They now have a sushi section after the construction. I tried one of the packs today (California roll/dragon roll combo). You know what, for a supermarket sushi, it’s pretty damn good . The rice was soft and everything was seasoned right. The ginger looked and tasted fresh. Will definitely be trying again.

This is my local Stater Bros. I shop here a lot. Everyone is nice and helpful, except for a lady in the meat department.I usually go in and ask whomever is behind the counter to give me the biggest thickest bone in ribeyes they see. I am serious about my steaks! And they all understand the assignment except for one lady that apparently cant be bothered to do her job and provide good customer service.Each time she tells me theyre all the same. Tonight I got her again, asked for what I always ask, looked at my daughter and said she better not say that theyre all the same... and sure enough, thats what she said with an added they cut them the same... to which I replied they are not all the same. I didnt hear it but my daughter said she laughed while saying yes they are under her breath.I proceeded to pick out 3 steaks. Then she asked me if I had asked for 2 or 3. 😒 Then she packed up 3. Another guy came behind her asking if this was hers... a steak that she had left on the side, which was one of the ones that had picked out. I decided to leave well enough alone and just walk with whatever 3rd one she had picked.Well low and behold, she picked a steak that IS NOT THE SAME!! Annoyed is an understatement. Adding pictures for reference.I will be asking for somebody else if I ever get her at the counter again. Someone that actually cares about happy paying customers.

Been getting charged for bags even if I take my own. Its an annoying having to check the receipt and holding up the line for a few cents. But its the principal. Different cashiers. Even if you have already reminded them. They will huff and puff like its my mistake every time.

My experience here has gone down. I used like shopping here. But after today and the day before yesterday. I am not coming back bad experience in the meat market the short kid that was working back there was very rude no customer service at I tried talking to him and nothing but rudeness seems like he didn’t even want to help me. Then today in the deli had no fry chicken I asked the girl she said that’s it for chicken I been to other stater’s and they have fresh chicken what they had looks like it has been there for a long time. No rotisserie chicken. Either just bad time was still early to go through this.

This was on of the best stores to shop here in Chino. It is unfortunate that corporate greed is killing the small town familiar atmosphere with a complete remodel. Along with the remodel has come extreme price increases across the board in all departments . They have lost my business.

I live in this Neighborhood for more than 10 years and it never happened to be a bit like this, the staff of the Butcher shop and the Pastry were very rude and disrespectful, I loved the changes to the store but I consider what the staff needs, layering for the customer service.

We just left this stater bros and this is the second time they made us bag our own things. My husband asked if this is normal as everyone else had a bagger and the bagger that was there before left as soon as we came up and stood off to the side with the other baggers. She over charged us 6 bags when my husband only used 2. Came back in to get my money back. Its only 40 cents but noticed when I came in our line had a bagger as did everyone elses. We asked our cashier if this is normal and she said yes its normal for everyone to bag there own things. Our cashier was Emily. Also to note there was a spill on the baby isle. I almost slipped and fell. My husband went to go notify the front. No one seemed to care or bat an eye.

Im not sure whats going on at this location. But, the kids at the meat counter have zero clue. Asked for a specific steak and was told they serve whats on top, that we dont get to pick and choose.Went back another day and asked for a pork loin. He said they dont carry that!Sorry Stater Bros, Im done!

Stater has the best rib eye steaks. However my last purchase left me not wanting to come back to this location. I bought 4 steaks coming out to a little but over 50 bucks. I prep them to grill but something isnt right. I cook one up for lunch and the taste is off. Im not a grill master but I can season and grill a steak. My friend comes over for dinner and want to season his own steak. Pulls it out the refrigerator and he figured it out. The steaks are slimy and have a slight funky smell that I wasnt able to pick up on. Left a real bad taste

I went there and the cashier was nice, good customer service from her. She asked me about bags, I said I needed them. I had a few things like orange juice and eggs. The problem was the person that bags the groceries, asked me if I wanted bags? I just finished telling cashier I needed bags, so why did she ask again? So I explained why I needed the bags, I did not have a cart, so this is why I need the bags I thought it would be obvious, but instead of just getting a basket or just understanding I need bags. Bagger She rolled her eyes and had a demeanor of bad attitude, I told her thank you after she bagged my stuff. There is no need to treat a customer like that, especially being in customer service, people dont want carry there eggs and orange juice in there hand!!!! And no need for bad attitude especially during the holidays! Makes for bad service. I will not be returning, I can just go to Stater Bros in another city!

Very clean and pretty big for a stater bros. Lots of items can be found at a discount or coupon price. You can see the security measures taken to prevent theft. Most of all, the employees actually looked pretty happy. None of that Depressed grocery store employee look here. Overall, a positive environment for both customers and employees.

For the most part they are quick with their checkout so I am not wasting a lot of time in line. They also have really good deals on some things I need, but the only thing is that they dont always have it in stock. They are really good at giving rain checks. I find it to be a reasonably priced supermarket for the convenience.

Stater Bros. has been one of my favorite markets over the years due to excellent meat, produce, quality and prices. They seem to get it all right as the grocery market industry is very competitive but Staters has stood the test of time. My brother even worked for a short time at this particular store many, many (LOL) years ago. The employees here are really nice and I also greatly appreciate there is a very clean restroom that is available for customer use upon asking for the lock code.

I love shopping at Stater Brothers. Every store is laid out in approximately the same fashion and things are pretty easy to find. Stater Brothers Chino is no exception. The employees are courteous and helpful and the store is very clean. This location is situated in the area where we live so it’s an easy drive there. I would definitely recommend checking out this Stater Brothers store.

I have been shopping Stator for close to 20 years. I mainly go for the meat department as it has some of the best cuts at reasonable pricing. I visited the Chino Stators to pick up some Ribeye steaks today 11/13/20. I found the meat department lacking in good availability and service. The meat in the case was limited in choice and cut poorly, fat is flavor I get it, but by the time I trimmed the fat a bit I was surprised at what was remaining to grill. Don’t get me wrong I will go to get meat at Stators . Just Not this Stators.

May 4th 2022.I just entered to ;purchase a few item and some of them were from the Digital Deals. When I arrived to Cashier Daylene, her and the bagging associate where chatting along about work issues. That was fine with me but it kept Daylene unfocus on my purchasing needs. i attempted in putting my membership phone number to receive the digital coupon offers but it looked like she overlooked on accepting it on her monitor. I noticed until i got home that the deals were not deducted to my total. I am not going back for a dollar. Stater Bros need their associate cashiers focused not gossiping. Thank youNew entry regarding Stater Bros Associates. You need the younger associates to atop wearing their iPhone and Android watches. They tend to cater to those instead of their customer needs. Also, you need more cashiers on the floor. Its becoming very disappointing when I have to decide if I would like to wait in line to patronize the store or go somewhere else. Every thing is great ...especially the meat dept. The two young associates for tge last two days were attentive to my needs.Thank you and be safe out there.Honestly, the deli should be removed for several reasons. 1. You never can find associates...they are busy xgating it up in the back where u cannot see them. 2. Buying chicken is unbelievable. There is never enough or the type of chicken is not available..like baked and you have to wait about 15 to 25 minutes for them to make more or they direct you to the endcap where the whole chicken is on display. 3. Not having the items to make a sandwich. The meat for a italiano sub.. Not all the meets are there or the fresh baked Artesano bread to even make the sandwich. Its the foundation of the sandwich. I propose just increase the meat. Or seafood department... Very disappointed today at States Bros Meat Dept.😠😠😠When Im shopping at Stater Bros I take a glance yo see which employees are working. The reason is the more distinguished and experience associates have great customer service and are friendly to all your shopping need...but when I see the younger associates...they are working but missing the customer service part....all they do is talk about other associates and about partying and what beer they want to buy....they should be focusing more to the customer and less socializing with each other. I try to go in the mornings more that a when I see better customer service...maybe they need some guidance from a professional associate. As a regular customer I was very disappointed. Took my son to use the Laboratory as we’re drying our hands a manager with black combed hair uses the stall and walked out without washing his hands. Did not get a name nor a chance to confront him as I didn’t see him for the rest of my shopping. Finished grabbing dinner for my kiddo to see only two scanners open and a line filled with fellow concerned shoppers. Which seems to be THE standard after the head managers leave Chaos.
