back three or four times now and they always been over backwards to get me the best deal and remember me no matter how long its been. That really means something to me as a consumer. I cant recommend this place enough.

Great shop MASSIVE selection. Levi is the man with the plan (very knowledgeable on the products). He will hook you up with all your audio needs the RIGHT ones. Went to another shop, they recommended a speaker for me, came to Levi who kindly pointed out said speakers would not fit right in my factory doors without modification. He hooked me up with the right products for the right price! Would definitely recommend this shop, coming back soon for more upgrades!!! AUTHORIZED DEALER = GREAT WARRANTY.

I have nothing but good things to say about Stereo City. The staff were extremely helpful and wasted no time helping me out. I started out at a different Stereo shopping around the corner and had a terrible experience waiting while the owners stood behind the register eating and not greeting me until I asked for help. I left that location and right down the way was Stereo City. Bottom line is Stereo City took care of my two classics and customized them the way I had envisioned it.I highly recommend them to anyone whos looking for quality work.

Theyre Having a Winter special right now and after it was installed it hits so hard. Was so happy with my system I decided to do tint there too, really good price and perfect. After a terrible day dealing with Best Buy, I came to Stereo City out of desperation to complete an install. I spoke with Carlos and he was extremely helpful. They answered all my questions, and perfectly fixed the mess that I had been dealing with. I wish I would have come here first, as the professionalism is outstanding and the customer service shines. They were even able to fit me in same day, very understanding of my frustration with poor service elsewhere. I recommend Stereo City to anyone looking for excellent quality and great service.

Cannot be more happy with the service I got from this place. They answered all my questions and made sure I got all the features I was looking for in a stereo for my van (Spotify, cd/dvd, etc.) at a reasonable price. Had a slight issue with the DVD not playing on my screen but Levi was very helpful in helping me fix that. All around great place to get a stereo!
