2017-02-01 20:08:05My agency has worked with StarKart for years. I have been dealing with their team directly for the past 3 years. They are a pleasure to work with and always more than accommodating to my needs. Their graphics department is excellent and my rep always goes above and beyond to make sure Im happy with the final product. I have never had to wait more than 6 hours for someone to get back to me. The altogether turnaround as a whole is unlike most advertising companies Ive worked with!

2018-01-12 16:16:20The company is very shady. The salesperson, who I believe is Scott Jay, was very (and unnecessarily) aggressive. He demanded that I sign up that day. I told him that I do not make rash decisions. After, I refused to sign up, he lowered the price. After I refused to sign up again, he acted like a bad ex-girlfriend. He told me that he has bent over backwards to provide me with a good price and that he has many other potential clients to call and cannot waste time with me if I could not make a decision. I told him that I did not like pushy salespeople. He responded by telling me that hell call me back in two days, but that he hopes I understand that he will not be following up with me to determine if I was interested, if I did not sign up by then. The tone of his voice and his demanding sales tactics did not sit well with me. I do not like being forced to make decisions, which involve a 6-month commitment without the chance to process the information and/or conduct research. If a company treats you this poorly and tells you that they do not have time to waste on you before they even sign you up, can you imagine how they will treat you once you are a client? Steer clear and invest your money on a company that will treat you with the respect that you deserve.

2020-01-08 22:39:39I have been a client with Starkart on my advertisement for years, but until now I did not need a whole lot of handholding. However, I changed my advertisement and it needed something to enhance the visibility of the Ad. Courtney Abercrombie took the level of service to a new heights! She quickly got back to me with multiple ideas of enhancements to make my final Ad look superior. Her creative ideas, personality, thoroughness and follow through is why people use companies...its the people! Thank you Courtney!

2017-09-03 16:27:29Crooks thru and Thu. I advertised w Starkarts, signed a contact, spent thousands of Dollars. in Dublin Ca at Safeway store. It was not my area but an effort to break into a neighboring area. It didnt work out. So Year was up, I called to cancel. The same guy Id spent hrs w designing my ad. He instructs me to write an email to cancel. I did. in email, I said I would be open to discussing another year contract if they had an opening in one of my other markets. I didnt hear back so I assumed it was over. My parents live in Dublin & shopped regularly at that Safeway. The placards with my ad disappeared. It was about 14 months later I changed bookkeeper and discovered that Starkarts had been continuing to siphon money out of my account. Thousands! They took over $4000 over the course of the year. So I called them. They explain that they A. Never got my email cancelling the contract. And in the same conversation told me that they switched my advertising to Newark Safeway. Hmmm. I only wrote them one email. It said I quit Dublin, dont renew, but will consider another area. It gets worse. The sales lady called me and insists she and I had a conversation on the phone where we agreed to shift the advertising to Newark for another year. I called her out for her lies and she hung up on me. Still it gets worse. Then the manager tells me that she can prove it because they always take photos after each install and they have a years worth of photo evidence that the ads were placed at the Newark Safeway. I live in Newark. Its a small town. Im well known in Newark, I shop at that Safeway. So Im sure someone would have seen them had they been there. I asked her to send me the proof then. She sent me photos of cluster of carts w my ad on them.1. It was the ad I ran inn Dublin with a 925 area code. A special number I had activated fir Dublin. Had I agreed to moving my ads to Newark, that would has e been the first thing I would change. Newark is a 510 area code. K2. All their proof photos were on Safeway shopping carts at my local Safeway store. Beautiful black shinny carts that had only just been set out that month. Yes, for the prior decade we had an entirely different old carts. But they swore those ads had been there all year.These people are liars and go to great lengths to cover their mistakes. Made absolutely NO effort to do anything to fix the error. They did not say, gee were sorry, we cant give you youre money back it was a mistake but you took to long to notice. Let us make it up to you. Nope, they lied, and conspired and went to great lengths to document their lies. I would watch my back if you get into any deal with them.
