Love love love this place. I wanted to try one of everything and was so grateful to even have what I had. As we were ordering tempted, and you know, I was eating oysters, steak, appetizers, and popcorn ice cream dont let the price points scare you off because this place is worth every time you spend. All the food that I have posted was for only two of us and we ate every ounce of it.

Modern steakhouse from the family who founded Mastro’s, one of the country’s most recognized brands for steak. I went for my birthday based on reviews & I needed something to enjoy. I’m typically a Ruth Chris girlie, but I’ve been so many times. I took myself btw. I made a reservation, valet was very kind, I couldn’t even tell you how many people checked on me to make sure I was doing okay but I appreciated everything. The bread was amazing, the recommendations were amazing, even the other guest in the restaurant were sweet and told me happy birthday & took pictures of me. The atmosphere was beautiful, the lighting was perfect too. They even gave me a birthday card & the dessert was a 10/10. It was literally the best birthday I’ve had in years. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend coming here again.

Date night to the next level. If you can pull it off, ask for the chefs table. The drinks are amazing, the bartenders are fabulous, the food is on point, the atmosphere is it.This is a great spot. I would recommend many times over. This has become our weekly spot.If you find the need to ask about the prices, you probably should not go here.

The atmosphere was nice, service was excellent, our drinks were delicious I had the Remy Sidecar w/Hennessy our appetizer were the fried lobster tails, crispy shrimp,and meatballs 😋 for my main course I had the 12oz. Ny strip with macaroni and cheese, spinach and sweet potatoes with pecans all very delicious .. went on mothers day and it was very nice !!!!

Wow this steakhouse was absolutely AMAZING! From the very beginning. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Every greets you as you walk in.We made reservations for the bar area. We were waited on by Mansa, Kevin and Jason.Their service was absolutely phenomenal!The steak was to die for. High quality steaks and shrimp . My hubby and I send lots of time at different steakhouses, this was by the very best! We will definitely be back!

This Place is a joke.Got ignored by my first waiter for 20 mins, second one eventually showed up to take my order.I ordered a bone in fillet medium with crispy shrimp.It showed up raw! After that they offered to cook me another one but they just removed the shrimp from the top of the old one, through it in the oven and brought it back with the same old now cold shrimp. When I did not accept that piece of dry meet they took it and this time cooked me another but smaller fillet (in compare to the first one) and brought it with the same old crispy shrimps now cold and soggy and the new steak was well done making it two failed attempts to cook a steak properly to the order. It took me 70 minutes from sitting down to getting that awful meal for the price of $96 with tax just for the steak and shrimp. To be honest I do not think the second smaller steak they brought me was even dry aged. (Second picture is the second steak with old shrimps on the side, first pic is the first raw steak with shrimp on the top as it supposed to be)I would suggest to stay away from this place!P.S. this was my second time here. First time food was good but they over charged my credit card $30 from the final bill and it took me several attempts to fix it!!!

Everything was perfect! We had incredible food and Matias, our server was extremely friendly and kind. This is one of those places that no matter what you get, you are going to enjoy it. Another thing that is worth mentioning is that they cook the steak perfectly well. I asked for aMedium filet mignon and it had a nice pink center!Please, don’t forget to get the “Whipped Praline Sweet Potato” and the “Corn Crème Brûlée” they are absolutely amazing.

This was a perfect dinner, we went to try the food for a private event. We had to try some of the dishes we were hesitating for the menu and oh my! Dined here to celebrate my daughters 22nd birthday & celebrate her friends college graduation and received the best 5 star dining experience thanks to the manager Daniel Lopez and his amazing staff. Everyone was so hospitable, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu which made our dining experience even better than expected. Our dinner and drinks were absolutely amazing as well. Can’t wait to come back to receive that exceptional service once again. Steak 48 is the best hands down!

There are so many “high end” steakhouses in this town but since Steak 48 opened it has truly become my go to for an indulgent night out. I’ve tried so many items off the menu and truly everything is so well done…everything expect oddly the Caesar salad! It’s just not up to par for what one would expect, but it does not take away from the overall experience. From the fish to the meat to the perfect steaks, everything is flavorful, well cooked and priced fairly. The restaurant is big and never feels too crowded, but is also quite lively. The wait staff is consistently on top of their game. I’d say the best part could be the drinks! This is not a place to get a weak small pour…and that is appreciated greatly. Make sure to order chef eddies au gratin potatoes! And the gelato cake!!

The service and food was top notch and exceeded my expectations.We sat at the bar area and our server, Chris, was very attentive, friendly and did a great job explaining everything.Bread was brought to our table which was buttery and almost like a sideways flaky biscuit. So good!Ordered ribeyes and they were cooked as requested. The steak was very tender, flavorful and a huge portion. Also ordered the broccoli and brussel sprouts. I highly recommend both of these sides. They were delicious.Got a Ginger Peach cocktail which was refreshing and one could easily drink multiple of these.I definitely am coming back and have already recommended this place to others.

This is what Maestros wishes it was! Spectacular room ~ the BEST service ever ~ and fantastic food ! We sat at the bar and Brandon served us and was the best bartender / server of all time ! The menu was really diverse and there were great and unusual options. We had the king crab tomato stack which was awesome, the burrata with tomato jam which was insanely good, the crispy shrimp, Caesar salad (split) and for steaks we had a petit filet and a bone in ribeye with a side of the crème brûlée corn - incredibly good… they had amazing music playing the entire time, it was very lively and upbeat. Such a beautiful restaurant with great service and amazing food! We will definitely be going back many times!

Steak48 provided an excellent meal experience. Food was really good with steaks cooked exactly as ordered. Apps and side dishes were equally good including delicious sautéed mushrooms. Service was efficient and friendly. We were surprised and delighted at how large the “per glass” pours were for the wine. I’d estimate the red wines ordered were 50-75% more wine per glass than usual……which justifies the fairly high per glass pricing. We will surely be back. Also, in a first for me, the restaurant called and left a message the next day thanking us for having dinner with them. Class act.

Everything about this place was spot on. From the service, to the food, to the vibe. We ordered the filet, the salmon, and the ribeye. Each was cooked to perfection. Special and unique steak house. The space is designed with many private booths that are behind glass walls. Theres a center bar but also another beautiful full bar in the back. We went to Steak 48 the first week they were open and arrived early for a 5:00 dinner. There is valet parking out front. The restaurant is very large, and after our meal our waiter gave us a tour of the place. The bar and restaurant filled up quickly, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. The decor is classic and not trendy. We ordered crispy shrimp, roasted Brussels sprouts, creamy macaroni and cheese, roasted beet salad, 8 oz filet mignon with truffle butter, New York strip grass fed 12 oz with blue cheese sauce, key lime pie, and a St. George Manhattan. The key lime pie was absolutely divine! I would not recommend the Brussels sprouts because they were too al dente and not enough seasoning. I loved the beet salad. The steaks were perfect, but the bleu cheese sauce was too strong. The truffle butter was delicious and I would order it again. Our waiter was fantastic, went above and beyond, and answered all our questions. My only complaint is when they packed our leftovers to go, the did not include the truffle butter. It’s a great place to go for a celebration and great for large parties too. When I go back I would like to sit at the back tables that have a full kitchen view. There were so many different areas to dine in and each one was unique. Can’t wait to go back!!

Having been to their original location in Scottsdale, AZ and having great experiences there, I was expecting a bit more from one in Beverly Hills.Reservation process and check in were simple and easy. Seated promptly (no wait, not busy). But, not given any menus which I thought was strange. Back waiter was attentive and helpful from the start and throughout. After a bottle of water, we asked for menus (this is 5 mins in already). He told us the server would bring them. Again, a little strange because we were sitting waiting for menus.After a few more mins, finally greeted with menus. Server (Toni) was very knowledgeable and provided some of her favorites. I got the orange old fashioned and a bottle of 8 Years in the Desert. Both great choices although I was surprised there was no offer to decant the bottle.Onto apps...per her suggestion we got the crispy shrimp which was a great choice. Great flavor and presentation. Also chose the burrata dish which didnt disappoint either. Have I mentioned the house bread? Delicious. Almost like an amped up version of the crescent rolls Mom used to make.Saw a bit of lull between apps and dinner but eventually it all came out. Petite filet and KC strip were our steak choices. For sides we went with Kennebec potatoes, Brussels sprouts and sautéed sweet corn. A bit heavy handed with seasoning on the steaks but was still good. KC strip cooked perfectly but the filet was undercooked even on the 500 degree plate. Potatoes were just ok. Dried out and overcooked. The Brussels and corn just ok too.Portions are nice. Actually had to take most of entree portion home. And this was the really strange part. Youd think that a new, upscale steakhouse in Beverly Hills would have to-go containers. Nope! They used Sav-A-Day food trays. And not even with lids. They used aluminum foil on top. For a $460 dinner for 2 people, am I wrong to expect a bit more?Overall, just ok. Not sure if Ill be back though

I love the design of the restaurant. The colors are beautiful and its all comfortable, its the type of restaurant you could sit at for hours.Unfortunately, the food misses the mark. It was so disappointing to have a westholm wagyu Filet ruined by the weird seasonings that were put on it.The undercooked steaks and overly hot plates is a trick used at sub par steak houses to avoid cooking steaks accurately, and Im sad that this new Steakhouse is trying to use old tricks to avoid training kitchen staff. From the pilsbarey tasting bread, to the microwave desserts, I know people arent coming here for the food.The service was pretty bad. Over trained staff required to hit certain talking points and marks, its exhausting and frankly outdated service. The server also highlighted and recommended every item of the menu that was expensive.i came for the steak, and frankly we dont do seafood, its not our thing, but listening to the server tell us the recommendations are Caviar, A5, AKC and everything premium priced, lets me know that this was not a trusted ally, but just a robotic pusher.This restaurant is like a flemings, ruths chris, del Frisco, mastros. Fake food, fake weird service and high prices.Its not like a Gwen, CUT, Chi Spacca.Real chefs, real people, culinary arts.Im happy I got to try it so I know. Im more of a luxury food person and this is not that. This is that upscale benihana some people love and theres nothing wrong with that. But if I wanted Fogo De Chao, Ill just go to the one near me.Steak 48 is not so great, not for a date, not for a steak, it was a bad idea for a birthday meal, when all I wanted to do is eat somewhere real, overly trained service whats the deal? I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is amazing. I have had their steak (rare), chilean sea bass (braised) and the Shetland Island salmon (braised) and they were all delicious! Definitely order the crispy shrimp. My favorite dessert is the triple layer key lime pie. Service is always outstanding. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to dinner here.

One of the best steak dinners I have had in Los Angeles. I’ve been to their other location in Scottsdale a few times and loved each of those visits and have been a big Mastro’s fan for many many years, so I expected this dinner to be good and was definitely pleased when it was. It’s located in a beautiful part of town and it’s really well done on the inside. Very dark, classy, and the sort of place you would want to stay a while. We dined a few tables away from a very famous musician, so it’s that sort of place that brings in an eclectic and interesting clientele. Our server Nolan was very polite and did a great job. The rest of the service staff we encountered was also really polite and professional. They offer valet parking out front for $16 or there is a parking garage behind the restaurant for $13 for 24 hours. There’s also neighborhood and street parking so finding parking won’t really be an issue.We started off the meal with the Heirloom Tomato & King Crab appetizer and it was great. Love the mix of fresh crab and fresh tomatoes. Next came a personal favorite of mine the Wagyu Beef Tartare and it was just as great as all the other times and is easily one of my favorite dishes of the restaurant. Next we shared Roasted Beet Salad and it was light, refreshing, and I especially liked how they combined golden and ruby beets plus goat cheese. For my entree I chose the 12oz Filet Mignon with a Loaded Baked Potato and a glass of Malbec. The filet was expensive @ $72, but honestly it was worth it. The taste was buttery and delicious and I ate it almost too quickly. Finally for dessert we ended the meal with a Red Velvet Bread Pudding and it was a great end to the meal.Overall a fantastic meal in a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful part of town. It can be a bit expensive, but you will get great quality in return. I would definitely recommend to anyone, especially for a special occasion or a special date. Would also be great for a business dinner as well.

Beverly Hills needed a place like this! My dear friend and I visited this restaurant on the first night they opened… which is risky as most restaurants need to work out all their kinks in the beginning, not Steak48!!! The service was incredible. As soon as we walked in, we had multiple staff greet us and when they gave us a little tour, we got to see how grand the place is. Our Waiter Canaan (my Fellow Eagles Fan) was incredible & attentive. Michelle one of the Managers was super sweet and hospitable. We had a lot of the items on the raw bar including the Lobster Cocktail, Oysters, Crab Claws and you have to order the shrimp cocktail! It was awful experience we called back to talk to the manager the next day he told my husband there was nothing he can do and that was it just had to have an awful experience. I didn’t want to make a scene because I was there with a friend so both steaks 🥩 were never eaten. The lobster 🦞 was not eaten as well. The sides were awful. No flavor whatsoever. Steak had no flavor other than raw with a bad odor on both of them, thank you steak 48 for such an awful experience I definitely would not recommend this restaurant for no one to go there unless you want a smelly raw steak and hairs. on your bread 🥖 the least they could’ve did was say come back and try us again they didn’t even do that. The only good points were the crispy shrimp and the key lime dessert . There was an off-menu dessert, and the server did not tell us about it. They dont do the typical rare, medium, etc. The server had to explain to us that their temperatures are different from what is normal. The sea bass was good, but not amazing. Everything is a la carte, and way overpriced for the quality.That said, none of the above is cause for my low rating. All 3 of us caught some kind of virus or parasite during our visit there. My mother got sick first, then myself and finally, my sister. That was the only place the 3 of us were together, so we are 100% certain that Steak 48 is the culprit. Whether it was cross contamination or a lack of sterilization or cleanliness in the kitchen or staff not washing hands, this is a serious issue. All 3 of us were violently ill for days...everything from fever and chills to nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Sorry to be graphic, but it needs to be said.I called on Monday or Tuesday and spoke with Michelle, who assured me that the manager, Jimmy, would get back to me that night or the following day. Well, that did not happen. The fact that no one cared enough to return my call, knowing the subject matter, is super disconcerting and disrespectful. We are are better now but far from OK. Its now been 5 days and Im still suffering. My poor mother was bed-ridden for 3 days. Were all at least 4 lbs. lighter and are left with tainted memories of my mothers 88th birthday.Suffice it to say, we will probably not be back. Its a shame for such a beautiful restaurant.Today is Friday the 26th, and I have not yet heard back from anyone! Tragic. I hope no one else gets sick.

A couple friends had mentioned to me how much they liked this restaurant so I took my wife here last weekend in hopes to find a new favorite place. The food was good, although not quite on the level of Mastros and other high end steak restaurants (steak was great but the sides, drinks and bread were all very average).The biggest issue was the service. I don’t know if it was just an off night for our server but he was almost non-existent the entire time. I had to look for him multiple times to flag him down to order drinks/food etc. Nobody refilled the water glasses other than the one time I had to flag someone down to ask.Lastly, he brought a dessert menu after we had finished eating and then literally disappeared the rest of the night. We never saw him again. We sat there for 15 minutes looking around for him and finally had to flag a different waiter down for our check (no dessert order, apparently). This was just a very odd experience overall and we won’t be back. Nowhere near the level of service/quality expected. First and last appearance for us.

This restaurant handled our last minute, late night Sunday reservation for a group that started as 6, then extended to 7, then morphed to 8 mid-dinner. The entire staff was incredibly kind & accommodating, and our waitress Mimi was (*is) a true professional. We enjoyed a private room dining experience at a sizable table tucked away from the main dining room. Everyone enjoyed their meal and I think we all thought the menu was worth coming back for. This modern steakhouse will compete with the very best of them across LA.

I made a reservation which I was late for due to traffic so that’s on me. However, the way we were treated at the door is completely unacceptable. The doorman opened the door and I informed him that we had a reservation and we are late. At the point he proceeds to just close the door in our faces. There was no “well we close the door off at this time etc etc”. I would’ve gladly accepted that response or something similar. I’ve managed in the hospitality industry for about a decade. The people you put in place at the door/host stand really set the tone of your establishment. Nothing about my experience at the door gave fine dining. It definitely gave hole in the wall club bouncer.

I think steak 48 has potential but not there yet. My NY steak I ordered med rare plus came way undercooked and was taken back to recook. A rookie mistake for a seasoned restaurant. The crispy shrimp, apparently the signature dish was not served hot, the napa salad was good but not unique. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable with semi private booth and a really cool back bar. Ill definitely come back but give them some time to improve rough areas.

This was our first time at Steak 48 and we will definitely go back again. We heard about this restaurant during our visit to a Landry’s owned steakhouse from our sever. We were exchanging notes about different steakhouses and how several years ago Landry’s took over some of the best steakhouses, Mastro’s being one of them, and how the quality for food and service for some had declined. Our server then told us about Steak 48 which is owned by the original Mastro’s owner(s). Needless to say we made a dinner reservation. The restaurant has a great ambiance and vibe. We were very pleased with the appetizers, salads, wine selections, cocktails and the steaks. The service was flawless. Highly recommend the oysters, wedge salad and dry aged bone-in ribeye.I also really appreciated the next day follow up phone call from Steak 48 thanking us for dining the day before and asking about our experience.

Its a 3 out of 5 for me. Its not quite there as a full service restaurant. Food is ok/good but not great. The bread is a bit stale and too sweet. The bone-in rib eye and filet were tasty and decently cooked but the plates are simply too hot at 500 degrees. You actually need to cool the food before eating or you will burn your tongue. The creamed corn was yummy. The chocolate cake for dessert was way too sweet...one bite and i had to wash it down with luke warm stale coffee. Waiter/service staff is clearly inexperienced although nice and hospitable. And the music playing was so odd....one minute it was playing Michael Jacksons Bad and then a country hit....just not the right choice. I prefer Mastros to Steak 48 by a mile.

They are using some sort of online scheduling tool that strips hours from already given shifts. Management is full of racist who dont know what the hell they are doing. First off, the waiter will try to upsell you on everything you order. Its annoying after the 5th time. Food wasn’t up to par with prices. My steak was blue raw in the middle and overly salted and they put it on a hot plate and said that it would be done cooking by the time I got to the middle which it wasn’t so I had to send it back to cook to make it medium rare instead of blue (I’m not a chef but doesn’t steak have to rest, Not finish cooking on the plate?) I ordered scallops as an appetizer but they didn’t come out in time so I cancelled the order, as our main course had already come out. There’s 4 people taking care of one table so you get asked the same question 4 times and it comes off as very unorganized. We got the rest of the food to go and after 15 mins of waiting we got up to ask a group of waiters if they had our leftovers and they all looked at me like I was crazy and didn’t say anything, so I just left. Really disappointing.
