This Starbucks took over a large portion of the old Ruby’s and is huge inside! Clean, modern and plenty of leg room to enjoy a good cup of Joe or a delicious beverage. Staff was moderately friendly in this location, nothing screaming, hey you’re awesome and I love my job, but that rare in any Starbucks these days. I prefer to take my purchases outside and partake in the beautiful courtyard area near the fountain or take a stroll around the gorgeous mall with my drink. Great location, just a decent walk from one side of the mall to the other if you don’t start on this side. But overall, good spot.

Ive been to Starbucks hundreds of times, but this is the first time Ive been compelled to review one. They dont know what light ice means, and when they remade my drink they trolled me with 4 tiny ice cubesOther locations I dont have this issue

This has to be the slowest Starbucks in town.Its big, its beautiful, but I came here on a Friday night and the same people were standing in front of me in line for so long that I just mobile ordered and got out of line. Im pretty sure I was walking out the door before all of them ordered. The employees were moving with zero sense of urgency whatsoever, it was actually kind of shocking.I ended up there the following weekend and I was the first person in line, so the wait wasnt that bad. But the cashier had to be the most unfriendly person Id encountered all day, she definitely hates her job.3 stars only because they did a great job making my drink both times, it was exactly the way I like it. The actual baristas are great, its just the first line of defense there that needs a lot of work.

Its a Starbucks so you can expect a consistent experience with the drinks and the service. Considering how busy this location is the service is fast and the tables are quite clean. I consider this location a must-visit when I at the Spectrum.

So,…. One of my pet peeves is when people bring their pets into a food location. What’s worse is it it’s unleashed. What’s worse is if they carry it,.. toss it over and over in the air RIGHT OVER THE FOOD - and staff do nothing.I would not eat or use this location if they think it’s okay for people to have their pet immediately over food areas and food prep and food service areas - like the guy had the animal in the air right over the food area and counter.Yuk. Really. Yuk.I get it that the entitled feel they way they do,.. but businesses MUST stop allowing people to endanger the health of its customers by allowing pets all over food pre areas.I was shocked. He was literally tossing the dog in the air over the uncooked food,.. people grinding coffee and food prep,.. milk, dairy, almond milk,..Omg.I watched them with the unleashed dog,.. then had him in the store,.. carried him in the store,.. tossing the dog in the air,.. playing catchI LOVE MY DOG - but I would NEVER have him on top of my food. Nor would I carry him in my kitchen or over my food.Pets in Food areas should not be allowed. Period.

Walk up location at the Irvine Spectrum. They do not have a drive thru. But they do have indoor and outdoor seating and a view of a ice fountain to sit and sip your drink in front of.

It’s a Starbucks, what do you expect? The drink and food quality is exactly what you expect, and the decor and design is very interesting and very cool. However, they do lose one star because the layout and space isn’t exactly effectively used, and while it doesn’t necessarily have to be, I feel like it’s not great for collaborating or chatting while sitting here, nor is it good for remote work here. The WiFi speeds are fast enough but the seating layout is strange enough that it makes it hard to work with.

I have been to Starbucks in at least 10 states and at least 50 different Starbucks in CA. The worse line I have ever experienced. I know minimum wage is preferred but this crew should at least have been given some training.

Its the people and the spirit of the people that made this place busy,one day they will decide it is enough and really start going somewhere else, big space with great location, poor staff customer service and not keeping up with the number of clients,and adding the carelessness of the end results(taste and quality) will equal the result that most people have specially in the weekend nights.The girl who makes the drinks spells leftovers from old drinks in new cups that are definitely not the same flavor, one cashier leaves 16 customer waiting in line to order and very slowly moves around to do nothing important as nit leaving people waiting.Bathrooms need attention its just looks like this location does not belong to a franchise,and everyone does what they want.

I have never been disappointed by the drinks or food products at a Starbucks, unless they were out of what I wanted... But I dont hold that against them. The Starbucks near the Regal cinema at the Spectrum is large, well decorated and designed to handle a decent crowd. The staff is nice and quick with orders. Also they have a new tip on card system which I like drive I rarely carry cash.

Overall I’m genuinely not mad about my experience because I have worked in customer service but The workers at this Starbucks had a lot of attitude and A bad vibe. So basically me and my close friend walked in and we asked a question to the worker, she answered very Blandly and went on with whatever she was doing. There was about five other people in the store and they were just on the computers, so it wasn’t like they were packed or anything. She took our order and she was just rude and acted like she didn’t wanna be there. After this we waited for a bit and I went back to the counter and asked for ice water. The lady looks in my eyes and takes a Cup from the counter that was filled with some thing and dumped it out into the sink, Which is very unsanitary and weird. She fills the cup then hands me it while rolling her eyes. Like I understand if we ordered some thing very complicated but it was just a simple cup of water. My advice to the Starbucks workers is if you don’t want to work there get another job. Starbucks makes some peoples day and if you’re gonna be rude it’s not even worth it.

As someone who enjoys a good cup of coffee, I can say that Starbucks has a lot to offer. The variety of drinks on their menu is impressive, and I appreciate the consistency in quality and taste from store to store. The atmosphere of Starbucks cafes is also a big draw for me - I appreciate the comfortable seating, the free Wi-Fi, and the overall ambiance, which makes it a great spot to work or socialize. While the prices at Starbucks can be on the high side, I do think that the quality of their products and the overall experience make it worth the occasional splurge. Overall, I would definitely recommend Starbucks to any coffee lover, even if the prices can be a bit steep.

I have honestly never had a bad experience at a Starbucks until I came to this one, after telling the cashier about my order wrongfully made and getting the remake it was still incorrect. The one who made both drinks was Jake he gave a annoyed looked when they had told him that it was wrongly made after he remade the order he never even called out my name for the drink I had to go ask about it cause it was taking a while to be called out when I received it I let him know that it was still missing the foam he roughly snatched the drink out of my hand and proceeded to finish making my drink Starbucks is supposed to be known for their friendliness and kindness not this type of treatment seriously worse worse Starbucks location ever.

Mentioned that it opened at 8:00 a.m. Tried to order ahead but was not able to. I was around the corner so I decided to just show up; the time was 8:10 a.m. The doors were locked. I get it, sometimes things happen and your not able to open on time. The thing is that the staff was inside and saw myself and a few other try to enter. Fast quick service. The staff seems to be over worked especially due to the large amount of people that come through. They are a little short tempered at times. However, they are accommodating.There is seating outside and a few wall outlets for 2 of the 3 tables inside.The Starbucks is located across the Edwards theater and can get crowded and busy all throughout the day. Ive only visited during the weekend so I cant account for how it is during the weekdays.

Mocha Frappuccino is Great !!! However, they need to clean the place! The tables, chairs, stairs, and patio are filthy!!!! Please Starbucks, address this. The sitting areas need to be cleaned. I’ve been to this location four times in the past week - one time on a Sunday, following a Saturday night in which the place was packed, and no one had cleaned the stairs sitting area. I told the employees, nicely, and they said thank you for telling us. But when I went back later that day, no one had done anything! How about a check list that says “quickly wipe off the tables, chairs, stairs, and patio” ?

I was having a rather challenging day today from a very long week w work and life in general and decided to try and calm my restless nerves w watching a movie at the spectrum. Along the way I rolled my beaten self into the Starbucks and ran into an amazing trio of personality. A guy named Greg helped me out w some snacks I was bringing into the movies and had such an amazing presence outgoing personal and an overall happy welcoming humorous vibe that immediately cheered me up. Upon last several visits on Friday and Saturday nights I found this location to be grossly understaffed. Only one register open on such busy nights with the line out if the door is ridiculous. New staff is very slow, take so long to take each order, other baristas arent even busy cause they dont have any drinks waiting to be made. But instead of helping at the register, they stand around and chat. Remember the sloth from Zootopia? Well, this Starbucks is a real life version. Where is management? Service used to be fast here, but not anymore. Highly disappointed that this high traffic location has gone downhill.

Coming here at 4:00pm on a Tuesday and tried to redeem a $4 Starbucks card because last time I went to Starbucks, they messed up our order. The card wasnt working, and the cashier asked the manager if he could just take the money off. Please teach your baristas the difference between a Cappuccino and a Latte. I asked the barista to remake my cappuccino because it was topped with milk. She did not like the fact that I asked for another one.I watched her make the second one and she does not know how to make them! She just kept pouring milk and never poured the necessary foam to make it a cappuccino. So I ended up with a latte again and I had to throw it out!

**NEW INFO** Fellow StarBucks goers, this location might be getting moved! Today 5/4 I noticed Rubys burgers across next to theaters is gone and the new SB coming soon partition is up. So I assume SB might shut this location down? Also agreed location is understaffed, small, 2 tables inside. The service Ive received has been moderate, no big complaints. They pointed out a close mall restroom for me today also. Sad for Rubys :( but happy :D for a newer larger SB on the theater side of the mall. *TIP* Im inside Target as I write this, I know opposite side of mall. But 2x size for seating and restrooms and you can do any Target shopping you have an itch for... why not come over to the SB inside over here? Isnt life compromises sometimes?

Okay listen up. I work at the Irvine Spectrum and I work hard. I used my app last week to order a coffee and it went through and took 5 dollars out of my account. It went from $8.00 to $3.00. I went to go pick it up and the barista said it wasn’t “In their system.” I showed her that my money went down and tried to ask to get one anyways, because that’s literally what you’re supposed to do. That’s called customer service. But, she refused because it “didn’t show on their computer” or “in their system” and only on my phone. I needed that coffee for that shift and honestly that was a super bad move on your guys’ part. You need to work on customer service. I lost $5. Which seems like nothing, but to me it was since I got nothing in return.
