Ok, so my car Broke down by the Descanso Ave San Marcos location. But before I started the search for a cheap tow service, I walked over to Starbucks to get a coffee. I was super hungry and upset about my car -I mentioned what happened to the cashier/ Barista- and do you know what he said? He said my coffee was on him! And then he bought me a sandwich too! He probably wasnt even aware of how this simple kindness that hed shown me affected me... All I could say was, thank you so much- then he said- bad stuff is gonna happen, so youre gonna need some good stuff to happen as well.. (I may have reworded it a little bit, but its pretty much what he said). I agreed but had to turn away a bit so he wouldnt see me cry🥹 he really changed my whole mood. I know this was long, but I had to tell ppl what an amazing soul this angel named CHRIS has that works at the Starbucks on Descando Ave, by the 78 highway in San Marcos.They are way too few humans that show they care for other humans these days- so it just fills my heart with hope, faith, and a lil bit of joy to receive such kindness and compassion. God bless you and thank you Chris. Keep spreading love kindness, and light- because theres so much more hate out there now. The world Needs so many more souls out there like you. ✨😇🥰🙏

My favorite Starbucks in the whole woooorld!! This is what we mean when we ask for extra caramel!! They always get the order right the first time and everyone is super friendly. Quick service!! Seriously the bestest everrrrrrrr. Period.

I go there like 3 times a week and everyone there is super friendly the beverages always taste great.I used to go there three times a week but this particular location has the worst sliding scale schedule. You could walk up to the window and be actively ignored by employees who cant take a minutes out of their unbreakable task of stuffing straws into a dispenser to tell you that theyve been closed for 15 minutes or closing early due to lack of customers. This is a multi-billion dollar company you think they invest in a $5 sign that posts visibly the hours of operation or just a closed/open sign.⭐️Update.....⭐️Im deleting most of the negative review since theres been some substantial improvements in customer service. This establishment has become a place where I want to pay for overpriced coffee once again however they still need and hours of operation sign

This is my favorite Starbucks! And, lucky for me, it’s the closest one to my house! All the staff are sweet. They always provide the best service. The drinks are on point!

Walk up slow while the drive-through moves faster. Theyre so busy they dont call your name when order is ready at the walk up window. You need to check on it. Get the same coffee at a more friendly Starbucks location.

This location is typically great, but they recently changed staff. I walked up to the pickup window and a girl who was standing there on her phone looked at me then continued looking at her phone....even after knocking on the window I was ignored for a good 2min. Finally opened the window with no hello or anything. Really disappointing service.

I had the best experience here. When i pulled up to pay for my daily dose of coffee all the girls that were there this morning had big smile and were all in great moods, I LOVED IT! Jessica was the one who rang me up and had a great sense of humor which made my day😃 Will definitely be coming here every morning for my coffee!

I have ordered my lunch here and at least 3 times I place my mobile order and when I get to the window, they don’t have my order. And it’s not just one thing. I understand they are busy but can they update their site so I am not waiting or trying to figure out what to have because they don’t have what I want? Very inconvenient. They did give me a gift card for the inconvenience this last time. But would be nice to have what I actually want to eat.
