Escondido Starbucks on Del Lago (next to McDonalds) is our favorite; great drinks made by great staff! Well go out of our way to go to this location because each experience is always incredible and the drinks have amazing flavor.

My husband and I go into this Starbucks often and also use the drive-through as well. It is by far the best Starbucks in Escondido! The staff is friendly and know us by name. It is a pleasure to go into this Starbucks every day!

I used to like this location because customer service was great and they get your drinks correctly. But currently the service has been horrible with new faces and new people who are currently working there. I always get 3 or more drinks in every order and they wouldn’t even ask if you need cup holder and when I get food with my order they also will not ask if you need bag to carry it to the point that they know my orders are to go. They don’t smile at you or give you that welcoming feeling. As soon as you walk in the counter they don’t greet you and does not ask for your name if you put in an online order to know if your drinks and food are ready, so turns out your drink and food are sitting on the counter for awhile and too bad if you get frozen drinks because they all are just melting for no reason at all when you’re there waiting to know if it’s yours. Today I Saturday 11.11.2023 I went and got 3 frozen drinks and they are melted with no taste at all. We ended up throwing them away. There was also a guy that works there with ponytail black hair who was so rude. I was waiting for a long time and when I ask is my order ready? He responded back in a rude manner, what do you want?!! I also asked for a holder, he got in and threw it on the counter in front of me! I didn’t want to make a scene at the store because that was not me. But that was a horrible way to treat a customer.

Staff have always been very friendly here. They work very fast keeping the lines moving quick, and one of the few Starbucks that don’t just add sugar when I ask for a cold brew straight black. Wanna beat lines go before 10 or wait till around 12 and after

Beautiful store, employees all are working so hard to keep up with the traffic & demand. Unfortunately the drinks & food are not always right. Ordered bacon egg bits got something else, same with drink Ordered a pumpkin latte got some watered down tea.. correct label. Unfortunately because it was the drive thru too late to turn back. 😕

This Starbucks location constantly disappoints. The baristas do not listen to their customers and always mess up the drinks. I just came back from there and they messed up my drink, twice. I kept trying to tell the barista what I wanted but he wouldn’t give me eye contact and was walking away every time I said excuse me. When I told the girl at the register I wanted a refund and why, she just stared at me and never apologized. Pretty bad customer service and a waste of time.

Dont recommend this place they dont open this store on time. Dont come here if you have somewhere to be.Im in the Air Force waited in the drive they for fifteen minutes with no response. I say m okay let me try to go inside. I open the door which is packed with 4-5 employees but nobody working the drive they or inside. I say excuse me are you all open? A guy shouts no we arent. I say oh ok what time do you open where he responds 5am. I say sir its already 5:02am and I waited in the drive they for 15 minutes because se it says you open at 5 with no response. He goes to look at the time then states well I guess you can come in and shrugs his shoulders in a rude tone Lol well excuse me for expecting you to do what your job pays you to di. Open on time Help paying customers.Not taking my business or money here. There was also someone behind me in the drive thru they didnt assist, Im in the medical field and looked forward to some yummy tea! Not recommending this business establishment.1. Lack of professionalism2. Unreliable hours say 5AM but they dont open or help people3. Bad customer etiquetteFof the owner of this business paying all the 4-5 employees to not open on time and not be available to paying customers. What are you paying them for? I went to this location on 01/04/23 at 5:30AM and waited 5 min at the drive thru for someone to take my order. After not getting a response at the drive thru, I drove up to the window and saw staff. I made eye contact with one of the ladies and she completely ignored me. Then a guy came up to the window and said they had just opened the store eventhough they open at 4AM. I didnt get a chance to ask anything before he walked away. It took about 5 min for someone to come back to me and tell me that they had limited things since they had just opened the store. I couldnt place my order since the lady said the machine was off. I ended up leaving after waiting 15 min. Communication is key and couldve just told me from the beginning so I didnt wait around. The store opened at 4AM and they had just gotten there at 5:30. Very disorganized.

Pretty long queue that seemed to drag on forever when I went a couple days ago. I dont often get starbucks, but I was going off zero sleep in 48 hours and needed a little bit of caffeine. Drink came out fine, and well made.Cashier was friendly, a bit quiet but it was early in the morning so i cant exactly blame him, especially when I paid in quarters, nickels, and dimes. Sorry about that.Location is pretty clean, and seems to have nice technology that I have not seen in other locations. Might be worth it to hire some more staff and speed up that queue in the early morning rush!

The staff are really nice. Excellent customer service. The facility, however is rubbish. Very bad accoustics make it challenging for both the customer and the barista to understand each other when making a transaction, especially when there are even just a handful of customers seated engaging in normal conversation. Outdoor seating is not the best: too close to the paking lot and drive thru, not adequately shaded. The older location south of Felicita Avenue was awesome. But Starbucks wants more $$$$. . . .

This location has always been the busiest one in Escondido. Between this one and the one near Mission. Ive only come here once and was unhappy with my drink. Every other time, I have been pleased. So I definitely give the staff and this location 5 stars. Keep up the amazing work!

My brother and I went through the drive thru and the cashier was rude. I paid with a gift card and asked her if she could change a $20. Before I got the whole sentence out of my mouth, she rudely stated she could not. Then, she hands me my first drink and with attitude, almost shoves the second drink into my hand and rudely says, heres your drink. My brother was going to tip her but decided not to after the rudeness. I get that we all have bad days however, but people still need to be professional.

They do the best they can with what they have. Its a Thursday around 2pm and they are slammed. The cashiers are very friendly and informative about specials going on and dont have a problem answering any of the other guests questions. Adam was very fast and efficient in handling a very long line that I personally have faced in other yet similar circumstances in the past working in pizzerias. The cashier is one of the most customer service type possitions in the food industry. The pressure of a line can crack even the most talented and veterened of cashiers. Good job Adam. But the production line was slow due to being understaffed. They were efficient as possible with the amount of people working.

Went to get my pumpkin spice latte at the new drive thru Starbucks.....Oh man, they had gnats/ fruit flies swarming in the food case and in the cafe. It was disgusting. The server said they dont serve from the display case.....thanks for that but not a very good impression for a brand new store. Wont go back.

Half of the cup was whip cream & not coffe, & they placed the round lid for whip cream which was a joke, the lid was clean, it wasnt that it dissolved in the coffe.
