This location is relatively new (it used to be a coffee bean and tea leaf). Clean interior with very limited seating, no tables. Two areas outside for seating: tables out front near the parking lot, and one end of the building with some umbrellas and what used to be a fire pit is now a planter.This location is on the cleaner side compared to many of the other locations downtown.

My favorite Starbucks in all of CA, the staff there were absolutely amazing. The shift manager Alanis had the store sparkling clean and running like a well oiled machine.

Good lighting, lots of space, comfortable outdoor area. It’s exactly what you would expect from a chain coffee shop. Plenty of people quietly tapping away at laptops. The single stall bathrooms are clean and locked with a code. Years ago when this was a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf the Santa Barbara Go Club met here weekly. They may still do so.

New location. Same coffee. They can’t seem to get my order correct. 3 mistakes on 2 orders. Oh well. Convenient location in the old coffee bean

Rude staff. Served a hot drink spilling all over the cup. Wiped up the counter but put the drink back down. Had to ask for a new cup. Not the first time they act like the customer is an inconvenience.

I havent had a caramel latte for a long time, and I explained the staff exactly how I wanted it. Two shots of espresso and double shot of caramel.I like my caramel latte like my woman, dark brown, strong and sweet. I didnt leave the place disappointed, my latte was beautiful, with thick foam, and the fresh aromas of coffee/espresso and sweet caramel.

Beautifully redone, with modern open space. Greatly improved over what it was only a year or two ago. The products and quality are standard. But not only is the inside space bright and spacious and modern but the outdoor patio and the location on the corner of State and De La Vina makes this a particularly attractive store.

I am not a huge fan of Starbucks already but thought different when I heard they might be dog friendly because of the pup cups. I went out of my way to go to this one and checked the front door to if there was a sign saying no dogs or service dogs only there was nothing. So I went in to order and was promptly told my dogs werent allowed inside. I tried leaving them outside but they immediately panicked. There was no place to properly secure them. I asked for a refund and left. Dont pretend to be dog friendly when you are not.

Lots of very uncomfortable moments, sitting outside with a row of giant SUVs left running, some with their exhaust pointing right at us. I liked it a lot more when it was a coffee Bean and tea leaf, had a cafe feel to it. Now its an industrial coffee dispensing operation, heartless and ugly.

The parking lot is hard to access unless you put the store to your right.NO frills here! Theres not really any café to sit in (there are a row of chairs along the window, but its a very small space), no phone chargers/plugs or anything. There was a homeless man sitting in one of the only two tables outside, so there wasnt really anywhere left to sit unless you wanted to be right next to him, or a few inches away on the other side of the glass. It felt rude when I sat inside because I still felt like I was in his space somehow.The bathroom was pretty clean, the drink tasted good.The vibe seemed pretty much like you were walking into a room that you had been in all day, so no one seemed to acknowledge that you were there - not ignoring you, just a generally bored atmosphere.I had some time to kill between a dentist appointment and a gig, and usually Starbucks has that fourth place vibe, but not this one. I was one of only a few cars in the lot, so I didnt even want to sit in my car while I waited. I felt like wherever I could sit would be in someones way, so I wont be going back. Dennys is down the street a couple of blocks and they have free coffee refills lol

I like Starbucks. We had medium Iced Vanilla Lattes. They were very good and refreshing on a hot afternoon. The service was delivered with a smile and great customer service!
