Coffee taste as expected for any Starbucks however the refresher we also purchased didnt seemed blended at is should. It looked like a pink drink with dehydrated strawberries on top. The blender seemed to be broken as no Frappes were being made. The barrista mentioned a part fell out.This is a rather small location. Parking is rather difficult to find. They valet for one hour.Service could be improved at this Starbucks location. The appearance of the barristas here are not up to par. No typical Starbucks attire is worn here.During our visit, I didnt feel safe as an individual seemingly on drugs came into the lobby disheveled and partly losing his pants. Security is need in this area.

I’ve never encountered anything like this until today. I went in and got a Grande Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso LIGHT ICE. Please see the drink in the first pic the barista Angel made. I later asked him to add more milk in it since the drink was barely full. He started to explain how that’s normal since I asked for light ice. I told him I’ve been ordering the same drink everywhere and it was never like this. He insisted I DO NOT UNDERSTAND and told me to stop yelling as I was just trying to explain to him. He remade the drink and I asked to speak to the manager. AND Angel was the manager(Of course lol) He told me if I don’t wanna talk to him regarding that I could call 1800STARBUCKS. I did make a complaint against Angel. I did not want to have to call the hotline if he didn’t give me such bad attitude. The most absorb thing was, my boyfriend went in the SAME STARBUCKS to get A drink 20mins later. He ordered a shaken espresso with light ice as well. And the second pic was the drink he got. Full size drink. SO, I’d like to figure out what really happened

Their bathroom was “out of service” but I saw an employee using it…. Pretty lame. Given that the Starbucks menu is the same everywhere, I recommend choosing one that doesn’t lie to their customers.

Fast and friendly. Order was perfect and in a timely manner. This particular Starbucks is perfectly situated in Little Tokyo with area a outside for hanging out, although the dim lighting inside is very soothing and inviting for hangout as well, hopefully after the pandemic shutdown. Overall a great place!

The inconsistency of this place is actually incredibly disappointing and annoying. I order sweet cream foam on my drink, and the foam is either barely there, or, if it is there, they barely blended it so it’s basically just a layer of milk on top. I work at Starbucks too and I would never serve that to a customer. My drink is literally so easy, get it right.

Arrived to downtown by metro I picked Starbucks assuming I will be able tu charge my phone after long trip but to my surprise all wall power outlets are blocked and sealed as if on purpose having coffee and not be able to charge phone ? Now I have to leave rush to find alternative spot contribute to traffic and stress just because management decided to eliminate option to charge phone how great !!!

I went there like 3 times there. The closest washroom I could go to while gallivanting at Little Tokyo. Which is really a good thing because I also happen to love their coffee. A bit pricey than the rest but its always worth it to visiting. I like their set up too, relaxing after a tiring walk at the plaza.

Like McDonalds, you will find this place everywhere. The drip coffee is preferable to the numerous over sugared-calorie laden insta beverages. If you need a quick cup of coffee and have a about 20 minutes to kill, wait here for coffee.

This Starbucks closes dine-in area way earlier than their closing time. You will not allowed to have seat an hour and half before their closing time. (perhaps more than 2 hours)Google should add their dine-in time to avoid people’s confusing.They build a barricade the area for the customers not to enter. Moreover, they don’t care the customer in the area, and start sweeping dust flying right next to sitting customer that makes extremely uncomfortable.I want Tierra Mia Cafe or Monarca Bakery here.

Its a Starbucks, so the food and the coffee are just like all the other branches. Or, rather, its as good as it should be; they dont screw anything up. The key thing with this branch is that its super busy because three branches nearby all closed recently, and now everyone comes here. But the staff handles it beautifully. Theyre extremely efficient, and theyre polite and warm even when its crazy. But this isnt a branch for hanging out and reading. As I said, its busy, but its also pretty small and the architecture doesnt allow for much natural light or space to spread out. But if you need some coffee and a sandwich on the way to work, its perfect. Also, parking is free with validation, and thats pretty much unheard of in LA.

Its a Starbucks, so theres only so much difference between branches. This one is quite efficient, which is good because its so busy after three other branches in the area were shut down. Theres not much space to sit and what there is seems less inviting than most branches. Because of the area, there are lots of cops getting coffee, which Im sure some people find comforting and others will not feel the same way. Im not sure why Starbucks also has hired armed security guards, and that makes me feel *less* safe, but I guess whoever is in charge is under the impression that more guns will lead to less violence, which *all* evidence shows to be false.

Friendly helpful staff. If you park in the former Office Depot parking lot, you get one free hour of parking with validation from Starbucks. Service was fairly quick. Love their almond croissant, but price seemed a little high.

A difficult place to read. I was in Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles and had a few hours between meetings so I wanted to get some work done. Google listed this location as the nearest Starbucks. Okay I had walked past it in the past. But first time inside. What a horrible little space! It was close to 80 degrees as a sun poured in through the tall untinted west facing windows. The air conditioning was minimal in that customer space as well, it turns out because the worker space has most the ducting and they were actually freezing! Starbucks, its called balancing air conditioning. I have done it in multiple of my offices and it can be done as easily and simply as a carboard square blocking unnecessary ducts, forcing more air flow to the outer area which is the customer area! Theres also a thing called window tinting which could drop the ambient temperature 10 to 15° in your west-facing 20 ft High windows! Otherwise the space is tough as it feels like a dank cave with poor lighting and they have blocked all of the electric outlets so I could not recharge my devices. I had enough charge, but if I didnt I would have been unable to complete the work I needed to do. Starbucks if youre listening this is how companies go out of business. You cannot keep cutting back Services while expecting me to give you my money.Also Starbucks I want you to pay attention. Your staff at this location was fantastic. They knew about all the shortcomings, the terrible bathroom situation and they had a problem with it and a karen! Despite this and everything else wrong with it they were still smiling and doing their best keep the customer satisfied. You need to make sure that those people are rewarded properly. In a separate note I will be contacting Starbucks Administration mostly to compliment their staff and particular the one suffering young woman who patiently put up with the all this, handling some inappropriate customers very well, and kept me occupied and happy trying her best. I hope Starbucks you appreciate how hard your employees are working for your game and return them the little favor of fixing their workspace. Because they certainly deserve it. And without these workers this would have been a one star because I cant give zero.

I bought a drink and and needed to use the restroom. I asked for a code to the restroom when I picked up my drink and the lady told me that I had to wait in line again and asked the cashier because only the cashier knows the code to the restroom. So I went to get the code to the restroom from the cashier, once I got it I rushed in the restroom and I still had to wait. Once the restroom became available I quickly rushed inside because I had been holding it for a while now. Some time passed by and I had been in the restroom for a while. When I was finally done using the restroom I opened the door to leave and the manager is waiting there to tell me that I have a limited time to use the restroom. I tried to reason with her and explain to her that my digestive system can’t be rushed and it’ll come out at the rate it wants to come out. That caused the manager to became robotic and began repeating herself as if now that she’s reiterated the words that she was taught by corporate, or whoever, that now she have permanently changed my digestive nature training it to be on the time system that she prefers smh…terrible customer service, rude employees and bad attitudes smh…

Very friendly and efficient staff, excellent drinks and they are quick to clean up after sloppy patrons. The team communicates quickly and accurately to help each other when trying to accommodate for specific tastes, such as when I requested something minty, and are very upbeat. My only complaint would be that at the time of this review there was no background music playing, giving it a tad of dead air. Staff is fantastic though!

This Starbucks is great. It is very neat and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restrooms are well kept. Their wifi connection is actually about 2-3 times faster than most other restaurants connections which I verified with a speed meter. And its location is in the heart of everything downtown. And their foods and beverages are always fresh.

If I could give zero stars I would,my wife had to use their restroom and they told her that they were cleaning them and that it would take half hour so we waited.The half hour passed and an employee told my wife and 3 other woman in line that it would take another 30 minutes and proceeded to laugh that they were still waiting .My wife complained to the employee wich she proceeded to only say “not my problem,the manager is right there” unprofessional staff don’t even bother visiting this location

This is Java Headquarters for me. its still my favorite Starbucks to go to but I am editing my last review mostly due to change of staff and other situations . Homeless are still a problem but on the plus side for me at least is the two attractive and professional women that i got comfortable with since day one are still there but everyone had their schedules adjusted after the holidays. the new staff seem pretty cool and efficient. Its in Little Tokyo and it opens daily at 4am and doesnt close until 1am everyday. big note no more electrical outlets since my last review they tore Then go out you better bring your own portable charger. Super friendly staff, who remember your name when you’re a regular. I come here to fill out orders for work of 6+ drinks at a time and they always provide both accurate and fast service!The parking lot is free for those who go to Starbucks or other shops in the area as well, which is perfect if you’re running errands to the local Post office and FedEx while your drinks are made.I continuously come back here because of the service and ambiance of the location.

Dirtiest starbucks doesnt live up to the brand. Bums everywhere just hoarding the area and its extra cramped in there. Drinks are ok but need to add more variety since they dont offer the full starbucks experience. And parking is hell. Just go to another starbucks because you will get a latte with a parking ticket. The bathroom was disgusting. I should say the 1 that worked. There was urine on the floor and everything was dirty. Not at all what you would expect from Starbucks. Its amazing how this place is always packed, even around 10am on a workday. But I do like the ambience at this Starbucks quite a bit, especially the barstools right by the window so I can people watch and sip my coffee at the same time. The outdoor seating is quite nice as well. Theres quite a bit more of seating inside at this location compared to typical Starbucks locations.The free Wifi definitely does SLOWS down as more people uses it.A great piece of advice is to just park in the Office Depot parking lot next to this place. You get 2 hours of free parking with validation!

This Starbucks is busy, but they had forgotten our order. We went to ask about our order after waiting 20 minutes and one of the workers snarked back at us saying their is other customers before us that will get our drinks. We had to receive a full refund after waiting 30 minutes and other customers that had arrived after us had received their drinks before us.

We happened upon this place right after going out for my friends birthday and we instantly fell for the cuteness of the food. Basically, if you put a flower on anything here in CA, that means us young adults have to go try it. It was fairly late in the evening, so they were out of the purple sweet potato tiramisu--I chose the purple sweet potato ice cream instead. Boy, does that taste like potato! Milky and refreshing, it was definitely not as sweet as I was expecting. If youre thinking kind of like taro milk tea at a boba shop, take down the sweetness a couple notches and you have the Born ice cream. I was pretty full from dinner, so I didnt have the space to fully enjoy the ice cream; Ill have to come back to savor it more, but overall, the clean simple look of this place with their simple menu has me intrigued!

Standard Starbucks, but with baristas who dont seem to care. There were three working when I stopped in and they were too involved in their conversation to walk over to the register to take my order. Two of the three saw me, but they just carried on with their conversation. One of them was cleaning and we made eye contact, but he didnt acknowledge that I was there. After a minute of standing there, I asked if I could order something. He gave me a drink for free.

The location is just ok, not all of what you come to expect really from Starbucks chains. There were no available outlets to plug in your laptop, phone, or any other device (they were literally removed, covered or nonexistent) and the charging pads builit into the table for cell phones did not work. I came for a meeting and had hoped that the location would have the these.But on the bright side the WiFi worked and the service (especially from barista Dani) was A1.

I had been in so many Starbucks branch around Los Angeles but its my first time here at South Central Avenue. I got to admit that i am a fan of their coffee for almost 4 years now most especially their beverage Frappuccino. I think i already tasted all its flavor. Can get a bit nasty with customers. Ex. Had someone come in asking for money or else he would sleep in a shelter and it hit tense. Then had another lady complaining loudly how she hated Starbucks. What is there to say, its a Starbucks! Quick clean caffeine fix from a corporate monster. They serve sandwiches, pastries, and treats for your grab and go lifestyle, or you can hang out for hours on end with a laptop writing the next block buster screen play. Dont forget, Starbucks does good teas now too, and the mobile app will save you on sales tax.

Starbucks is great, i like the new cookie crumble along with the chocolate croissant, yum! The caramel frappucino is also amazing. I go there so much Ive made a few friends, i love it because i dont even have to say a word! They know what i order by heart. I got there ten minutes after I ordered a mobil order. I wait there for another 20 minutes to get my drink. Their service sucks. During the wait, I asked one of the staff, but she was even not willing to check out why my drink is not ready. When I asked refund, they said it’s the system’s fault instead of their faults. I normally give all Starbucks, Peets, and other basic corporate coffee chains 3 stars, but this one gets 2 because there was ONE bathroom open in the middle of a major tourist location. So it was without embellishment, more than a 15 minute wait. The upside is that I met some tourists from Glasglow, Scotland and we talked about how this was the first time either of us have waited so long to relieve ourselves.Think about that: People who travel the world over have never encountered this bad of a toilet situation until they came to a corporate coffee shop in L.A. More reason to go find a local coffee shop that actually serves decent coffee and doeant punish people who need to pee.We found a local Italian coffee shop and it reminded us why we are so critical of Starbucks.
