I stopped at tgis Starbuck to work on some documents, grab a bite, and enjoy coffee. I must say, the service was quick, and the baristas crafted my C Macchi with Mocha upside-down in a whim! However, when I left, I accidentally forgot very important documents, which I thought I had forever lost. Nevertheless, this establishment didnt disappoint with their stellar customer service and had my documents saved until I was able to pick them up after a few days!! Thank you soo much to the staff and manager that made sure the documents werent misplaced!!

The DT is always busy and wait times are usually long. The only time you might get lucky with a 3- 5 min wait is M-F from 7am-9am. Thats when they usually have enough people working on the floor, other than that, it takes a while unless it happens to be slow. It is the only DT in the area, so thats just unfortunate, they need to open another one. And the store hrs say open at 4:30am, but thats for DT, not inside. The lobby opens at 6am. The store needs to update the hrs sign outside so customers get accurate times & stop getting upset. Drinks are good, and well made. They are nice about fixing any issue. Seasonal items are yummy, and anything with vanilla sweet cream Cold foam is great! :)

Well this Starbucks was the only reason for me to drive but i have been disappointed by them 3 times so i won’t be driving anymore guys. Yay! To clarify; one day all of the sudden they are always out of matcha regardless of what time i try; ask for when the matcha won’t run out and they won’t serve me any. More often than not, I come to this location and they mess up my drink. Today, I asked for a iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso and not sure what I got besides a cup of ice. Its really annoying when I spend $6 x 2 each time I go for my drink to not only be ruined, but mostly ice. There are plenty of other locations in the are, do yourself a favor and avoid this one!!!

Worst Starbucks I have ever gone too. The employee who took my order in the drive thru was extremely rude. When I pulled to the window to ensure my order was correct he wasn’t wearing a name tag so I asked him what his name was. He said it was “John.” He was very unprofessional and got my order wrong so I asked him for a side of sweet dream which he had an attitude about when I asked for it. One of my drinks was supposed to be an uncut venti vanilla sweet cream cold brew. And he just put in a cold brew and charged me for an add shot with no sweet cream in it. Then the two frappes I ordered were blended badly. Big chunks of ice, and the one with no whip had a foreign substance in my lid. There was also supposed to be an affagato shot in it as well and it’s clearly not there yet I was charged for it. The other drink looked like it had no coffee in it, yet I wouldn’t know. I didn’t keep any of them and tossed them all out. Worst Starbucks experience ever!!!!

I ordered through app to pick up I. Store. App said they closed at 10pm my order was ready at 928pm got there at 932pm to pick it up and doors were locked and employees pointed to the drive thru even though they knew it was my mobile order on their counter ready to be picked up. I waited for almost 30 minutes in the line. If that was the case I would have been in line and ordered fresh but was trying to save time. They wanted me to go through the app and get a refund. I told them I was already in line and I would like one alrwady they were telling me to come back some other time as well. They need to adjust their time for pick up orders that was just a waste of time I’m really upset. They could have also given me one of the drinks for free for the inconvenience they caused.

If you visit this place on a Friday morning and order ahead on the app expect that it’ll be 45 minutes to an hour wait time. I gave this place 3 different chances on a Friday morning and it’s been a consistent wait time. At one point the employee said she had to turn off mobile orders. If you’re desperate for coffee and you’re visiting this location just go through the drive thru. They prioritize them over mobile orders. No one that drove up had to wait 30 minutes. I watched. And if you order food, just know it’ll be cold by the time your coffee is ready.

Stopped by today around 1:30 to be waiting in line for a while. I placed my order and when I was about to be next a girl barista knew the girl in the car in front of me so she began to talk with her about meeting after work for 15 minutes. She had already handed her drink so she was literally wasting time. I get to the door to pay so I hand my card to a male barista who tells me they’re only taking cash or Starbucks gift cards. Luckily I was caring cash (which I hardly do) with me. Not sure why they didn’t mention that before I placed my order. Bad customer service. Hope you guys can do better next time.

The employees at this Starbucks are terrible about taking orders. Every time I order anything at the drive through, they get it wrong. Not warmed on a warmed item gets input as warmed. Light ice becomes extra ice. Its amazing that their mistakes are always the opposite of what you wanted. They never input 2 Splenda as 1 or 3, but it usually becomes Stevia. I wont use the drive through ever again so I can check my order before leaving.

Ive been an avid Starbucks customer (read as addict). Im still giving this brand new Starbucks some time to get their act together.On average, 75% of the time we go there, they tend to screw up our order or forget to pour our regular hot coffee at the register. Dont expect your drink in 3 minutes (as their rule of standards go) and expect new baristas. It doesnt seem like theyve transferred enough experienced baristas. Although once did we get a complimentary drink card because they messed up our orders (again).In addition, dont expect to get phone signal OR WiFi efficiently. If you get some, youre lucky. The City of Chula Vista needs to add more cell phone towers out here since more and more residents are coming to the area. So if you have a Starbucks phone app, make sure you have it loaded it before you enter the store. I have had no success loading it in store and we have Verizon.I hope I can edit this review in the near future, because their new location, seating areas, and facilities are wonderful! However, I would like to see an orderly line up for taking orders because their registers and pick up bar are right next to each other and the line gets congested and confusing.Update (as of 6/28/23)I was hoping improvement but this location seems to be a stomping grounds for trainees. Orders still take longer than usual and they typically keep messing up our orders 75% of the time. Unfortunately each time we visit the restroom, I find they arent kept neatly.Update (as of 1/18/24)Service is still slow and seems to be training grounds for new baristas. Average 10-15 minutes additional wait after placing order on mobile app. Do not go here if you are pressed for time.Also dont expect blonde roast drip coffee to ever be ready. This starbucks is right by my house so it’s convenient but i’ve never had so many issues at a starbucks before. They’ve at least messed up 10+ times by adding dairy, whip, coffee when I asked for a crème. There was a time where they had to remake my drink 3+ times and still got it wrong. I’m very understanding considering i’ve worked in the food industry for a few years now, but this is disappointing and frustrating. Team members are nice and it’s a clean restaurant overall.

Is it normal to get charged for this kind of mobile order? This location is always out of items whether it’s heavy cream or standard dark roast coffee. This morning I made a mobile order, got charged and came to pick up these two fancy plastic cups. Maybe the Starbucks app needs a notification when an item isn’t available or I don’t know, reverse the charge if the item isn’t available.

It is really sad how dirty this Starbucks is, but let’s talk about the customer service Lack of empathy, Rude customer service, Keeping the customer waiting and Lack of human contact.I paid for six shots and they only gave me two. I am a manager at a Starbucks in Arizona, so watching how they do my drinks is one of my biggest things. That being ripped off after I paid six shots total and only getting two shots is ridiculous. This location is convenient from the toll road 125 but the problem is very long wait. Always drive through order is prioritized. I went last Friday, did in store order, our drinks took more than 15min to 25 mins. One drink came but the other was not ....despite of some drinks were made and left on table but no names were called. Some drinks were made and those names were called but I noticed those drinks were picked up by people came away after us. So I had to ask our drink. Then finally one of workers checked overflow counter and the drink was happened to be left on a counter in front of batista without calling names.Many workers busy working and clean but it is very unfortunate. I dont want visit this location.

I love that this Starbucks has a drive through, but the line is always very long. Even if you get down to order inside there’s a long line and you’ll wait for a while to get your order. The day I ate inside i ordered a banana nut loaf and flies had gone inside. 2 flies in my loaf baggie and 5-10 more just flying around living their best life inside Starbucks. I haven’t gone back since cause it grossed me out.

I just had the worst experience ever at this location. The barista that made my VERY hot tea did not put the lid on all the way so when I picked it up it spilled all over me. None of the employees said anything or offered any help. This tea is extremely hot and it burned my hands and leg!!! I realize the morning rush if incredibly busy and they are working very fast, but they need to ensure the kids are on correctly because these drinks are very hot. Then they didn’t even react to a person spilling hot tea all over due to their error. I made a comment to them and they simply handed me a new lid without even making eye contact. This is so unprofessional and if I were a different type of person they could potentially have a lawsuit on their hands.

For them to have speaker communication issues and being backed up more than 20 minutes (drink should have been ready at 723am, and as of 742am I had to ask for it to get made) They should turn off their mobile orders. The store seems very unprofessional and appears to have a bunch of ill-trained people running everything. Its obvious they prefer to talk amongst themselves rather than actually take care of customers. Ask for certain things about my coffee and they purposely deceived me. Again acting as children would not as professional Baristas. Been to the store several times over the years that its existed has never improved. If anything its gone downhill. There are bright stars amongst the crowd that do stand out but 1 in 20 is not enough. Store definitely not up to the standards Im used to from Starbucks. Would recommend any one of the other Starbucks stores in the area if you want quick, friendly and accurate service.

This Starbucks drive thru is literally a nightmare, while I appreciate the effort of having a drive through, the actual efficient of it doesn’t even deserve 1 star. I’m writing this review while I a wait my turn to get to the window, it’s been 40 mins already, this is how bad it is. If you cannot have an efficient service then it’s better you don’t offer the service at all, I already saw so many customers leaving while I waited in line. Insane, there is no reason why a coffe and microwaved foods should take this long. The line isn’t even that long they just a long time to serve you.

Avoid this place if possible.Legit the worst experience today. I always order the same thing here since it’s walking distance to me.It’s a hit or miss. Some staff are nice, and helpful - others are sour, rude and make the drinks terrible.I’ve had 8 times out of 10 my drinks turn out terrible. I always ask for triple shot espresso w 3.5 pumps of white mocha and some milk.The white short thicker girl dumped some mocha, ice and espresso, and threw some milk on top. It looked like a 3 layer drink at this point. Tastes like pure syrup at the bottom and milk at the top. I’ve gone to other locations where they always mix it. I don’t think anyone wants syrup or milk not mixed ?Anyways, I didn’t touch the drink and politely asked if they could mix it since I didn’t touch it. She said sure and went about doing other stuff first. The tall white blonde girl came back with a stick and handed it to me- basically saying to mix it myself.Personally working in fast food previously - I don’t think it’s very hard to mix a drink that is supposed to be mixed. And if you’re upset about doing your job you probably shouldn’t work there. She had such a poor attitude.Overall - drinks are 50/50 depends who you get.Same goes for staff ! Hopefully you don’t get the blonde girl and thicker short rude one.

They are very busy, yet all the people behind the counter are super friendly, the manager is super nice and you can tell all the staff is very well trained. Ive come twice since I found out they opened the place. This Starbucks barely opened. It is very cleaned. The bathrooms are at the back and really clean. It is a Starbucks they all have a very distinctive look, yet this one is different, they were very busy the 2 times Ive gone and they are still ready to help you and take care of your order very fast. They have a little terrace you can sit at or you can go inside to find a little table an sit down. They serve all the classical drinks as well as the bottle coffees we all have grown accustomed to do drink, eat an love. All their pastries are the same and flavors are about the same. I know we have several Starbucks here in the area, I just have to tell you service with a smile here in this side of Chula Vista is always very welcome. My wife and I really enjoyed coming for a small date and a smile. Thanks to all the crew for make us feel special.

I order the same drink once a day sometimes twice a day. The shots are always burnt and the oatmilk is not filled to the top. It is always under the top line. After a long drove through wait then driving away with a horrible drink is just disappointing. I avoid this location; theyre consistently inconsistent with the way they make drinks. Walking into the store to have a re-made drink is just too much work. Id rather walk in another location that will make drinks correctly.

Please turn down the music inside. Its way too loud. The music should be ambient noise and not overpower my noise cancelling headphones with my own music blasting. I brought my friend to this place to get some work done and we had to keep repeating ourselves because of the music. Also, the cashiers mess up my order frequently despite how simple I keep it. One shot of espresso on ice. A few days ago they forgot the ice. The next day they accidentally made it a double espresso. I thought the cashiers were inept, but its not their fault they have to take orders through that stupid loud music. And if Im wearing a mask it makes it even more difficult for them to hear. Turn. Down. The. Music. Its awful, and everyone sitting inside has their own headphones on anyway. I would rate this place 5 stars if it wasnt for the music. Its that bad.

The worst ever Starbucks. I never write bad reviews, but they made me. I have been there hundreds of times and all the time the same problem. I go to drive-thru, make order when I approach window they say “Oh we are sorry we haven’t left any” and that’s after I waited for so long in the line. The same in store. I go there for almond croissant, make my order they say we have it, I am waiting full 10 minutes my baby crying, and voila, after 10 minutes barista says they don’t have caramel for latte, and they don’t have almond croissant. Came in on 6/14 at around 8:30 PM and there was no issue with the quality of drinks and food that we ordered but service is not up to par to other Starbucks I have visited before. We ordered iced tea and got the size wrong. Had to wait for what seemed to be a long time for staff to acknowledge me just standing there and the person that I eventually talked to wasnt the friendliest either. We also waited a long time for my sons brownie and again had to go up front to remind them about it. It was obvious that they had forgotten about it. Not very organized. Hope their service improves to the level of most other Starbucks I visit.

This has got to be the worst run Sbux. Drive thru takes forever. Mobile order has a line just to pick up. The pay cash now line is slow. Baristas making drinks a plenty but no one’s taking ownership over getting folks their drinks. I waited 35 mins in mobile pick up line while I could see my drink was just chilling there because the force a line to pick up (all drinks are behind glass/counter). Every other sbux lets folks grab their stuff on their own and go.

Hes very polite and goes out of his way to make sure you have a positive experience here. The service at this location is terrible, I ordered one drink, after watching multiple people that ordered after myself receive their orders and a twenty minute wait I respectfully mentioned I had been waiting a long time. I was told they were working on mine next. The barista made two more drinks for people that ordered after me. I have never had a worst experience anywhere. The line was long so I came back at a later time. The second time they claimed they couldnt hear me then laughed thinking I pulled away. Thinking maybe I was just having bad luck I went back. Once I placed my order they shoved the drink tray at me. I just moved to Chula Vista and was looking for the closest drive thru Starbucks to go to with my dog. The drive thru line at this location was super long but it was worth the wait. The barista that greeted us was super friendly. I told this barista how my dog was bit by another dog and had to go through surgery and I was looking for a drive thru to get her a puppacino. This barista not only got her a puppacino but also fed it to her for a sec and introduce himself & very briefly talked with us despite the long line. This was the best service ever. I really appreciate this kind gesture and making us feel welcome to the community. I feel bad I forgot his name but its the guy in the picture. Please help me identify him and tell him Thank you!! Share his kindness and great service!!

I go to Starbucks all the time. This is a new location in my neighborhood. Dont know what is going on but they seem unorganized when I place an order. Simple order plain bagel toasted with cream.cheese and morning bun heated. Took 20 mins to get my complete order. Got the coffee then waited and waited and waited. Finally got the bagel and cream cheese. Then waited and waited and waited. Then got the morning bun.The sad thing is this has happened more then once. We got in to the store at 9:30 PM and soon we walk in “Ferni” approach to us saying that they close at 9:30 PM and the sign posted they close at 10:00 o’clock PM, she didn’t even let us place the order to go, her argument was store closed at 9:30PM Drive through at 10:00 I told her that I was not driving my car as I left it at the other end of the shopping mall. First-able if the store closes at 9:30 why is a sign next to the door stating close 10:00 PM Second-able Why in the drive through business hours are not posted, like most of the businesses with Drive through.I thought Starbucks was all about Customer ServiceObviously “Ferni” doesn’t know that.

Anyone else ALWAYS get their order wrong at this location specifically? And no exaggeration with the Always I literally mean ALWAYS. From the moment they ever opened this location to present time, this team never has it together. Im glad there is another Starbucks location near by on olympic that has a team that works together to make it happen. Otherwise it would be extremely upsetting that this would be the only Starbucks near by. I cant believe how bad this guys are. And its not like they initially get your order wrong, when you order at the drive thru and they get your order, the screen reflects exactly what you asked for, but the moment you hit that window they got it all wrong, Everytime. Never fails! And when they still had the Starbucks open for walk in. I would say at the counter. Ill have soy on my drink please, Im lactose intolerant sure thing! I see the guy making the drinks. All whole milk, suddenly hands me one of those whole milk made cups. Like seriously? Why? This guys are going to get a huge law suit to be of these days. When someone lactose intolerant lands in ER. I wouldnt go through that trouble, but Im just sharing that if they keep messing up like that and some jerk happens to be their customer, it may happen.

Lovely, quick experience! My boyfriend ordered an Americano but the card reader wasn’t working so Jaden gave us the drink for free. As a former barista I remember how frustrating this could be for both the worker and the customer so we appreciated the gesture! Thank you Jaden!

WORST STARBUCKS EVER! I wait anywhere from 10-20 min in the drive thru and at the end Im always disappointed with how terrible my drink is. I always order the same thing, Tall or Grande Hot Vanilla Cappuccino with an extra pump of Vanilla. My cappuccino ALWAYS tastes burnt/bitter. These baristas need proper training when it comes to making good quality espresso drinks. I go to other Starbucks and my drinks taste fine but every time I come here they taste horrible! And yes I do know what these drinks should taste like because I was a barista for 3 years....wont be coming back to this location!

The staff seems friendly enough, seeing as how the customers almost always have an attitude. But, the wait time is a bit long. Whether they have short lines or long lines in the drive thru or in the lobby, I’m always waiting almost 10 minutes for my drink. On top of that, they seem to forget it exists in that time frame so I have to ask for it again.

I waited 20 minutes for an venti iced coffee that was served in but was actually a grande when I look at the cup, they shorted me for a $6.70. I get this drink all the time but today I was not satisfied at all. Given that I work at a coffee shop myself I find it odd that there was at least 8oz missing from my 20oz drink. I wish Google gave the opportunity to give negative stars.This is the worst Starbucks on planet earth! Avoid this location at all cost!!Corporate needs to start over and hit the reset button. Starbucks needs to look at this store as an example of what not to do pertaining to best practices. Corporate needs to fire the district manager and this fine example of a poorly trained staff in its entirety.It appears that we have come to the day and age of mobile orders having prevalence to dominate the one track mind of diaper wearing rude baristas. Walking inside a coffee shop to order a cup of coffee that is not brewed correctly is the new norm at Starbucks. The most epic fail at this location is the poorly trained rude staff and not to mention the drive thru with the many scrapes on the wall that could have been designed better by a chimpanzee.

They had nothing we asked for. No cold brew, no nitro brew, and no tea. If you are a coffee shop specializing in coffee, HOW do you run out?? The baristas and employees were very shy and meek. We had to check every drink that came out because the baristas were practically whispering the names.The coffee we ended up getting did taste good though. Thats why it gets two stars

The environment is nice and the staff as well, but I don’t understand why there is always one ingredient missing when I am ordering my coffee, or even when I want pastries, they are always out in their stock, it happened to me and my spouse multiple times. Regardless this is a nice place where to do my homework.

Normally I enjoy this Starbucks but the hours they have posted are incorrect. If you show up around 9:30 be prepared to only use the drive thru as they close the inside. I wouldnt be mad about this except they have it posted that they are open till 10 pm.

The biggest yet nicest and kindest Starbucks within the Eastlake /Otay ranch area. Its a great place to come and chat with friends over coffee but THE INTERNET IS CONSTANTLY SLOW. I AVERAGE 56K DOWNLOAD SPEEDS. What year are we in? 1999?

I recommend avoiding this Starbucks location; the staff isnt very friendly and they dont fill drinks to the top. Additionally, requesting extra milk seems to surprise them. You’re better off going to the Starbucks on Olympic Parkway

I liked that some of the guys are in a good mood, the barista who made my coffee I think was stressed, from afar I could see how he used too much ice and milk and when he covered the coffee it spilled, obviously it can be corrected, but he gave me the glass spilled, he could have cleaned it, that really shocks me, you dont come to Starbucks to receive poorly made coffee.
