The barista busting their butts while the dude making the food just talking and doing everything but making the food. Waited over 10 min for a price of banana bread while there was only 3 items that went in the ovens prior. I bet this dude asks for a raise though.

I generally like Starbucks and visit my local spot in San Marcos 3-4 times each week. This particular Starbucks is in the Wal Mart shopping area in Escondido. I dont know why, but this store on several occasions was really a mess. Overflowing trash, sticky tables, napkins & paper straw covers on the floor. I didnt want to sit down. If the napkin holders werent empty, I wouldve cleaned the table myself. My drink took a long time until ready & the baristas looked untidy themselves. I felt like this store was neglected, and I avoid this one. Hope it was just a bad day, but Ive heard similar remarks from others.

Most Starbucks are somehow full of friendly, smiling baristas despite the fact that they have a crazy hard job (and if you dont think so, youre probably part of the problem..but anyway)But this one was not only the fastest service Ive ever received but definitely one of the best coffees Ive ever had.Absolutely wonderful.

They are so busy here. Been sitting here working since 9 am, it is 12pm now and its been non-stop. They are all pleasant and working super fast to take care of everyone. Kudos to them.

Just went there with my boyfriend to get a drink and a cake pop… the barista working there was the sweetest girl ever. I think her name was Jackie (since that was the name on my drink). She made the experience really nice and was very kind to me from beginning to end. I interacted with her for probably less than five minutes but I could just tell she was making customers happy for her entire shift.

Accessibility: they have accessible/disabled parking spots in front of the building as well as a ramp to get onto the sidewalk. The door to enter is a pull door (a little heavy). There is a restroom inside with a code (ask the employees for the code). There are accessible tables and moveable chairs inside and a few outside.Experience: I love this Starbucks. All of the employees are so kind and welcoming, the drinks taste great, and they had a cute board up today where you can write your own positive message on a sticky note and stick it on the board for others to read. I thought this was a cute, fun thing for all who come inside to see.

First they got my drink wrong. I asked for a venti with a double shot and they only put two in. Common sense at least ask don’t assume. So I got my other two shots but I was still short one because the venti is supposed to come with three. Took 10 mins just to get a breakfast sandwich. When I walked in two of the females were just standing there talking not even acknowledging me at all. They sat and watched the only male their struggle rather than assist him which was so rude. Then some woman with curly hair came out the woodworks and was so rude to this customer talking about what are you waiting for and clearly the woman had issues with her English so she tried to show the photo and the woman with curly hair snatched it from her and was like don’t touch. Overall probably my worst Starbucks visit and I would recommend going to a different store. DO BETTER.

This morning I went to the Starbucks, I was getting a drink for me and my mother but my card declined. The staff were so sweet about it. They literally made my day! Thank you SOOOOOOO MUCH! Took quite a while to get through the ordering process, but that might just have been because I was using a birthday reward and a coupon. The barista who made our drinks wasnt particularly fast in his preparations (I assume that he was newly hired, because he asked his manager questions about ingredients several times,) but turned out the orders in a reliable and methodical way. (I dont know about you, but Id rather wait 30 seconds longer and get a decent drink than have something awful handed to me immediately.)

I asked for some half and half in my coffee, and the cashier charged me $.70 extra for putting half and half in my coffee. The guy working there said they always charge everyone extra just to add half and half to coffee. They don’t do this at other Starbucks, and when I told them that he argued with me and told me that they always charge to add half and half to coffee. The guy is rude and they rip you off here! Horrible customer service. This happened on the evening of Thursday October 21.

Ive been a gold member for almost two years now and (obviously) go regularly. U I went to the Starbucks off of Nordhal in San Marcos for the first time today and it is the first location I walked into to see a smiling and welcoming face. The woman automatically greeted me once I walked in, even though she was busy making drinks.. The guy who took my order was very helpful/suggestive when my first drink of choice wasnt available and did everything he could to offer something of similar taste. Overall best experience Ive had at ANY of the locations in San Diego County.

Barista was Efficient & Personable Coffee was not Fresh - very strong..Location cleanliness was needed .Barista did clean table & coffee prep area at my request . Friendly staff... accurate order...it is a smaller, so seating inside is limited. There are tables outside on the walkway, most in the shade. I gave it 4 stars because it was a little bit slow getting orders out and we had to clean up the table before we sat down. We didnt observe anyone cleaning floors, coffee cart or tables while there, as weve seen in other stores.

Theyve made my drink wrong three times now. The first time they messed up, I didnt come back because I already had my baby in the car, strapped, and ready to go. Today, they didnt get it right again so I went in and they redid my drink. When I was situated in my car with my baby, I found out it was wrong again. Jeeze.
