Exemplary customer service! Michelle was extremely sweet and accommodating, and I will return to this location in the future. She also gave me the recommendation to try a shot of blonde espresso compared to dark espresso, and I may say that I am impressed. It does taste a lot better than the regular espresso, so I appreciate her recommendation! Thank you so much for my birthday drink :) They even wrote happy birthday on my cup. It was a sweet gesture, and I appreciate it! 😊

So my friend I come to Starbucks to get some hot beverages and after ordering we sit down and these two young ladies decide to move from table closes to us to the table were they are now seated in the background. Im not exactly sure what stuck up their privileged buttockss but I have a very good idea. I bet both their names are Karen.To make matters worse we ordered at 7:32pm with nobody in front of us and it wasnt until 7:49pm we received our beverages. Starbucks use to be better than this.

FYI: This is my first review ever!I always go to Starbucks in different cities in southern Calif, depending where my job takes me.This Starbucks is the dirtiest one I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going there for past two weeks but today is the last time I go there.There is always small trash on the floor and tables are sticky. They have plenty of employees working there and loudly joking among themselves. I’m sure they can break away from them joking around/having fun and spend just a few mins cleaning up. The employees are not friendly like the other Starbucks I’ve been to.Another thing, they put a sign on the bathroom door “bathroom out of order” when in fact it is not out of order. They’ve had the sign for a week now. I understand they have homeless people in the area and want to keep them out. But let’s have paying customers use the bathroom. And if it was out of order which is not the case, I takes a few hours to get a plumber to fix it, not a week.I will go to the Starbucks across the street at Ralph’s market. Atleast they have friendly employees and the small place is clean.

I’ve been coming to this Starbucks on a regular basis and normally use the restroom each time I come. They have a keypad code you have to enter to use the restroom. Since I usually come daily, I have the code already to use the restroom. Early last week I noticed they put a hand written note on the restroom door saying it was not in service. Fast forward to Friday of last week I noticed the sign was removed and I used the same code to open the restroom door. I used the restroom and all was good. As I exited and walked away, I noticed someone else wanted to use the restroom, but didn’t have the restroom code. I overheard him ask one of the baristas for the code and she said it was out of order. I thought that was weird because I just used it and nothing was wrong. I then came back on Monday the following week and noticed the sign was still on the door. I asked if the restroom was still out of order and the barista said yes. I believe this Starbucks location is putting a sign up on the door saying it’s out of order so they don’t have to deal with any of the daily maintenance of it. They need to make it a priority to repair the restroom if they have a sit down lobby where people, meet, study, work, or just order and use the restroom before they go.

I am new to San Diego and have been going to this Starbucks for the past month or so, they truly provide a great customer experience. Always checking in on all there regulars as well as always coming well with a positive energy, particularly those in the morning shift. They have made my transition so much lighter, and have really been just beyond great. They try to be as quick as possible and are very consistent with quality of drink/food and time they take. I truly have nothing but the best things to say about this Starbucks :)

I just left here after volunteering to pick up a co workers order. I stood there, the only person at the counter, while a small woman with a red hair and a ponytail chatted extensively with a tall curly haired young man about her plans to buy an Alfa Romero and such. they went back and forth, standing mere inches away and either never asked or wondered why I was at the counter? after five minutes I asked who was going to ask me why I was standing there and what I needed? There were four employee total working just now, but two were engaged in personal chatting while the other two busily worked the window and the register. The red headed woman got angry when I asked for assistant, telling me anyone else would have just grabbed their order from a spot on the counter that was out of reach to me. She actually slapped the sandwich on the counter and handed me the drink, again repeating what most people know where to pick up. This seems easy enough to instruct waiting customers to do, if only she wasnt so engaged in her future car talk, she would have asked herself why I was standing there still? and notice that perhaps I didnt know that. I dont go to Starbucks often and wasnt impressed with the service enough to consider starting. I cant wait for the robot revolution to replace these workers. Cant Wait!!!!! I will go to StarBucks when the useless people have been replaced.

The worst service Ive gotten. Couldnt hear us. Or didnt try to. Charged for vanilla and vanilla cold foam, barely got any foam and paid for syrup I never got. The guy wouldnt even say hi once we got to the window...in fact he didnt say one thing the whole time we sat there. Despite asking him how his day was going. I have never had such a horrible experience at Starbucks. Not to mention, they owe me like two dollars for cold foam and vanilla syrup.

Went with my nephew to get two caramel frap it took them 35 minutes to get my order. When I asked for my order the server didnt even look at me ask my name in a rude manner. My drinks taste different every time I go but at least the food is okay. Last time I got the feta wrap and it was so soggy all of the egg was at the bottom of the wrap and the top was just tortilla. Also I forgot to wear my mask in the drive through ONE TIME because I was rushing to work so I quickly grabbed my sweater and tied it over my face to pay quickly and the lady at the front made me get out of my car in the drive through and I had to get one in my trunk even though I already pre paid. I understand the caution but she could’ve left it outside instead of scolding me....

The line was long although it moved fast. Only issue i had was the girl at the window wasnt very friendly. She set my drink on the drive through window, took my $20, took a fairly long time to stick it in the bill checker machine, meanwhile, the flies are landing on my whip cream. Then she hands me my change and my drink and doesnt say a word. Maybe she was just having a off day. Happens to us all.

The drive up area can get a little crazy when busy and back into street. If you go inside the place is nice and clean. Usually a younger crowd . The staff is nice and get your order correct ! If you sit inside stay away from the speaker I found it to be too loud for comfort.

This Starbucks has nice staff at the counter. However inside the store has been becoming less and less people friendly over the past few years. Furnitures have been removed from the store and less comfortable chairs and tables have replaced them. There are fewer outlets for charging devices, and even some of the existing ones don’t properly work. Many times the trash cans are beyond full and unattended by the staff. Overall the redesign of this location each year seems more unwelcoming. I only hope inside the store improves and becomes more welcoming to people again.

I love the employees here theyre super nice. Unfortunately this location always has the bitterest almost burnt tasting coffee, we visit a lot of different Starbucks and this is noticeably more bitter than normal. We keep coming back though because theyre so nice, and its a nice place to do school work while waiting for my kid to get out if school.

This is the fastest drivethru in the area by far. Excellent service! As far as tables and chairs....the arrangement hasnt changed in the past 6 months, and there are 7 low-seating tables, including a large family style table that seats 8. There are both traditional chair options as well as padded stools.

This is my favorite Starbucks the store is always clean and the staff is always friendly and professional. Due to the location with the college crowd and El Cajón traffic they can get slammed with customers, but I have seen them go through it one order at a time with a smile and great attitude. I have yet to sit down and study or chat, but thats what this place was built for. I saw some of the reviews about the traffic and bottle neck, but I dont see a way around it. There is limited parking like everywhere here and honestly its more parking than most. The drinks I get here are usually great and I cant ask for a better set of Starbucks employees. I usually go here early in the morning.

Went here to get a drink, they messed up my order and when I went inside to fix it, there were about 6 employees chit chatting and doing nothing. I waited for a few minutes then asked if I could get help. When I told them my order was messed up they didnt even apologize. They fixed it, but needless to say this location doesnt have their stuff together. I gave back a star after the girl who handed me my drink was sweet and polite. She also was working hard.

I like Starbucks. I drive by and get coffee frequently. I come inside and stay once in a while. Every time I come inside, theres a new arrangement of furniture meant to restrict the amount of customers and the time they stay. They make the tables and chairs taller, which looks cool for a brief visit but is less comfortable if you plan to stay. They reduce the number of tables and chairs. Etc. It would seem that their entire business model is based on enticing people to buy and leave. And this is why I prefer to go to other places when I have the option. Even when Im driving by... I prefer to choose places that are not designed to keep customers out. A cafe should be a place that invites customers to stay, not one that redesigns the store all the time to keep us out.

I used to love going to this Starbucks, until one day through the drive thru they charged my card $20 for my Starbucks app and it never went on my account, yet my bank said I had to talk to them. I wanted to get my Shaken Iced Green Tea Refill, but I was denied & told I would have to stay in the store to be eligible for a refill. Once I left they could not give me the refill. Very upset that the drive thru attendant argued with me about my books for happy hr. The happy he today from 2-7 said any drink and I told her I was doing my bogo when I ordered and when I pulled up to the window she told me the before bogo price. She scanned my loyalty app and still gave me the same price plus didnt take any money off for my using my reusable cup. I told her the happy hour said all drinks were included and she said that regular hot and iced coffee werent. This made no sense to me. The coupon said no exclusions. So I told her this and she told me that if it was included it would have taken it off. Mt daughter was crying in the car so I paid but I was so disappointed that for one she didnt honor my happy hour that said no exclusions and for two that she didnt tell me about the exclusion when I ordered. The drive thru is fast and friendly, but not friendly to a growing line, it goes into the alley driveway which blocks parking spots and an entrance/exist. Drivers fight for whos going next.Service is always friendly and fast, BUT! the QUALITY of the drinks is TERRIBLE. I have noticed a new crew and since then my COLD BREW taste like WATER and they get an attitude when u COMPLAIN. This is a joke. At this store around 8:30pm Saturday I bought my coffee, talked to someone outside and before left for work I came in and asked the guy at the counter the passcode for the bathroom and he gave me and as soon as I entered inside another rushed and yelled at me saying get out! You can’t use it so I asked why not? His response as that it is wet. I asked him where’s wet and I pointed to the dry floor. He was silent for a bit and said you can’t use it. You have just wait. I tried to follow since he is working there and demanded more sense than just simple angry words. I tried to understand him but he couldn’t explain himself or back up his words. Agin I reminded him that, his co worker gave me the password and he he didn’t tell me anything was wrong with the restroom. And again he was silent as he felt guilt. After all that I had to leave that store where I spend over $150 a month and visit Starbucks twice a day. I didn’t want quarrel therefore I left and told him bye. He was not a kind person. I begged him even but he wasn’t a human being perhaps a terrible maker as I notice his attitude and disrespectful behavior.

If a customer asks for almond milk or any substitute it’s usually cause they have an allergy, not cause they wanna be fancy. I got regular milk in my drink today and I’m in a lot of pain cause someone wasn’t paying attention or just didn’t care. If I had a severe allergy to dairy this would be a big problem. Please pay attention baristas.
