Very disappointed! Was my 3rd visit and the last 2 was in and out the drive thru. Food and drink hot. This morning 5/16 I waited almost 10 min before anyone came to the window after I placed my order. No sorry for the wait just took my payment and sent me on my way. Sandwich was cold and could barely eat double bacon egg sandwich was tough to bite into and chew. Thankfully the coffee was hot. Going to find a different location going forward.

Horrible location!!! The worst manager ever and I am longtime Starbucks customer. In fact, I live walking distance to this location but I drive a mile away instead of patronizing them. There are two employees in particular that are more than bad; J J and Jade make the experience worse than it already is. Such a shame that employees ruin a business and are not intelligent enough to realize that the customer always comes first.

Horrible experience went to a random Starbucks in Oceanside waited 30 mins for them to tell us they lost our tickets along with a lot of attitude for no reason. Made me feel like I was wrong for asking they left me standing there and when the only nice worker asked me if I had been taken care or I told him I was still waiting for a a resolution when this lady by the name of Chelsea or something like that intervened while making someone else drink to give attitude telling me out of the blue going on and on about how busy they were pretty much making matters worse rather then just making my drinks she was so mean to me I left in tears because she refunded me without my consent, I have no idea what I did to this lady. I go to Starbucks every morning at a different location and have never been treated like this. I felt like this specific woman was judging me and purposing causing unnecessary problems

They charged $1.25 for a shot of extra espresso AND THEN $1.25 to pour it in! I asked if I was charged incorrectly and the barista said “no that’s for the labor”$2.50 for espresso to be poured in my drink…maybe I can save $1.25 by having them put my mouth directly under the dispenserThe labor of pouring the shot?! It’s literally your jobThen they made the wrong drink so they had to go and make the actual drink I orderedSo ridiculousThis isn’t a Starbucks policy, it’s a decision made by the franchisee. This Starbucks is NOW terrible! The original crew seems to have all left. They had a previous location in the center next door and the manager and her crew were the best! When this new location opened they were all there. In the last month the crew n manager has changed. All the new employees are rude and slow. I work in the same shopping center and go there daily. I will not be going there again. The staff is rude, the drinks are terrible and the place is dirty. Bathrooms are disgusting. I’ll be reaching out to their district manager regarding this location.

I am out of town visiting family and went through the drive thru yesterday and I’m pretty sure his name was JJ, was helping me. I loved him so much! He was so sweet, helpful and informative! I’m so indecisive with my order sometimes and he took his time with me and helped me pick a drink he thought I would like that I hadn’t tried before. The drink was amazing and it was so nice not feeling like a burden for being indecisive. He had the best laugh and most friendly smile. Such an amazing out of town experience!

Since the new location opened, I am excited about the drive thru service. I have been frequenting this Starbucks both inside and using the drive thru since the Grand Opening. The baristas are very knowledgeable and pleasant, especially Callie and Chris. Even though this location can be busy, I’ve always been pleased with the accuracy of my order.

I never leave reviews but wow this is the worst Starbucks. The service here is awful. They are actually just flat out rude. I placed a mobile order about 15 minutes prior to walking in. When I got to the counter there was 4 men patiently waiting. One of the baristas named JADE came up to the counter and proceeded to ask every other person besides me that was there if they had a mobile order or if they needed any help. She treated me like I wasn’t even there. Finally after coming to the counter a couple more times and ignoring me I finally asked about my order, she literally rolled her eyes and said yeah I’ll do it. She made my order which was a chocolate chip drink without the chocolate chips. I asked her kindly if she could remake the proper way and she snatched the drink out of my hand and started re making it. She dropped off the drink that she had remade and now it had coffee in it. So at this point I had spent ahout 35 minutes inside Starbucks and waiting, and now I’m leaving with another wrong drink. I’m not sure if it was trying to spite me, but after 2 times of her making the order wrong I was embarrassed to even go back in to tell her it was wrong again.. Will not be coming back here thanks to the way jade treated me.

Nice Vista location, about a mile down the 78 from the 5 in a small but spacious strip mall. Pretty banal interior but it had a lively vibe inside at 530 am and the parking lot is huge.

Its been a while since I walked into a Starbucks, I usually just drive through and get my drink. Its sure odd that depending on what area you go and stop at a Starbucks, each one makes your MOCHA FRAPPUCCINO different. People its the same order every time: Mocha Frappuccino with 1 extra shot of expresso, whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, the only change is the size. Why is it so different? I have 5 choice locations in my area and NOT one makes it the same.

My girlfriend and I have gone multiple times, rarely go in because we always mobile order and pick up through the drive through however the last three trips we’ve made the service has been horrible, and it’s been mainly from one employee Justin or JJ, he’s forgotten our drinks, and tends to lack good service, we get to the window just hands us one of our drinks and said goodnight, I waited at the window for a few minutes he noticed us multiple times and finally the next order came up and he said “yes?”, I brought it to his attention that we were missing one of our drinks and he just kept saying they didn’t have that on the order, we showed him our order and I’ll give it to him he made it quickly but not once did he apologize for the inconvenience or the lack of customer service.

On Friday I bought a gift card for a birthday of a coworker. Once my coworker tried to add the card to her account, it had already been used somewhere else which was never used by me nor her. I had put the gift card inside a birthday card till I gave it to her so I know that it was never used. Starbucks could not give me another one nor report it as fraud. They couldn’t even tell me where it was used. It only said there was a redemption done all in one day which was inside a birthday card. It’s a waste of money and now I have to spend more money in order to repay her the original gift. Which is embarrassing for me since she thought I gave her a zero balance card. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM STARBUCKS it’s just a waste of money which they will not help if it gets used by someone who has the numbers even if the back Security code is not scratched off. That’s exactly what they told me.

Worst starbucks experience Ive ever had. I ordered my drink 10 minutes in advance from showing up to pick it up. I waited patiently for the drink. In the meantime, they called out two grande (medium sized) refreshers. The woman who came to pick it up spoke Spanish and said she ordered the grande size. Clearly a language barrier. All they had to say was she DID order the grande size, thats the grande size. She repeatedly spoke to them in only Spanish saying she ordered the grande making hand gestures that she ordered the large. A shorter woman with colorful pigtails and glasses just continuously told her that that is the grande size. I should have stepped in, super frustrating to hear that they couldnt understand that there was a language barrier. After about 3 minutes going back and forth, they took her back to the register and recharged her for two venti refreshers and took away the two grande ones. The woman left. A little while after, they messed up ANOTHER womans drink that asked for no fruit chunks in it. They said they would remake it and OFFERED HER THE MESSED UP ONE TO KEEP. So frustrating to hear after they just took away the other two drinks from the other lady. I FINALLY saw the tall guy making my drink going slow as a snail, using whole milk instead of half and half, and spilling it everywhere. It was handed off with little to no ice, BARELY any cold foam that I paid extra for, and with the cold foam spilling out to the sides of the cup, all over my hand. 25 minutes from when I placed my order. I was late to my lunch break now. Later I stopped at another Starbucks because I was so unhappy with my drink, so they remade it for me perfectly. Ive been going to Starbucks since I was a teen, even worked at one myself and have never ever had such a bad experience. Im sorry if i sound picky, but the entire experience from the second I stepped in the store was not good.

From the moment I walked in the interactions I had with the baristas were superb! Happy, friendly attitudes, and very professional. My drink was made perfectly! Especially since the barista on cold bar asked about the specifics of my drink. She said, I just want to be sure that I make exactly what youre wanting. It honestly doesnt get much better than that. The quality of service at nearly all Starbucks stores has been on the decline over the past 2-3 years, and this store is no exception. This morning I pre-ordered some items for pickup and identified myself upon arrival. Though there were only three other customers in the store, no one really cared to look into my order until I again inquired at about the 30-minute mark (since placing the online order). At that point everything was discovered out of sight behind the counter. Cold. Oh, and no trays for the multiple drinks, so I was offered an exercise opportunity with multiple trips to the car. If I run this store, all my employees are being sent to Chick-Fil-A school for customer service training tomorrow. Another disappointing Starbucks visit.

This was my main home store. They moved the manager to open a new drive-thru and since then its been a revolving door of bad services, bad stress barristas as they are constantly rehiring and obviously not getting the training. This WAS the best & busiest Starbucks in the area, however if your $5.00+ cup of coffee is bad, dont ask them to fix it, they dont know how, care why, as well as never take accountability. The regional manager should be ashamed. Ive contacted corporate office and I am told theyve had multiple new managers in the swelling number of over a dozen within a few years. As heartbroken I am bc I lost my home Starbucks, save yourself as there are 2 new ones nearby with barristas that not only care but will always fix the coffee you ordered here on Vista Way by Walmart... Having to buy in true need while during errands... So when you drive down the road on Vista Way to Target...theyll fix it, smile, apologize and Im so grateful for the new one by Target bc they DO CARE WHEREAS ID ADVISE TO KEEP DRIVING AWAY FROM THIS STARBUCKS AS ITS NOT WORTH THE PAIN, LOSS OF MONEY, TIME & FRUSTRATING LACK OF COFFEE AND HAVING TO DRIVE TO A NEW ONE ANYWAY! Every time you go to this location they ask you to wait before ordering at the drive thru screen. From entering the drive thru to getting your drink is a 20 minute wait, you can count on that every time. The employees move like they could careless about your time because they’re there 8 hours regardless so why put any pep in your step.

I enjoyed the convienience of this particular Starbucks. I went in the late afternoon and there wasnt much of a line at all. They have 2 leather couches inside and the service was prompt and courteous. We were even give 40 free iTunes downloads! You know what to expect, the location is fairly new/renovated. I stopped in yesterday morning at this location in Carlsbad and the young pretty little blond with the braids TOTALLY made my day! I was stressing out and was lost, using SIRI trying to find a place of business......and did I mention that I was an out of towner and had a plane to catch in San Diego in a few short hours? lol!
