They didn’t ask my name for the order, didn’t offer or ask what kind of milk, they didn’t call me for my order, didn’t offer me sugar or anything for my coffee, and they have everything behind the counter so I had to ask them to get what I needed.Aren’t these supposed to be standard service at any Starbucks?

This location gets cranking when busy. When I came in, they were extremely busy and I did have a bit of a wait. The staff, however, was epic, and were cranking out order after order in spite of. The store is clean, and fully stocked with all the goods you are looking for when you come to a SB.I am traditionally not a fan of large, corporate coffee brands, as they tend over process and over roast their beans. I was doing my daughter a favor, however, and satisfying her craving for a caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino. For me personally, this is a no go, as I am not into all that sweetness. For her, the drink was perfect. It was well blended without clice chunks that one sometimes gets when they order.For me, I grabbed an iced latte. This batch was actually not bad at all. Beans did not have that over roasted burnt taste, thus, was pleasantly surprised.The only negative thing to share about this site is the infrastructure on the outside. The driveway and parking is extremely tight, small, and overcrowded. It is hard to navigate if you have a large vehicle. Additionally, there is no drive through, thus, with limited parking, and people coming in and out to take their orders to go, it is slightly inconvenient.

Oh my lucky stars!! I believe this particular Starbucks has been birth directly from Seattle, WA. I call it The Barn simply because its as big as one! Its uniquely constructed w/ organic compounds, green building standards, along w/ oxygen breath-taking succulents, cozy private nooks, mural size paintings, an ambiance of peace/tranquility. Now, the awesome employees that run this quaint, relax, enjoy your stay, however long it may be are...Nate, aka Cross; he bares on his wrist, as he represents humbleness & joy, while serving top notch beverages, w/o neglect to even a utensil w/ your toasted tomato-basil panini. Wendy, aka Beautiful Dragonfly; as she resembles the fastest insect on this planet, 60 mph, attentively working non-stop w/ a genuine meek Spirit. Trista, aka Sergeant; she melts your heart w/ the most welcoming, vibrant smile. I had to shake her hand, thanking her for her courage/bravery serving our country. If it werent for ppl as her, I dont know whered we be. And, Robyn, aka Intellectual Jewel, her demeanor is absolute exuberance at best! I love this Starbucks! Ive been planted here for the last week, and, the only animal Spirit missing, is my American Paint Horse!! ~Poca

Starbucks on Shawline Rd. and Clairemont Mesa Blvd is always busy but very efficient and has a very friendly staff. This is one of my favorite stores. ITS NOT A DRIVE THRU, even though it looks like one and the building is set up to drive around. Lots of parking, good seating and as always, the food, coffee and service lives up to Starbucks standards. The management there is superb and friendly. Convenient location. Nice outside sitting area but inside has a lot of seating too. I really love the full bodied flavor of Starbucks coffee as well as their branding. If you’re a SB fan and looking for a convenient location with great service this is the place.

If you drive avoid parking here like it is cancer. Parking lot is one way in or out with no drive thru. Cars get jammed up to get in or out the same entrance. Advise parking across the street and playing frogger across busy Tamarack instead.

Picking up an Uber eats order, stood at the mobile section at a not-busy Starbucks counter for well over 2 minutes. The guy with the dark curly hair was making a couple of drinks, the girl named Clara was following him around and talking about how important somebody or something named Bubblegum on TikTok was. Neither made anything resembling eye contact or made any effort to acknowledge my existence. I finally asked, in an annoyed voice, whether them was going to acknowledge my existence. Clara immediately looked like a beaten dog, hoping it would get her out of trouble, without even saying anything. The dude somewhat apologized, and handed me the two bags that had been sitting there on the counter (with the names facing away from me) and verified that everything was there. He fails at customer service for lacking any effort to greet or acknowledge a customer, Clara just fails entirely. I am pretty tolerant of service levels at places, this was pretty inexcusable.

Love this location interior. Very spacious and tall ceiling makes it very comfortable. Disadvantage is parking, hard to get in and out and not much parking, but still go there all the time. The baristas are very nice, love to sit by their counter and watch them work, and chit chat with them when they are not busy.

This location is real bad about closing randomly. Besides the terrible parking situation I’ve personally walked up to the door 4-5 times on any given day to find the door locked. We’re talking at noon on a Saturday or 1pm on a weekday. The worst is when the kids are in there laughing like I’m the bad guy for trying to grab an over priced expresso. Unreliable therefore the most useless coffee shop in the area. Sorry not sorry.

Service and staff was excellent. Typical Starbucks experience. Not too many people when I️ went (thanksgiving afternoon), and my barista served me what I️ asked for in a timely manner. The bathrooms were very clean, but they didn’t have a baby changing station unfortunately. Kind of bummer since my best friend had to change her baby’s diaper.

This was my first time to this Starbucks location. It is literally just off the 5 freeway on Tamarack Avenue. It is a very nice newer facility that is very spacious and comfortable inside. Parking was not an issue on my visit, but I can see that on a busy day it could be.I had a Vanilla Bean Frappucchino with extra caramel drizzle and it was excellent. They have a very prompt and friendly staff.

Awkward location. We chose this as our morning stop since we were headed North from San Diego. The parking lot is one way in, one way out and got terribly congested! No drive-thru. We had to park across the street and run across 5 lanes of traffic. The store is huge and clean but a little slow.

Okay, its a Starbucks. What can you expect other than the standard fare and drink that you normally find at a Starbucks. The place was clean, and service was quick. Coffee was as expected. The main critique of this place is that the parking lot is very cramped and there were insufficient spaces for all of the cars that were parked there. Many of the spaces are reserved for people who are ordering and picking up, as they will bring the drink to the car.

Big BIG thank you to Jillian and the staff working today for going above and beyond expectations! They remade my drink after it got attacked by crows, but today was the day I dropped my husband off for the military so I was feeling very emotional (yes, the drink being attacked was the icing on top of my emotional cake).You guys were angels in green aprons... I came in and explained what happened and how my day was going, holding back tears, and Jillian gave me a hug and told me everything was going to be okay. All 3 workers were super sweet and made my day SO much better from one small trip in.

I used to frequent Starbucks all the time when they hit their Prime in the era of the Starbucks boom (ie early 2000s I believe). I have not been back in over 10 years until a couple days ago. I ordered the vanilla bean Frappuccino, my old favorite by the way with whipped cream and caramel on top. I was not horrified but it didnt give me a happy sense of nostalgia nor did it have a new wow factor. It certainly wasnt easy on my pocketbook either. A small or as starbucksinians would say, tall Frappuccino had gone up about a dollar fifty per shot from when I had last had one a decade ago. Honestly the best part was the Venti ice water to go I took with me. Starbucks has always had their own fantastic filtration system and a giant cup of water is both refreshing and free. I guess marketing those would not keep them in business unfortunately. A little late prediction: the end of the Starbucks age is upon us and for good reason 😒
